7/8/2026 This place is LEGIT! It's our go to Chinese restaurant. We always get the General Tso chicken. It's freshly made. Place is clean. Take it from an Asian who grew up half white and half Chinese. I'm not related to them but they are so sweet, they feel like family. Quality and good sized portions is what you'll get! Here's what we also love! Sesame chicken. Chicken with Black Pepper Sauce. Beef with Broccoli. Crab Rangoon. Fried Wontons. Wonton Soup. I'll add pictures... First time ordering here. I didn't like the smell in there when I picked up the food so I was immediately turned off- smelled like sewer/not like food. Bathrooms were out of order so maybe a plumbing issue..?. And the food was whatever. I'll stick to my regular spots in the future. I was shopping at Harris Teeter so it was convenient to order but it's not for me. The chicken was slimy and we were grossed out. Didn't even finish. read more

Not sure what's going on with the Singapore Mei Fun noodles but this is the second Chinese restaurant my family and I have been to within the past 4-6 weeks and the curry that they use is just disgusting. read more

The food is horrible, the so called fried rice is looks to be steamed yellow rice, that is under seasoned. I can't speak on the service because I ordered from door dash or uber eats. The ambiance is also an unknown for the same reason. I would never recommend such bad tasting Chinese food to anyone! read more

This is the MOST DISGUSTING restaurant I've seen in a long time!! It is EXTREMELY dirty!! The booth tables have duct tape all over them, the seats are old and they look like they're covered in dirty, old curtains that are 'almost' tucked into the booth seats. The walls, floors, and basically every inch of this place looks like it has NEVER been cleaned!! The food is equally horrible!! The crab rangoon, sesame chicken, AND eggroll were ALL overcooked and tasted burnt!! The sesame chicken was also very tough and chewy!! I have also eaten inside and the environment was comfortable and friendly and I have taken a bunch of friends here after performances and the employees were so nice! Chong Chin always has fresh fried rice, vegetables are steamed perfectly and their won ton soup is delicious. Spring rolls are tasty and crispy. One of the better Chinese restaurants in Harrisburg but it's only take out since the pandemic. read more

I really hope someone opens a truly delicious chinese restaurant. Ordered takeout last Thursday-everything was awful. Meat was more like brown sponges. Won ton soup had a oily doughy taste, rice was pretty much only item we ate. $35 down the crapper-literally. There is no excuse for this much bad quality in food. Our favorite! We eat here once a week. Food is always hot and fresh. The boneless spare ribs and chicken with broccoli are our favorites.

Love this restaurant! The young lady behind the counter is always so sweet and will remember your order when she sees you (even if it's been months!). She's always sure to ask about your family and make sure everyone is doing okay. Very family-friendly and excellent food to boot! My kids travel over 30 minutes just to get this take out now that they've moved. read more

Food was not great. I just moved to the area from FL and needed food after a long day of unpacking. My General Tso Chicken didn't have the kick that I'm accustomed to from other Chinese establishments. The sauce was very thick and had jello like properties. The chicken was soggy like it had been sitting for a while. The fried rice didn't seem fried but instead baked, maybe not fried enough. The saving grace with the meal was the egg rolls. Maybe my expectations are too high but I've had some great Chinese from a similar restaurant in the recent past. I am likely not a repeat customer. read more

This place serves an insane amount of food that has been pretty good quality every time I've tried it. They deliver within four miles with a $15 minimum order. Given the lack of dining choices in this area, they can safely expect to get a decent amount of business from our clan. read more

We are new to the area and decided to try this place out. It seemed pretty busy from a take out stand point but The inside is dirty. Duct tape held a table top together. Nothing was good, not even the water. The seats had fabric draped on them, not even attached. The noodles were okay but none of the chicken dishes were good. This is our neighborhood Chinese takeout restaurant. They are fast, efficient, always give copious amounts in their portions, fairly priced, and dishes are very consistent in quality. The fried rice could be given a bit more thought as it too often tastes undercooked. read more

We have had Chong Chin on three occasions. The first time was excellent. The second time was meh. We ordered the same exact dishes, but I believe we got a different cook. The third time was excellent again. Their delivery guy is awesome. Super friendly. He always says helloooooooooo! with a big smile. He is the only delivery guy I've ever had that walked right into my house. He actually remembered us on the third visit. We had just closed on our house and moved to a new neighborhood. He gave me a hug saying congratulations. The only bad thing about him is that he never has a pen so make sure you do. LOL read more

Ate lunch at their Renaissance Drive location today. Food had little flavor--it's like nothing was distinct. Even the vegetables had little flavor. The beef and chicken were both strange: they were both sort of mushy and had none of the typical texture. We had their Subgum Pan Fried Noodles CHEF SPECIAL. The pan fried noodles seemed like they were freeze dried and then reconstituted. The people were quite pleasant and the service was good. It's a take-out place. They don't have normal plates or utensils. It's all Styrofoam plates, plastic bowls, and plastic forks, knives, and spoons. The food at Thai Emerald (in the Northcross center behind Target) is MUCH BETTER even though it's Thai food. Or you can go to the House of Taipei chinese restaurant just north of the 77 freeway at exit 25. Both are a little more expensive but well worth it! read more

My husband and I love this place for quick Chinese take out. Service is always fast and good. I usually get Beef & Broccoli and my husband like the Sesame Chicken and Crab Ragoons. Portion sizes are huge........always to much for us to finish. Great flavor of the brown sauce and fried rice. Not to crazy about the egg rolls but spring rolls are great! OMG. Got the Moo Shu Pork last week for my husband. He was violently ill that night and the entire next day. The kids and I had a chicken dish which was meh. But I would not recommend that place to anyone. Nice people, but it was obvious my poor husband had food poisoning from that dish. He had nothing else that day. read more
