Excellent service, great food, fantastic music, and unique environment. I am looking forward to coming back here again.

    Finally here after the renovation!

As a Peruvian I struggle to find authentic Peruvian restaurants in CLT that still maintain the original feel and taste of Peru. This place was amazing! The food was phenomenal, drinks were tasty and strong. Went on a Friday evening where there was live music from 7-9pm. It looks to be ran by a family and the staff is a bit new but you can tell they are attentive and helpful. Would come again and bring friends!

First time here, lovely decor, food was delicious!! Best Peruvian I've had in Charlotte! I try their ceviche they're grilled octopus and a fried fish and Kamari bites. Had this amazing watermelon margarita and my husband had the best espresso martini he's ever had.! We will be back. Hidden in strip mall so not much walk in traffic. Hope they survive!

Beautiful location , my kids loved lomo saltado here . First time here and will definitely come back again.

Great food and cute place! Loved the pork belly appetizer and ceviche (as well as the second appetizer shown in my photo that I can't recall what it was called.) Everything was exceptional!! If you want tasty Peruvian and healthy food, this is your place!

Enjoyed a fabulous lunch here during the week. For a starter, we ordered the yuca fries which came with two sauces and were good! For an entree I got the ceviche de pescado "el firme" as medium, which was also delicious! Service was also fantastic and the restaurant felt clean and bright. Hope to come back here again the next time I'm in the area.

Can't believe we'd never been here! We love Peruvian food and this spot has it all: the place looks great, beautiful decoration and super clean. Service is the best, family owned, people who really care and make great recommendations (thanks for introducing us to the Emoliente!) and the food is delicious, fresh, and carefully prepared. If you have to wait a little bit for your ceviche to get cooked to perfection I promise you it will be worth it :)

Best Peruvian food in Charlotte!! Peruvian cuisine is having a moment, so get to Lola's as soon as you can. Fantastic freshly prepared dishes from family recipes, delicious cocktails all in a tastefully decorated environment with warm and welcoming staff. We were greeted by Juan upon arrival and he went over the entire menu with us. We enjoyed pisco sours - traditional and passion fruit - highly recommend. We shared a beef empanada - baked , not fried ( the correct preparation) and so tasty. Main dishes were one of the many ceviches and the adjide gallina. Be sure to save room for dessert and get the sampler of ice cream, alfajores, and chocolate cake with the flavor of lucuma , a Peruvian fruit that tastes similar to maple syrup / dulce de leche. Don't let the location in a small strip mall deter you - once inside you are transported by the ambiance and food. There's plenty of parking too! We will return! As for the review that mentions a language barrier - they must have been at a different establishment or they speak a different version of English because there is no problem communicating with the servers at Lola's. The language of delicious food and warm hospitality is universal. Besides when you are the only patrons who don't speak Spanish at a Peruvian restaurant, you know you are in the right place!

Miro Spanish Grille…read more As usual AMAZING food, phenomenal service (REALLY good people) and great music on Thursdays. My only comment is that the pork skewers? There's gotta be a way to ensure they stay tender and are not a little tough and dried out. Love the idea of the corn, but there was no flavor. Not sure if maybe marinating the corn and something might give it a kick? That was absolutely not the case with any other dish, under any circumstances! Oh my God, the croquettes? You haven't lived until you've had them with their homemade dipping sauce! The Osso Bucco is a favorite - but we love to dip the bread in the different sauce's especially the olive oil the shrimp are cooked in Phenomenal desserts as always the chocolate cake has no flour it's gluten-free and it is fabulous! I will always recommend Miros and that's been the case for as long as they've been in Charlotte!

The atmosphere inside is clean and great for a special occasion. There looks to be a private room in the back for an even more upscale dining environment. We were here on a Saturday afternoon and it did seem rather dark in some areas so we chose a table closer to a little light. The service was definitely the best part of our experience. Our server was Nikita and she definitely made sure to take care of us and was friendly the entire time. It was also clear that the owner wanted to ensure we had a good experience, and was appreciative of our business, which does go a long way! Our meal started off strong with a great deal on margaritas for only $6! The Fry's deviled eggs were also interesting but very good. The menu has a decent variety to choose from for everyone in our party although it didn't really seem like tapas-style dining - just regular classic dining. There were a few things with opportunity for improvement and I would be happy to share those with the establishment as well, because we'd to have an even better experience once some of the kinks may be worked out. Every business takes some time to get up and going, so we hope to come back again, especially during a time when they have music playing - live or DJ

I called the restaurant ahead of time to inquire about the menu and if reservations were needed. The item I really wanted was on the lunch menu and not able to be made special for me for dinner but the warm demeanor of the gentleman who spoke to me convinced me to say to my husband that we should try the spot he found on IG. We arrived and I was super excited that a Black-owned restaurant was in such a prime location in Carolina Place Mall. It went downhill from this point. Our server, Brie (like the cheese), was super sweet. She disappeared for a moment and someone else came over to tell us all the menu items that were NOT available, one of which I was excited to try. The menu seemed extensive but once explained, there were only a few items available. We placed our drink, appetizer and entree orders. We waited. We waited. And, we waited. Finally, Brie, our server who was also the mixologist, made our drinks. My husband is a connoisseur of old fashioneds (disclaimer) and this one did not measure up. My lemon drop was decent. We waited so long that we asked for our check. So, I cannot give a review of any food. We didn't get to eat and are now on the hunt to find dinner. One and done! And that pains me to say as a fellow Black business owner.

We all raised our glasses to the bartender for her skills. For food we went straight to the tapas menu and that was the 2nd best decision we made that day. Soft and fluffy but with a touch of a griddle crunch on the edges. Just absolutely perfection. The kitchen is significantly punching above their weight on how they're cooking items.
