I had been eyeing this spot for a while, and finally made time to stop in. It's really nothing special, but my food was tasty. The staff was friendly and answered my questions while I ordered. It didn't take too long to get my order out. I had my food to go so didn't really get to look around the restaurant overall. I don't feel my bowl was worth $15. It was just an overall okay experience. I think that's what you can expect from most quick stop in spots like this. Would still visit again for something quick and relatively healthy. read more

This review is for takeout only although from what I've seen, this is a nice space with lots of seating on the inside and several tables outdoors as well.. I've ordered here three times in the past month and will probably continue to do so because it hasn't failed me once and turned into a reliable option in the food-starved Matthews area. So I get the chicken kebabs each time with fries (although I'm considering the lamb burger next time) and it just hits the spot. The chicken is nicely grilled with just the right amount of char and the fries come in different seasonings--none of which have disappointed me so far. If I have one complaint, it's that I wish they had more dipping sauces. Spicy options maybe, I don't know. Not necessarily a complaint but a wish. Other than that, this is a tried and true spot. read more

Greek is one of my favorites! I had Greco catering at an event and was excited to try it again. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming. She also made recommendations, which I appreciated. I love fresh cut fries, but did not care for these. Too much oregano for my taste. The pita was good, but I would have preferred it made with the chicken chunks, like on kebabs add with lettuce added. My lunch was just ok, not bad but also not great. read more

We go here all the time. If you're diabetic, there aren't a lot of options for restaurants. The Greek salad here (with the addition of the chicken and tzatziki) is GREAT. All the flavor of a gyro without the carbs....although the bread is warm, pillowy and yummy. I may or may not snag a piece and scoop some hummus from my husband's plate. The salad has a million things in it and would be nearly impossible to finish. Love this place! read more

The food is good, but the knowledge about food allergies is utterly atrocious. They should be embarrassed to have chefs and staff that know nothing about food allergies. When questioned about food items and the ingredients, everyone, including the chefs, commented "I don't know". They should not be using items and giving them to people to ingest if they do not even know what is in the food. Their staff needs to be thoroughly retrained. If the employees were knowledgeable about the food they service and ingredients in it, I would give 5 stars because this was one of my favorite places to eat prior to this. Delicious and very authentic Greek cuisine at a very reasonable price. Bravo! My wonderful wife picked the meal of the day and her wise decision was the chicken kebabs over a delicious seasoned bed of rice with a side Greek salad. Bravo! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I stayed American and had the 8 ounce angus burger with fries that were made from scratch not frozen. Bravo! My burger was served on a peta bread thus sticking to the Greek theme. This Greek restaurant is clean and had a decent amount of indoor dining. The staff were friendly and the store was clean. The traditional gyro was good, but that was literally the only truly good thing we had there; the lamb meat and the pita bread they use were spot on. However, the falafels (appetizer) were bland, the Loukoumades were tasteless fried dough even after adding more honey to then at home (sort of like a plain unglazed doughnut), the plain fries were super salty, and the "lemon oregano" fries were super bitter from the copious amounts of dried oregano they used, yet with almost no discernable lemon flavor. And the taziki was really bland. I've whipped up better taziki at home. I don't understand how a Greek place that serves taziki with almost every dish could have bland taziki. Maybe it was an off night, who knows. I would be willing to try them one more time, and just skip those things and try some other options instead. It's been hard to find a good gyro place in Charlotte. read more

Who doesn't like amazing, volumous, and tasty salads? The truth is, my wife and I come here so regularly, we almost don't want to admit it. We've been in the area for over three years and this place has blown all of the other restaurants out of the water if you're looking for a salad that will fill you up. The fries rock. You can ask them to make them soft or crispy and they'll add a note to your order. They offer a military discount, which is very much appreciated. read more

The Siskey location was our 4th location of Greco Fresh to visit. It is a good representation of the concept though some growing pains will allow them to grow into the name. We came for a mid week lunch and found a few other diners. There was no wait as we placed our order. Seating is plentiful and open, similar in feeling to the Wesley Chapel location. Service was friendly. My wife enjoys the flavored fries, which she said were good on this visit. She also liked her gyro pita. I ordered the falafel gyro with spicy fries. My fries were perfect as usual. The falafel was almost perfect though I like it a bit crispier than it was on this visit. Not bad just not yet as good as our favorite location in Blakeny. This new location is a good addition to the brand and one we hope to visit more often. read more

My husband and kids and I love the greco locations. We were here last week when something horrible happened, and we will never be coming back. Disappointed. The tables, doors, floors and overall seemed dirty. Christmas poinsettias on the tables in May. Eaten here often before. Food was ok but I was choking on huge stems of something in my pita that I always order. So that's new. Salmon cooked perfectly as usual. Taziki sauce pouring out in a mess but tasted good otherwise. I live down the street from this place and this i my go to. I love the original gyro and the fries with the lemon and oregano.

Greco Grille is the most dependable place to eat in the entire area. GREAT food, friendly staff, clean environment, fair prices. My husband and I come back almost every week to enjoy the mental break we KNOW we get with not having to worry about whether our food will be enjoyable or if the service will be any good. Sadly we have grown so tired of eating out due to how horrible both service and food quality has gotten in the area. It's tragic! But, Greco Fresh Grille on McKee knocks it out of the park EVERY. Incredible Greek food!! We loved the other locations and the high quality food--gyro greek salad is my favorite! They have excellent meat and the salad is a generous portion of romaine, cucumber, tomatoes, feta, green peppers, and pita bread. The dressing is greek like oil and vinegar with spices. The gyro meat is delicious and tender and well seasoned. I love their lemon and oregano fries too!! Also they have amazing gyro sandwiches and chicken pita sandwiches as well. I literally love everything I eat here!! The food is homemade and fresh and delicious! If you love Greek food go to Greco Fresh!!
