I hadn't eaten here for about a decade but I was in the area so gave it a shot. At first, I wasn't going to give it a shot because there is a beat-up printer paper on the door--usually not a good sign. I went back to my car and looked up reviews before driving away. Most of the reviews were good. At that moment, I made a decision: "We're going in!" Even though 'we' is just me. Don't judge; I'm sure you do the same from time to time: consciously or subconsciously. I ordered a Quart of Wonton Soup (very exciting) and Roast Pork Lo Mein (pretty cool). The wait was 10-15 minutes and I paid ahead of time. It was $16 and change but the woman behind the counter stared with great anticipation if i would leave a tip. If I could go back, I wouldn't. For what? They're already marking up prices and this part was strange. Not a fan. Fortunately, the food was good. There were only five wontons (quart usually has 6-8) but it was very good!) The Roast Pork Lo Mein was also strong. It actually had too much Roast Pork for me. At this location, I might just get Chicken Lo Mein next time. But I have been seeing more TikToks with chickens on farms and they're pretty chill so maybe just Lo Mein. I would eat from here again. Hope that helped! read more

Ordered Cashew Chicken. I had to dig around all of the chopped celery and carrot that filled 3/4 of bowl to find the chicken and very few cashew pieces. If you like sautéed carrot and celery, then order Cashew Chicken. If you like Cashew Chicken, order from elsewhere. Egg rolls were meh, more doughy wrap than filling. Pretty sure most of their business is takeout, but we ate in. I had sweet and sour chicken combo (included rice and an egg roll). Egg roll was a little disappointing, but the chicken was cooked perfectly (as was the fried rice I chose). So wished I read the reviews before ordering. The Sesame chicken was very mushy and a very small portion. It was boxed in with rice. Therefore you're paying for a half order of sesame chicken, egg roll was completely soggy and inedible, fried rice had dry egg and was not fried rice. The wonton soup was 3/4 filled up very salty, no garnishments, will never order from this restaurant again. I am disgusted by the price they charged and giving a lunch size portion of Sesame Chicken. Just so sad that DoorDash has them online. This is not the quality I expect. It is insane that they give you the Sesame chicken only as a half a portion. Not enough more than one person. read more

A young energetic and articulate man greeted us and took our order. It only took about 10 minutes to receive our order and it was announced clearly from behind a well used (or dirty?) sheet of plexiglass. We had Chicken in Garlic Sauce, Orange Chicken and Chicken Lo Mien. The food was seasoned ok, but seemed to have been cooking together a bit too long and unfortunately the vegetables had surrender to a limp and squishy texture. Best take-out and delivery in an area with many crappy options. Food is hot and tasty. Not true "authentic", but this is Huntersville and not Guangzhou. No MSG. Least greasy option in the area (and I've tried everything from South Park to Mooresville). If you want the grease, go to NY Restaurant in Cornelius. I have had issues with receiving the wrong order. They don't help if you just call and complain. But, if you return to the store, they will make it right. Yes, this defeats the purpose of delivery, but it was better than tossing $65 of food. I'm not a fan of their egg rolls as they are too soft and bland. Maybe it is the lack of grease. Their ribs are better than most. Their fried rice is good and lightweight, the way rice should be. I'd like it better if they put more veggies and pork in it. If you want heavily sauced and/or greasy rice, try Jin Jin or NY Restaurant. We've only tried a handful of dishes and all were good. The general sauce on un-breaded chicken was yummy. Ask for it as it is not on the menu. They've been accommodating, but we didn't ask for special orders during peak time. This is pretty much your standard run-of-the-mill Chinese food joint. Best for lunch - spend around $5 for a more than filling meal in an environmentally unfriendly styrofoam takeout box. Dinners are at least twice the price though so I'd advise strongly against it. Watch out for the chairs. We found a broken one that was ready to eat my girlfriend alive. Staff is generally friendly and helpful. They have the usual tip bucket that pressures you to feel required to leave a tip. At places like this just remember it really is not required. No need to feel that pressure. To wrap it up, I was just having a need for a Chinese trash food fix on the weekend and this place was walking distance from home. read more

Everything had a weird taste and we actually had to spit out the egg and spring rolls. The beef pepper steak was rancid and inedible. When I called Danny to tell him he told me to call DoorDash and tell them. Unfortunately, we had an acutely mediocre experience and would not recommend to anyone. The girl who prepared packing my food today, were speaking loudly towards her coworkers on top of my food without her mask. They left me a voicemail stating they would refund it and needed my card number. I called today. The "manager" told me that he would not refund it now unless I drove to the store. I asked him what changed. On the voicemail, they said they would refund the 1 item (all was gross and high in MSG and sodium). He informed me "I don't care", and that this was the policy. Moved down from the Big Apple where there are thousands of Chinese restaurants. So I'm pretty picky. I never get delivery but they do deliver. The person on the phone took my order and got it right. He said 15 minutes and was right on the money. Wonton soup was very good. Large order of ribs is very good. They were cooked very well and VERY meaty. They were also very soft so easy to eat. The dinner combo- General Chicken, that's what they call also good. We order all white meat chicken, $1 extra. There wasn't an abundance of breading on it so we could taste the chicken. The egg roll wasn't bad but nothing to write home about. It's too small to split. Not worth fighting for. We asked for the fried rice which was ok but seemed like just brown rice.
