I had been eyeing this spot for a while, and finally made time to stop in. It's really nothing special, but my food was tasty. The staff was friendly and answered my questions while I ordered. It didn't take too long to get my order out. I had my food to go so didn't really get to look around the restaurant overall. I don't feel my bowl was worth $15. It was just an overall okay experience. I think that's what you can expect from most quick stop in spots like this. Would still visit again for something quick and relatively healthy. read more

Shameful quality of chicken no seasoning no flavor plus it's hard Fries dripping oil I am so disappointed & oh yeah never again. read more

We have not had take out in a few months. Today we had a full salad with chicken. I had 1 piece of feta on the salad, and less than half the chicken we are accustomed to. Such a disappointment. read more

Very disappointed ordered double salads with shrimp, two orders awful, very little salad, a few three pieces of tomatoe? This service was awful after calling back to complain twice to the manager lady at the Matthews location. She told me how to order next time? This my third time being upset with their little amount of salad not much olives and other are included at all. Hardly worth $40 for a nothing lunch. We were both hungry by mid afternoon. Will not ever return to this location again and will be more buyer beware of their other locations. Not planning to visit any of them anymore, what a rip off. They sure are making fools of many giving little for a big price from your wallet. Do not order any salad, unless a few leaves are all you need. read more

My wife and I decided to try the Greco Fresh Grille in Matthews today and were pleasantly surprised! As stated in the name, the food was fresh and very tasty! Loved it! read more

Food is always really good. Service is ok. A lot of times there's a young person at the front texting on their phone which is kinda annoying but it's like that everywhere. Restaurants are usually very clean. read more

This restaurant is amazing!!!!! Food is great and their manager Roma is such an awesome person !!!

This review is for takeout only although from what I've seen, this is a nice space with lots of seating on the inside and several tables outdoors as well.. I've ordered here three times in the past month and will probably continue to do so because it hasn't failed me once and turned into a reliable option in the food-starved Matthews area. So I get the chicken kebabs each time with fries (although I'm considering the lamb burger next time) and it just hits the spot. The chicken is nicely grilled with just the right amount of char and the fries come in different seasonings--none of which have disappointed me so far. If I have one complaint, it's that I wish they had more dipping sauces. Spicy options maybe, I don't know. Not necessarily a complaint but a wish. Other than that, this is a tried and true spot. read more

Food is good per dollar, but when I roll up at 11 am when you open and the bathroom is trashed..... You aren't doing things right. A great quick gyro, friendly faces making it happen, but this vibe is inexcusable. read more

Greek is one of my favorites! I had Greco catering at an event and was excited to try it again. The cashier was super friendly and welcoming. She also made recommendations, which I appreciated. I love fresh cut fries, but did not care for these. Too much oregano for my taste. The pita was good, but I would have preferred it made with the chicken chunks, like on kebabs add with lettuce added. My lunch was just ok, not bad but also not great. read more

We go here all the time. If you're diabetic, there aren't a lot of options for restaurants. The Greek salad here (with the addition of the chicken and tzatziki) is GREAT. All the flavor of a gyro without the carbs....although the bread is warm, pillowy and yummy. I may or may not snag a piece and scoop some hummus from my husband's plate. The salad has a million things in it and would be nearly impossible to finish. Love this place! read more

Surprised by how much I loved this greek food! The dips were so good and the pita was warm and soft. I'll definitely be back. Good price point too! Check them out. read more

Counter service was great! Food was not good. I always go to Greco in Wesley Chapel and the lahano salad plus protein is great. Here, I got shredded cabbage and arugula with no dill, no onion and super dry. The protein had no taste. read more

The food is good, but the knowledge about food allergies is utterly atrocious. They should be embarrassed to have chefs and staff that know nothing about food allergies. When questioned about food items and the ingredients, everyone, including the chefs, commented "I don't know". They should not be using items and giving them to people to ingest if they do not even know what is in the food. Their staff needs to be thoroughly retrained. If the employees were knowledgeable about the food they service and ingredients in it, I would give 5 stars because this was one of my favorite places to eat prior to this. Unfortunately, I am not sure if I can go back now. read more

Food is consistently good here. Greek salad, pita and hummus are on point. Kids cheeseburger and fries are surprisingly good also. However, no ranch. read more

I would have given a 4, but prices are too high. Over $18 for 2 kids' meals. Food was good. I rdered kids chicken gyros and hot chicken skewers. We just ate them and didn't ask to change. read more

Delicious and very authentic Greek cuisine at a very reasonable price. Bravo! My wonderful wife picked the meal of the day and her wise decision was the chicken kebabs over a delicious seasoned bed of rice with a side Greek salad. Bravo! The chicken was perfectly seasoned and cooked. I stayed American and had the 8 ounce angus burger with fries that were made from scratch not frozen. Bravo! My burger was served on a peta bread thus sticking to the Greek theme. This Greek restaurant is clean and had a decent amount of indoor dining. I will definitely come back but next time I will go withe chicken or shrimp kabobs! God bless all my fellow foodies Always. read more

This place never disappoints! It's always fast and fresh! The staff is super friendly. Good for vegetarians or meat eaters alike.

This is one of our go to take out spots. The service is always fast and the food is great.

Amazing! The food tastes fresh and is super tasty. I'm not a gyro person, but I've been thinking about these gyros for days now. Can't wait to go back, worth the stop. read more

The staff were friendly and the store was clean. The traditional gyro was good, but that was literally the only truly good thing we had there; the lamb meat and the pita bread they use were spot on. However, the falafels (appetizer) were bland, the Loukoumades were tasteless fried dough even after adding more honey to then at home (sort of like a plain unglazed doughnut), the plain fries were super salty, and the "lemon oregano" fries were super bitter from the copious amounts of dried oregano they used, yet with almost no discernable lemon flavor. And the taziki was really bland. I've whipped up better taziki at home. I don't understand how a Greek place that serves taziki with almost every dish could have bland taziki. Maybe it was an off night, who knows. I would be willing to try them one more time, and just skip those things and try some other options instead. It's been hard to find a good gyro place in Charlotte. read more

Who doesn't like amazing, volumous, and tasty salads? The truth is, my wife and I come here so regularly, we almost don't want to admit it. We've been in the area for over three years and this place has blown all of the other restaurants out of the water if you're looking for a salad that will fill you up. The fries rock. You can ask them to make them soft or crispy and they'll add a note to your order. They offer a military discount, which is very much appreciated. read more

The Siskey location was our 4th location of Greco Fresh to visit. It is a good representation of the concept though some growing pains will allow them to grow into the name. We came for a mid week lunch and found a few other diners. There was no wait as we placed our order. Seating is plentiful and open, similar in feeling to the Wesley Chapel location. Service was friendly. My wife enjoys the flavored fries, which she said were good on this visit. She also liked her gyro pita. I ordered the falafel gyro with spicy fries. My fries were perfect as usual. The falafel was almost perfect though I like it a bit crispier than it was on this visit. Not bad just not yet as good as our favorite location in Blakeny. This new location is a good addition to the brand and one we hope to visit more often. read more

Food has be horrible lady. Young lady that I was told was a manager recommended lamb burger & rosemary fries. Never again. I let her know it wasn't good. Maybe the grease was bad. She didn't offer to remake it. Threw it away. I will not eat there again. read more

Didn't expect it! The service was great. Their chicken is flavored amazingly! It was just super delicious.

The young man took an order on the phone and I specifically checked to be picked up at 7:30. He wrote the ticket for 7:50 When we arrived he said he wrote 7:30 which when seeing the ticket it said 7:50 We got there at 7:30 he said give them 5 mins as the order was in process It was not they first stated it then We got another 5 mins 3 times No offer of apology or anything Got the order at 7:55 The lamb was hard and chewy not great as it usually is My 25 yr old was with me who works in retail and said he's never treat a customer like the way we were I asked for the managers number and name and he gave us a hard time about that as well I'm full of compassion for people if they make a mistake but not one who blames it on others Dear manager if you read that perhaps your front workers need to be a bit nicer and concentrate on fixing a problem not compounding it read more

Disappointed. The tables, doors, floors and overall seemed dirty. Christmas poinsettias on the tables in May. Eaten here often before. Food was ok but I was choking on huge stems of something in my pita that I always order. So that's new. Salmon cooked perfectly as usual. Taziki sauce pouring out in a mess but tasted good otherwise. Get extra napkins. It was slow and NO ONE was cleaning and it shows. A shame. read more

My husband and kids and I love the greco locations. We were here last week when something horrible happened, and we will never be coming back. We were sitting in the dining room enjoying our gyros, when the ceiling leaked water on my son's head!!! Absolutely disgusting. Greco Grille is the most dependable place to eat in the entire area. GREAT food, friendly staff, clean environment, fair prices. My husband and I come back almost every week to enjoy the mental break we KNOW we get with not having to worry about whether our food will be enjoyable or if the service will be any good. Sadly we have grown so tired of eating out due to how horrible both service and food quality has gotten in the area. It's tragic! But, Greco Fresh Grille on McKee knocks it out of the park EVERY. SINGLE. TIME. Definitely a 5-star place and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for yummy Mediterranean food locally. Enjoy! read more
