This place is Amazing! We always pass by but never enter? I'm glad we did today. The place was empty so I walked out but than decided to come back in and I'm so glad we did. I lived in NYC for many years and I know about good Chinese food and this place has it. The portion of food are huge and delicious. The service is amazing!!!!! AAAA+++

This place is joke. So my wife and I went to Chia Bistro based on the reviews. Boy was that a mistake. I asked about items on the menu they don't have any knowledge about food and customer service. I have had Thai from several different restaurants in different cities, and this place is by far the worst! We walked in on a Saturday night. Restaurant was empty. The food is way under salted and under cooked. The quality isn't there. I would recommend people to skip over this place

So a few days ago noon rolled around and I found myself getting hungry. But I wanted something quick, cheap, and from someplace new. Chia Bistro came to mind so I tried to find their menu online to see if it was worth the drive there (not exactly around the corner from me), and of course for reviews! They have no info online, but I was able to find a small selection of positive reviews @ various sites. Needed gas anyway, so gathered up the children (dogs!) and headed out. Walked in around 12:30 & the place was empty, save one lone construction guy having lunch. That kinda thing usually raises an eyebrow, especially at the height of 'lunch hour," and even more so on a Friday. Browsed the menu & decided on the Hunan Chicken lunch combo ($6.01 w/tax). While the lady that took my order wasn't exactly what I would deem "friendly" by any stretch, I did like that she didn't give me any lip when I asked for double rice instead of the obligatory egg roll, and to only have broccoli, carrots & water chestnuts, so that earned a star. There is a rather large waiting area at the entrance, with plenty of seating available. More restaurants should follow suit. The dining area was on the smallish side, with maybe 10 or 12 tables, so that keeps things a smidge intimate. Décor was pretty inviting, without the expected explosion of kitsch. One review I read online said that portion sizes were humongous. Maybe this was an off day, but my portion was far from humongous. I was surprised at how LITTLE they gave me. VERY small amount of chicken & veggies, and two miniscule scoops of rice (more like glorified tablespoons). Lotus Express just down the way from my house gives twice that easily, if not more! But I wasn't starving, so I thought if was that yummy I would get over the portion size. I probably won't be back unless someone else is treating. As we all know you can order the same dish at five different Chinese restaurants and it will completely different at each one. That's what sets them apart from their neighbors. But this had the strangest flavor to it. The chicken itself was cooked well, but the Hunan sauce had THE STRANGEST flavor. I'm not sure how to describe it really. Kind of a "cooking-class-gone-wrong" flavor. **insert inside-out face here** And that rice. They call it fried rice. Not exactly. I've never seen rice such a dubious shade of brown or unusual texture. And that oily taste. Ick. Been there, tried that. I can cross Chia Bistro off my bucket list....and my list in general . :)

The fried rice is just rice with sauce, no egg. Not sure why this place has a better score than hunan park which is way better.

It's a little drive from where she stays--not too far, but absolutely worth it. The food is always fresh and consistently delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming every time we visit. I normally go for my usual favorites: shrimp fried rice, wings, and an egg roll. My sister likes to get the egg drop soup, and my mom usually enjoys the shrimp fried rice as well. There's something comforting about the combination of flavors and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this spot because you truly will not be disappointed. It's the kind of place where every visit feels like a little treat, and the food always leaves you satisfied and coming back for more.

Kind of reminded me of the texture of spanakopita in a bun. They were generously filled and delicious. Yangzhou fried rice had a mix of scallops, shrimp, chicken and veggies. Portion was huge, husband could barely finish it. I ordered spicy wonton in chili oil, and mini spare ribs in black bean sauce dim sum. Loved them both. Seasonings and spice level were perfect. I'd order those again. We also got a selection of dumplings - pork and veggie shumai, steamed potstickers, and crystal shrimp dumplings. Loved all of them. I love the relaxed vibe here. Our server was attentive, professional and gave us space to enjoy our meal with minimum interruptions. We were greeted when we arrived and she waved goodbye when we left. While dining, I saw quite a number of takeout orders picked up by customers and dashers, which is something we'll definitely do in the future. The dining area and bar are in one big room with huge windows that make the space feel spacious and light. Even tho it's one big room, tables aren't crammed together. Music is low enough to talk at normal volume. We really enjoyed our first time here, plan to eat here again and highly recommend it if you haven't been.

We tried multiple dishes, my wife tried a won ton and chili oil and the dough was absolutely murdered. It was just falling apart soft and there was no texture and really there was barely any filling. It's a hard pass on those considering this is a dim sum place. My chicken and broccoli with garlic sauce was really tasty, but the proportions were off, way too much broccoli and not enough chicken. Also, it did not come with rice. You had to order that extra which I think is a little sad. My wife had a noodle dish with shrimp and she said it was excellent. Overall, we're definitely gonna give them another try, but not anytime soon. They have potential, but need to polish things. On the way out, my wife did get a bubble tea and she thought that it was really good! To those about to nosh, we salute you!

I went back to my car and looked up reviews before driving away. Most of the reviews were good. At that moment, I made a decision: "We're going in!" Even though 'we' is just me. Don't judge; I'm sure you do the same from time to time: consciously or subconsciously. I ordered a Quart of Wonton Soup (very exciting) and Roast Pork Lo Mein (pretty cool). The wait was 10-15 minutes and I paid ahead of time. It was $16 and change but the woman behind the counter stared with great anticipation if i would leave a tip. If I could go back, I wouldn't. For what? They're already marking up prices and this part was strange. Not a fan. Fortunately, the food was good. There were only five wontons (quart usually has 6-8) but it was very good!) The Roast Pork Lo Mein was also strong. It actually had too much Roast Pork for me. At this location, I might just get Chicken Lo Mein next time. But I have been seeing more TikToks with chickens on farms and they're pretty chill so maybe just Lo Mein. I would eat from here again. Hope that helped!

It lacked soul and that authentic Thai touch. The house noodles were pale and bland, with shrimp that added little to no flavor. The Bangkok chicken was overly sweet and tasted like it came straight from a bottle. The fish with chili was also strange--several dishes had lettuce mixed in, which felt out of place and didn't work with the flavors. Overall, it's hard to describe the taste, but it reminded me of a slightly better version of P.F. Chang's rather than real Thai cuisine and it's not even the same cuisine. That's the best thing I can compare it to. Service - 4/5 The staff was friendly, and my pickup order was quick and efficient. One downside was that I wasn't asked about spice level when ordering. I didn't even know they used a 1-5 scale until I overheard another customer's order, which was disappointing. Overall I wouldn't return. I'd rather drive an extra 10-15 minutes for a more authentic Thai meal with real depth, culture, and flavor. For 75$ I hardly feel it was worth it.
