Great value for the money for the Beef and Lamb Shawarma plate. I got a side of yellow rice and hummus. The hummus came with pita. The first few bites of pita had a drawback taste but it went away. Not sure why it tasted old. I wasn't sure if it was the hummus so I tried it by itself. Anyhow, the rest of the meal tasted good. I was happy they have the iconic whipped garlic. I hope to try the Talapia in Garlic Sauce people are raving about at other locations. The entry and waiting area isn't too appealing but around the corner the dining area is clean and seat cushions compliment the Mediterranean culture. If you like Le Kebab, you'll enjoy this place. Elaf greeted us when we walked in. The entire restaurant was full, but she was very polite and smiling, and took us to our table. Our food was fresh and hot. The vegetarian delight app is excellent. Falafel is homemade and so light and crispy! We had the chicken shawarma also 9/10. The fattoush salad is made with crispy pita bread and served with a tangy salad dressing. The lamb Shawarma wrap is cooked perfectly and served with seasoned fries, garlic dip, and hot sauce on the side. The star of the show was the house made (made to order) kanafe! It takes about 15 minutes to make so just go ahead and order it when you're halfway through your meal. It came out bubbling still hot from the oven! This is a family owned restaurant and they really care about the quality of their food. It was really busy when we went and they could've used a few more servers. I know they are actively looking to hire more people. Even being short staffed, they were attentive and kind . I hope they continue to be successful because the food is excellent. The food at this place is SO SO good. It's a bit of a hole in the wall, not fine dining, you wouldn't come for the ambiance but that's fine just overlook that and focus on how delicious the food is. The hummus is fantastic and surpasses expectations, as it should. The garlic shrimp dish is one of my favorite foods in Charlotte that I crave all the time. Lamb is a solid choice. My wife and I tried Jasmine Grill for the first time today. We thoroughly enjoyed it. The food and service were great! We had chicken shawarma, beef & lamb shawarma, hummus, fattoush, baba ganoush and rice. Everything seemed freshly prepared and tasted delicious. We finished our meal with some of their home made baklava and Arabic coffee. Like the appetizers and main dishes, the dessert and coffee were great! Their baklava is the real deal. Not overly sweet or drowned in syrup. Just crispy layers of phyllo dough with ground nut filling. Oh, and before I forget, we also tried a pineapple soda from the UAE. Best tasting pineapple soda we've ever had!!! This place is a find for sure and we look forward to returning soon to try some of their other dishes. Went here for lunch and the service is very good here, very fast. Great lunch specials that are affordable, everything was hot and fresh. Had the chicken sharma and it comes with yellow rice, salad and lentil soup. Tip- ask for more garlic sauce, it's delicious. Only critique is that the lentil soup at the original location is thicker and I prefer it that way, the soup here was a little too thin in consistency. read more
