This place is trash! I ordered a new york style pizza. That have no idea what that is, plus the pizza was burnt. Taste like leaving a frozen pizza in the oven to long. The entire bottom of the pizza was black. I'm from Jersey, this isn't even bottom pizza. You can get a tombstone for less and tast way better. Will never ever order again! Complete trash! read more

My Stepson and his family moved from Mooresville to Moss Plantation in Concord a number of years ago/ We have had pizza from DiMaggios many times over the years and they were always good. What would happen in most cases, Russ would order Pizza and other fixing from DiMaggios and to pick it up since they were only 5 minutes away. There a couple of times when things were hectic with other events going on that Russ would order from DiMaggios and my wife and I would drive over and bring the food home. Always prompt and never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to pick up the order and get it home still piping hot. Granddaughter Riley was home from college this weekend getting ready for end of semester this weekend while Grandson Grayson was getting realy to finish up his Junior in HS. Another busy weekend. Susan and I volunteered to spring for lunch today and we ordered from DiMaggios before we left Denver NC on the way over and asked for the Pizza to be ready in about 25 minutes. Ordered the Italian Meat Lovers Pizza 16 inch size which is covered with Pepperoni, Meatballs, Sausage and Ham. Generally, the kids would have more than happy with just a plain Pepperoni Pizza but I wanted something else. In addition, there were two orders of the Garlic Knots. Perfect timing. Showed up just before the Pizza was coming out of the oven with the Garlic Knots now far behind. Went ahead and paid for it and as soon as it was ready, placed it in the car and we were at their house within five minutes. With pleasantries and greeting, did not dig in immediately but by the time we did, the pizza was still hot. The Marinara for the Garlic Knots was perfect. Definitely recommend. read more

Our pizza nights are with DiMaggios. We typically choose delivery or carry-out. Our favorite pizzas are the buffalo chicken and veggie. Our kids love the spaghetti with meatballs. This place is a modeled after a Brooklyn Pizzeria, and like pizza places in NY, they sell it by the slice (yes). The crust, the cheese, the sauce is authentic NY pizza. One bite and for a moment I am back home in NYC once again. They also offer soup, entrees, wings, desserts and salads. The prices are a bit above average, but parking is easy. With a large shared lot there are usually good spots to find. Caveat: Service is mighty slow. I would advise you to call in your order. Otherwise plan to wait 20 - 30 minutes. Ordered delivery on a Saturday night just before 7pm. Person on the other line was pleasant and informed us it would take 45 minutes. Starving, we ordered: Garlic knots with marinara sauce $3.00 1 large salad with balsamic vinaigrette dressing $5.99 1 large Veggie Delight pizza with pepperoni on half $18.25+ 2 Cannolis $3.25 each Fortunately for us, it arrived in under 45 minutes. I was so hungry that I started working on my second garlic knot before my SO could finish paying the delivery guy, who was also pleasant and friendly. It came with 6 knots. They were warm and had ample garlic flavor. We had already taken one slice of pizza each when I realized I forgot to take a picture for Yelp. Oh well. I have never had a veggie pizza with eggplant before. Although I am not a fan of eggplant, I think it's a nice addition. It also had a generous amount of black olives, green peppers, mushrooms, and onions as well as a decent amount of pepperoni on half. The pepperoni half was my half. I was pleased with the low salt and grease levels. Flavor was good, but not mind blowing. The salad was okay. It came with lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, olives, onions, mozzarella cheese, and croutons. I think I'll try their Greek salad next time. The cannolis were big and drizzled with chocolate syrup. The person who took our order asked if we wanted chocolate syrup on top. Who would actually say no to that? They probably Hershey's chocolate syrup if I were to guess. Again, not mind blowing but was sweet enough to satisfy our sweet tooth. Glad this place delivers. Prices are reasonable especially for the portions. I went to pick up my order, got home and realized there was 3 things of marinara but no knots. Also, was charged for ALL the sides of marinara. I called and the owner told me 'you should have checked your order.' Im sorry that i cant run your kitchen for you.
