Not quite sure why the ratings are so low. My Man and I came here for a late night cap before we headed bAck to the hotel. This place is new and clean. Never been to NM or had this beer and the server was super nice and gave us a bunch of samples and told us some background on the space lion which was heartbreaking to hear but really cool way to honor the owner's son. Highly recommend the open space haze! read more

Had the cheese curds awesome hard to find. Beer is always cold and tasty. Service is friendly and knowledgeable of the menu

Start with the positive. Beers were really good. Now for the rest. service was terrible, they clearly need more staff. Just to order the first drink took 15 minutes. Getting a second drink took us waving over of the manager to get service as it had been over 30 minutes since we'd seen our waiter. Back to good news, 2 of 3 of us received the meal we ordered!!!. Bad news, 1 never received their meal!!. 20 minutes later we had to cancel the order and requested the check. Good news again, the waiter was willing to remove the meal that we did not receive from our bill. Very kind. Bad news, he didn't offer anything else to the person who did not receive his order. Free beer? Removal of 1 beer we'd ordered? Something? Bottom line, good for a beer at the bar, but don't get your hopes up for more than that if you order food. read more

I thought the food was pretty good. Really liked the hard cider. It was just an odd atmosphere. We went on a Saturday afternoon and could not believe how many kids were in there. I was like this is a brewery right? Kinda strange and hard to find a place to sit. I felt like I either needed to have kids with me or be ok sitting picnic style with strangers. I think I'd go back, but not sure when the ideal "time" would be. read more

Reading the reviews it sounds like more of a gamble going here than next door at the casino but it was a nice night and we wanted to be outside so gamble we did. Either this place has fixed some things or we got lucky, it was outstanding. Everyone agrees the beer is great, but the burgers, the tacos, the chips and salsa were all perfect. The service was fairly flawless as well, although I will say it is a bit confusing since it seems that any server can help you wherever you are according to our first server, kinda like zone coverage from your servers but it never seemed to be an issue. Final word, go ahead roll the dice and visit here, it could go great like tonight or horribly wrong, either way the beer is good and isn't that all that really matters? read more

This place was a treat. The food was good and the staff even better. Erin and Liz were AWESOME and very personable. Truly made the dining experience enjoyable. read more

was excited to show this spot to my boyfriend who came with me to visit family from the SF bay area. We had never been. Arrived at 9pm. Place was going strong and even other cars were pulling up. Nobody was masked. Bartender was in the middle of pouring a drink. Walking in and immediately was told they were closed now when the evidence around us suggested otherwise. We were masked and non white. I can't help but think these played a role. I just read another review from earlier tonight from Greg who also shared how poorly he and his group was treated because they were wearing masks. Come on people, I'm willing to bet they had the measles, maps, rubella and polio vaccines because they didn't want those illnesses at some point. Very illogical. Or if you hate science why not hate it internally, why be rude to patrons? Why is Sars CoV2 still up for debate? read more

Potentially racist establishment.. stay away! We got here by 9 PM on a Saturday night and we were told the place was closed, when clearly it wasn't (closes at 10 PM according to google maps/Yelp). It was bustling with people who were unmasked and we walked in masked, so they either had a problem with us being masked and/or they're racist against brown people. Ruined our Saturday night and we left feeling horrible about the whole ordeal. read more

We have been here many times. It is a beautiful location with a stunning view pf the Sandias. We were seated fast. Then proceeded to wait 20 minutes before we hailed one of the staff so we could be waited on. She was great and decided to wait in us because " no one knows who is supposed to be your server". We ordered and place part of the order to go. I appears the "to go" order was not placed until we were done eating. So that meant another 30 minutes just waiting on this order. We know food establishments are short handed these days, but this was absolutely ridiculous. I think our last visit here. There are a lot of other breweries around with better beer and food and a lot less sitting around. read more

We recently were vacationing in the Albuquerque area and camping right down the street from this cool look brew pub and decide to try it for lunch. It was not very busy, even at the height of the lunch hour, so we were wondering how it was going to be. We were seated right away and ordered some local beers and ice tea. The custom brews were very good - unfortunately I didn't write down the names ! For lunch we had an order of wings and the chicken tacos. All of them were very good - we shared around the table. We had the Asian sauce - we didn't want the wings too spicy. I would order both of these items again ! The tacos had grilled chicken with all the usual taco fixin's - great flavor. The only negative we had - service was very slow even with the place mostly empty. That kept the rating from reaching that 5 ! read more

I wanted to be leaving a five star rating. This location and establishment is amazing and cool. I was impressed by what I saw and loved it. There is a BUT... Because the public house location is by far one of my favorite places to go I was excited to plan my Cinco de Mayo at Bosque North and check out the new spot. I was sadly disappointed, there were no festivities planned for Cinco de Mayo. To my own amazement the entire establishment was full of kids. So I am not judging but in my day when I went to enjoy beers, I got a baby sitter. I don't want to drink around kids. Breweries are BARS with out liquor. Why would you ever think it was ok to bring entire sports teams of children here??? For the food??? Really??? There is a subway up the road!! Notice there is NO children's menu! We were carded coming in the door because state law says I can't have a beer without my ID on my person. I get that completely; it felt strange coming into a Brewery that was more like Dave and Busters without the arcade. Service was great, food was decent but I literally had to move upstairs to hear my friend at my table because of all the noise from Children at the brewery. Lol read that again. Do you understand why this is not ok??? Children watching the drinking habits of adults??? This ruined my experience I paid for my meal and drove ALL the way home to Nob Hill to have my beers with adults only. You may think your kid is great and he/she might be but I do not think even good kids should be in a bar and I feel like some places should still be considered adult even if they serve food. Ultimately the sad part of this is that the money is more important. So I'll still donate to Bosque but stay in my own area. It was literally so stressful I feel I wasted my money and time. Lastly; Bosque please put those sea salt edamame on your menu at all locationsThey are Awesome and the only thing I enjoyed about North other than the views. I am over the hype and I choose to keep having beers with adults. In response to the manager/whoever Justin is...I live in Nob Hill. I don't want to come during the week or a different time. It's not convenient for me so I won't be back. I found edamame a block from my house for $4.25 and no screaming kids. I am appalled you suggested that. It is still a freaking bar and my availability is the weekend; as well as the soccer children your choosing over me to invade a what should be 100% adult space. You should work at a daycare instead of a brewery if you wanted to be around kids. Me...not a fan and frown that you think it is ok to serve adults beers while they are driving with children. Boo! Stop thinking of $!! Honestly, would you want your kid there watching & absorbing and with a drinking adult??? I think not. Shame on you Justin! The only way to make it right is keep the facility a brewery without children or quit selling beer to soccer moms and dads that bring minors. You could also just leave Bosque and open an after hours and weekend only daycare for parents who want to drink and YOU CAN DEAL WITH THEIR KIDS. Bottom line, kids shouldn't be in breweries! Period. No exceptions. Good luck. read more

The food and drinks were good. But the service at this location was a little disappointing. Server seemed bothered by us, and the bathroom had no soap. I saw an employee come out of the bathroom and go straight to serving drinks again. He couldn't have washed his hands because there was no soap. Kinda gross. Will still give it another shot in the future though. read more

Disappointing end to an otherwise incredible day of food and fun. Came here with a couple of friends. We ordered chips and salsa with a side of queso (2.25 up-charge). Chips and salsa come out. No queso. The server was gone before we could mention anything. One burger, one fish and chips and one sandwich were ordered for entrees. One person - that shall remain nameless - ordered dessert for dinner and went with the fudge brownie. The burger was flavorless and seemed to just be unseasoned ground beef. The queso came after the chips and salsa were gone. Fish and chips was bland. The shrimp po boy was basically a shrimp shaped batter sandwich. Worst of all was the brownie. It was a square of cocoa powder with no sweetness at all. Dense, dry and sad. Service was not worth mentioning because it was a mess that was indescribable. Beer and views were great but I'd rather buy a sixer from Albertsons and sit on the porch. You live and you learn. read more

Stopped for lunch passing through town. We had our pups with us and one of the servers saw us walking them before coming in and she invited us to bring them with us and dine on the patio. We didn't want to mess with them while eating, so we left them in the truck with the A/C on, but it's nice that the place is pet-friendly. The food was good. Nothing exceptional, but good. Both condiment bottles on our table (mustard and ketchup) were empty. We grabbed them from 2 other tables and they were empty too. Finally asked for condiments, which isn't a big deal, but you'd think they'd check the tables before opening for lunch on a Saturday. We didn't have beer, so I can't speak to it, but we did note that there are signs everywhere asking patrons to respect their 3-beer limit, so that's something to keep in mind if you go for the brew. read more

Beer selection was great. Food was not. My in-laws ordered the sampler appetizer and the fish and chips. Both said they wouldn't order it again. My wife had the nachos appetizer. It was ok. Enough for 4 people. I had the quesadilla with birria. It was tasty. Server Douglas was great. read more

What you'd be missing out on by not stopping here is the service. The employees. If you want a genuine experience where you're valued and entertained they're looking forward to your business. They have a range of beers made themselves. And their food offers a variety where you're bound to find something you love. Birria Beef is a winner to me whether it's tacos or a quesadilla. But the staff, the service, is where it's at. Don't miss out. read more

We have been here a few times for family dinner on our way out of town or after kids' soccer games. Service is excellent but they are always out of things that we eat...as pescatarians we want to eat the jack fruit or eat the mussels with the Thai sauce. They were even out of Mac and cheese today! The beyond burger patty is 20 dollars! Way more expensive than actual beef! Don't think we'll be coming back as we always end up having to eat our third or fourth choice. Stock up on those not so meaty options please! If it's on the menu it needs to be available more often than it. read more

Today was the first time in my life I was kicked out of the restaurant. I am usually pleasant with staff and a good tipper, very forgiving for the mix-ups. Today we waited for two hours for our simple order, while people around us were getting their orders. Finally, I asked our waitress if our order was lost. She assured me that it was coming right up... Sometime later she shows up with the food and says that it was delivered to the wrong table. I lost my temper. It was not a mix-up. I told her that it was unacceptable (quite harshly). The manager showed up and in a complete lie said that he wanted to give us a free meal, but because I was verbally abusive, he threw me out. The food was horrible, the service was poor and I left grateful to be relieved of the burden of pretending this was a good experience. The customer is not always right and neither is management. Bosque lost a repeat customer of multiple locations as well as someone who buys their product in grocery stores. If I could could rate with no stars or negative I would. read more

Visited Bosque north on our way out to Santa Fe! Left very pleased and very full! For food, the fried pickles were excellent, as were the blistered shishito peppers with red chili salt. So much flavor in both. The special of the day was green chili Mac and cheese which was extra creamy with huge noodles to absorb all the yummy cheese sauce. To drink we got a flight of 6, but somehow were the proud recipient of 7. One of the first times I have enjoyed the vast majority of the flight. Our server Dougie was great, very friendly and accommodating! In all an excellent experience! read more

I really thought this place was going to be amazing. They are situated on a bluff overlooking the famous Rio Grande with unobstructed views of the equally famous Sandia Mountains. I expected an endless balcony with comfortable furniture you would want to get there early for prime viewing. Not so. Instead I encountered a sparsely furnished patio with obstructed views and noisy children running around. I am sorry but I would like to relax, not be constantly interrupted by badly behaved children, which seems to be the norm these days. My next complaint is the whole set up in general. I went upstairs looking for the comfortable furniture and views only to find those cheap uncomfortable high barstools. After waiting a while I was informed you have to go to the bar and start a tab. If you want food you have to go get it yourself. But after going back downstairs it's not really worth the effort, typical fried chicken tenders and pretty much anything else you get in every bar that can be thrown in a deep fryer. What I don't get is why does everyone have a tip jar out when it's self service? When I go out I like to relax, if I wanted to wait on myself I would just stay home. read more

We have been a few times for lunch. The views are nice. I have just been disappointed in the food. The portions are small and sometimes the dishes they are served in are inappropriate for the food. Specifically I was eating a sandwich and realized it soaked through to table. Who knows what kind of germs I got with it. There are not any lemons for the tea. Today I got the Burris Tacos. They were soft with zero crunch and tiny. They were supposed to have cilantro and didn't. When I asked, they were out. The meal was very small for a lunch portion. We work in Bernalillo and would love a good lunch place. The shrimp po'boy was good but taken off the menu. If you are going for beer it is probably fine. read more

What a great space! We sat up top next to windows that overlooked the whole brewing operation- which is a great place to sit. I ordered my Bosque favorite, Elephants on Parade, and my husband got the hazy beer (forgot name). Both were good. I was surprised how much I liked his hazy beer,it was like an adult orange juice! I ordered a beet and goat cheese salad, the kids shared a hamburger, pretzel grilled cheese, and fries. The kids devoured the burger and grilled cheese (I was able to sneak a bite of the burger and wished I'd ordered by own- so tasty)! I'm looking forward to returning on a warmer day and enjoying the large patio and spectacular view of the Sandia Mountains. read more

Views are great. DIFFICULT to get into if you are trying to access from the East. Food is over priced, with a very limited menu and has a lot to be desired. Flies inside are horrible. Burger and fries $12, side of mac and cheese $7, salsa and chips $5 and 6 wings are $10. Bun was bigger than the burger, mac and cheese lacked cheese and wings were precooked and rewarmed, they were refrigerator cold. Place has potential if they can redesign menu. Service was poor and they acted like you were inconviencing them if you asked a question. We went on a week night and it wasn't too busy so there was no excuse for the rude behavior. read more

Longtime fan of Bosque. This location is not only not recommended for visiting, but you wonder what has happened with their tap room management. After *years* of preparation, and a well-publicized opening date, they simply couldn't cook. You read that correctly: they could not operate their own kitchen at their flagship location. During our visit, there was a hand drawn sign that said "Due to unexpected business volume, our kitchen cannot operate until 5pm." Then we were told verbally by our server that they wouldn't be taking orders until 6pm. At that point we went elsewhere. One more aspect: they didn't even have an extension at the corporate number (meaning the public can't call them on the phone), and when I spoke with an employee at the San Mateo taproom I was told "it's a full restaurant, and it's open." Verbatim. Bosque nees to do far, far better than this. read more

Awesome fish and chips! Berria tacos were to die for. Wonderful view and friendly servers. Will definitely go back.

Sad to say that I was super excited to come here but Emm... We ended up leaving. It's a new place and it looks freaking awesome BUT it's so packed! No where to sit, and our server was rude! Like what the heck!? All we asked was "what type of beer do you have?" And he looked at us and just said "you want to know what we have? We have beer." My friend said "yea we know you have beer but what kind or so you serve just one type?" And he got upset because he had to go ask since he didn't know and they had no menu to go off of. So we left. Another thing, their lights in the parking lot don't work and it's hard to see and not to mention we couldn't see the people walking right in front of us! I'm gonna hold off for a few months before I come back, and hope that just like beer or wine, it gets better with time. read more

The food is mediocre, and they are always out of menu items. Not kid friendly at all. There is not a kids menu so we had to order a $15 burger for our 3 year old. We've gone there 3 times now, because we've been invited to dinner by friends, and each time our server has scolded our children about staying in their chairs. The only reason they weren't in their chair was because we ate outside, and they were petting dogs that were also sitting on the patio. Seems like a millennial run restaurant, that clearly aren't partial to children. (our kids range from 3-6yrs). I gave it 2 stars because I think the local beer was good. Other than that, I'd suggest elsewhere. read more
