I absolutely love the tuna melt was so good and the salad that it comes with is delicious Also enjoyed the clam chowder as well! This will be a spot I will visit again :)

Yesterday, 2-25-25, was National Clam Chowder Day! Boudin offered a BOGO on the Clam Chowder Bread Bowl! Clam chowder was full of chopped clams, creamy, and tasty.

My tuna salad sandwich with lettuce and tomatoes contained no lettuce, no tomatoes, and hardly any tuna salad.

Quick & easy to pick up a loaf! They slice on the spot too. Tables for seating, not too busy so you can totally do work/school. The cashier was super nice & patient while I registered on their app so I can get a free loaf (monthly!!)

Tasty French Dip sandwich without cheese. Very Tasty roast beef with sourdough baguette with a rich au jus plus horseradish (on the side). It is a to-go order. The au jus is still warm and very tasty with rich beefy flavor. The staff is very friendly and professional. Order is ready when I get there. Will come back order again.

I had the claim chowder bowl. Was too hungry that I forgot to take a photo of it. However, manage to take a photo of the breads while I was waiting for my soup. I arrived around 11:30am, wasn't too crowded. By the time I finish eating, the place was packed. Service was great. I didn't wait too long to get my food since I came early. I have been to other locations of this restaurant. This location is not bad. If you sign up with a reward account, you can get free bread once a month after you purchase something.

I've never had anything at Boudin other than the clam chowder and bread bowl this time I tried the Royale cookie. It had some nuts and coconut in there with the essence of a classic chocolate chip cookie dough. It was quite small, but it packed flavor and I liked all the texture and chewy element inside the cookie. I believe Boudin is a Bay Area only place since it originated in San Francisco. I've only noticed a couple locations throughout the bay area.

thx much!!! good food, good fun! celebrating on a Friday with gym buds... thx for the vegan sandwich, loved it!

    Open faced dungeness crab melt

Picked up dinner here on Monday night, the open faced dungeness crab melt (seasonal menu item) with added smoked bacon, and mixed greens on the side. The entire dish was amazing. Generously topped with a well-seasoned mix of fresh-tasting crab meat, the added bacon adding a nice flavor and crunch. The bread had good consistency, crispy enough to hold together well, but chewy as if just-baked, allowing me to savor each delectable bite. The fresh salad complemented the dish well, with a tart balsamic vinaigrette dressing. I ordered for takeout online in advance, my order was ready at arrival, no waits, and friendly service. There's also plenty of indoor seating available if you prefer to dine in. And easy parking in the plaza parking lot. Not much more I could ask for.

Jeff and Lynna are awesome and are super polite and friendly and welcome you when you enter the store. They have a positive attitude and the breakfast sandwich is delicious. I recommend going here and trying it.

Stopped by for lunch today and really enjoyed our choices. They are offering Dungeness crab items on their menu for a limited time. We chose the crab and corn chowder in a bread bowl and the crab Louie salad. Both were excellent. Crab tasted fresh and they gave a good portion with the salad. The soup was rich with a bit of sweetness from the corn. It also had a quick to it. I think they have put a bit of cayenne pepper in there. It gave just the right amount of heat. Our service was excellent and the tables were all clean and ready. The young lady that took our order was so kind and very helpful. I had a question about an ingredient in one of the new crab items and she quickly gave me info on it. She also brought me extra salad dressing for my crab Louie, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend these new menu items. We will be back to have them again before they are gone.

We came to BOUDIN for lunch one afternoon. We all know BOUDIN for their sourdough bread but never knew that they actually had a place to eat. We walked inside and saw that they sold all kind of take home items. When we travel to new places, I'm always looking for items to bring back to showcase where we have been. It was nice to see those kind of items. They had like a cinnamon bread, sourdough chips in both jalapeño and sea salt. We got a few of the chips to take back home. On their menu they have sandwich and soup combos, sandwich alone, or pizzas. My daughter had a pizza and my husband and I had a sandwich. I had the chicken pesto sandwich and my husband had the pastrami melt. My daughters pizza was really good. The pizza was made of sourdough crust and it really went well with all the other toppings on the pizza. I think that was my favorite out of all of ours. My sandwich was okay. It was kind of a cold kind of sandwich and the bread to me was hard. But I guess I'm not used to that so much because it's sour dough bread sandwich. I liked my husbands one and we ended up trading actually. His was a hot sandwich that pressed together the pastrami and bread and cheese. It had some slaw on there (which I normally don't like) but I thought it worked well together. I'm glad we got to try this place. And I hope that next time we can try their chowder and their bread bowls.

Bad experience! Boudin now covers their metal serving containers in flimsy plastic bags. I ordered tomato soup and that came from metal heated container with the plastic bags inside where hot food is served from. It is carcinogenic and unhealthy to have plastic bags to store hot food. The serving folks ignored my concerns about this when I pointed it out

The place was situated in a quiet plaza just outside of Lawrence Expressway. There's ample parking but it doesn't feel like the location is suitable for a cafe where you can picture sitting inside looking through some big windows facing a busy pedestrian walkway. However, once I stepped inside, I was surprised at how zen and peaceful the decorations were and how fitting it was for a cozy and quiet cafe hangout. The cake shelf was surprisingly busy. And this is where I took one star out because the lines were confusing and the staff skipped me to talk to the group behind me while I was clearly the next to be helped. Luckily another staff member came out from the back kitchen and jumped in to help. The staff spoke fluent mandarin. I was interested in their box cakes. A few of the yelpers raved about their soy milk cake and luckily they had one out for sampling. It was covered with lots of cream and the cake layer was soft and moist, but it was still slightly too sweet for me and I felt that it lacked the tofu kind of soy flavor. Then, I spotted on their menu that they have a black sesame matcha box cake, and black sesame is always my favorite, so I asked for it. They had the last one left! The staff said she had never tried it so she couldn't tell me if it is less sweet than the soy milk cake. Since it was the last one available and I already sampled the soy cake, I decided to give it a try. I am happy that I did. The cake was filled with matcha mousse and tasted light and aromatic with the jasmine kind of matcha flavor. It is definitely less sweet. Unfortunately, it doesn't have as much black sesame as I'd like. But overall, the cake flavor is the kind that I like, subtle, moist, and not too sweet. $38 for a box cake of 4x4 is a bit pricey, but I'm glad that I gave it a try. The cakes were freshly made and tasted best the same day of purchase. They also recommend refrigerating the cake and consuming it within a day or two.

I kept seeing posts about whaT's More cake's persimmon cakes, so I decided to give them a try. I preordered the persimmon molten cake and the persimmon crepe cake through their website. The online ordering process was smooth, and both cakes were ready right on time for pickup. Unfortunately, the persimmon molten cake was disappointing. While I appreciated that it wasn't overly sweet, it was very mild in flavor. It tasted more like a simple sponge cake with a persimmon filling in the center, and overall, it felt quite underwhelming. In contrast, the persimmon crepe cake was much better. Each layer had persimmon cream and jam, which gave it a stronger and more pronounced persimmon flavor without being overly sweet. Overall, it's a cute cake shop worth checking out if you're looking for unique flavors in the South Bay. Parking: Plenty of parking available in the lot.

Don't sleep on the black pepper sausage danish: the croissant dough is crisp and flaky, and doesn't get soggy when baked around the sausage. It's comparable in execution to the Croissant Hot Dog served at Dominique Ansel Las Vegas (in Caesar's Palace), but at a way more accessible price point. Which isn't to say this place is cheap; like many artisanal bakeries in California, it comes with a premium price tag, but at least it's not Dominique Ansel pricy. Croissante's croissant dough baked goods (viennoiserie) is pun-intended "proof" that you get what you pay for. The dining space is limited and lively. Conversing is a little tough, but if you just need a place to sit while eating, it's just right. Extra special shout out this time to Dill who had informed me the fried chicken dishes today would be an hour and a half wait. After deciding there wasn't anything I wanted more than the Fried Chicken and Spiced Croffle (croissant dough baked in a waffle iron) and was happy to wait, they were nice enough to check in with the kitchen and see if it could be made sooner than that. I didn't expect to be accommodated, so I was happy they were able to do that. You get two chicken thighs and croffles per order. It's enough for two light eaters to share.

I usually get the same item at Basquia Bakery: Korokke, a Korean style fried bread with a crispy panko exterior, filled with savory mash potatoes. For $3, it's a good deal for a snack. Some of Basquia Bakery's baked goods are not labeled so I would have totally overlooked their Korean mochi bread if it weren't for TikTok. Last fall, Korean sweet potato mochi bread (goguma ppang) went viral. For months, the commercial frozen ones were sold out at Korean markets. The supply has since been replenished (along with frozen kimbap) but if you can't commit to an entire bag like myself, then this is for you. Plus, this may be the only bakery in NorCal selling freshly made Korean mochi bread. M E N U Along with mochi bread, Basquia Bakery sells cakes (slice + whole), roll cakes, fruit tarts, cream puffs, bread, buns, k corn dogs, etc. For drinks, they have non-caffeinated lattes (e.g. black sesame and beer). M O C H I B R E A D Available in pairs ($4) or a variety box of the five flavors ($9). I went with the latter. Visited Saturday morning around 9:45 am and the had about a 50% supply left. Can we talk about how adorable these are?! The mochi bread is shaped based on their flavors. The mochi "bread" is mochi with a chewy exterior filled with a mashed filling. This is my personal preference but I like mochi that has more of an elastic, bouncy QQ chew which this didn't quite have. The texture did improve after air-frying the leftovers. Flavors: * Sweet Potato // 4 stars Looks and tastes exactly like the real deal with sweet, fluffy mashed interior but hits different with the slight gelatinous chew. Tip: Eat this with kimchi. It's adds a delicious tang and heat to contrast the natural sweetness. * Corn // 4 stars Enjoyed the creamy corn filling with kernels for texture. * Potato // 4 stars Savory, creamy mashed potatoes. I wanted to pair this with a steak. Lol. * Chestnut // 4 stars I love roasted chestnut but this has cinnamony, chocolatey notes from the dusting of cocoa powder + cinnamon. There were chunks of roasted chestnut. * Kabocha // 3 stars Again, tasted like the real deal but too sweet for me. Overall, glad I tried this cute novelty at Basquia Bakery. I'm now convinced to buy a bag of the commercial frozen ones, yanno for taste test comparison purposes. ;)

It is located next to the grocery store Nobhill and there are quick 20min parking in front of the store. We were greeted right when we entered the door and looked at the delicious treats to eat. There is the main seating area and another area in the back to sit down along with sitting outside. It felt upscale and nice. The sign in front of the store had some drink specials and I got a strawberry/matcha drink I think it was called Rose. I asked what was good here and the cashier said the mini almond pastries and other treats in the front. The mini almond pastry was really good and also got a crème brûlée which was really good as well. I would come back again and try their hot teas next time. Delicious treats. Good upscale vice a nice place to catch up with friends!!!

It is a bit too sweet for me but if you like a drink with a fragrant aroma, go for it! The Borek and Menemen were both amazing. We got the beef Borek, it was nice and crispy. The bread that came with the Menemen was so good that I'd go back to get that bread to-go to make sandwiches. It had a very nice smell from the sesame and cumin(I think?) on top. Overall definitely coming back to try things I didn't get to

Nahita Bakery operates a humble storefront with large glass display cases showing off their delicious baked goods, fried pastries, and stewed meats and vegetables. As a first timer, it was a feast for hungry eyes! We came in on a weekday afternoon and were hankering for a snack before dinner. The staff welcomed us in and gave us a quick introduction to their offerings. My mouth was already salivating at the sight of the golden brown pastries and at the mention of olives and cheese, I was committed! We ended up getting a coupe of their items including achmas (pastry made with sweetened dough) and pogaca (pastry made with buttery dough) - one filled with olives and one with the feta cheese. We also got a borek (pastry made with phyllo dough) with ground beef and asked to be cut up so it can be shareable. The olive achma was fragrant and soft when torn into. The olives were flavorful and distributed well within the bun. The feta cheese pogaca was flavorful and was layered into bun. I think it would have tasted even better warmed but it was delicious nonetheless. The distribution of the cheese could have been better to better fill my mouth with those flavors. The borek was a star but too heavy for one person to eat. The fried dough was crispy and paired with the ground beef made for a hearty snack to go with something warm to drink. The other pastries and entrees looked good and although we didn't have the stomach space for it this time, we know we will be back when we are in the area to try something new. Perhaps we will get to try their coffee next time! Overall, Nahita Bakery does an amazing job bringing their Turkish culture through food to the South Bay. Their quality of work is shown in the food's presentation, ingredients, and flavors and the clean open dining space elevates the dining experience here whether you're in for breakfast, lunch, a snack, or dinner. Their large parking lot shared by other small businesses is fantastic for those looking to get in and out on some errands. If you haven't had a chance to try some Turkish pastries, you are in for a treat at Nahita Bakery!
