An excellent lunch, a little bang for your buck but I would definitely come back! I do think the store attendees could be more attentive to the cleanliness inside the restaurant.

I ordered via Door Dash and it was pretty good. The Korean BBQ glazed carrots were spicy and flavorful. Would definitely get them again. The "street car" bowl was okay. The steak was tough and chewy and beans were mushy. Rice had some flavor. Corn wasn't seasoned at all. Sauce was okay. It was an okay bowl, but overpriced for what it was. It's hard to find healthy type bowl options so it was okay, but would try a different one next time. The carrots were delicious though!

I'd give this a 3.5 today, but think it could be much higher! I went at 1:00 on a Sunday, so I know they're super busy. Clean environment and friendly staff. Helpful when asked for suggestions! Super busy but service was pretty quick. Truffle fries would still be a must order for me, but ours came out cold (COOOLLLLDDDDD) to the touch. I didn't ask them for new ones but I'm sure they would've done it, to be fair. They were still tasty! Spicy chicken Caesar wrap was so surprising and yum! Couldn't taste the crouton crumbs at all, and was definitely lacking a lot of crunch since it was spring mix, not romaine lettuce. Finally, turkey prosciutto panini was pretty yummy, but I wouldn't call it a panini by any means. Good sandwich, but way more bread than I was hoping for since it was listed as a panini. Anyway, overall, super easy crowd pleasing food with a ton of yummy sounding options. Will definitely be back and hope for better execution next time!!

My first time to the SouthPark location and it was easy to locate and plenty of parking even with it being Saturday early afternoon. I will say the place was packed and seating was very limited. However, we were lucky to grab a table inside. Ordering was a breeze and the cashier was so sweet and friendly. I ordered chai tea latte and the Cesar salad wrap with a side of Parmesan fries. The wrap was good, but nothing that I would be craving over other places. The fries were crispy and season well. Overall, it was good, but I am not looking to go back anytime soon.

Salted Melon delivers the union of clean healthy food and self service cafe. I quite enjoyed this restaurant model as customers can enjoy breakfast, lunch and just a drink to study, work or hang out.

The sweet potato pancakes tho. Not overly sweet. Love the honey cinnamon butter and toasted pecans on top. The rosemary was an unexpected savory touch. Ima have to steal that! Everything else we ordered - the pesto egg white sammy & bandito burrito - was fresh, clean, and tasty too. This new Salted Melon location is a nice addition to the neighborhood for a quick Sunday brunch. Just know, it can get pricey. Gonna go back and try lunch and the sweat treats!

I tried Salted Melon for the first time and ordered the Street Car. The flavors were really good and I enjoyed it overall. The steak was overdone and a little chewy but still tasty enough that I finished the whole thing. The vibe here is bright, modern and full of energy. The staff was kind, the service was smooth and I can definitely see myself coming back to explore more of the menu. There is so much variety that one visit is not enough. This visit was a solid four stars for me and I would happily give it another try.

Great new space with grab n go options as well as menu you can order from. Service was great. Enjoyed my iced latte and the breakfast bowl. Nice patio in the back with umbrellas and a few tables outside in the front as well. My friend got the berry toast and was disappointed it was only 1 piece of toast for the cost. Overall, good experience and happy to have a quick and casual breakfast and lunch option in Phillip's Place!

This was my first time at this location. There is plenty of parking in the area along with a lot of seating inside and on two patio spots. There are a lot of options for a quick bite. The place itself is very clean and bright to walk into. I was disappointed for $10 for one piece of toast (very little Nutella on it too).

First time at salted melon and I thought this location was great! So nice new and clean. Wraps were great and really filling. Highly recommend getting the side of fries. They are so delicious and perfectly crispy. The drinks were also fun and lots of seasonal options. Thought it was a great new location and will be back for sure! Especially since there was parking and much easier to get to.

This Grilled Chicken Ceasar Wrap is on point. I loved it. So tasty, the fries were crispy & the lemon aioli they gave me was so good! Would highly recommend... they have a few locations... go check them out.

We were looking for lighter fare and the menu had so many options to choose from. The lavender honey butter with the warm bread surprised me the most - the bread was fluffy and cloud like and divine with the butter. We nearly ordered another one, but it was just so decadent. The mezze platter had lots of great bites for our varied palates, loved the whipped ricotta and all the olives and fried naan. Harrisa roasted carrots were our idea of something healthy, and they may have been nutritious but tasted just as good as any main dish. Our server kindly warned us to be careful of the fresno chiles on the pork belly dish, and we appreciated that. They were quite spicy but very good with the slaw and pork belly - excellent bite of savory, crunchy, spicy and just a wee bit sweet was possible on that one. We happened to benefit from some wine specials and opted for a couple of bottles of wine at a serious discount that were excellent. Our server made great recommendations and made sure our glasses never ran dry. The manager also checked in on our group but was never intrusive. We enjoyed the booth seating near the window and the vibe was definitely upbeat but casual. It hit the spot!

My girlfriend and I stopped by Salata in South End on the way out of town for a birthday Airbnb…read moretrip and thought the place looked great inside. The space is bright, clean, and feels like a nice addition to the neighborhood. The biggest downside was the parking situation which is obviously more of a South End issue than a Salata issue, but it definitely made the quick stop feel less convenient than we expected. The ordering flow was also a little awkward... after building your order you end up waiting at the register while the food is assembled, which slowed things down more than it needed to. Food-wise, my wrap ended up being really good but there wasn't an option for a plain wrap, so I went with the cucumber wrap instead of whole wheat and it actually worked out great. Overall, it was a good meal, but if I'm choosing between salad spots in Charlotte I'd probably lean toward Chopt most of the time.

I walked in and no one was inside so I was able to order right away. I had a spinach salad with lots of yummy fresh toppings and the spice chipotle lime chicken. It looked as good as it tasted. The pesto chicken looked great too, but I wanted a little heat. I love their options and that you get the cute lil croissant with the salad. I had the ginger lime vinaigrette and REALLY enjoyed this salad.

Great spot with a great feel inside and nice modern decor. Really nice bar too. We had a great table for the 7 of us with plenty of space for us all and our food ! Our server was awesome and so attentive to us and our requests. Good food here. Something for everyone. Not the best Italian food I've had ever but was good. We had a bunch of things off the menu and shared it all. They also have drink and food specials everyday posted in the table Drinks were good too some classic Italian cocktails. And great wine list and beers too. Italian heavy as they should be! Guys had Peronis girls had cocktails. Negroni, Italian Paloma , espresso martini and Hugo spritz. All great and nice glasses and presentation. We had a lot of food ! The bread service is excellent, soft but light and airy. Great olive oil too. The polenta pour is a must ! So unusual, they pour polenta at a table by your table on a wooden plank and top it with toasted mushrooms, garlic sautéed spinach, Italian meatballs , Italian sweet sausage and tender rapini, which is broccoli rabe. It's a great visual and great for many people . You order per person and we just did 2 people and let me tell you it's plenty for 4 . We all ate off it from the center of the table along with everything else. Cool idea. Also we had the pumpkin ravioli, ribeye steak, which was cooked perfectly , funghi Campanelli, roasted tomato soup, Caprese flatbread and Cesar salad. All of this was excellent. I loved the pasta in the funghi dish ! Caprese flatbread was really good and the crust was nice and crunchy. The guys loved the steak. Then we had a few affagatos to round it all out and that was awesome and delicious too. So nicely presented too with a red mug of gelato and Amaretti cookie crumble and a little out of hot espresso . So good . I recommend either less gelato or more espresso. Little off in the ratio. But still very good and rich. We had a totally fun night here . Great new spot in South Park area.

We arrived to be sat in the WORST table in the whole restaurant (and it was freezing cold in there, we sat on what felt like "chilled" chairs). The table was bad because the host and hostess had to bump us every time they walked other tables back (and then those customers bumped us) - this also happened when they delivered food. Seriously horrible table placement. We got bumped more than 10x before even ordering drinks. We questioned if it was a "what would you do" TV show about to have John Quinones pop out from behind a wall. On to the food/service - the waitress was pleasant and all, but she almost whispered. We genuinely couldn't hear what she said the first 5 mins of intros and specials but she did point to the things on the menu they were OUT of. (Too many for a Friday night). I wanted a hot drink - anything because I was so cold..... and she said, "I have hot water" - great, but no tea. No coffee? No tea? Nothing hot as my teeth were chattering? Nope. We ordered diet cokes. They came in mini glass bottles (ugh) and the martini one of my guests ordered was literally 1/3 full and was lousy. (Oh no). Now we were in too deep. 20 mins of staring at the menu, miss whisper returned and we ordered. The food was quite bland/boring. The chicken parm came with sliced provolone on top that was not even melted and a few sliced cherry tomatoes on top of that. Interesting. What was that?!? The pasta was cooked perfectly but the sauce needed salt as it genuinely had zero flavor. Some random guy who was quite personable saved us as he brought salt and cheese to the table. No idea where our waitress went - drinks sat empty, plates half emptied because we simply couldn't finish. She returned eventually and asked about dessert - we didn't bother to look. We'd have probably waited another 45 mins to get dessert and we continued to get bumped the whole meal. Again, she was lovely (from what we heard her say) but the lackluster Friday night simply soured us. Best part honestly? The taffy bins on the way out. We grabbed a couple pieces and they were great. Otherwise, I hope they can drum up enough of a crowd to keep their rent paid. Sadly it won't be us. Seems a few tables around us felt it was ok (but for a Friday night this place was pretty lightly filled) - maybe better seating would've changed our whole attitude. (And some salt & pepper on the table). It was weird to not even be offered any kind of bread either - if you want some kind of side or something to supplement the sauces, you likely need to order it. Too pricy for the experience we had. It's a no from us.

Yes, double Caesar. I know. Judge me if you want. It's my favorite part, and the pesto chicken is ridiculously good. Anyway, I was passing the SouthPark location one day and figured I'd save myself the trip to South End. Mistake. I made it all the way down the line, ordered my usual ingredients, said "double Caesar," and the employee just looked at me and said: "No." I genuinely thought she was joking. Apparently two scoops of Caesar would make the wrap "explode".. her words not mine. I explained that I order this exact wrap at South End constantly and they wrap it without even blinking. Didn't matter. I asked if she could just try. No. Asked again because surely we weren't seriously having a standoff over an extra scoop of salad dressing. Still no. Guys, I'm not asking you to wrap soup. It's lettuce, chicken, corn, tomato, cheese and slightly more Caesar dressing than society apparently considers appropriate. After about the fifth refusal, I just walked out, drove to the South End location, ordered the exact same wrap, said "double Caesar" and nobody cared. They wrapped it perfectly. I'm sure the SouthPark location makes a perfectly good salad, but if my usual order requires a debate and a feasibility study, I'll just keep driving to South End.
