We live in Old South neighborhood of Concord and this is our go-to Chinese place. General Tso's chicken is bomb and my wife love chicken with vegetables. Service is great and very friendly. Ambiance is kinda non-existent with maybe three tables in the dining room -- may have been more at one time but not sure.

Yup. This my new favorite spot now. I've been here 3 times this week and I'm not ashamed. I call in my order each time for pickup and within 10 mins my food is ready. I had chicken wings w/ pork fried rices and Chicken n broccoli with pork fried rice and both were slamming!! The chicken wings were something special, hot and seasony. I didn't even care I was burning my tongue . Not many stores opened in the plaza this restaurant is located but that's okay. They seem to be doing just fine. I'm looking forward to trying more things from their menu

I usually order from this place but for some reason today they messed up my food. I found black pebbles and specks in my shrimp Lo mein. I also ordered shrimp eggs and got pork. The shrimp Lo mein itself was dry. I will not be returning back due to this poor order and I would not recommend.

Favorite place in Concord for Chinese take out. Normally end up ordering extra egg rolls because they're pretty tasty. Also a fan of their crab rangoon as an appetizer. Only strange happening - once I couldn't remember the name for Kung Pao chicken, so when I called I asked: "What's the spicy one with peanuts?" "Oh, you must mean cashew chicken!" Um, no. BUT, the food is good and fast, staff is always friendly.

We moved to the area earlier this year. This is by far the best Chinese food in the area. I will return.

I got a small chicken lo mien and boneless spareribs. The lo mien was as good. I forgot to ask for dumpling/ginger sauce for additional flavor. If you haven't asked for a side of their sauce, please try it. It adds a lot of flavor to the meal, rice, lo mien, etc. I was very disappointed in the boneless spare ribs. The meat was not good. The marinade or whatever that was did not resemble spare ribs. In fact, it was so dry I had to spit it out. This is a busy take out place so I am hopeful the ribs were a one off - albeit I will never order them again.

I don't know what is going on with Chinese food spots, in America but the equality is below subpar and this location isn't far from it. How does a person order sesame seed chicken, and receive what tasted like old chicken, hard an un-chewable and above all else a mystery as to what part of the bird, dark or white? but that's not the worse part how do these Chinese food locations such as this. have sesame seed chicken swimming in fluid, which I would assume is sauce, but really is more like water. That's not how you make sesame seed chicken, sesame seed should be lightly crispy and very tender and juicy. it's should have a rich flavorful sauce bright in color. As for the order of sesame I bought, which was the large or the dinner size took a few bites after I got home and threw the whole thing in the trash it was a complete waste of money. The fantail shrimp over fried and greasy. I told my partner who came with me that this was one of the better spots, but after that evening, I would never take her back nor would I give anybody reference to this location? The food can be better. I know it can be better. Sometimes they hit the order right out the park with good quality but unfortunately and more often than not, it's the same poor quality Chinese food that you get at 8 out of 10 restaurants that you will find in your city or local area lacking of any type of passion in the kitchen, run-of-the-mill menu and nothing to desire other than people who live around the area looking for something better to eat then a typical McDonald's or fast food joint with the belief that they're going to get a better grade or quality of food. I cool, and I cook very well! i also pay great money for good food! I've eaten at Gordon Ramseys Hells kitchen chain in DC, to Capital Grille in charlotte just last week. From great home cooking. I know good food this isn't it.

Looking for fast and friendly service? Say no more. Hibachi pit is the perfect lunch spot for when you want to grab a quick bite with huge portions. You can customize your meal making it as healthy or unhealthy as you want it to be. I ordered the rice bowl with crispy chicken and the sweet and spicy sauce. The sauces all come on the side in a small cup, but you can ask for more. There was so much chicken in my bowl, and plenty of rice and veggies to go along with it. The chicken was on par with most fast casual places. I did need to use lots of sauce though to get more flavor out of the bowl. It's nothing that will blow your mind, but it's a good staple to have in your lunch rotation! The price is really fair too, you get what you pay for.

We visited Hibachi Pit in Concord to celebrate Team Appreciation Week. Since we are big fans of…read moretheir affiliate, The Smoke Pit, we had high hopes for the food quality--and they did not disappoint! Our party of 8 had a bit of a bumpy start. We were crowded around the entrance for a while without much direction until I checked in; they have a policy of not seating until the entire party arrives (6 of us were there, awaiting 2). Once the full group was present, though, we were seated promptly. Our server was excellent--very polite and on top of things. Even when two of our orders came out wrong, the server corrected the mistakes so quickly it didn't disrupt the meal at all. The food quality is definitely where this place shines: * Portion Sizes: Massive. As you can see from the photos, the trays are packed to the edges with rice, noodles, and protein. * Quality: The steak was tender and the shrimp was cooked perfectly. You can tell they care about the quality of their meat. * Affiliation: Knowing they are connected to The Smoke Pit gave us high expectations for the proteins, and they lived up to the name. While it might not be the absolute best hibachi I've ever had, the combination of great service, huge portions, and solid food quality makes it an easy recommendation. It's a great spot for a group--just make sure your whole party arrives at the same time!
