This is my second time eating here and I was not as impressed as the other time. A few things wouldn't allow me to give 5 . First, my General So Chicken was fried to hard. I had time chew the chicken, the spring roll had a unpleasant unfamiliar taste( could have been the oil). The pork lo mein was pretty good and the fried dumplings were just okay. Again, I was so surprised because the first time everything was perfect. I will give them another try. The service was friendly as always and the ambiance is a basic Chinese restaurant with a few chairs read more

Jin Jin - Chinese Near Me - Huntersville, North Carolina

Whenever I'm in Charlotte and in the mood for Chinese food, one of the first places I ask my sister to take me is Jin Jin's. It's a little drive from where she stays--not too far, but absolutely worth it. The food is always fresh and consistently delicious, and the staff is friendly and welcoming every time we visit. I normally go for my usual favorites: shrimp fried rice, wings, and an egg roll. My sister likes to get the egg drop soup, and my mom usually enjoys the shrimp fried rice as well. There's something comforting about the combination of flavors and the warm, inviting atmosphere of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this spot because you truly will not be disappointed. It's the kind of place where every visit feels like a little treat, and the food always leaves you satisfied and coming back for more. read more

Ordered cashew chicken, got a bowl of uncooked celery and carrots instead. Fried chicken wings was lacking flavor, and beef lo ming left a lot to be desired. Spring rolls were alright, and pricing wasn't horrible. read more

Hands down the best General Tso around this area. Coming from NY I've looked far and wide, even willing to drive 30+ minutes for that sweet, crispy, tender General Tso Chicken we all know and love. Lucky for me Jin Jin is right here in Huntersville. Also the woman who works the counter (owner?) is super nice and always welcoming and friendly. Love the food, love the staff, easy 5 stars for Jin Jin. read more

Tasted fine, pretty good and reasonable prices but three starts because my order was wrong. I ordered chicken lo mein from their website, rang up as chicken chow mein and received pork fried riced with a scoop of chop suey. There was no lo or chow in it. The egg roll and no-crab rangoons were okay. Still not a bad place for lunch. read more

Our absolute favorite Chinese restaurant; we have been going there for years and years. The service is always so nice and the food is very consistent and always hot and fresh. We usually get about $90 food for a family if 4 and we get about 3 days of dinner out of it. Favorites include the pork fried rice, General Tso chicken, chow mei fun, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, and spring rolls. I also love that they have Chicken Chow Mein - you can't find that dish very frequently. We usually use the online order option and have done both the asap & set time options. Great value for price. read more

Best Chinese take-out in the Charlotte area! Their food is delicious and the owners/staff are so kind and friendly. I sat and watched them share their own food with customers after being asked what they were eating. Great food, great vibe! read more

I ordered delivery through door dash maybe 20 minutes prior to them closing. The food is hit or miss. We got one dinner plate, two egg rolls, and a small shrimp lo mein. The sesame chicken was great but our pork fried rice tasted burnt. Definitely was disgusting. The lo mein was dry but it wasn't bad. The best part were the egg rolls. They do not offer dine in at the moment. Either delivery or order at the window. The small lo mein is extremely small for the price but I'm from the south and our small containers are larger. read more

Jin Jin is my #1 go to for Chinese food in the area! Over a year ago, I saw great reviews for Jin Jin and had to try them out...they did not disappoint! I'm typically a creature of habit, so I normally get the same things. But with all 4-6 items that I get (mix and match), they are always on point! Jin Jin is located in Huntersville, close to many other establishments such as Publix, Woodie's Auto, Wells Fargo, etc. They have a great pandemic setup (cannot go into the restaurant), with a kiosk/window for pickups and ordering. Whether you call in or order at the window, the staff is great, friendly and always gets the order right. Try them out and you will not be disappointed with service or taste! read more

This was my first time eating from here and I must say the food was pretty good. I usually don't like the yellow version of Chinese rice but this was good! Very tasty! We waited a good 15-20 minutes on food.... I guess that's about average when your food is being cooked to order. We ordered the norm wings and fried rice....and I always get extra duck sauce. Because you must put duck sauce on everything!! read more

Jin Jin - Chicken broccoli, Sesame Chicken, fried rice, egg roll - Chinese Near Me - Huntersville, North Carolina

Great food but you better catch them before they close because they don't play about when it's time to go it's time to go lol

I didn't realize how hard it is to find an egg roll without pork around my side of town but thankfully after a few calls I found Jin Jin and crossed my fingers as I attempted to satisfy this craving. They're currently set up for window only orders during the pandemic. The menu is pretty extensive and is very similar to the chinese spots we have back in VA. I ordered 2 shrimp egg rolls and a veggie fried rice(broccoli, onions, carrots, mushrooms) and thankfully the rolls hit the spot and the rice would have been great but there was lots of grease at the bottom of the container. I actually returned the following week for more shrimp egg rolls, they were really good. The reviews are pretty mixed so I'm not ready to try anything else at the moment. read more

I have never done a review like this before. I'm writing the first half of the review before I eat the food. I ordered General Tso's Chicken with white rice and a quart of Wonton Soup. I love Chinese food but don't eat it much because there aren't many great options in the area. Jin Jin used to be a good option, but their blinds being crooked for years turned me off. On the other hand, it's impeccably clean inside, and I have a broken blind in my house (not viewable from street), so I can't judge. The last time ate Jin Jin was on my son's birthday (4/21). That was Sesame Chicken with white rice, Lo-Mein, and Wonton Soup. I wasn't impressed that day, but I had birthday cake on my mind. Will continue this review at home after eating. Update: General Tso's Chicken: Very Good Wonton Soup: Pretty Good White Rice: It's white rice Noodles: Some were stale Service: Friendly Blinds: Crooked A generous 4. read more

Always good. Always. There is only one place to go for quick Chinese and Jin Jin's is it.

This place is a solid 3 stars and good for takeout. Eggrolls and wings are good. Chicken and broccoli, lo mein, wonton soup, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken are all good and won't disappoint but they're not fantastic. House fried rice could be better, tends to taste a bit like burnt oil. Service is a little rude and place is not the neatest looking, lots of cardboard boxes laying around the corners. It's located by a recruiting office, drug test clinic and dance studio. Overall okay. read more

Solid spot for Chinese takeout. In 15 minutes our order was ready. Boneless spare ribs reminded me of Chinese back home. Soups (wonton egg drop and hot & sour) were all very good. Also ordered the moo goo gai pan and found it to be a traditional Chinese dish executed well. 4 of 5 stars, only because egg rolls were not crispy. read more

Everything was as good as they could make it boneless ribs were super tough the beef and broccoli had me saying where is the beef. Lo-mien was plain needed more flavor but all and all it was Chinese the best they can do in this area. read more

I don't quite get the hype that everybody else gives this place so far, but I'm a sucker for good cheap Americanized Chinese food. So, they can still get the 4 stars. When I say cheap, it isn't quite as cheap as some other places. I think my lunch combo was like $6.50 and it wasn't a ton of food. That is still super cheap in general, but not compared to my usual. Chicken with mixed vegetables, extra spicy, no baby corn is always my first go to when I visit a place. You get to see the actual pieces of chicken unlike something like general tso's. It was good, but not great. The sauce was a little bland. The broccoli was certainly above what you would expect from "cheap Chinese", but nothing else really stood out. Although I live 10 miles away, I like shopping at that Harris Teeter and don't always want Yoshi's grill. So, I'll certainly be back to try more. read more

Such a waste of money. Every dish was terrible. From the teriyaki chicken skewers that were as dry as beef jerky, to the shrimp mei fun that tasted like they tossed it with spicy chili sauce, and the fried rice that was blank and undercooked. Avoid this place. read more

I'm not a huge fan of Chinese food for various reasons, cleanliness being one of them. However this place seemed different. For starters they have an open kitchen where you can see everything they do which is always a good thing, and their ventilation system is great because we didn't leave there smelling like food. The service is fast and the prices are reasonable. The food was perfect! It hasn't been easy finding authentic food here in North Carolina, but this is authentic Chinese food! The wonton soup was delicious! As was their pork fried rice. We also tried the dumplings and the spare ribs and we were not disappointed. I would definitely return to fill my Chinese food cravings. read more

I'm typically scared to eat Chinese food in Charlotte because There are not many good Chinese spots. Also it's even more hard to find Chinese restaurants that serve shrimp egg rolls. Standard fare Chinese, however, custom made to my taste. I has the Chicken with mixed vegetables made spicy. It was cooked fresh and served hot! The restaurant is small, only 5 tables but very clean. The staff was friendly and quick. The meals are served in plastic bowls with plastic ware, I prefer to get glass plates and silverware. The food was delicious and I would go back again. read more
