The fish here was quite delicious. It was fresh and had a buttery, rich texture. Their twists on the nigiri are well crafted to elevate the taste but also subtle enough to not distract from the flavor of the fish. Every piece of nigiri that I got was very enjoyable as well as the waygu. The crab hand roll was a popular item but honestly not that impressive. It sort of reminded me of a tuna and mayo deli sandwich, but still good flavor. The staff here were really friendly and accommodating. It is a countertop only restaurant which is nice since you get to see them make the rolls. A rather simple space though with not too much ambiance.

I came here with my coworkers and we had an amazing time. The food was delicious and we kept placing order after order, and it was quick to come out. All the servers were quite friendly and happy. The menu is simple and not overwhelming, and the place is very cute. I was able to hear my coworkers and was not drowned out by music as that one is one of my pet peeves. Great job Bondi sushi.

handrolls & martini - best way to end the weekend

went this past sunday & got there $5 hand roll special & a lychee martini. the handrolls ordered were lobster & yuzu, yellowtail scallion, hot & spicy blue crab, & toro scallion. the hot & spicy blue crab is a must! i also appreciated that the lychee martini came with fresh lychees, it was so fresh & sweet. definitely will be back again for this special!

came here for a handroll making class. i thought the fish quality was good but not mind blowing. my friend got a piece of bone (???) in her slice. the service was friendly and ambiance not bad. the class was likely for people who never touched sushi/handrolls in their life so i felt a bit out of place for sure. anyways decent place

Absolutely love bondi as well as this location in Williamsburg. The staff is very friendly and attentive and the ambiance is gorgeous. The happy hour deal is hard to beat with $5 hand rolls that include lobster and crab and they have now also expanded the offers from my last visit to include crispy rice more variety of hand rolls as well as more cocktails such as the honeydew! This is well worth the price and we tried the creme brûlée for dessert and it was tangy and sweet! Of course I will stop by again!

Yes yes yessss! Honestly such a good neighborhood joint. Top quality. Chef is so nice and quick. $5 handroll on the HH 2-6. Wagyu only $14 and the best I've ever had.

$5 handrolls all day Sunday. Amazing deal. Ricee portions are small, but the fish portion is not. Amazing quality and deal!!!

Closer to 4.5 stars. Stopped by for takeout, which is around the back of the restaurant. Got the unagi bowl and the $5 lobster maki roll special. The quality is really good, loved the pickles in the bowl. The portion is not too big and it's a bit on the pricier side when you compare to other takeout places but the quality is definitely there. The restaurant had good vibes and looked really cute. I also liked the packaging of the takeout. I'll be returning to try their omakase!

I was happy to finally enter this location to try the food. Although the food was okay and looked fresh it was super small and pricey. The service was good they were attentive and explained the food options they had. The ambiance was okay it was empty when we went, we were the only ones in the location. The prices are too expensive for what we got. 60+ for two drinks, a small appetizer and small hand rolls.

I enjoyed my experience at Bondi Sushi! The restaurant only has bar seating and the service is very friendly. I highly suggest the crispy rice with Spicy Tuna & Salmon - so good! Slightly disappointed with the hand rolls, but everything else was very nice!

LUNCH SPOT: Really enjoyed this spot, mostly unexpected for a quick lunch trip. Waiter and Sushi chef were top of the line and supported us through the menu. We ended up getting Saki on tap (fantastic) whole will with large lunch special and 2 carafe of Saki (less than 110 total 2 people) we did the 2x 40 lunch special unsure how much the saki was but we had A LOOOT! Over all 5 stars was super cute. Delicious and communal atmosphere Deff great for couples, singles and small parties. Deff run to this location and give it a try!!!

Horrible sushi that made me sick. Did not seem fresh. It was also extremely overpriced.

We ordered one strawberry and one strawberry banana crêpe. They were filled with strawberries and bananas, and the outside was drizzled with glorious Nutella, which is a hazelnut chocolate sauce . The texture of the crêpes were absolutely perfect and that was the part I was most craving. I also loved the Nutella part. The banana and strawberry not so much as to me that didn't really have much of a taste, but maybe that was because the rest of it was super flavorful and over powered the fruit. All good and definitely satisfied my crêpe craving, but next time I would stop by to enjoy their desserts in person. The Kunafa looks particularly wonderful and has definitely peaked my curiosity.

Having a dessert spot in the neighborhood that is open late night and is serving flavors of our culture is nothing short of a dream come true. Not so great for my weight loss goals, though haha. Thank you, Moose. I came in here, and the place was absolutely buzzing, with groups of people enjoying their late night desserts- a testament to how much we needed this spot to just open and thrive and exist. I don't personally like cream Kenafa so I haven't really tried anything off their menu yet, but the Dubai chocolate crêpe is really calling out my name, and I am just going to bite the bullet and try it one of these days. I did go in to sample their Dubai chocolate. As a chocoholic, I am on a low-key search for the best Dubai chocolate bar in the city. This bar did not disappoint. The filling to chocolate ratio was perfect. However, I do feel that there is an over balance of crispy kanafa in the filling. I think it could use more pistachio cream and be a little on the runnier side. Can't wait to come back and try that crêpe. Until I am able to make that trip back, do stop in and enjoy a sweet treat in this cute little dessert shop. It's also Palestinian owned so you know you are supporting the right people and the right cause while satisfying that sweet tooth craving. What more could a customer ask for?

They've also got amazing cakes (including a fantastic carrot cake) and a great selection of treats that keep you coming back. What really makes this place special, though, is the owner, Peter. He's always welcoming, professional, and genuinely kind. He greets customers with a smile, takes the time to say hello, and creates an atmosphere that feels both personal and inviting. The staff deserves just as much praise--every single one of them is amazing: professional, friendly, funny, and kind. I've known many of them over time, and they consistently go above and beyond. Today, one of the staff members was incredibly sweet--she even brought my order out to me while I was sitting in my car. That kind of service is rare and really shows how much they care. Anyway, I was in Brooklyn with my brother to see a concert and had just finished dinner. We had some time before doors opened so we decided to grab a little ice cream before heading over to the venue. Farmacy was steps away - it all seemed like it was meant to be, so off we went. Farmacy aims to capture the nostalgia of an old fashioned soda shop and ice cream parlor. Immediately upon walking in we were greeted by aesthetics - the tile, fixtures, and decor totally give off that vibe. There are a few tables to sit as well as a large bar area with stools; I also noticed a few tables set up outside as well. The traffic flow is set up so that you order first and then have it served to you after sitting. Browsing the menu, I noticed they have a selection of ice cream scoops, shakes, egg creams, specialty sodas, hot chocolates, and a large variety of sundae creations. Since we were there for ice cream, we decided to split a sundae -specifically the Sir Twix-a-Lot. This was chunks for shortcake tossed in caramel and topped with vanilla ice cream that was coated in a chocolate shell. Overall I thought the sundae was solid - but the combinations of textures weren't my favorite to be honest, mostly with how the shortcake played with the ice cream. It wasn't bad though - the flavors definitely gave the Twix aesthetic. My only other issue with the dish was that because chocolate shell was used, any residue at the bottom was hard so you have to chisel it if you want to savor any last spoonfuls; I guess that comes with the territory. Service was good - everyone was friendly. It wasn't too busy when we were there so we had our selection of seats and our ice cream was ready pretty quickly. Overall, I'm glad I finally tried Brooklyn Farmacy out - they have a large selection so I would definitely return when I'm in the area again.

We did the prix fixe -- my wife got the steak shishlik, I got the trout. Before the actual entrees even arrived, we were already fighting for survival against wave after wave of hummus, babganush, potatoes, pickled cabbage, olives, Israeli pickles, and endless fresh pita. At one point I'm pretty sure the pita basket respawned automatically like a video game. We also ordered the halloumi which was delicious, but absolutely unnecessary. That cheese showed up like an uninvited cousin to Thanksgiving dinner. Nobody needed it, but somehow we were still happy it came. The drinks at the bar were the real MVPs. Fruity, dangerous, and exactly what you want while staring dramatically out a rainy window pretending you're in an A24 film. The trout was excellent. My wife's steak was slightly over salted, which honestly just gave us an excuse to drink more cocktails. Overall, 10/10 experience. Come hungry, leave bloated, slightly tipsy, and emotionally attached to the pita basket.

Seating space (not a lot of it, so I imagine it can get packed on busy times) and bathrooms on premises. Hot chocolate was delicious. We got the spiced dark chocolate and the spices were overwhelming. Get dark chocolate without spices. The extra dollar for marshmallow made the chocolate even sweeter, so it was overwhelming and I wouldn't recommend. But. The extra dollar for whipped cream would be nice because the their homemade whipped cream isn't sweet, so it will just thicken up the drink and give you that extra texture oooomph that you'll appreciate. Torino cafe is basically coffee added to any hot chocolate of your choice. That was tasty with dark chocolate. You definitely tasted the coffee and it was less thick than regular hot chocolate (which was on a thinner, sippier side). You can sample ice cream to make your selection. It's all very sweet, so if you're looking for a less sweet option go with Belgian dark chocolate flavor. For a $18 banana split you get three scoops of ice cream and a caramelized banana. Not a big portion for such hefty price. The tiny addition of toppings didn't make this banana split come together into a cohesive dish. Would get something else next time. Definitely not a good deal. Young lovely girls at the cashier were super friendly and accommodating. The not so young gentleman with a mustache who brought our order to the table was very dismissive and rude when we asked him to please bring us a correct order (he carried multiple orders and was harried to be done delivering them and barked something incoherent at us when we asked for help).

Flavor-wise, I tried the masala chai, black cherry cardamom, and the saffron soft serve. The saffron soft serve reminded me of the leftover milk from ras malai turned into soft serve, which was interesting and nostalgic. The masala chai and cherry cardamom were more subtle than I hoped. Some tasted unique upfront but left a slightly weird aftertaste that kind of lingered. I respect what they're trying to do and can see why people love it, especially if you're easing into more globally inspired desserts, but for the price, I wanted stronger flavor payoff and a cleaner finish. TLDR: Unique global inspired ice cream flavors, friendly staff, and free samples, but some flavors felt muted and had an odd aftertaste. Worth trying once if you're curious, but expensive for what it is.
