Our absolute favorite Chinese restaurant; we have been going there for years and years. The service is always so nice and the food is very consistent and always hot and fresh. We usually get about $90 food for a family if 4 and we get about 3 days of dinner out of it. Favorites include the pork fried rice, General Tso chicken, chow mei fun, sesame chicken, pork fried rice, and spring rolls. I also love that they have Chicken Chow Mein - you can't find that dish very frequently. We usually use the online order option and have done both the asap & set time options. I ordered delivery through door dash maybe 20 minutes prior to them closing. The food is hit or miss. We got one dinner plate, two egg rolls, and a small shrimp lo mein. The sesame chicken was great but our pork fried rice tasted burnt. Definitely was disgusting. The lo mein was dry but it wasn't bad. The best part were the egg rolls. They do not offer dine in at the moment. Either delivery or order at the window. Jin Jin is my #1 go to for Chinese food in the area! Over a year ago, I saw great reviews for Jin Jin and had to try them out...they did not disappoint! I'm typically a creature of habit, so I normally get the same things. But with all 4-6 items that I get (mix and match), they are always on point! This was my first time eating from here and I must say the food was pretty good. I usually don't like the yellow version of Chinese rice but this was good! Very tasty! I didn't realize how hard it is to find an egg roll without pork around my side of town but thankfully after a few calls I found Jin Jin and crossed my fingers as I attempted to satisfy this craving. They're currently set up for window only orders during the pandemic. The menu is pretty extensive and is very similar to the chinese spots we have back in VA. I ordered 2 shrimp egg rolls and a veggie fried rice(broccoli, onions, carrots, mushrooms) and thankfully the rolls hit the spot and the rice would have been great but there was lots of grease at the bottom of the container. I actually returned the following week for more shrimp egg rolls, they were really good. The reviews are pretty mixed so I'm not ready to try anything else at the moment. read more

I have never done a review like this before. I'm writing the first half of the review before I eat the food. I ordered General Tso's Chicken with white rice and a quart of Wonton Soup. I love Chinese food but don't eat it much because there aren't many great options in the area. Jin Jin used to be a good option, but their blinds being crooked for years turned me off. On the other hand, it's impeccably clean inside, and I have a broken blind in my house (not viewable from street), so I can't judge. The last time ate Jin Jin was on my son's birthday (4/21). Chicken and broccoli, lo mein, wonton soup, sesame chicken, and sweet and sour chicken are all good and won't disappoint but they're not fantastic. House fried rice could be better, tends to taste a bit like burnt oil. Service is a little rude and place is not the neatest looking, lots of cardboard boxes laying around the corners. I don't quite get the hype that everybody else gives this place so far, but I'm a sucker for good cheap Americanized Chinese food. So, they can still get the 4 stars. When I say cheap, it isn't quite as cheap as some other places. I think my lunch combo was like $6.50 and it wasn't a ton of food. That is still super cheap in general, but not compared to my usual. Chicken with mixed vegetables, extra spicy, no baby corn is always my first go to when I visit a place. You get to see the actual pieces of chicken unlike something like general tso's. It was good, but not great. The sauce was a little bland. The broccoli was certainly above what you would expect from "cheap Chinese", but nothing else really stood out. Although I live 10 miles away, I like shopping at that Harris Teeter and don't always want Yoshi's grill. So, I'll certainly be back to try more. read more

For starters they have an open kitchen where you can see everything they do which is always a good thing, and their ventilation system is great because we didn't leave there smelling like food. The service is fast and the prices are reasonable. The food was perfect! It hasn't been easy finding authentic food here in North Carolina, but this is authentic Chinese food! The wonton soup was delicious! As was their pork fried rice. We also tried the dumplings and the spare ribs and we were not disappointed.
