I had the 12oz with fries and mushrooms, and my gf had the 14oz with a salad and baked potato! Both orders ca.e with their rolls and the honey butter! We sat there and waited for our order to be prepared! About 10 to 20 minutes later, our order was delivered to our car! The runner asked us to check the order to make sure it was correct! Our 50th anniversary was ruined here last week. Wife and I chose this restaurant to celebrate by sharing a BBQ Chicken and Ribs combo. Her chicken was delivered dry as a bone with no juicy meat. She should have sent it back but didn't. My side of ribs was delayed because the kitchen put bbq sauce on them and I requested a dry rub. 15 minutes later, the I was served the driest ribs I've ever tried to eat. I tried one bone and couldn't get the fork into the meat. It was over cooked and dry as leather. What is sad: The server noticed it was dry but served it anyway. Poor choice of restaurant to celebrate 50 years of marriage. Tip: If you are celebrating anything, try another steakhouse. First time dining at this location though I've been to others. I arrived around 11:45 am and was surprised to see a line already forming at the entrance. My family and I wanted to drop in for a quick lunch while out and about in the area. Though there was a line to get in, we did not wait long before the doors were opened. We were seated and received bread while waiting to order. Our waiter was timely and made sure drink refills were available before having to ask. Our rolls came out a bit hard and she had no issue bringing out a fresh batch. Once orders were in, we enjoyed some of their flavored lemonade options. Not too sweet and the perfect tang for me! I ordered sirloin with a side salad and loaded baked potato. The sides were both tasty. Due to my sirloin appearing mushy and tasting altogether weird, I cannot say I enjoyed the full dining experience. With two bites in, I knew I would not be enjoying this steak. The potato was filled with sour cream, butter, and cheese & topped with bacon. I really wanted a steak, so it is unfortunate that my order was not great. We ordered 20oz bone in ribeye. It was mostly grizzle. Out of 20 oz's maybe 3 oz was actually edible. The salad was wilted and the rolls were cold. Ask for butter and sour cream with cheese and bacon on the baked potato. There was no butter on this baked potato. The service was ok but not anything notable. We survived by eating the peanuts. You don't want to ever go here or I even imagine all Texas Roadhouses are pretty much the same. We will not be back. We eat all over the country and this was the worse meal we have ever experienced. read more

I love Texas Roadhouse. From their hot rolls to their delicious entrees, I have always enjoyed my meals there. The Concord location seems to be busy every time we go there and the parking lot was not built to support the amount of diners this restaurant can hold. Texas Roadhouse is a busy restaurant! Located near Concord Mills it's a great place to have a nice dinner. I was impressed how efficient they were getting customers seated timely. We didn't have to wait to get a table of 4. We had a great server,Tara, so our experience was all positive. They have many options to choose from. Whether it's a steak you are craving or some seafood, you will find it on the menu. I had the ribeye. The flavor was very good. They cooked it the way I asked. Paired with a sweet potato - I was set. It was a bit noisy inside. The volume of the music was, in my opinion too loud. But you take the good with the bad. You check out using a small device that sits at the end of the table. So efficient. I never have super high expectations for a chain. This was about my expectation... the food was okay. I got the filet because my hubs said it's hard to mess up that cut. Oh first of all, I'm gonna say that I love Texas roadhouse and I've ate at Texas roadhouse locations all over the United States due to my travel job. My first time here in Concord North Carolina we arrived about 615. It was very busy. About 30 minutes later, we sat down the waitress a young female did the best she could, but it was very busy. My coworker and I ordered. I ordered a 16 ounce sirloin with broccoli and a house salad 30 minutes later our food still was not served. Finally about 10 minutes later 40 minutes total our steaks arrived. My coworker got his meal, correct my steak was wrong while I was discussing this with the server our salads arrived so I ate my salad and my broccoli and they had to remake my steak. It arrived about 20 minutes later it was rare and I ordered it medium, but I was happy to eat the steak had some chewy parts and all in all our meal was marginal at best. read more

Most of the stuff you find in here can be disgusting disguised as edible food, but today I had the smokehouse burger and it was actually pretty good. Service is exceptional: Brittney was a great server! She knew the menu well, friendly, professional, and anticipated our needs well. She made herself visible in case we needed her as well as checked on us verbally. The manager stopped to check on us as well (Denise I think). She listened to my feedback and accommodated my request for 'hot sauce' other than Tabasco with a fabulous attitude. The host and hostess (Victoria) were wonderful in accommodating my Mom needing to sit as close to the door as possible. Victoria also noticed when we were getting up to leave and brought my Mom her walker. I could see the front door from where we sat and she kept the sweetest smile on her face the whole time. Just the person you want to see coming into a restaurant. They have lunch deals for $10.99 months-Thurs extending to Friday until 4pm. Now for those of you who eat more plant based than red meat but are with someone who is totally wanting steak--there's grilled shrimp, fried catfish and multiple chicken entrees. I had the catfish and it was good. I got marshmallows on my baked sweet potato. I've never had that option at a chain restaurant. In fact. It's rare to find a baked sweet potato on the menu. Mom enjoyed her ribs and green beans, she said the Mac n cheese was just ok. Note: 99 cents extra to get Mac cheese as a side. You can review the menu and pay at your table but if you need a regular menu you can ask for a to go menu. Don't let the packed parking lot fool you, the dining area is huge! This is a cool place for a relaxing bite to eat. This definitely a casual atmosphere. It can be a tad noisy. They give you a basket of rolls as soon as you sit down. Yummy! We ordered quickly. Today was a special occasion and we had 7 people celebrating. Our server was amazing, giving us as much time as we needed, and kept the roll bowls fresh for the boys! Everytime we go to Texas, we are never disappointed. We join the waitlist on the app so it's super convenient. We always get the 6 oz filet and its cook to perfection all the time. Parking is tight at the concord location, very small. Not enough parking but nice they offer extra across the street at the hotel. The parking at the Matthew's one is great, big and spacious. This is a very busy location. I visited on a Thursday evening and there were many families with children waiting to be seated. Of course, we also had to wait on a table. Once seated, service was prompt and our waiter continuously visited our table to check in. He also shared vast knowledge of the menu items. I had already eaten dinner (it was almost 9 PM when we were seated) and opted for dessert (brownie) and the standard Margarita. Both were delightful! Be warned - PARKING IS LIMITED and there is ALMOST ALWAYS A WAIT! Neighboring businesses did not have the same overflow (restaurants and hotels). The orders are generally correct and the food is always good. This place seems to always be very busy but they still take good care of us. I rarely write reviews but this time I had to. I go to this location once a week and my food is always perfect. Today I thought I was missing items and I told the young lady who brought me the food. She was going to have the manager come speak with me but I figured it would be faster to walk up and speak directly. I did all of this only to realize that the food was all there and correct I just assumed the boxes were packaged differently. Customer service is such a big deal for me and dealing with a bonehead such as myself she could have made me feel like an idiot but she didn't.
