We were a party of 8, including three kids' meals and two pasta dishes. One of the pasta entrees came out 15-20 minutes after the rest of the table was served. We had to follow up and were told "2 more minutes," but it was quite a bit longer. Everyone waited so we could eat together, and by the time the final dish arrived, the rest of our food was cold. My burger was also overcooked and missing the signature sauce, which added to the frustration. For the price point, this experience did not meet my expectations. I've had much better service at my regular location, so I'm hoping this was just an off night at this particular restaurant. The service was okay and the place was clean. I checked out Bonefish for there monthly 4 course pairing and last month the featured theme was "Wicked" the movie. They also featured a Halloween costume contest, with prizes. The drinks were very cute and the food was decent. The customer service was top tier, very accommodating and they were very on top of things. She made sure we were well taken care of and our concerns were met. We did have a bit of a problem with this evening's meal, but Jaylen made sure we didn't leave unhappy. My mom and I wanted to get a good dinner on the way back home from the mall. They closed the Bonefish in Hilton Head so we decided to pop in here. Plenty of seats at the bar so we just settled in there. We were greeted quickly and the bartender let us know about a couple of specials. I ordered the blueberry lemon drop to start. It was delightful, but certainly sweet. The glass did get a bit sticky. We were considering salads and an order of bang bang shrimp when the bartender suggested the shareable portion. No-brainer for the price! So, we ordered the shareable bang bang shrimp and one Caesar salad. It was plenty of food for both of us. The bang bang shrimp as always was delightful. The sauce they use is seriously the best and has consistently kept me coming back for years. The Caesar salad was crisp, cold, and delicious. Paired nicely with the shrimp. I did also order essentially a French 75 with citrus vodka instead of gin - amazing! Elderflower, lemon, and sparkling wine match so well with the citrus vodka. Bonefish Grill is a chain restaurant that has a variety of options. It can appeal to many budgets too. The location here in Savannah is in Twelve Oaks shopping center. You will see Publix, Five Guys, and Xfinity are also in this center for reference. There is plenty of parking. There is a crosswalk to get to the restaurant, watch out for cars! I am a fan of their happy hour and family bundles. Both are convenient and affordable. Happy hour is from three to six thirty every single day. Cocktails and small plates are seven dollars. Shareable starters are fifteen dollars. Family bundles are fifty two to sixty nine dollars depending on the proteins you choose. But you get: salad and dressing, bread with pesto, two sides of choice, and cookies of choice. It is a lot of food. I generally end up having leftovers for a few days. The service can be hit or miss. Sometimes it is fantastic, other times it can be problematic. It depends on your server and the kitchen. The bar is long and has plenty of room. It also has many bar tops with seats. This is nice so you do not feel crammed into the space. The restaurant space is on the other side of the bar. Bonefish Grill is worth the visit. read more

This used to be one of our favorite restaurants. We've lived in Savannah almost 3 years now and would dine at Bone Fish at least monthly. We haven't been since before the holidays. I got that dreaded flu in Nov. and am just now getting out and about. The hostess was nice enough and immediately seated us in a booth as requested. Our waitresses name was Ariel and on a scale of 1-10, I'd give her a 5. She took our drink and appetizer order (bang bang Schrimp) always yummy and 15 minutes later, I still didn't have a cocktail. The nice hostess was passing so I inquired about my drink. The hostess promised to check and 1 minute later, here comes Ariel with my cosmopolitan. Ariel indicated the drink had just been made by the bartender and hadn't sat long. I didn't really believe that because there were no ice slivers in my drink. When the food came out, delivered by someone in the kitchen, the au gratin potatoes were not crisp and golden but nearly burnt. My lobster tails were ok. Not good. Not delicious.,My partner ordered a side Lobster Tail which did not come out with the entree. The server indicated the Lobster hadn't been added to the order by the cook and he would put the Lobster in ASAP. Still no Ariel??? She was not very attentive and didn't come by to check to see if everything was ok. We saw other waitresses checking on their customers frequently. After our meal, Ariel shows up with the check. She never asked if we wanted anything else or how our dinner was. I asked her for a piece of the coconut pie to go which was featured on a card at our table. I wish I hadn't. Later that night, we tried the pie. It was dry and hard to swallow. Very disappointed with this experience. We won't rush to go back there anytime soon. read more

After visiting for the same event last year, we were expecting upgrades to the experience-- and that's exactly what we received. Larger portions, private and intimate seating, and delicious food. I'm writing this review at my table because I'm so full (and I know I will pass out once I get home.) Our server was incredibly nice and sweet, forever smiling and providing great service. This is not a casual dining spot. Don't make the same mistake I did. It was nearby my hotel and I thought it was come as you are. It didn't attract from my dining experience at all, but I did feel underdressed. It's a beautiful space with a bar area and large restaurant. The service is very good and the food is even better. We started with a couple of martinis which were both outstanding an espresso martini and I had some kind of mango jalapeño one, I don't remember the name but it was the best combo of sweet and spicy in an old beverage that I've ever had. The food was phenomenal! I went with shrimp and grits and it was absolutely outstanding. I don't remember what my daughter had but she was raving about her meal as well. We were too full for dessert. Restaurant looked nice, but overall a very disappointing experience. I recommend downtown restaurants generally. Southside is mostly chains. I know this is a chain casual dining type restaurant. But, with the prices they charge, it was approaching fine dining pricing. We were on the Southside for business and stopped in. But, for the money it was really not fresh and not good. For the best value for the money, there are many choices downtown that serve fresh and chef prepared seafood. You will pay a little more, but it will be worth it. read more

I like Bonefish Grill my go to menu items are the Bang Bang Shrimp Appetizer and the Bang Bang Shrimp Tacos w/Fries, Mac and cheese or Ceasar Salad! I recently tried a Shrimp and Scallop pasta special and it lacked the flavor I was looking for.... My last two visits I ordered the Lunch Taco Combo! The first time it was great! The food was fresh and the portions were good! The second time my salad was really poor and not many shrimp on my tacos. I was disappointed. I'm not sure if the first time is the standard or the second time so I plan to try it again to make that determination. read more

We stopped in on Mother's Day because we were in the area and my husband had never eaten here. When we walked in, the hostess was extremely polite. She asked if we had a reservation and we said no. She told us the wait time was over an hour but the bar was open and we could eat in there. So, that is what we did. We found a place at the bar and had the pleasure of being served by Katie and Paige. Both ladies were super friendly and helpful. I had the best blueberry/lemon martini and my dinner was delish! I ordered the Butter Rockefeller (Alaskan Black Cod) and my husband had the shrimp/scallop scampi. Not only were we celebrating Mother's Day but my 21st anniversary of being cancer free. I usually enjoy Bonefish. However this visit was different. The drinks were not good. I had the pineapple martini and it was very bitter. I ordered the bonefish pasta and it was disgusting. There was no flavor at all. To make things worse the manager did not even come to the table to acknowledge us.
