Lola is a hidden gem! If you're looking for an authentic experience eating Peruvian food then you need to stop by here. The flavors are rich and vibrant, and you can tell everything is made with care. The staff is warm and welcoming, making the whole experience feel even more special. If I lived closer I would definitely visit more frequently!

    Finally here after the renovation!

As a Peruvian I struggle to find authentic Peruvian restaurants in CLT that still maintain the original feel and taste of Peru. This place was amazing! The food was phenomenal, drinks were tasty and strong. Went on a Friday evening where there was live music from 7-9pm. It looks to be ran by a family and the staff is a bit new but you can tell they are attentive and helpful. Would come again and bring friends!

Excellent service, great food, fantastic music, and unique environment. I am looking forward to coming back here again.

    Amazing grilled with chimichurri!

First time here, lovely decor, food was delicious!! Best Peruvian I've had in Charlotte! I try their ceviche they're grilled octopus and a fried fish and Kamari bites. Had this amazing watermelon margarita and my husband had the best espresso martini he's ever had.! We will be back. Hidden in strip mall so not much walk in traffic. Hope they survive!

Great food and cute place! Loved the pork belly appetizer and ceviche (as well as the second appetizer shown in my photo that I can't recall what it was called.) Everything was exceptional!! If you want tasty Peruvian and healthy food, this is your place!

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch here during the week. For a starter, we ordered the yuca fries which came with two sauces and were good! For an entree I got the ceviche de pescado "el firme" as medium, which was also delicious! Service was also fantastic and the restaurant felt clean and bright. Hope to come back here again the next time I'm in the area.

I ordered the 1/2 dark chicken plate with yellow rice and chicken soup. The chicken soup is the only thing I wished it had a little bit more flavor but it was all good. The beef empanadas were VERY good (fyi if you go on Tuesdays, I believe they are $1) . I also grabbed their mango juice, and it tasted fresh, natural, and authentic -- definitely a highlight. Overall, this is a solid food spot with a nice variety of menu options. I didn't get any pictures this time (my bad ), but I would definitely go back and enjoy another meal here. I do wish the sweet plantains were fried a little longer and the rice portion was bigger for a family meal and the amount of beans provided. But other than that it was a good lunch. And they have a large vegan menu ! Service was good it was empty when we walked in but was helped right away. It was pretty clean in there and bathroom was clean. I did not get pictures of those. Located where the former Moes was in the Pineville Matthews shopping center with Bonefish and Panera. The place looked pretty clean although after ordering my food I noticed the sanitation grade was a 91...yikes. Anyways I went ahead and ate there. So let me start by saying the menu is large, so many different items to chose from and not only Peruvian food. I saw some Colombian and Venezuelan items. With that being said I was very shocked at the lack of standard side items. Literally rice and white rice at that, pinto beans and like one other things. All other sides are considered premium sides and those premium sides would be basic sides at like hello chicken or viva chicken. I got the 1/4 chicken, white meat with reg side of white rice and premium side of plantains. For the dipping sauce I was limited to the yellow mild sauce or the spicy hot sauce. They were all out of the green mild sauce. Just for context I arrived at 11:40, they open at 11. Not sure how they ran out so fast but I would have loved to try it because the yellow sauce was just ok and the red was cold and just spicy no real flavor. Thankfully the chicken was flavorful and juicy, the white rice was white rice and the plantains were cooked beautifully. Also the cashier was great and provided excellent service. All in all, I would visit again but no rush to go back again. Viva Chicken still takes the lead for now for me. I would love them to mature their side menu, increase their sanitation grade and have the green sauce available.

We went on Monday, not a busy day in the middle of the afternoon however our server gave us some the best experience. He was very knowledgeable about all the items. He made great suggestions and was attentive. Our only complaint was the yuca. It was very bland. Flavorless. Everything else was very flavorful. The beef you could tell was marinated as well as tender. It just fell apart with the pull of a fork. The Cubano was great as well. I had the Tampa cubano that added the salami. We will definitely be back to try some of the other dishes. We love that there was a variety of items to choose from .

I've had many yucca fries and these are the best. They're crispy and the sauce it comes with is perfection. I prefer the bowls over the sandwiches to minimize carbs. You can't go wrong with any of them. Key lime pie: I'm ordering this again. This Keylime pie beats any Keylime pie in the Key West. I like that the custard has some lime shavings for texture. I also appreciate that they use meringue instead of whipped cream. The dessert is perfectly tangy. Chocolate cake: it's a really good chocolate cake. It's such a simple dessert yet not everyone gets it right. I personally prefer the Keylime pie, but for the chocolate lovers, this might be the best chocolate cake. Santiago cake: a high protein cake with almond and eggs. I actually make this at home often but I wanted to compare mine with the restaurants. The texture was good, but it had a refrigerator taste to it which I didn't like.
