We ordered the baba ghanoush, whipped feta, chicken kabob plate, greek salad, and the berry minty mood drink! Every single dish was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. The service was warm and welcoming, and the ambiance made it a place you instantly want to settle into and enjoy. It's clear a lot of care goes into both the food and the overall experience. On a bustling evening without reservations, we waited 30 minutes for a table because of a mixup among the front of office staff. One host instructed us to wait in the seating area for the next available table, but another mistakenly assumed we were waiting for takeout and seated later arrivals first. Better communication here would elevate the experience. That said, the waiting area is warm and inviting, with soothing music that makes the time pass pleasantly. The ambience feels surprisingly upscale, more akin to a chic urban high rise than a strip mall eatery. For appetizers, we tried the highly recommended kibbeh, which didn't disappoint, and the meat pie, which I chose out of curiosity. The meat pie's bold flavours are an acquired taste and weren't my favorite, but worth trying for something different. The mango lemonade was a stand out - refreshing, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. The lamb shanks braised in a rich tomato sauce, were the highlights of the meal, offering a delightful mix of acidity and umami that left me wanting more. Also had the mixed kebab of shrimp and lamb/beef mix which were delicious, served with saffron basmati rice and grilled vegetables. One hiccup worth noting: Our party of two was automatically charged an 18% gratuity despite a sign upon entry that states gratuity is added for larger parties 5 or more. That seemed inconsistent. What a find! I stumbled upon Roz last night and was very pleased with the quality of the food. I ordered chicken kababs for an entree and falafel bites for an appetizer. Both were very, very good! And then we ordered the Dubai chocolate cheesecake for dessert. All amazing! The chicken and rice were cooked perfectly. I was with a vegetarian, and she was very pleased with the options. They don't have alcoholic drinks, but they seem to be known for their juice options. The atmosphere is very casual. Reminded us a bit of a cafe. I wanted to like Roz Grill because I'm a big fan of Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food. Tried it twice and probably won't try again. First time, it was decent I felt nauseous afterward which is never a good sign. But I figured it could have been anything so I ordered again. Next time I ordered the Kofta Kebab (which I typically love) and it was just decent at best. The fries (I subbed out the rice) were oversalted and overall it was just a disappointing experience. They also got part of my order wrong although they did refund me but my search for good ME food in Charlotte continues. read more

This place has only been open for a few months and is absolutely amazing! I believe it is one of the only middle eastern restaurants who make their bread fresh in house! That alone is 10/10! To start off the service was amazing and our service was awesome and knew the entire menu! I'm going to start off by saying our family was blown away! Also be sure to make a reservation in advance. The restaurant is modern, clean, open and bright. We sat inside, but noticed they have a beautiful outdoor area at the back of the restaurant which we look forward to experiencing our next visit. Service was a bit slow, but they were busy and we weren't in a huge rush. However our server was friendly and gave us her full attention when at our table. The juice bar is an experience you don't want to miss out on. While pricey, they are so fresh, flavorful, refreshing and unique! Definitely worth the $. Our family of 4 ordered the family meal which included chicken, lamb, and beef; rice, grilled veggies, and choice of 2 appetizers. For apps we chose the tzatziki and the dolma. Best dolma ever!! We could tell it was made same day...not refrigerated. And our boys thoroughly enjoyed the large portion of fresh warm pita and made from scratch tzatziki. The family meal entree was HUGE. We are big eaters but had leftovers to take home. The meat and rice were all again, so flavorful and just delicious. We did both the yellow rice and the white rice. Very distinct tastes and recommend getting both to anyone else. We also shared the Fattoush as an additional appetizer. Wow! Again fresh and flavorful! This newer spot, which opened this past summer, is very much a hidden gem! I was hesitant to try it, but I'm so glad I did. Everything I ordered was absolutely incredible. The babaganoush, kofta platter, and cauliflower were all wonderful-packed with flavor and perfectly prepared. The fresh pita that accompanies the dips is soft, warm, and delicious. The cilantro rice was sooooo good!!!! I typically don't even care much for rice. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, and the service was fantastic. LOVE this new Mediterranean spot! An authentic Arabic taste but very modern at the same time. Service was OUTSTANDING! The appetizers were excellent and so were our main dishes. The kofta was my favorite and the yellow rice is melt in your mouth. Definitely try the hot mint tea, Turkish coffee, and juices...all were great.
