    Kids grilled cheese and fries

Came here before tackling great wolf lodge, and was pleasantly surprised! The beer was good - a decent craft beer, and a huge selection of Waltrip and local. It's also a good addition to the area, as I don't think there are many breweries up here. I liked the coconut IPA and my husband liked his Mexican lager! The food here was also surprisingly good! The burgers were perfectly cooked, flavorful and juicy. I would order a burger here again and again. My husband felt the same way about his BYO burger. My kids also enjoyed their kids meals, which is a win! Another fun thing is they do "eat dessert first" - the manager did come out and ask if it was ok - and then brought out a fried Oreo for each of the kids (it was delish)! The place itself is very open, lots of tables. It also has a game area and pool tables. There's something for everyone here. Next time we are in Concord, we will certainly stop in again!

What an awesome spot! I stopped by here for lunch on a Thursday afternoon and it was pretty quiet. The staff greeted me immediately and I was so lucky to have the pleasure of being helped by Jane. I felt right at home here and the service was beyond what I would expect from a taproom in the middle of a quiet day. Jane took such amazing care of me - making sure I was enjoying my experience the entire time. The food is fantastic too. I had the Cobb salad which was enormous and I had to take most of it home. The menu is not overwhelming and I can't wait to go back and try some other items. GREAT BEER SELECTION OF LOCAL BREWS! The crowds started to come in around rush hour time and I definitely imagine this is a hoppin' spot in the evenings and weekends. Loved the vibe overall including the pool tables, numerous TVs (which have sound on for the game) and the large open space where you can bring a big group. They have outdoor seating as well. Highly recommend stopping by here to watch a game and enjoy the hospitality. Thank you to Jane for giving me such an awesome first impression of this spot - I'll be back very soon!!

Amazing place! First off, Michael was there hanging out, socializing and taking pictures, SUPER friendly and fun! Food was good, seltzer was delicious, fun atmosphere! Our waitress at the bar Zen was super friendly, fun and recommended some of the delicious food we ordered! She provided great service! Highly recommend coming here to hangout, eat and drink! They even have darts and pool tables!

Beers are cold and the food is great! The pretzel bites are ridiculously delicious, They come with three dipping sauces I got two of the beer cheese and a pimiento cheese. I also had the chicken pesto flatbread which was also very good. The highlight of the night Michael came in and thanked and greeted everyone that was there. It was an ounce in a lifetime event. I was saying to him that my wife was going freak out and he suggested taking a pic. Micheal is as genuine as you see on Nascar and the different documentaries he has done. His beer line is very diverse and I definitely would recommend. My choices of the night were his IPA line and his sour, it is like a dessert.

Food menu - burgers, apps, salads and a couple sandwiches.

I have so many thoughts about this place that I'm not even sure where to begin. First the good: the food was pretty good. We had burgers, fries, tots and wings. The burger was cooked to order, the fries were hot and crispy and the wings were tasty, though small. Our server was attentive and the manager was friendly and came by to check on us as well. Now the so-so: We tend to be beer snobs, so our expectations are pretty high. And the beers were a disappointment. There was nothing wrong with them, they just weren't good enough to stand out from the crowd. We tried all three IPAs from the Michael Waltrip Brewery. We were disappointed that the IPA from a wicked Weed was unavailable. Now for the not so good: we visited on Friday afternoon shortly after opening, and we were the only customers there until we were almost finished. That makes me think this place won't last very long. And now let's talk about the decor. This used to be a generic sports bar, and some evidence of that is still evident. However I expected at least SOME sort of Michael Waltrip theme somewhere. There was no posters or photos of Michael and his cars, no Nascar car parts or even a checkered flag in site. I would think that when a driver owned restaurant is this close to the Charlotte track, there would be SOMETHING. Overall the decor is very bland and boring, like they didn't even care. It's definitely not inviting. Also, why was every single tv on the same channel?? Will we be back? I highly doubt it.

The Bobby Ray. MW dust, you gotta try it. Love the little fry basket the fries are served in.

We started out with a bit of "I don't know if we want to stay feeling", because we got there 15 minutes after they open and the parking lot was empty. We figured this place would be packed to watch NASCAR on a Sunday. Then when we sat down or server said, we are out of wings and a bunch of beer, and there is something wrong with our TV's. Like the Michael Waltrip (MW) beers and other about 8 different ones, and we can't watch racing, seem like this might end bad. But we decided to stay and we were glade we did, because the food we ordered made up for lack of beer choices. I got a Bobby ray burger because....pimento cheese and waygu beef. The burger was fantastic, sear crunch on the outside medium on the inside, bacon jam, and some jalapeños for a little heat. I ordered the fries there good, but add truffles they are great, add some MW dust and wow wow. The MW dust is superb, but they don't sell it to go, someone please tell Michael Waltrip to star selling this to the public. Richelle got chicken fingers, which were good but not like, these are the best. However, she also got the tots with beer cheese and bacon which are worthy of special attention. I did get a MW Bristol sunshine ale, which was a little too much citrus for me. Richelle got a MW blonde ale, we both like that one. Lots of TV, real dart boards, pool tables. Probably would be fun filled with race fans. Our waitress was very nice, friendly, and attentive, she was the one that said have you tried our MW dust. Nice one page menu, wagyu beef, and some diamond finds like truffle on fries and MW dust on ANYTHING!

I ordered a large pep pizza (that was half off) and a "hog" sampler. The mozzarella sticks are very long. They were fresh but slightly overcooked and flavorless, honestly. The cheese on top was almost pointless as it didn't add flavor and it fell off immediately. The quesadilla was tasty. The garlic parm wings were crispy and cooked well but the sauce was different... it wasn't nasty but not what was expected. After a conversation with the waitress, she knew it was different. In these cases, I believe the servers should tell customers that versus letting them find out after the fact. The pizza came at 9:30pm and tbh, it wasn't the best lol. It was mainly for the boys and they ate it with no issues. It was subpar to me and I was disappointed. The service was inconsistent with attentiveness which was another bummer considering it wasn't busy at all. It's unlikely I would return.

Suitcase Social Club Check-in:…read more I dropped into Twin Peaks Concord for lunch today and made the very adult mistake of thinking this was going to be a quick, sensible stop. It was not. The outside bar on a Tuesday is almost unfair. Easy breeze, laid-back atmosphere, cold drink in your hand, and a setting so dialed in that your responsibilities start feeling like distant rumors. It's not loud, not wild, not trying too hard. Just smooth, relaxed, and dangerously good at convincing a man that the rest of the day can fend for itself. And then there's Becki Mae. Becki Mae is the kind of bartender who could improve a tax seminar. Warm, funny, inviting, easy to talk to, and carrying just enough wink-and-laugh energy to make the whole afternoon feel suspiciously better than it has any right to. She doesn't force anything. She just has that natural way of making you feel welcome that turns a simple lunch into a full-blown mood adjustment. A couple of winks from Becki Mae and suddenly I'm sitting there acting like I remembered why I came in, while my brain is somewhere in the parking lot smoking a cigarette and asking for a minute. The whole setup at Twin Peaks knows exactly what it's doing. Beautiful women, easy conversation, cold drinks, and that laid-back outside-bar feel that makes you wonder whether "just one lunch" was ever really the plan. It's not over the top. It's not a circus. It's just a very pleasant attack on your focus. I had the Chicken Ranch Sandwich, and it absolutely delivered. Great flavor, satisfying, no nonsense, and gone fast enough that I considered ordering another one strictly for research purposes. It did its job admirably while the rest of the atmosphere kept trying to put me on academic probation. That's what made this stop so good. Not chaos. Not noise. Not some huge production. Just a damn near perfect Tuesday lunch: great sandwich, outside bar, beautiful atmosphere, and Becki Mae making the whole place feel like a much better use of time than anything waiting back at the office. Quick bite intel: Outside bar: elite Tuesday behavior Chicken Ranch Sandwich: strong, reliable, no notes Becki Mae's vibe: warm, hilarious, and wildly distracting to the male spirit Overall mood: like your lunch break took its shirt off and ordered another round Twin Peaks Concord absolutely nailed it today. Relaxed, fun, easy on the eyes, and effective enough at improving morale that I'm not fully convinced it should be legal before 2 p.m. Suitcase Social Club Rating: 4.9/5 Tuesday lunch appeal: dangerously convincing Chicken Ranch Sandwich: held the line Becki Mae's hospitality: should come with a warning label Outside bar energy: enough to make a grown man forget his LinkedIn password Tim Albright, the Suitcase Regular

So while my never-ending battle to get my beers counted in real-time still remains the bane of my ubiquitous existence here, at least the staff make it a little less maddening. To be fair sometimes it is tech issues where the app (which I have a neverending love/hate relationship with) will decide to do some new, weird, baffling yet enraging thing that mucks up my beer count, but I can always count on my Ladies in Charge Izz & Kels to work their magic. I also gotta give shoutouts to my girls Maddie & Stella & Katie for always taking care of me and finding ways to turn my frowns upside down! I have enjoyed the different styles and breweries they have recently been bringing into the mix (I thought I had died and gone to beer heaven when I saw they had 6 yes SIX 3 Floyds beers on tap & in cans!), but have noticed they haven't been adding as many local NC beers like they used to, which makes it hard for a regular, such as myself, on her 17th plate to come in for $5 NC Drafts on Sundays. I appreciate the new daily specials on Fridays/Saturdays and showing more appreciation for BeerKnurds that have been added (notably 1/2 lunch for BKs on Tues from 11am-3pm), but REALLY REALLY wish they would do more stuff (as in ANYTHING) for MOUs (BKs w/5+ plates). All that being said, you really can't beat their $5 off any draft on the wall or hard liquors + wine Mondays or their create your own pizzas (might I suggest my personal creation & fav the "Tickle My Pickle?); the food menu is just solid as their kitchen staff are some of the best (and nicest) in the biz! It's seat-yourself, so we had to pull a couple tables together to fit everyone. One thing to note: it was very warm inside, so I'd recommend sitting toward the back where it's more comfortable. My boys really enjoy this place, so I wanted to like it more, but the food was just okay and a bit pricey for what you get. Most items run about $14.99-$21.99, even appetizers are at entrée prices. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries appetizer ($15.99) after hearing they were "fire." The steak had good flavor, but the portion was light--fine for sharing, but not very filling. One entree, Big Dipper ($15.49), a roast beef seemed overcooked and there wasn't much meat on a large bun. Two people from the table ordered pizza. Neither ate more than 2 pieces. On the positive side, the beer selection is excellent, with plenty of options on tap and in bottles and cans--from Guinness to local IPAs. The atmosphere is also unique: plates cover the walls and ceiling from guests who've completed their beer challenge, which makes for a fun, quirky vibe you really have to see in person. Dart boards for those who want to be a bit more active. Overall, it's a great spot for beer and atmosphere, but the food and pricing didn't quite match the experience for me.
