Wind didn't slow them down! We were passing through on a beautiful but particularly windy day. Our server was great! Within minutes of receiving our drinks, the wind caught the menu and knocked over a Pistol Pete's blonde ale spilling it all over. The server was quick to grab towels and bring out another brew. Our table wasn't the only one the wind was causing chaos at, hey again, server Josh was there to repair! We will be stopping again when we pass through. Being pup friendly is also a huge perk! read more

Amazing views but plenty of places have that. Beer selection was pretty good & tasty. The food? OH HELL NO!! Burger tastes something made from a can of Spam & maybe some filler. Grits - burnt. Shrimp PO-boy - rubber. Drop in for a beer, leave immediately when you have the slightest crave to eat. Hit Starr or Steel Bender for a real GC burger. read more

Well very busy place that's good for them this place must make good $ capitalism at work love the USA !! BUT my god man what is the deal with the worst metal mini one butt cheek stool not a decent chair in the place can't bring a handicap or wheal chair person the tables are high tables. The patio is very nice what a view. I hope they can get better chairs maybe break off a few $$ and get a little better stool we may stay longer and make you more $. read more

Wanted to sit on upstairs outdoor balcony, but they wouldn't allow us to because they were waiting for the option of a reservation when they had 2 paying customers right in front of them. The patio was empty. SMH read more

Great beer. HORRIBLE service. Guy walked around with his iPad to all the tables bit ours. Food is alright. Tried the place for the second time We sat ordered beers and went to the window to order food. The food Was good and great beer once again. We never had the waiter come by again. After the first hour went by we had to go to the beer for our second beer. Still no one came by. I will never go back to this place. They are lucky I can get the beer elsewhere in town with better service. read more

I came here during reopening from covid so capacity is only allowed at 50%. We had to make a reservation online via their website which was quick and easy. We were sat promptly and safely upstairs with a great view of the mountains! The atmosphere is still great and the beer is solid! I had a pilsner to drink and ordered the bacon chile quest fries with shredded chicken (highly recommended!) I also had the Asian flavored wings. Overall, I have no complaints! read more

Service was horrible, we waited an hour and we never were able to order food we tried ordering drinks but our server didn't know what was going on with anything we asked him so we left to Applebee's. read more

Great Beers. Amazing Food and Service. Patio views are incredible. Great indoor dining area.

Went in on a Friday evening (just before 7 PM) to celebrate my birthday. Ordered a burger, chicken sandwich, and wings around 8 PM. A bit later our waitress comes back to tell us they were out of wings AND fries. Not sure how this happens, but needless to say, this was a pretty disappointing and pathetic birthday dinner. Asked for a side of ranch when our burger and sandwich came to the table, but the hubby said, "well, not gonna get that". Sure enough, never saw that ranch. Not worth the cost or time spent waiting. Won't be coming back. read more

One of the worst brewery's I've been too! Service is slow, my boyfriend got his food after I was done with my plate 'cause "his food ticket got lost" Service is slow after receiving horrible service no apology from manager NOTHING. Food is too overly priced. read more

Food was good. Service not good. Had to ask for silverware. Had to ask for more drinks. My husbands tacos did not come out with the rest of the food. I don't think the server put his order in. Tacos were 3 tiny street tacos. read more

Great food and mostly good service, the first time here was so much fun. But for some reason I got the stink eye the second visit. It was like I wasn't hipster or snobby enough to be there. Granted, I had my Ferris Bueller's Day Off T-shirt on and just wanted to have the delicious pork belly sliders. But there is a definite cattiness among the servers and bartenders, except for The Man. There is a guru server, a man, a bearded man, you'll know haha. So, I'd like to give the place 5 stars for the great beer, view, food and ambiance but I can't. The service with certain exceptions could make me feel welcome. Peaches, a bartender, is absolutely the best. I don't want to have to visit a place and seek a welcome. Just welcome people, this place is great and I hope it won't be elitist. I'll be back to test the waters (beers) and think good thoughts. Since returning a couple of times, service has been good and kind. read more

I only give it five stars because the Waiter Shawn was super attentive and a cool dude. Otherwise it would be a one star honestly. We ordered a burger and a nachos to share but asked for no onions. They brought our order but the nachos were full of onions so we asked to make it with no onions. We literally drank our limit of 3 beers and waited an hour and a half and barely got our nachos to go. The environment was nice outside and if it wasn't for the bartender being so apologetic and cool then I would be a pissed customer but I'm not that type of person. We will definitely be back. read more

The second I walked in the door some staff member demanded my ID. I told him I wasn't drinking and he just stared at me and then proceeded to not ask anyone who came in after me for their ID and later on no one was at the door checking ID at all so I have no idea what that was about but I prefer to not be pounced on with demands 2 seconds after arriving. The food was ok, nothing special but tasted fine. The waitress was rude, inattentive and at the end of the meal had to be chased down to get the bill because she was busy hanging out with another waitress in the back, on a Friday night no less. I don't think I'll be going back here. Turtle Mountain in Rio Rancho is way better. read more

Great place for lunch! Stopped here with a group of friends on our way through Bernalillo. They have a great outdoor seating area. The service was fast and friendly, the food and drinks were awesome. Some of us had beer, other cider, all were very good. Prices are very reasonable, I was surprised at how affordable it was. read more

We wanted to try this place out, but we were greatly disappointed. My food order wasn't even placed, so by the time I finally received my order, everyone at my table was already finished with their meal. Our waitress didn't seem concerned, so there's that. Will not be returning to this establishment. read more

This place is great until you go and they have food trucks outside and or they close their kitchen early. service is great but this gets a three star for the food service. ex- called and they said their kitchen closes in 30 minutes. drove 15 minutes to go eat and they said their kitchen closed early. Time before drove again to go eat around lunch time. kitchen closed and food trucks outside. please just be consistent. When the kitchen is open the food is amazing and that's why we keep going back hoping for food. btw we order drinks every time here. it's just so disappointing not getting food when you call ahead. I hope this gets figured out because I'm done calling and showing up. read more

Had an amazing lunch upstairs overlooking the Rio Grande while on vacation with family. Food included, cheese curd appetizers - delicious and fresh. Fish & Chips, Asian Chicken wings & Poutine. 3 different brews, Bosque Lager & Stout. Even though during CoVid, everything was fresh, too temperature and delicious. Our server, Mariah, was on top of it, very friendly and a joy to talk with. It was warm, but nice outside with the breeze flowing through. They will return!! read more

Love the views and the beer. The "team" waitstaff does not work. We ordered beer and appetizer, but no one returns to take food order. We watched as it happened to the table next to us too. It's a shame to see what could be a great brewery not be great. read more

I've only been here once and I don't live in the area so I don't want to taint the review pool, but I was not blown away. The beer was so-so, the service was eh. I didn't get around to trying any food because my group asked for a menu and we ended up waiting so long we didn't have time to order any. The view was amazing, but it wasn't enough to justify a return trip if I ever make it out this way again. read more

Review based on only visit to Bosque on a recent visit to NM. I stopped by just for a few beers with my friends and did not eat. The beer was fair-to-good...kinda thin and uninspiring. Service was prompt, polite, and lovely. The outdoor seating and views are why you come here, but not enough to make me return. Also, a weird three beer limit. Not sure if that's a NM thing or just this place, but something I've never witnessed in my travels. read more

So we have now been to Bosque North 4-5 times and have a very good sense of most aspects that pertain to Bosque north. On a positive note their beer is good and they have a really cool unique setting. Other than that the service and food have been CONSISTENTLY subpar at best. I know their focus is beer but you got to step up your food game and if not get some food trucks outside that can do it for you. There's too many other good breweries out there that also serve good food. Service has always been pretty crappy but this last experience was just flat out insulting and rude. The young lady who took my order had so much attitude and sass when I asked for an extra piece of chicken on my chicken sandwich as if it irritated her that I would want this. Then when she brought out our food I asked her about my extra piece of chicken and she proceeded to tell me " that I got what I paid for". She was very patronizing and rude my whole table was astounded at how she spoke to me. I asked for a manager the manager came and apologized and sent the server up to apologize as well. This was also a disaster as the server was so furious her apology was YELLED at us and she again proceeded to tell me that "I got what I paid for." I really could've given a care less about the food at this point I never ask for a manager when food is bad I just don't go back but it was the total disrespect and sassy attitude that really left a horrible taste The sad thing about all this is I wanted bosque to succeed. But sadly based upon this last experience that was not just bad or sub par but was insulting and demeaning we will not be back. read more

Bosque North - Mountain - Breweries Near Me - Bernalillo, New Mexico

So, there must be a law that says "If a brewery has decent beer, don't expect great food." My bride and I decided to check out the newest Bosque Brewery location in Bernalillo as we had been visiting a friend nearby. The facility is quite large with upstairs and outdoor decks on both levels. It faces the Rio Grande off Rt. 550. For starters we had their chips and salsa. My heart sank when a basket full of blue corn tortilla chips arrived, but the salsa was so good that I forgot how much I hate blue corn! At least they were quite salty which masked their usual bland flavor. S ordered a Green Chile Cheeseburger, served with fries. It was advertised as Kobe beef, and was probably a half pound. It was cooked to order and garnished with a tomato and onion and a bit of spring mix. Why do restaurants insist on putting the tomato on the bottom of the burger next to the bun? It's only going to get mushy and make the bun mushy. We usually recommend the fixings on the side but we forgot this time. I ordered the grilled cheese on a pretzel bun. It was just OK. For a couple of "fancy" cheeses, the taste was pretty unremarkable. I probably would've been just as happy with American cheese! The beer? The usual very good flavor. S had her Elephants on Parade and I had the Scotia Scotch , both 16 oz. servings. I doubt we will return. Especially since we can get their beers at Smith's and better food in many other places. read more

Extreme step down from the other bosque locations. Lack of full-service definitely hurts the experience. Seems as though they hired completely inexperienced bartenders with very little knowledge of the beer. Also shocked at the small selection of beers; you'd think with so much brew space and lack of comfortable seating, they'd be able pump out more than one seasonal offering. They did have a seasonal in cans, so I asked if I could buy a 4-pack and have one at the bar, but they could not do that. But they could sell a can of alcoholic cider in can... read more

We were pleasantly surprised with the beer and food selection! It;s a limited menu but they do have vegetarian options. The upstairs views are amazing! read more

My husband and i decided to go out last night and stopped at bosque to get a drink and some food to go. We got sat looked over the menu and we waited and waited for someone to come and take our order. They were not that busy and i saw about 5 workers walking around with nothing to do. We still sat there and nobody came to us. So we just up and left, My husband has gift cards and we wanted to redeem them. We will go to Restoration Pizza and use them there. That place is good and the service is excellet. We decided to go up the hill to the new Turtle Mountain and got seated right away and the server took our order right away. We live in Bernalillo and thought that Bosque would be good to have a drink and some food, but i was wrong i will not recommend that place to anyone anymore. read more

Went the other night to try out the Bernalillo location. I was pretty disappointed in how expensive the food was - especially when you're having to order it from a window. However, the manager, Sunny was AH-MAZING! She kept our table spotless, joked around and conversed with us as well as other customers, and provided crazy good service. She was super friendly and definitely went out of her way to make sure everyone had what they needed - she even helped out the other staff whenever she could. So all-in-all, the beer is great, the food is pricey and Sunny is awesome! We will definitely be going back! read more

Always wanted to try this. Like the beer... Walked in got seated outside only to find they had no shrimp and none of the breaded entrées which Eliminated 75% of the menu items. Ordered the nachos which had no beans and were so so and then ordered a chicken sandwich which was candidly terrible. So so disappointed. Service was nice, friendly but there's nothing there that would ever bring us back. Would much rather go to Santa Fe brewery, beer Creek brewery and so many others... Too bad read more

Great food and great service. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable about the beers that were on tap. We'll be back!

Terrible service followed by getting cut off at 245pm after two beers for being overserved. Descent beer coupled w dissatisfaction

If u come strictly for the Bosque beer you might know and love and the gorgeous mountain views, you'll give 5 stars in your own review. If you are coming for more of a meal experience, you may want to give the establishment some time to work out some kinks. Our food order was incorrect, our beer server was in the weeds, all orders took more time than expected, ketchup was a super hot commodity, and overall staff morale seems affected by it all. Because we like a nice outdoor space that is child and pup friendly, I am sure we'll be back to give em another try. Wishing u guys the best, Bosque! read more
