Food was ordered online and I went to pick it up. Food took about 10 minutes and I could see them making it fresh in the back. So it was piping hot when received. It was flavorful and was even better when I warmed it the next day. Inside was clean but a little dark in the day but was fine. I took my food to go but customer service at the front desk was friendly.

The food was great! I can't remember the name of the meal, but instead of rice, I got noodles with chicken, shrimp and broccoli. Very good, but I forgot to order it extra spicy! When I go back next time, I won't forget. I have leftovers and can't wait to dig in. Thanks Fusion 108!

Fushion 108 is a hidden gem. We have been going here for years and love this place. The quality of the food is amazing and it truly does set the standard for American Asian food.

Rancid pork picked out of fried rice

I feel bad for leaving 1 star because our server was very kind. Unfortunately the food was not good at all. Both the egg drop and hot sour soup were flavorless and both were very gelatinous. The pork fried rice didn't have typical roasted pork, which is fine, except the pork it did have, smelled and tasted rancid. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Grabbed some Singapore noodles to go from here, after seeing them on Yelp. I pass by frequently, so decided to give them a try. I called in my order and it was ready 15 minutes later, the estimated time I was given. So that was a plus. Upon entering, it was fairly quiet in the restaurant at about 6:15pm, with two parties seated inside. I got to the counter, being kindly greeted, and checkout was very quick and easy. No complaints at all! It's located in the Rose Commons shopping center in Gilead Road in Huntersville. So there is plenty of parking around/in the area, as well as a host of other retailers. My review is more so based on the food. I LOVE Singapore noodles and outside of sticking to two other places in Charlotte, I decided to try Fusion 108's noodles. I hate to say it, but they were somewhat of a letdown. Most other places will typically include chicken, pork and shrimp in the noodles. However, Fusion gave you the option to choose only one protein with the dish or likely up-charge to add others. Additionally, the noodle dish was somewhat dry when I went to eat it. Hot from a temperature perspective, but dry noodles, that stuck together. It also depicted spicy for the heat level in the description, but I had absolutely no spice. I was hoping it would be a 3rd option for noodles, close to home! But overall, it was a let down for me. I may try some other options down the road, but likely not the Singapore noodles.

This is a tough review. I ordered using their online system, which they told me does not give accurate timing. So the wait was very long. But the food was good. Very good. With the long wait (over 90 min) I was hoping we wouldn't like the food so I could write it off. But it was really good. We will try again on a standard night (tonight was Christmas Eve).

    Spicy chicken and shrimp

First time eating there and my food was excellent. I got the spicy chicken and shrimp, the vegetables were cooked perfectly and not overcooked as they often are. Absolutely delicious.

Best Asian / Thai I've had in North Carolina! My fiancé and I both are from up north and it is hard to find great takeout. We are also big foodies and love to cook ourselves and appreciate great food. We just moved to Huntersville area (from Charlotte/South End) and we have been blown away by everything we have had. Also the customer service is excellent and the food is ready so quick! My favorite is pad Thai and he loves the spicy chicken and shrimp. The coconut soup is amazing! Definitely give this place a try!

I came to this place for lunch and it was not bad. I had pad Thai, which I probably wouldn't get again. It was fine, the sauce was just a tad on the sour side. It wasn't awful, just not my personal favorite. The ground up peanuts on top were really good. I also had the side salad, which had a ginger dressing on it. I liked that. My friend enjoyed her food and was pleasantly surprised. The service was fairly quick. The waitress was very nice.

Everything was really good! Portion size was huge and prices are very reasonable! When in town we would definitely come here again!

Kind of reminded me of the texture of spanakopita in a bun. They were generously filled and delicious. Yangzhou fried rice had a mix of scallops, shrimp, chicken and veggies. Portion was huge, husband could barely finish it. I ordered spicy wonton in chili oil, and mini spare ribs in black bean sauce dim sum. Loved them both. Seasonings and spice level were perfect. I'd order those again. We also got a selection of dumplings - pork and veggie shumai, steamed potstickers, and crystal shrimp dumplings. Loved all of them. I love the relaxed vibe here. Our server was attentive, professional and gave us space to enjoy our meal with minimum interruptions. We were greeted when we arrived and she waved goodbye when we left. While dining, I saw quite a number of takeout orders picked up by customers and dashers, which is something we'll definitely do in the future. The dining area and bar are in one big room with huge windows that make the space feel spacious and light. Even tho it's one big room, tables aren't crammed together. Music is low enough to talk at normal volume. We really enjoyed our first time here, plan to eat here again and highly recommend it if you haven't been.

I prefer full scale service, complete with nicely plated presentations, but this type of DIY eatery is just something that's becoming more common.

I went back to my car and looked up reviews before driving away. Most of the reviews were good. At that moment, I made a decision: "We're going in!" Even though 'we' is just me. Don't judge; I'm sure you do the same from time to time: consciously or subconsciously. I ordered a Quart of Wonton Soup (very exciting) and Roast Pork Lo Mein (pretty cool). The wait was 10-15 minutes and I paid ahead of time. It was $16 and change but the woman behind the counter stared with great anticipation if i would leave a tip. If I could go back, I wouldn't. For what? They're already marking up prices and this part was strange. Not a fan. Fortunately, the food was good. There were only five wontons (quart usually has 6-8) but it was very good!) The Roast Pork Lo Mein was also strong. It actually had too much Roast Pork for me. At this location, I might just get Chicken Lo Mein next time. It all started with missing white rice…read more I had been working all day and hadn't consumed Chinese food in about a year. I love Chinese food but I have been paying off debt like Al Capone wanted his loan-shark money back, which led to me going from 27.3k to currently 1.8k on my Discover within a year. This background is to let you know why I haven't been eating a lot of Chinese food. It has nothing to do with sodium. But this is about wonton soup, sesame chicken, lo mein, white rice, and a drunk guy (not me). All of the food items listed above were solid. And they are always solid across the board. I wouldn't put this restaurant as #1 for any of those individual items in Lake Norman but I do put them #1 for all food as a whole. In other words, Jin Jin has the best wonton soup but you only get four wontons and they aren't as good at other stuff, and it just doesn't seem as clean--Huang's Chef is impeccably clean. Huang's China Bistro in Cornelius has the best sesame chicken but their lo mein and wonton soup aren't quite as good (still very good though). Lotus on River Hwy (Rt 150) has the best lo mein but not quite as good on the other stuff (but still very good). Huang's Chef (Mooresville) is a solid 9.0 across the board so it's where I order most. But the time prior to this one, I drove all the way to Huntersville and they forgot my white rice. This isn't a major issue but it kind of does ruin the experience after spending $30 for one person on dinner. Fortunately, they gave me a free pint of wonton soup the next time I went in. I was so excited to eat their food again that I ordered when driving by and had to wait. While outside and thinking I was alone on the strip-mall sidewalk, I practiced pronouncing "Huang's Chef." In order to do it, you need to inhale 5% on the "Huah" sound and exhale 95% on the "Wang" sound. I was getting good at it and repeating, "Huah-Wang's Chef ... Huah-Wang's Chef" while pacing, but a dude from from Marty's Bar popped out to smoke a cigarette and looked at me funny. "Just practicing," I said while nodding to indicate all was normal. "For what?" he laughed. I could tell he was one of those friendly drunk guys. "Huah-Wang's Chef." He walked over to cut the distance between us in half and laughed while taking a drag of his cigarette. Tall and skinny guy mid-60s with scruff and loose clothes that fit his personality. "Huah-Wong's Chef," he said. "No," I corrected. "It's Wang." "No it ain't," he cackled. "It's Wong." "That would be the Cantonese version. That's not correct." "I don't eat cantaloupes." He just started cracked up at his own joke, which wasn't funny, but then funny because of how much he enjoyed it. Then he continued, "What if we just put it together and start our own Chinese restaurant called Wang-Wong!" Bar guys always talk about things like this but know they will never follow through, and I didn't want to start a Wang-Wong Chinese restaurant with a scruffy-looking drunk guy. I had the perfect out anyway because Huang's Chef told me 15 minutes and it was about that time. "Good to meet you, but I have to go get my food now at Huah-WANG'S Chef." "Wong!" he cackled again as I walked away. Anyway, I definitely recommend Huang's Chef. It's a good price with solid portions and quality taste across the board. The restaurant itself is one of the cleanest Chinese restaurants I have ever seen, which is always a good sign. Definitely recommended.
