Suitcase Social Club Check-in: I dropped into Twin Peaks Concord for lunch today and made the very adult mistake of thinking this was going to be a quick, sensible stop. It was not. The outside bar on a Tuesday is almost unfair. Easy breeze, laid-back atmosphere, cold drink in your hand, and a setting so dialed in that your responsibilities start feeling like distant rumors. It's not loud, not wild, not trying too hard. Just smooth, relaxed, and dangerously good at convincing a man that the rest of the day can fend for itself. And then there's Becki Mae. Becki Mae is the kind of bartender who could improve a tax seminar. Warm, funny, inviting, easy to talk to, and carrying just enough wink-and-laugh energy to make the whole afternoon feel suspiciously better than it has any right to. She doesn't force anything. She just has that natural way of making you feel welcome that turns a simple lunch into a full-blown mood adjustment. A couple of winks from Becki Mae and suddenly I'm sitting there acting like I remembered why I came in, while my brain is somewhere in the parking lot smoking a cigarette and asking for a minute. The whole setup at Twin Peaks knows exactly what it's doing. Beautiful women, easy conversation, cold drinks, and that laid-back outside-bar feel that makes you wonder whether "just one lunch" was ever really the plan. It's not over the top. It's not a circus. It's just a very pleasant attack on your focus. I had the Chicken Ranch Sandwich, and it absolutely delivered. Great flavor, satisfying, no nonsense, and gone fast enough that I considered ordering another one strictly for research purposes. It did its job admirably while the rest of the atmosphere kept trying to put me on academic probation. That's what made this stop so good. Not chaos. Not noise. Not some huge production. Management. I witnessed a manager who's name is Rickey yelling at his employees. At the end of his rant he singled out a young black guy and was very disrespectful towards him. Bravo to the kid for walking away with a smile. I actually got up and left the bar after seeing it. Been going here for years, there have been ups and downs. Food was good on my last visit, (generally food is always decent here) I sat at the back bar (I call it the outside bar). The service was very bad. We sat a long time before being recognized. We got some drinks and menus, then it took forever for them to ask if we were ready to order. In fact I had to raise my voice and say we were ready to order for them to look n our way. We took up a conversation with the gentleman beside us, he was also frustrated with the service. They were more interested it talking to the bus boys that were hanging out at that bar then the guests. This went on until we finished our meal and left. Hope this is not going to be the norm. Generally we sit inside and dont have an issue, but this was way beyond rudeness to everyone at the back bar. read more

I've been here before when the service and food was actually good. This experience on 9/25/25 was sub-par and that's putting it lightly. First of all they were out of their house "Dirty Blonde" beer. How does that happen? Next my son's and wife's food came out about 10 minutes before mine did. The wife ordered chicken ranch sandwich and my son ordered 6 boneless wings. I had ordered a Chipotle Chicken with a Caesar side salad. We had also ordered a fried pickle appetizer that we NEVER received. Pretty piss poor service for a Thursday night. Our waitress Angelina spent more time at a table on the edge of the patio talking with her friends than she did serving her other patrons. Popped in here to grab a bite to eat before going to AMC. When we walked in the manager and lovely ladies were at the front podium but the greeting was dull. Once seated it took forever for a waitress to come over. The lackluster waitress came over and took our order. Her hair and makeup was tea, but her personality was not. The food came out relatively fast and it was delicious. The bartender helped to create a memorable experience because the drink was strong and flavorful. For a Friday night was expecting better service. The bartenders seemed more concerned for their regulars which is all fine. But I'm here for ice cold beers. Getting our appetizer was really fast! Thank goodness we ordered that. Yes it's Friday and it packed but just give us a heads up if the kitchen is backed up on our burgers. And just keep the beers coming... I won't be mad at that. Absolutely horrible experience. We were on vacation and decided to try this place and it turned into one of the most ridiculous restaurant experiences I've ever had. I took one sip of my fiancé's drink and suddenly a waitress from a completely different table decided to come over and involve herself in our business. Our actual waitress was very nice and was apologizing the whole time, so this review is not about her at all. The issue was the other waitress and the manager, both of whom were rude and completely unprofessional. The food has gone way down hill at this location. Past 2 visits were disappointing. Not only did it take almost 45 min to get our food (both times, and it's just me and my hubby), the food was 'eh at best. I had the Philly cheesesteak from the 'newly marketed' scratch menu which boasts 'thinly sliced ribeye grilled and stacked high', but what came was some processed 'steak um' looking concoction. My hubby ordered the Italian flatbread which was suppose to have meatballs on it, but it was more like ground beef sprinkled on it. Won't be going back for food anytime soon. read more

I've been to multiple Twin Peaks locations across the country, and I don't usually leave reviews--but this one needs to be said. Faith was, without a doubt, the best service in this entire store. Every time I came in, she made the experience smooth, welcoming, and actually enjoyable. She paid attention to details, checked in at the right times, and made customers feel like they mattered. Unfortunately, she's not here anymore--and you can immediately feel the difference. The energy is off, the service has been inconsistent, and overall it's just not the same place. I've given it a few chances since, hoping things would improve, but it hasn't. At this point, we won't be coming back. When you lose the one person who made customers want to return, it says everything that needs to be said. read more

We showed up this evening with some family that was from 10hrs away. We placed our orders and waited for about 1hr and a half before we asked for a manager. Waited another 10 minutes, asked for the manager again. When he eventually came, he made every excuse in the book blaming the girls that were there, and the 7 that called out. He also blamed it on the Carolina vs Duke basketball game that had came on, and the foot traffic that, that had caused. But we were there 30 minutes before that game even came on, and they weren't busy at all at that time. I could go over every excuse in the book that he had used but it's not even worth it. When I had asked for his name, he reluctantly gave me a card, and then kept trying to press me and try to be intimidating. As he was handing me the business card he said, "I bet you won't be so tough and talk outside". There is a reason 14 waitresses were scheduled and 7 called out. The atmosphere and the energy that Ricky Desmore, the manager, puts off sends not only customers out the door, but also the waitresses. I warned our waitress of him putting all the blame on the females that work there. I'm calling corporate Monday and I hope that something gets resolved so not only the customers have a more enjoyable time, but also the staff. Do better Twin Peaks read more

UPDATE: 4/19/25-Management reached out and was more than willing to rectify my bad visit (unlike other establishments who just comment and don't follow up) Stephanie was more than willing to get us scheduled in for a reservation on a Saturday at 5pm. Manager Doug came out and made sure our visit was nothing but smooth and good phenomenal! This time, we had no issues with them running out of Prosecco, and my husband enjoyed their house rum. Ordered the NY steak with mashed potatoes and asparagus. Let me TELL YOU, it was DELICIOUS! ordered medium rare, and it was the most delicious steak we have tasted. It felt like we had dined at a Ruth's chris. It was that good. Very juicy and tender. Definitely exceeded our expectations. I ordered their 6 piece bone in grilled and smoked wings. They were delicious! Had a great char grilled taste to them. Ordered their Buffalo and Thai chili sauce on the sauce it paired perfectly with the wings. Overall, I'm so thankful I was able to give them another chance. Food was phenomenal. Our waitress, "Bekah" (hopefully I spelled that right from what I saw), was friendly, efficient, and very attentive to our needs. We came on a Saturday at 5 pm, so a little before the dinner crowd, so we were not so busy. We will definitely be back to enjoy their laid-back atmosphere. read more
