Chicken bites

Overall the food and drinks were good. The service was on the slow side though. It took quite awhile for us to get out first round of drinks and I had to ask several times for a to-go box. They did have some good Happy Hour specials.

I checked out Bonefish for there monthly 4 course pairing and last month the featured theme was "Wicked" the movie. They also featured a Halloween costume contest, with prizes. The drinks were very cute and the food was decent. The customer service was top tier, very accommodating and they were very on top of things. I left very full and excited to return, as I had not been to Bonefish in years. I have already told several people about it.

I came here because I had a gift card. The service was really fast and the bartender was great. I ordered the bourbon, grilled salmon and asparagus and mashed potatoes. The salmon was cooked perfectly and so was the asparagus, the mashed potatoes was a tad bit cold but I enjoyed my meal.

Probably one of my favorite restaurants in this area of Savannah. The service is always excellent and the atmosphere of course is it's great for a romantic dinner, lunch or casual gathering. Of course the bang bang shrimp was on point and I just ordered a simple burger this go round vice my usual fish choice. However it was excellent. Overall, definitely stop on by you won't be disappointed.

Bonefish typically comes through in a pinch. It did not let me down. We were seated quickly and the food is great. It's a good date night spot.

My mom and I wanted to get a good dinner on the way back home from the mall. They closed the Bonefish in Hilton Head so we decided to pop in here. Plenty of seats at the bar so we just settled in there. We were greeted quickly and the bartender let us know about a couple of specials. I ordered the blueberry lemon drop to start. It was delightful, but certainly sweet. The glass did get a bit sticky. We were considering salads and an order of bang bang shrimp when the bartender suggested the shareable portion. No-brainer for the price! So, we ordered the shareable bang bang shrimp and one Caesar salad. It was plenty of food for both of us. The bang bang shrimp as always was delightful. The sauce they use is seriously the best and has consistently kept me coming back for years. The Caesar salad was crisp, cold, and delicious. Paired nicely with the shrimp. I did also order essentially a French 75 with citrus vodka instead of gin - amazing! Elderflower, lemon, and sparkling wine match so well with the citrus vodka. Bonefish is always a warm and welcoming restaurant with great people and great food.

Bonefish Grill is a chain restaurant that has a variety of options. It can appeal to many budgets too. The location here in Savannah is in Twelve Oaks shopping center. You will see Publix, Five Guys, and Xfinity are also in this center for reference. There is plenty of parking. There is a crosswalk to get to the restaurant, watch out for cars! I am a fan of their happy hour and family bundles. Both are convenient and affordable. Happy hour is from three to six thirty every single day. Cocktails and small plates are seven dollars. Shareable starters are fifteen dollars. Family bundles are fifty two to sixty nine dollars depending on the proteins you choose. But you get: salad and dressing, bread with pesto, two sides of choice, and cookies of choice. It is a lot of food. I generally end up having leftovers for a few days. The service can be hit or miss. Sometimes it is fantastic, other times it can be problematic. It depends on your server and the kitchen. The bar is long and has plenty of room. It also has many bar tops with seats. This is nice so you do not feel crammed into the space. The restaurant space is on the other side of the bar. Bonefish Grill is worth the visit.

I came in to place a to go order. No one was in sight: neither host or bartender. I waited a while. There wasn't a large crowd inside nor did I visit during rush hour. The food I ordered was subpar for the time I waited. I've had better.

Dasia served me and my date for the Merry Martini 5-course Martini Pairing Dinner and we absolutely LOVED the service. After visiting for the same event last year, we were expecting upgrades to the experience-- and that's exactly what we received. Larger portions, private and intimate seating, and delicious food. I'm writing this review at my table because I'm so full (and I know I will pass out once I get home.) Our server was incredibly nice and sweet, forever smiling and providing great service. The other servers seemed the same as me and my date watched them fly around the dining room making sure our courses came out perfectly. This was a perfect way to end a weeknight! I will be back! Until next time BoneFish ~

While visiting Savannah, we knew we had to try a lowcountry seafood boil, and the Juicy Seafood…read morepromised a good time. The inside was surprisingly quiet, with most tables empty when we stopped by at 7pm on a Tuesday night. We ordered the Combo B with shrimp and crab legs (mild seasoning + garlic butter), along with a fried lobster tail and sweet potato fries. The bag of boiled seafood was definitely the star of the show. The shrimp tasted fresh and flavorful--not fishy at all--and the garlic butter seasoning was delicious. Cracking open the crab legs was a new experience for us and honestly kind of fun. There's something about working for each bite that turns dinner into an activity. We also tried the fried lobster tail. Unfortunately, the batter tasted almost burnt and overpowered the natural sweetness of the lobster meat. In retrospect, I would have ordered it boiled instead. The sweet potato fries were limp rather than crispy, which was disappointing. That said, the overall seafood boil experience really saved the meal. Our server was friendly and kind, especially since this was our first time at a seafood boil restaurant. She checked on us several times without being intrusive and helped us navigate the whole bibs-and-gloves situation. What our family loved most was the communal aspect--everyone digging into the same bag, cracking shells, passing pieces around. It felt interactive and different from just eating individual plates ordered off a menu. Would we go back? Yeah, probably--especially with grandparents or for a fun, hands-on dinner night out.

I checked the reviews and opted for the combo B (headless shrimp and snow crab legs) with the "Big…read moreBang" seasoning. I chose the "hot" level for spice because the waiter said the "mild" barely had spice that day. It was delicious! Came with melted butter dip too. The heat was building because I started getting a runny nose lol Our waiter was very friendly and even gave us some tips and information about the Savannah area. Service was 5 star! I got some rice, and gobbled most of that bag myself. My husband got chicken tenders with some sweet potato fries cuz he doesn't eat seafood, so if you're itchin for seafood but your guest isn't, there's still choices for them. Def would like to go again!

Erica Davis Lowcountry sits on Victory Drive in Thunderbolt -- a town so small it has exactly one square mile of land and a name borrowed from a lightning strike that supposedly split open a freshwater spring on the Wilmington River bluff. The restaurant itself has a similar origin story: a long-shuttered seafood spot called Teeple's, left empty for years, brought back to life by Erica and Dwight Davis with real care. The gaslight sconces out front stayed. So did the bones of the building. The garage doors open when the weather cooperates. We came in late on a Friday, catching the final stretch of their brunch service. Hannah (I believe) was our server -- in training, which you wouldn't have guessed. She steered us well and managed the table (and the room) with a confidence that didn't feel performed. We started with the Barbecue Shrimp and the Oysters Rockefeller. The barbecue shrimp -- Georgia shrimp in a spiced, rich sauce served with toasts -- was good but the one I'd skip on a return visit. The Oysters Rockefeller are the opposite story: roasted, finished with creamed collards and parmesan, and genuinely one of the better bites I've had in recent memory. Order them. My husband had the Wassaw Redfish -- pan-seared over stone-ground grits with garlic beurre blanc and heirloom tomato. Clean, confident cooking. I had the Sunday fried chicken, which delivered exactly what that dish promises when it's done right. Sides of fresh green beans, South Georgia collards, and Erica's Famous Coleslaw held their own across the board. Dessert was the Key Lime Pie, served in a cup that does not prepare you for how good it is. Tart and creamy in the right proportion. We didn't leave any behind. The family's seafood history in Savannah goes back to 1946. You can feel that kind of depth in a kitchen -- not in any one dramatic bite, but in the steadiness of it all.

She expressed that it was her favorite dish and the favorite dish of many customers. The flavors were great, and interesting. The dish had the potential to be an 8/10 or 9/10, but it was so incredibly salty that it was nearly unbearable. The signature dish was a 6/10, maybe, as a result. If it was fine tuned, it could be a great dish. We also had the Fried Green Tomatoes. Very nice. Would order those again. They were delicious. This is a cool spot, and if they dial in their food, it could be epic. Our waitress was a delight also. Really nice service. 3 stars is justified because, in spite of the good things noted, the core element for any restaurant must be their food and if the Shrimp and Grits is their "signature" dish, they should give it the same attention they give other areas that are going well.
