Understand I come from a MEastern heritage. Hummus was probably the best part of the meal. Creamy. Basic flavourful. The chicken was rubbery, the beef tough side and the kafta lacked seasoning. Falafel was like nothing I have tasted authentically.normally the inside is greenish from the parsley. This was not. Had fava beans. Not authentic where I am a from. Tabouleh was a zero. I arrived just in time before the lunch rush so I was able to order quickly and sit down to enjoy my meal. The gyro was delicious, but I wasn't a super fan of the tzatziki sauce. It was a chicken dish and very very good. We loved the potatoes and the hummus was fresh and delicious. The chicken and beef was very good as well. We would definitely return and order the potatoes and chicken special. The food you see in this photo plus a side of potatoes and a few falafel appetizer bites was $47. 4 stars only because there was room for improvement with the ordering screen cleanliness, the soda machine had some items out of order, and the utensils bent when cutting food. Food is good and is made to order pretty quickly. Only bad thing i would say is they close at very random times of the day without notifying the public. My only suggestion would be if you're going to close for lunch or short staff, make sure your website and google know that too. Because wasting time to drive 15mins for doors to be locked (on a Thursday @3pm) but the sign on the door says Open Mon-Fri @11am-9pm, is very much an inconvenience and nobody wants to waste gas or wait an hour for food. It would be great if the staff here could communicate clearly. I simply wanted a beef shish kabob to go. The girl at the register and the cook didn't know understand. I showed them a picture they had on their menu. She thought I wanted a wrap. Then she said, oh you want the platter. I mean really, is it that hard? This is definitely one of the worst places I have been too for Mediterranean food. I have lived in the north east and have had some of the best and this place was so below every Mediterranean place I have been too. I had the chicken shawarma and it was so disgusting that after 2 bites I had to throw it out, I went here a long time ago and didn't have a good experience and wanted to try it again and it failed miserably. You can even see all the bread that they are using is not fresh and pulled straight out of plastic bags. Do not go here, I don't understand why there are any good reviews for this place. read more

This restaurant is so good! It has Mediterranean/Lebanese food and it super authentic! I stumbled upon it while looking for a good, quick lunch. To my surprise, it was PACKED! That was a good sign because it meant the food was good. As the sign said - authentic, fresh and healthy. The staff was beyond friendly and helpful when trying to figure out what to order! There is a good amount of seating inside between tables and high-tops. There is a cool wall mural map as well. During the lunch time rush, the line gets long, but goes pretty quickly and the food comes out quickly as well. It's located in the Earth Fare shopping center, so there is plenty of parking. I usually get the beef or the chicken shawarma combo meal. Fantastic food! The seasoning on these fries mixed with some spicy garlic sauce is a winning combination! Then can we talk about this wrap???!!!! It is seasoned TO THE GODS!!!! Absolutely amazing! Three stars because the service was fast and the baba was good. It wasn't bad, but the servings were small and not as expected. Overall, I don't understand the hype. Given the other Mediterranean options in the area, I would not go back. Per the picture, the baba appetizer was served with one very thin pita. That is not an appetizer. The salad had one single olive and little feta. It was advertised as a salad with feta cheese and olives. It was chocked full of cucumber, which I don't like. Zeitouni Grill is a hidden gem in the Toringdon Market Strip Mall. I've been out to this area several times but never really shopped area in the area. I'm so glad I found Zeitouni Grill on Yelp's Top 100 from 2018. During my visit the restaurant was busy but not super busy. My group was able to find a table and easily place an order. The atmosphere is very casual and family friendly. I can tell they have loads of regulars. I ordered the Gyro Platter with Babba Ghanouj and Falafel. I judge Mediterranean restaurants hard core on their falafel and theirs passed with flying colors. The falafel had great crunch and amazing flavor. The gyro meat also was very flavorful! The basically melts in your mouth. I was overwhelmed with the portions and had to take a good amount home. I was hoping that my meal came out on one of the wooden boards but it didn't. Only a couple of the platters come out in those boards but the cashier I believe her name was Katie said she would take care of me next time! Have to update - these folks are STILL killing it. Food is by far the freshest, tastiest and always consistent. They're accommodating when it comes to changing things or substituting and I cannot get enough babaghanoush! What do they do to their chicken to make it so tender?!? Having a business lunch with a coworker and he recommended ZG. I'm a huge fan of gyros (lamb beef) so you don't need to convince me very much. Staff was very helpful in placing the order using their touch screen. Food came out in maybe 5-10 mins. This is a well known location as it got pretty packed around noon. My coworker mentioned getting there at 11:40am and glad we did lol. I will say the place got a tad bit warm at one point as more people came in so I recommend not sitting by the window. It's in the small details like the fresh thin bread, the garlic sauce that is just right, the pickles that taste exactly like "our own". I Yelped this place and had to give it a try based on my fellow Yelpers reviews. Once again I wasn't disappointed. This place had some great sandwiches. For anyone trying Mediterranean or "middle eastern" for the first time, chicken shawarma is always a safe introduction. That's usually what I try first at all these restaurants. This place has all the standard options you would want. Their shawarma and all the ingredients seemed fresh and very flavorful. The baba ghanouj is good and smoky, the tabbouleh is bright and fresh, and the grape leaves well-balanced between savory and acidic. So Zeitouni is one of my favorite places. My husband and I get dinner here about once a week. They make it so easy to order from their website so I just place the order when I am leaving work and it is ready for my pickup when I arrive. I haven't eaten in the restaurant yet but every interaction I've had with the employees when I pick my food up has been positive. We have worked our way down the menu and although everything is good we have some favorites that we always seem to come back to. Those are: gyros, potato harra, zataar, and shish tawooq. You can't go wrong with anything you order but you will be super happy with those items. read more
