This was my TikTok guilty pleasure stop of my LA trip and my goodness was I disappointed. On social media, there's tons of people hyping it up, saying it tastes great, is unique, is worth it, is 10/10, etc. but I found the opposite conclusions. You choose the form of food, and then the meat to accompany it. I think a majority of people get burritos, but you pretty much get the same base ingredients no matter what you choose. Based on observation, the burrito seemed to have the biggest mass. I also asked what the most popular meat was, and they said the bacon and sausage, which seemed somewhat telling since Bread & Breakfast is supposed to be known for their Armenian influence. They also have a few locations around North and West LA. - Basturma Bowl $20 for a Jimmy Dean breakfast bowl is straight up hilarious, and the premium air-dried cured New York steak was more like scraps of very salty jerky bits. They didn't even give too much of the basturma! The eggs were overcooked, and the cheese wasn't melted. The sauteed tomatoes just taste plain and chopped. The oily tallow tots were the best part of it, but I barely wanted to finish it due to how salty and disappointing the bowl was. Choose something other than the basturma. - Carne Asada + Bacon Burrito This tasted better than the bowl, but we've had much better carne asada, and again, the eggs were overcooked. They also did not supply much meat in the burrito. Overall, the meats were all scrappy, and it doesn't taste any different than just a run-of-the-mill breakfast burrito. Both of our meals needed their signature sauces for a boost of interesting flavor. The cilantro crema tastes like creamy herbs, and the other sauce was like a very spicy salsa verde - the spice that lingers in pain on your tongue. At least the ice cold tap water was good for the LA heat. For parking, it's a small competitive lot that has 20 minutes temporary parking up front. It took about 15 minutes to get food with only a couple people in front, and I think they do online orders first.
If you're looking for an overpriced, bland breakfast, this place is NOT for you. But if you're craving bold, flavor-packed food loaded with protein and generous portions, you've found the right spot! Every time I eat here, it's absolutely delicious, and I always have enough leftovers to enjoy the next day. The green sauce is a 100/10! I keep telling myself I'm going to buy a bottle to take home, but I always get so distracted by how amazing the food is that I forget. I've even tried the veggie bowl, and it was just as delicious as everything else. I used to go to the NoHo location, so I'm really glad they've expanded and opened a sit-down restaurant because this is the kind of food you want to eat fresh, right away. The service isn't anything fancy--just efficient, friendly, and to the point. Parking is limited, so plan accordingly, especially on weekends. I went on a weekday and had no trouble finding a spot. Go try it and thank me later, Yelpies! After eating here, you won't look at breakfast burritos or bowls the same way again.
This breakfast burrito was delicious! The warm tortilla released a comforting toasted aroma, while the smoky bacon and savory sausage made it irresistibly hearty. Each bite offered a satisfying contrast of textures: crisp, salty bacon, juicy sausage, and soft, fluffy eggs wrapped in a tender tortilla. The rich, savory flavors blended beautifully, with the bacon adding a smoky crunch and the sausage contributing a peppery depth. Filling without feeling overly heavy, it was a wonderfully satisfying way to start the morning. Online ordering was quick and convenient, and the great service made the experience even better. I'd happily order it again!
I'll be the first to say that burritos are usually a let down. Sometimes the rice is dry; other times, the rice is overserved in them. The beans can be too wet, the meat can be fatty, the sour cream can give you the runs, the guacamole can be brown, the tortilla can be too chewy, the salsa can be too watered down...you get it. The basturma burrito is top 2, the other being Testal in Phoenix, which is more Northern Mexican-inspired, so they're both in a league of their own. The meat was so tender and seasoned to perfection; every time I ate it, I thought I'd be diving into an overseasoned flavor, but it stayed perfect every time. The eggs were high quality, and the tots were deep-fried to the point where you get the crunch without the burnt taste or dryness. They give you 2 sauces. I had trouble figuring out which one I liked most, but the traditional salsa verde won because the meat is so tender and juicy that opting for the slightly less liquid sauce serves it best. Just overall a gem.
Stumbled in this place while waiting for my mom to get chemo OMG the breakfast burrito slapped so good I got the veggie burrito and the cilantro Crema is fire and they also give you this other sause it hase minced chili's I was putting both the sauces it was amazing I will definitely be back
Saw this place on yelp with good ratings and I wanted to give it a try. Walking in we were greeted by the lady behind the counter. She gave us time to look over the menu right away. We knew what we wanted.. I ordered the carne asada and bacon burrito. We also ordered a bacon burrito and carne asada bowl. While we waited for our order, I was able to take in all the cute decor signs very quaint. The burritos were excellent. They gave a side of creamy cilantro, salsa that was amazing.. if you are in the area, this is a must try!
4++!Breakfast spot located in a pretty tight stripmall in Burbank and I think they're mostly known for their breakfast burritos - at least that's what me and a buddy came here for based on what we know. The service is friendly and quick. They have to be because this place could get really busy. When we came in it was pretty packed and the vibe here was a bit frenetic but everyone was cool. Once you order you try to stick around till you get your food. Space could get a bit tight here since the place isn't huge and it seems to be wildly popular, especially on the weekends. I got the basturma breakfast burrito (Armenian air-dried cured NY steak and sautéed tomatoes). It was a little bit pricey, but not surprising because it was packed with ingredients and came with sauces. Overall, I really enjoyed the burrito. We parked about a block away because the parking lot here could get pretty tight.
Got to come in here for their birthday celebration and man - this is an excellent taco spot. I normally am not out early enough to do breakfast tacos (or breakfast/brunch in general), but we decided to come in for an early lunch to celebrate. There was a great vibe inside...first, there was a DJ playing and the place was full to the brim. That said, they were handling the orders like champs, and we had our order in within 3 minutes. I got the sausage taco, bacon and asada, and pastrami. These things are big and they put in lots of delicious egg, cheese, and tater tots in with the other meaty goodness. This might be the first time I can say that after three tacos, I was stuffed! I was particularly fond of the asada and bacon and the pastrami, which I understand is slow smoked for 14 hours. We also tried a couple agua Fresca flavors and I mixed em together, which was excellent. I really dug this place, and I love that they even have decent parking too. My wife and I will be back!
Very good breakfast burritos! I got the carne asada & bacon burrito and it was really tasty. The portions were generous, and everything tasted fresh and flavorful. The combination of carne asada and bacon was especially good. Definitely a great spot for a filling breakfast, and I'd come back to try some of their other options.
This is a contender for one of the breakfast burritos in LA. The soujouk burrito, to be exact. Soujouk is described as halal Armenian beef chorizo and it has the perfect savoriness to complement the fluffy eggs and crispy tots. They emphasize that the tots are fried in beef tallow but I personally couldn't taste it because it was all melded in the burrito, although maybe as a side, it would've been more obvious. Basturma is the second-best protein option, although slightly more expensive. The best part about this place is that there's parking in the lot and a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating. We had a pretty big order and it came out within 20 minutes. It's a fast casual type of place so you can dine in or take it to go - although if you do, I highly recommend having enough salsa. The cilantro crema is a fan favorite for good reason.
The morning still felt a little rushed when I walked in, which honestly fit the stop perfectly after dropping the kids off at school. I came by Bread and Breakfast for a quick breakfast and ordered the carne asada and bacon breakfast burrito. Overall, it was very delicious and definitely hit the spot. The burrito had good flavor, and the combination of carne asada and bacon made it feel hearty without being too heavy for the morning. My only real note on the food is that I wish the meat had been spread out more evenly through the burrito. A few bites had a lot going on, while others felt a little light, so it would have been even better with a more consistent balance from end to end. Still, the taste was there, and I enjoyed it. Service was fast and very friendly, which made a big difference on a busy morning. That kind of welcome goes a long way when you are trying to grab breakfast and keep moving. I would come back, and my tip for future customers would be to stop in when you need something quick, filling, and flavorful before the day really gets going.
I think I had the best burrito of my life from this place! We randomly ordered burrito from them on doordash and oh my god, it was phenomenal. So yummy and flavorful. The delivery also took less than 30 mins to Glendale!
My husband and I came here for lunch, and I was craving a breakfast burrito, so we decided to try a new spot. I ordered the pastrami breakfast burrito and overall really enjoyed it. The proportions were well balanced, the cheese was perfectly melted, and the tots were crispy and delicious. I was expecting the pastrami to be thicker pieces rather than thin, chopped deli-style meat, but it was still good. The sauces on the side were great, especially the cilantro crema, which really stood out. That said, the burrito was very heavy. We only made it through half of our burritos, and even that kept me full for the rest of the day. It's not at the top of my list, but it was solid, and I'd come back.

You guys - this is dare I say, the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. Sorry wake and late - you're just way too pricey for a small burrito. This burrito is massive (double the size of a wake and late burrito) and it comes with a spicy pepper sauce and crema on the side. Both pair so well with the burrito. I tried the Soujouk burrito and it exceeded my expectations! It's like an Armenian chorizo with a tangy, lemony flavor that balances out the heaviness of the rest of the burrito. You'll also get little crunchy bites along the way from the hash browns. It is SO GOOD. My new favorite and I can't wait to tell everyone about it!! Must try! read more

The breakfast burrito gets 5/5 Banana pudding 5/5 As for the service, today it took about 25 minutes for our orders to come out. They do prepare everything fresh, I saw them making the hash browns, the cooks back there are really doing a great job tackling down orders. I guess maybe ordering online is the best way to go? Haven't tried that yet. But anyways, they should also have a section where they have utensils and napkins readily available since the girl at the front is busy doing other chores. My pastrami burrito was so delicious, packed with eggs, cheese and load of pastrami meat, along with avocado slices. I highly recommend this burrito this is my favorite for sure. One of the best breakfast burritos and breakfast tacos I have ever had. The texture, flavor, and sauces all came together for an absolutely incredible experience. I got one breakfast burrito with steak and bacon and also got two tacos a la carte--one was the soujuk and the other was basturma. The sauces were AMAZING!! Flavorful, dense and all of the components work well together. Spoke with Art who was providing excellent service and conversation and he talked about finding the right suppliers, top quality selected meat, and making the eggs as fluffy as possible in each iteration to improve the menu items. Cannot rave about this enough!!! Our first time trying this place today - had quite a wait (~20-25 mins) for the food, but the food was soooooo amazing. We got 2 breakfast burritos- carne asada and the sausage + bacon. The burrito has potatoes, eggs, and cheese with your choice of protein. It was so hefty I could only eat half of it. Each order comes with cilantro crema sauce, and the house spicy salsa. We also ordered carne asada sliders and it comes with their tater tots (which i believe they use beef tallow to cook it) Everything was so good I cannot think of anything to say. We drove our food back home to eat (25-30mins) but everything was still warm (DID NOT GET SOGGY) and the tots were still so crispy it did not get soggy i was so impressed! Nothing to say but very nice things about this place. Everything they made to perfection. Staff was super nice - but they could use a couple more hands on how busy they are. We have been looking for the perfect breakfast burrito ever since the place we went to closed. And by God, we've found it. Wow!! I love their breakfast burritos! Their sauces are to die for so they really know what they're doing! I got the bacon and sausage breakfast burrito but I already can't wait to try their other menu items. We waited about 20 mins for our food but sure was it worth it. People come and go and eat pretty fast so if you wait enough, you can definitely grab a place to sit. I believe it was the owner who was at the cashier and he was super nice. Super hearty, packed with crispy bacon, flavorful sausage, fluffy eggs, melty cheese, and golden hash browns that gave it the perfect crunch. I saw a reel on instagram about this place and was excited to try it. Used to be a pop up and now a storefront. I couldn't try the two most popular burritos because I don't eat beef so we got the Sausage and bacon burrito. Was sooo good. Eggs were nice and fluffy. Packed with bacon and sausage. Easily enough for two people. I got the banana pudding too. I'm often disappointed by banana pudding when I get it. This however was very very good. Lots of vanilla wafers. Yum! This place is absolutely amazing! The breakfast burritos are so good and packed with flavor. I visited this place a while ago, and I was impressed by the generously portioned burritos. I could only finish half, which worked out well since I had the rest for lunch, it was just as delicious. The service was quick, even though they were busy both in the restaurant and with take-out orders. They also offer refreshing drinks to complement your meal. read more
Updated because of great response and concern from owner. We have eaten here twice. We got burritos first time, and a burrito and a bowl. The food was fine, but way too salty, IMO. Today, I get a BOGO Coupon offer in a text and take it into the store to order. At the register, I click the "Redeem Now" prompt in front of the girl at the taking my order, and it goes from 'Valid' to 'Not Valid.' I tell her I just got the offer this morning, so why won't it work? She gives me a blank stare, then she asks a colleague/manager about it... that person just shrugs. Not good. Is this coupon just a bait and switch, figuring that now you're in the store, so you'll just forget it and buy the two? Feels like it. Of course, I left. Last weekend, I ordered takeout from Bread & Breakfast. I arrived around 9:20am on Saturday, and there was plenty of parking in the private lot. The food is made-to-order, but I didn't have to wait long to receive it. It seemed like most customers ordered ahead for pick-up. The staff was friendly and service was quick. Also, there's indoor and outdoor seating at this casual restaurant. I had the Soujouk Burrito. It was fresh, hot, and filling. The spiced beef was so flavorful. I liked the thin tortilla, which allowed for more stuffing in the burrito. Both sauces (crema and salsa) were great and complimented the burrito. Pretty decent place! Great service with friendly staff. Everything was delicious! Mamba burrito lasted about 2 minutes. I really enjoyed the bacon torta had everything I was looking for breakfast. Banana pudding is a great addition to the saltiness of the torta. It's rich and well balanced. Only issue how long it takes. The lady said 20 minutes but it was almost 40 and we were in a slight hurry but not the biggest deal! Be prepared to wait on a busy Sunday morning. read more

We stopped by on a Saturday late morning, 11:30 and there were a lot of people there enjoying their meals and others waiting for their food. The owner? I think greeted us and gave us a few suggestions after I told him it was our first time there. We decided on the sausage and bacon burrito and we shared it. It's a large burrito as you can see from the photos. "Whenever there's silence when people are eating, you know the food is really good!" Once we ate our sausage and bacon burrito, I completely understand why people flock to this breakfast place! The menu is kept simple with lots of options to tailor the food to your dietary preferences or needs. As for the sauces...the jalapeño sauce, chipotle sauce and avocado cream are all really good! We couldn't decide which one was our favorite to be honest. We will be back to try the other options, maybe tomorrow . Give them a try, you won't be disappointed! read more

Loved this place and the people when they had their truck in Burbank. Found out via yelp this morning that they have a brick and mortar now, so went for a visit. I used to get the bacon breakfast burrito, but this morning the person helping me suggested the carne asada + bacon breakfast burrito so I gave it a try. At 14.99 + .50 egg surcharge I felt ripped off. As you can see from the photo there was hardly any meat in it. It was mostly eggs and hash browns. read more
