I was there 4 days ago with my son and had a Reuben sandwich and fries. The Reuben was good (about 3.5/5 stars). I really liked the atmosphere (ambience)... down home would be one way of describing it. Met some friends there at 2 this afternoon. Everyone said the fish and chips were better than 2 Fools, so I decided to try it. Not bad, not good, just 'meh'. That said my friend's actually had more fish than breading. Mine was mostly breading. The bottom line is good Irish food in pub atmosphere. They have a nice variety of food too. We started with the pretzels and cheese. I had the daily special of southwest fish. It was delicious with garlic cilantro topping. My hubby and son had the Celtic trio. Both had the shepherds pie and scotch eggs. My son had the bangers and mash and my hubby had the fish and chips. We loved having the small portions of different things. We all loved the scotch eggs. We have never had them before and it was very good dipped in their mustard. We also loved the shepherds pie. I'm surprised I haven't written a review about this place sooner, it's fantastic! Quarter Celtic is tucked away in the shopping center that used to house the Kistler-Collister store, which I understand was once an upscale clothing shop. A few folks came together to start Quarter Celtic, including Brady, who is an incredible brewer. It's great to see him showcasing his amazing beer at a restaurant he co-owns. The food? Consistently excellent. I've tried a good number of items from the menu, and everything has been delicious. Portions are generous, so come hungry! The space has a cozy Irish pub vibe with a brewery in the back, and the service is always friendly and attentive. We enjoyed our visit to quarter celtic brewpub. It was self seating which What's nice so we opted to sit outside in the patio. It was shaded and spacious. I was undecided on what I wanted to order so I got the celtic trio and got shepherd's pie, fish and chips and corn beef and cabbage. My husband got the burque turkey sandwich. I loved the trio even though it was on the expensive side. I was disappointed with the Shepherd's pie it was mostly mashed potato as seen in my photo. The meat was grounded and didn't have much of a mixed meat flavor. I did like the corn beef and cabbage it was cooked perfectly. The fish and chips were also tasty with the tarter sauce which tasted freshly made. The fries were crispy and good too. My husband liked his turkey sandwich but wishes the chile had more flavor and more turkeh turkey. He said he will order double meat next tlme. We also want to try the sweet potato fries and hope they will also be crispy like their regular fries. They also offer a variety of drink options which was nice. I had the gold mead blood orange which is strong so I suggest ordering a side of water. My husband had thr mot buck IPA which wasn't too hoppy more of a hazy or lighter taste type IPA. read more

Had a Pedro O'Flanagan, which was a refreshing Mexican lager, and fish and chips. There are not many places I would have fish in Albuquerque but this is one of them. Both the food and the beer were delicious, and prices were reasonable. Lots of parking underneath the building, which I am not sure I would have found if I wasn't with someone. First time visiting and I'll be back!! It's St. Patricks day - we got here at 11:30. Busy! But our wait was not too long. Once seated, we received our choice of beverage, a stout and the Best in the World Vienna lager. Both were excellent, my husband ordered a second stout I tried the Mexican lager, which I liked better (just a personal preference) but only drank half of it. I was just too full from our outstanding lunch. Lunch: Fish and Chips, Shepherds pie, a cup Each of stout stew and one slice of pecan pie. Everything except the pie was excellent. The pie was just too sweet for us, but pecan pie is typically so. I'd prefer a bigger layer of pecans, that cuts some of that sweetness. Fish and chips here are the best I've had here in the 505 and beyond. Shepherds pie was everything I hoped for, home made taste, creamy mashed potato topping, rich hamburger layer with peas and carrots. Perfect! Blind date at this location so of course I get 20 minutes early. Immediately got a seat and addressed right away by the wait staff who are very friendly! Very chill vibe and really enjoyed it! OMG!!!!!! I'm in Irish Heaven!!!! The best food and service I've had in weeks! My first time here and it was wonderful. I came about 1:45 on a Friday afternoon and got seated immediately. A nice crowd of ppl and they looked like regulars. My server, Ian, made some great suggestions and he was spot on. I got the White Wine Salmon plate Special, German Red Lager, and Bourbon Pecan Pie. I was very surprised when Chef Nick came out to see how I liked the Salmon Special!! I let him know it was my first time here and his Salmon plate was incredible. We finally made it to this restaurant. Eric ordered a shepherd's pie. I ordered a single fish and chips. Eric said that the shepherd's pie was seasoned well but was a bit cool. I think it may have sat out before the server brought it to the table. The fish and chips had a really nice light and crispy batter. The? Fries were a bit salty, But. Tasted okay overall. The mate and I shared the 3-entree plate, choosing Bangers and Mash, Corned Beef and Cabbage, and Fish and Chips. All deeeeelicious and just the perfect amount of food. The one- piece portion (haddock) was small for $18. The quite petite waitress said that two-pieces was big but if you were OK with taking it home, it was good. I definitely would not go back for the one-piece, but it was good so next time I'll definitely get the two-piece portion. my partner had a turkey sandwich, don't bother. Bland with soggy bread. After meaning to try this place for a while I finally checked them out! I enjoy a lot of "pub grub" so I really liked the "Celtic Trio" option where you can have choose three different classic Irish pub type offerings to combine in a single plate. If I was really hungry I might have been able to tackle it on my own but it's also a great size for sharing! I went with the fish and chips, bangers and mash, and the scotch egg. When we didn't have to request malt vinegar I suspected it was going to be a worthwhile meal! I thought all three of the items were tasty. The scotch egg was battered rather than breaded, which was a first for me and I definitely enjoyed it. The bangers and mash are probably my favorite of the ones I have tried so far in Albuquerque, my friend and I both really enjoyed the gravy. And the fish and chips was indeed a good rendition and even better with a little malt vinegar. The service was efficient and friendly, and quick to bring a refill on my lemonade (again, without me having to ask). It was a bit loud but not unreasonable for a pub. We ordered the grilled fish tacos; turned out to be lots of tortilla with hardly any fish. We asked if we could substitute a different side for the beans, and were told yes, we could choose any of the side dishes. We chose sweet potato fries, when the food came, the fries seemed like they were precooked and had sitting around for quite awhile. They were terrible. Then when the bill came, unbeknownst to us, there was a two dollar up charge per plate for the fries! The waitperson never informed us of the additional charge! Overall, it was a terrible experience, and we will not go back, nor would we recommend the restaurant. Atmosphere was typical brew pub/sports bar; nothing special. read more

First time at this pub. Great location but hard to find as it's located at the lower level right outside the parking garage. Plenty of parking as we were there on a Sunday. The hours listed outside the pub were a literal confusing at first. It shows they're open daily followed by the hours of the days that they're open, but there's no mention if they're open on Sunday. Granted, "Open Daily" should mean everyday, so we were a little confused. Great ambiance! Nice interior decor with a very, "Pub" feel. Seating is a bit limited but they do have an outdoor patio if that's your thing. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The menu has just about everything you could expect along with some catchy names for each menu item. Prices were very reasonable. Bathroom was clean and not smelly. I ordered the Classic Reuben sandwich which was so-so as were the fries. If you want an out-of-this-world Reuben sandwich, go read my review on the Little Toad Creek restaurant located in downtown Las Cruces. 5-stars from me! My iPhone camera battery was , otherwise I would have taken pictures. Amateur reviewer, right? . Everyone I went with enjoyed the pub and they too felt the food was "average." 3-stars from me. Areas for improvement would be tours of the brewery (they may offer them? ), better TV's and more of them, along with Celtic music. I mean, c'mon! . The Shepherds Pie was absolutely amazing and the corned beef was the best I've tasted in a LONG long time. I also dug into my wife's fish and chips. The fish was awesome, perfect fry on them... I really enjoyed Quarter Celtic, I first tasted their mead at the NM renaissance faire, and knew I wanted to go try their beer and food as well. It did not disappoint! Located in a great space inside the plaza behind Ace hardware, the service was quick, and it made for a great place to relax and have a few beers. I've been meaning to come here for a very long time and regret putting it off. If I lived in Albuquerque, I'd eat here weekly. The menu had so many things I wanted to try that it was difficult to decide. I went with the corned beef and cabbage and was not disappointed. The mustard on the side was a nice touch.
