Great brewery with good service and nice views. The beer is great and so are the green chilies cheese burgers. The only thing is the food menu is limited and I wish there was a little more of a selection but overall it is a nice and relaxing and would highly recommend this place I don't think you will be disappointed. read more

The new kitchen and expanded menu is much better then the old menu. Problem is the kitchen sometimes closes early without notice. If you are coming in and expect to be able to order food until 9 pm think again. Chili's for dinner tonight I guess. $5 Presidente Thursday, yum! read more

Bosque North - Breweries Near Me - Bernalillo, New Mexico

I'm glad to see Bosque North here in Bernalillo. It's BIG inside which is a good thing because the few times I've been there it's been crowded. Service is the "order at the counter and we'll bring it out to you" style. I don't mind that at all. The menu is limited and it would be nice to see this expanded but, after all, this place is a pub and so you probably come here for the beer and the camaraderie and less to the menu options. Lots of outside picnic table style seating if that's your thing and plenty of table indoors. Dogs are also welcome which is nice to see although I don't understand why folks want to bring their pooches to restaurants. I live nearby and will go back but mostly for convenience and not because it's an experience I HAVE to enjoy. read more

Recently hosted a birthday bash there and it was awesome! i had set this up with the GM; Audrey, who was very helpful. there were about 25 of us and the staff at the brewery were helpful and attentive. minor hiccup; one of the guest didn't get their food. All in all, it was a big success. the birthday boy (age 42) was very pleased. Audrey had set up a reserved table for us and none of the staff balked at separate checks. the views at this location are out of this World. next time i will request to be seated upstairs. so now on to the food & beer WOOO HOOO! you must try their green chile burger and fries. actually, all their food is amazing. there is no "hit and miss" with this place. it is consistently great food. their beer is some of the best around. there were beer snobs and food snobs and maybe some plain old snobs in our group and i kept hearing how wonderful everything was. the next day, people were texting me telling me how much fun they had and how great the food and ambience was. Audrey had graciously offered to keep our birthday cake in their walk in fridge and set us with plates and forks for the cake. I would highly recommend this place for a special event. heck for any event or any day that the sun shines in NM! im giving this place a two thumbs up because that is all I have. RUN do not walk there, NOW! you won't be disappointed. read more

Hit or miss . Been ordering food here for the past week. The Philly was very disappointing more bread then meat.

Good food and price, staff was friendly and helpful, seating was lousy, it was punishment to sit in hard steel stools with no back. I stood and ate, get better chairs! read more

Better menu, better prices, great beer. Still could use better seating. No chair or stool backs, so anyone with back issues will be disappointed. Would still like table food orders. read more

About a week ago my Wife, Son and myself enjoyed a lunch and refreshments at Bosque North. We like this new facility and there product very much. Unfortunately when we left after stopping on the way out to purchase a growler I left behind my zippered hoodie. When we arrived home my wife called and whoever she spoke with found it and put it away for us. My wife told the person she would be in later in the week. My wife went on the following Saturday to get another growler and my hoodie. The manager could not find it and told my wife it was gone and that they would keep an eye out. WRONG ANSWER. Try, I will ask my employees who took it and get it back for you. THIEVES are not good employees. Unfortunately we will have a hard time returning unless this gets resolved. It was a Brown Zipper Hoodie with a logo " TEI Rock Drills, Team TEI". UPDATE: The folks at Bosque found my hoodie. I haven't picked it up yet but am happy that it was found and is waiting again. The beer was great as always and the view is insane but the seating was limited and the building was hot. I love the food at the Las Cruces Location so we ordered wings and yucca fries. The fries were more like bad French toast sticks... would recommend eating before visiting. read more

I'm updating my review after having gone back several time over a period of several months. The beer is consistently delicious and that is a must. The servers have gotten significantly better especially as the initial crowds have died off and probably on account of the summer crowds gone for winter. The kitchen has been updated and the menu looks great. But the seating inside is still an issue. There aren't any great spots for a group of eight or so to hang together except one. The long narrow tables aren't conducive to conversation with friends in large groups. The staff could still work on being friendlier. I've overheard staff cursing and complaining about customers and have seen them joking around with each other instead of working while I spent significant time waiting for my server to check on me. Things have definitely improved but still have a bit of a way to go. read more

Food was really good the salsa off the chart good. Problem here is customer service sucks and getting my order wrong sucks. I just ate the wrong food without complaint. I was good but not what I ordered. If you ok with suck service the food is good . read more

We decided to give the restaurant another chance. It is close to us and they obviously spent a lot of money on their restaurant so we thought our first experience may have been just a bad day. The truth is this visit was no better. Although we actually got food this time the service was marginal at best. It is open seating and it took 5 minutes for someone to help us. In fact when we flagged a person down she acted surprised like we just appeared out of nowhere. The table next to us was a family with two small children. A glass was dropped and broke on the floor. The glass was cleaned up but the water was on the floor for a couple minutes before getting wiped up. At least 5 people walked through it without seeing it. I thought someone would slip for sure. When the water was finally cleaned up they used a rag. It worked fine but then she used the rag to wipe off the table. Literally she had her foot on the rag on the ground and then used the same rag to wipe off the table. She wasn't wearing gloves and she was the same person that served our food. There could have been small shards of glass on the rag that could have been transferred to the table among other obvious issues. The food was just ok, the service wasn't great and the way they run the business is very unorganized. We won't ever go back. read more

Fabulous place! We go there all of the time! We love the beer. The food menu is limited but really good. They said they are going to extend the menu as soon as they can. The service is great! Fun time! read more

I met a friend after work for the green Chile cheese burgers and a beer. We sat out on the lower patio and had a great time. Views were great, burgers very tasty and moist, salad fresh and cool ( 1 suggestion I asked for no bun with my burger and I could have used a plate and not the paper in a basket) beer was cold and flavorful, service was great. Over all an excellent experience. read more

Come here for the mountain views not the food. Beer is disappointing. Green chile stew was greasy and flavorless with no bite. Meatless nachos had chips, some cheese and a bit of picante. Skimpy. Mountain views unsurpassed. read more

Horrible customer service. We walked in and 4 employees are sitting there and gave us a horrible and rude look. I asked a question to receive a rude response. So sad to have such a beautiful building ruined by a ugly attitude. I will be sure to inform all the people I know to not waste their time or money here. read more

I had lunch with a friend at Bosque Brewery today. When I paid the bill, our waitress told me that staff had been directed to tell patrons that there would be no tips today, and that anything we entered in tips (on electonic payment) would be donated to a fund being established for scholarships to minority students. I asked the waitress how she felt about that, and she said she really didn't know. I then tried to give her a cash tip, and she told me she couldn't take it or she would be fired. I am pretty incensed, and will never go there again. If they had asked or had a donation jar, I likely would have donated. As it was i did not. I feel it is extremely unfair to they mostly very young, likely college age wait staff to have to give up tips the probably really need right now. I'm not even sure it's legal. read more

This is my first visit to this establishment. The waitress was rude. I asked for my burger medium and it was well. She acted like it was an inconvenience to her to take it back. read more

I was meeting my friends for a couple of brews after work and witnessed an encounter that was really disturbing. A guy that was on the patio came in to order a drink and headed back out to the patio through the front door. He was told he couldn't go out that door to the patio with his drink and was accosted by several employees saying it was illegal . I even heard that they would call the police. A male employee grabbed the beer out of his hand! And a female employee called the police. This guy was not drunk or causing any disturbance! I think with the construction on 550 and with the concerns about public gatherings they would and should be more careful about treating their customers with appreciation and respect. Good luck to their future. I won't be back read more

So I have total mixed feelings about this place but in all fairness they are a four out of five. The worst parts were the chicken and gravy on the poutine were cold when they hit the table and the burger was medium when I ordered rare. But let me now talk about the great things. First off the view is outstanding. you have this perfect view of Sandia and Placitas and the wind hits just right that it's never too hot. Next the customer service is outstanding they take walk in and let you chose your table. The beer was top notch, if you like hazies get the hazy ipa, one of the best in Albuquerque. I can't recommend the poutine, but that may be because I'm from Vermont and spoiled, but let me talk to you about their burger. So it may have been over cooked but that didn't matter because it was one of the first properly seasoned patties I have had in this area. The fries could use some work but hey it's a brewery. Honestly it's a great place to come and relax. I would recommend this to any friend and will be coming back. read more

Bosque North - The view - Breweries Near Me - Bernalillo, New Mexico

The views are by far the best part, but the way they designed and utilized the building is just awesome. The beer was really good and the food was tasty as well. I'm hoping that more breweries follow suit with creating a great place to hang out and enjoy a pint. read more

Being conservative with my rating, as the beers are good as always and so was the service --- but we were there when this location was only open a few days and there were only several people there. The building is engineered for MASSIVE crowds, with large areas and logical traffic flow planning (wide stairs!). You have to get used to the food ordering procedure, but it DOES work well for both the customers AND staff. You go to the counter to order, pay, and receive your order number with a stem stand, and tell the person whereabouts you're seated so your order comes in a more timely manner. I'm preparing you. Please understand this is how it is, as logistics for this large place would NOT support the traditional waitstaff assigned to your table method. I hope to see better reviews once people get used to the system. GREAT location, we've been waiting a few years for this! Nice views from the upstairs lounge, and super nice staff up there. read more

We decided to visit Bosque Brewing for our first post-coronavirus outing. The service was VERY SLOW. The food was okay. But what really bothered our party of 4 was that we were told at the end of our meal that we could only have TWO beers. This was not due to the Governor's order, but the establishment's own decision. We were not told this when we were seated. We were very disappointed that we couldn't sit and relax and visit over another beer, so we left and went up the road to Kaktus Brewing. In my opinion, SKIP Bosque and go straight to Kaktus. It was so cozy and pleasant. The people are fantastic and friendly and NOT PRETENTIOUS! This was our first and LAST visit to Bosque. read more

Not impreased with the service The upstairs with the great views was closed The bartender didn't really know his beers or the cost. The porter was great but probably won't come back. Nobody greeted us and we wandered until we figured out where to order because the main bar was full. read more

Sat on the patio for 15 minutes and were not acknowledged by a single waiter/waitress. Left before ordering. Terrible customer service

I'd been wanting to try this place in person since I like the Scotia ale. We called and were told the kitchen last call was at 6:45. We then drove 1.5 hours in the snow, arriving at 6:20, only to be informed the kitchen was closed already. No apologies, no nothing. Disappointing to say the least. Maybe next time, but probably not. read more

I was a regular at Bosque's San Mateo location, and after it closed recently we decided to give Bosque North a try. I was a little disappointed at the limited menu compared to the San Mateo location...no wings or falafel sliders to be found here! But I decided to give them a pass and focus on the great beer and the atmosphere. Unfortunately the management worsened my experience. We had an issue dealing with another customer, so I immediately went to find the manager to ask for his help. As manager listened to my situation, his eyes glazed over and I could feel the panic in his voice, it was clear he had no customer service experience. The second our conversation was over I watched him to behind the bar and continue to pour beers and take orders from other patrons instead of rectifying our situation. We had to ask 3 more staff members for help solving our problem before I eventually had to embarrass myself and resolve it myself. Very disappointed with the management and level of customer service at this bosque location. read more

Food was disappointing. You have to stand in a separate line to order food and then take a number. Separate tab for beer. The food is NOT GOOD and expensive for what you get. Tried the green chile mac and cheese for 7.50 and you get a side dish portion that is very dry with very little cheese. We were with a large party that covered most of the menu and everyone thought the food was disappointing! The building is nice with great location and great view, but will not return with current food structure and quality. Beer is just OK. read more

We stopped by for dinner, found a seat and a server brought us waters and menus within 5 minutes. She said one of them would be by momentarily to take our order. 20 minutes later no one had come by so we decided to leave. As we were walking out the same server thanked us for coming. Definitely won't be going back. read more

Oh Bosque....I like to think i'm an easy date and don't ask for much?? I want to love you but alas I can only give you 2 stars for my experience at this location. The seating was horrendous. Very little seating available with standing room only inside. People were tripping all over each other inside as a clear safety hazard. The parking was similar with people parking all over the place. We finally found a table near the second bar upstairs (hidden almost) and that bar was poorly stocked at best. The beer (While they had it ) was great! But they ran out and offered me something else then waited 5 minutes to find out it was empty as well! Their solution?? Go downstairs and lose the table we waited 20 minutes for..... I went downstairs leaving my friend by himself to search for food we saw people had but was having a hard time finding the location of this food (Hidden in the back behind lots of pillars btw). Got in the food line and guess what?! They were out of almost everything I tried to order. Ultimately I hope it is new location jitters but that experience was just awful and I have not been back since. I may try it if I don't see 10,000 people there while driving by in hopes they actually have food and alcohol at this restaurant/bar. read more

I went to Bosque North for their Scary Movie Bingo event...the flyer said the event was going to go on from 6pm-9pm and I got there at 8pm but they were already done. It was definitely a super bummer to get there and see they ended their event way earlier than they advertised. Since I was already there my friend and I stayed and I got some cider drinks which were yummy. However, my biggest peeve about the place was all the seats were bar stools, which were really uncomfortable (fyi I'm 35, so I'm not an old fart just yet). I really think they should reconsider their seating and get some more comfortable options in the downstairs area. We tried to go upstairs to their balcony since they had some couches there, but it was dark and cold and pretty empty up there so we went back downstairs for a better vibe. I had a good time chatting with my friend and the cider was good, but it was definitely not a good first impression. I would probably go back again at some point in the future, but I'm not racing to get there any time soon. read more

We have always enjoyed going to Bosque brewing but every time we go to the location in Bernalillo the wait staff is dismissive and rude. We will never return which is unfortunate because the location is such a beautiful one, but you couldn't pay me to go back and be mistreated by the staff again! read more

Beers were delicious (I'm not really a beer guy, more into bourbon and wine so take that into account). I sat at the bar. Staff was attentive and friendly. Music selection was a very eclectic mix of everything (some rock, old school hip hop, dance, all stuff I like). I had very low expectations given its sort of off the beaten bath. I'm an out of towner, a foodie and admittedly slightly snobby so I'm not an easy customer. Burger was good but not piping hot as cheese wasn't fully melted and fries were good but not pipping hot. That's why 4 instead of 5 stars. I would go back if I'm in town again. read more

What happened to the great service we use to get at Bosque? We came for dinner and drinks tonight and the service was awful. Got a table right away and they brought us menus, then we waited and waited and waited. Tables that came in after got served drinks right away and the wait staff just kept passing our table. I finally went up to the bar to order and they were surprised no one helped us. It was a little busy but not horribly crowded.
