    Love is metaphysical

There are two reasons that I come to gravity bound. One is the patio is absolutely amazing and they keep making it better. Seriously I would totally hire them to do a pergola in my backyard. The other is while I'm not a beer drinker, I freaking love their kombucha. Love is metaphysical is my absolute favorite but even the one they currently have on top which is a little more citrusy is also beautiful. They're really good about keeping out that vinegar taste from the kombucha and it's genuinely the best I've had.

Nice place for a relaxing beer. Great beer selection, pricing, and outdoor and indoor seating.

Nice place for a relaxing beer. Great beer selection, pricing, and outdoor and indoor seating. Servers were very warm and helpful, they didn't have food options themselves but a pop up pizza seller was making pizza on their location. Excellent location for refreshing drinks and relaxed socializing!

One of my favorite downtown patios by far! They recently just renovated and elevated their patio experience! The vibe is super chill and they always have a great selection of brews that rotate pretty frequently. The bartenders recognize us by now and are always friendly and welcoming! Great for a chill Sunday vibe or an after work treat :) Also if you love food trucks, they have a pretty good lineup including New Mex-a-Que and Teo's Tacos. Treat yourself next time you find yourself looking for a sweet patio to just vibe.

Really enjoyed this spot. This was my second time here. The first time was for a run club run where it was warm enough to enjoy the patio space. Last night we were bopping around trying ABQ spots that had beer and kombucha. Nice that they had a palo Santo kombucha on tap that was pretty tasty. Not a ton of beer, a Mex lager, 3 IPAs and another beer. Enjoyed the vibe, allowed to bring babies and kiddos and they had a Mexican food truck outside. Bartender was super nice and chatted with us a bit before we grabbed a table to watch the CFP game on their TV. Loved all the plants in the space too!

Life of Utter Gravity We stopped into this quaint brewery and tasting room to sample some of their suds, and we were blown away. A relatively young brewery, as Gravity Bound Brewing has been in business for less than five years but has quickly put the New Mexico brewing scene on watch with their stellar beers and their Quick Take IPA winning an award at the '22 NM Brewers Guild IPA Challenge. It's truly worthy of the award, as it might be one of the best Hazy IPAs I've ever tried with a smooth grapefruity finish with bold, hoppy flavor. The service here is also phenomenal, as they're all too happy to pour you sample shots to help you make a decision on what to imbibe in. No food but a welcoming, fun ambiance that you're more than welcome to bring your own food from home or wherever you choose. I believe they do have food trucks pulling up at certain days, but check the schedule as there was none during our visit. Dog-friemdly covered outdoor seating and street parking only rounds out what you'll need to know about visiting Gravity Bound.

We came here for post-dinner drinks. It was a nice spot for great beers. The brewery was also just wrapping up a trivia night and it seemed to be a nice community. I ordered a hazy and my partner ordered a festbeier. Both were delicious!!!!

My beer, The Pon Pon, was delicious, and the service was great. There is a nice outdoor space and the staff was helpful and kind.

Hazy IPA - A glass of hazy IPA beer with a logo on it is placed on a wooden table outdoors. The glass casts a shadow on the table, and the background includes outdoor chairs, a building, and a clear blue sky. The scene suggests a sunny day at an outdoor seating area of a brewery or bar.

Always been a fan of the friendly service and the beer. I'm not a big fan of crowded breweries that over rated . This one is my favorite and not too crowded . I wish they had some patio heaters or fire pits but it looks like they're looking to improve!!

Pleasant spot. Not the most beers, bit the ones they have are always great. Indoor and outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the homeless community is anchored just up the street.

What a great little jem! We tried another local brewery and it was packed so we looked at the map and tried Gravity Bound! What a great little place!! Having the Lemon Layer that has lemon and raspberries and coffee. Such a great flavor!! We are so happy to have found this place. We will be back!!!

We were visiting New Mexico for the annual Balloon Fiesta and we always have to check out the breweries in town! We found this gem and my oh my! So happy we did!! Parking is on the street and a little tight. Once you arrive, you first see all the cute plants they have hanging from the ceiling and all around the place. Felt like being in a small botanical garden. We had their award winning Quick Take Hazy IPA. And let me just say, it did not disappoint. I would go back anytime. 10/10

Cute place that has good beer. It's just the perfect establishment for a nice evening (if it's not too hot or cold outside).

Sadly, we found kind of a mixed bag. First, the standout items. The margaritas were fantastic; some of the best we've had in the USA and extremely generous. The pinto bean sides were some of the best we've had since returning to the States in 2013. Perhaps not quite as great as those of the shuttered El Cotorro but still stellar. Next, the tacos. We tried only two of the several tacos on offer - The El Pastor and the Pescado. Both were served in what was called "corn tortillas" but these differed from virtually any corn tortillas we've ever had in Mexico or elsewhere. They were at least twice as thick as your typical corn tortilla found in just about all Mexican taco places in Mexico and elsewhere. The consistency and taste were quite different from your normal corn tortilla also. In fact, they really didn't seem to have much taste at all, of corn or anything else. Now to the fillings. At the aforementioned El Cotorro, the meat for the Al Pastor tacos was cooked on a vertical rotating spit which was the only way we ever saw it cooked in Mexico. The meat La Reforma used in their al pastor tacos was more chunky and way drier than any we ever had in Mexico or at El Cotorro. It didn't taste similar to any al pastor tacos were ever had in Mexico. It also kind of seemed like it wasn't cooked recently whereas in Mexico you can watch the cook with a large knife carve off the meat from the vertical spit right in front of you. Usually the time between the carving and it sitting in front of you is under 10 seconds. The fish taco at La Reforma was disappointing. The fish resembled a fish stick but one without much flavor. We wouldn't order it again. We gave the mini-churros a try for dessert. Because they were so small, they were way crispier than your typical regular-sized churro. We might return but we'd skip the al pastor and the fish tacos and try some of the other tacos. But we strongly suggest that they dump their current "corn tortillas" because they're not that good. Way too thick and virtually tasteless. Lo siento. Kudos for the margaritas and the beans. The rest of what we tried didn't live up to the recent glowing review in the ABQ Journal.

From the moment we arrived, the service and ambiance were warm, welcoming, and where we wanted to be! Large and open, Bow and Arrow is spacious for folks to come for pint, small groups, as well as large groups and company events. We sat at the bar for more face-to-face service and had a great experience. We each got a flight and loved the ability to try four different beverages each since the menu is so extensive, creative, and delicious! I got the "Dos Arrows," "Wildly No. 1," "Bury My Heart," and "Lav Letters to the SW." I listed them in order of my favorites. Each beverage was complex, unique, and delicious! I would have enjoyed a full pint of each drink! Alas, 4 5oz beverages was enough! Prices are reasonable for such high quality beverages! We also loved that the brewery recognizes Indigenous land rights and supports Native American initiatives. Euro-Americans have much to learn from Native peoples, the original stewards of this land. But first, relationships, listening, and reparations are needed! We loved Bow and Arrow Brewing. We look forward to visiting again next time we are in town!

Our drinks were decent with the blue berry açaí cider (the blackberry cider was too dry) and one of our friends had an IPA. I had the turkey pesto, the hubby had the Nashville hot fried chicken, and our friends had the Boese and the Cali burgers. The turkey pesto had a decent amount of turkey, but needed more pesto. The Nashville hot chicken was tangy more than hot, but it had a good flavor and on the drier end. Our friends described their burgers as ok. The fries were also ok.
