I love this place. It's my go to spot for Korean Fried Chicken. Alot of folks would say there's better Korean fried chicken places around but to me, this place is it. The food is good and they have a variety of dishes besides just fried chicken. I normally go for the spicy but you can get half and half or just soy garlic. They have a nice ambiance for seating indoor and there's plenty of seating and bar seats as well. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the service is great! Food comes out in a relatively quick manner even when there are many to go orders.

I live nearby and have been meaning to check out Bonchon for a while! It's very relaxed dining with a QR code with the menu and you place your food order online. I'm honestly not sure why they can't have the staff come to your table for your order, but the staff were all very friendly. I ordered the chicken Katsu, which I thought was really delicious but could've come with another side besides coleslaw. Thought that was kind of a strange side option. But the chicken was perfectly crispy! We weren't as impressed by the chicken fried rice, the chicken wasn't as flavorful and more of a rubbery texture. I think the cucumber on the side was a little odd too. But overall we had a good experience and it's very clean inside, I'll likely return when it's warmer out and I can sit outside!

The inside is never really busy. But the food is good. Highly recommend the bulgogi fries and their bao buns. I also tried the Korean corn and it was yummy but very cheesy. This is a great place to pick up food from or eat inside but be prepared for it to be kinda empty

Not the best but not bad. Certainly not authentic. If you go, there's a free parking garage right behind the restaurant which helps. Staff are friendly and wait time for food is minimal. You'll most likely order and pay from your phone, although I prefer actual menus. Prices are a little more than I care for but somewhat reasonable. The setting is fair. Clean tables and comfortable seats. I opted for a fusion dish, the bulgogi fries. Size was appropriate and flavors were decent. My wife had the japchae. Again, food is not very authentic but fair.

Bonchon has completely redefined what it means to dine out! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with an innovative, streamlined ordering system that makes everything quick, easy, and surprisingly fun. No waiting around--just tap, order, and relax while the magic happens. Now the food... absolutely next level. Every bite bursts with authentic Korean flavor--from their signature double-fried chicken to the perfectly seasoned sides. You can taste the freshness and love in every dish. But whatever you do, don't skip dessert. Their freshly baked Korean donuts are hands down the best way to end a meal--crispy on the outside, warm and pillowy on the inside, with a sweet finish that dreams are made of. Run, don't walk. Bonchon is the real deal!

    Very dry chicken

Very disappointed in the service for pick up order and the quality of the chicken. Went to go pick up an online order and the staff was rude and slow. One of the workers told me to go to the right to pick up the order, but no one was there, no cashier, no pick up person. Got 8 pieces of chicken strips half soy garlic and half Korean bbq. The chicken was very very dry as if it had been fried already and they just packed it into the take out box. Usually Bonchon chicken takes much longer for their order to be fried. Something seems off that the order was ready in 15 minutes. It was pretty dark inside. As a Korean fried chicken chain, this was a major let down. Paid $17.11 for 8 piece strips for reference. There are street parking spots outside.

There is indoor and outdoor seating and you can easily get a seat. Staff is very friendly and there is a parking lot that is free with lots of parking. Korean fried chicken - half spicy and half soy garlic: there is nothing better than the crunch that comes with their fried chicken. Each piece has a lot of flavor and both are delicious. The spicy is spicy, so beware when ordering if you don't like the spice. Chicken katsu- good but not great. Comes on top of rice.

Stopped in here after an evening performance at Twilight Tattoo. We were seated and visited promptly and placed an order for the garlic fried chicken, bulgogi fries and I think a side of Mac and cheese. The fries were hot and bulgogi was seasoned well and complimented the textures on the plate. The garlic fried chicken was slightly over cooked but still tasty with a nice balance of crunchy batter and tender meat. The Mac and cheese was a creamy blend of spice and cheese. Bonchon is a good go to for an easy and quick meal.

This place was definitely a hip place to eat at. When we came the traffic was slow but the service was impeccable. I loved how 90% of the restaurant was surrounded by windows so you could see out as yiu ate and all the natural light. I ordered the chicken katsu which was absolutely amazing with this tangy Zang sauce to dip it in. It also came w a side I chose kimchi coleslaw which was spicy and delicious. My husband got bugolgi fried rice and the flavors were to die for. My girls got wings. One got the spicy one which is HOOOOT!!! and then the soy garlic flavor wings was to die for. A little bit of both world's of the garlic and soy was in there and the wings was sooooo crunchy!! Over all amazing experience! Wish we had one in daytona!

It's a fun place to catch up with friends on budget. We just walked in, it wasn't so full. Food was good, not the healthiest options but tastes great. We happen to come during their happy hour, which is a great deal! Highly recommend. Happy hour drinks are very cheap and decent beer & wine to go with your fried chicken and skewer. Service is very slow, but if you're not in a hurry, It's not bad. I would recommend this place, especially their happy hour.

The loaded Bulgogi fries ($13 as of 9/30/23) were spectacular.

We said heck yeahhhh, so the decision was made AMBIANCE: Big space, pretty empty as we were one of the last people to eat before they closed! They were very accommodating-- letting us know their kitchen closed at 10:30 PM and the restaurant closed at 11 PM. When we arrived, it was 945, so we weren't looking to play around. We knew what we were gonna get. Onward we went SERVICE: My girl Arieles (PRETTY sure that's what her name was) was our server! She was so sweet and got us our stuff promptly. We knew we were coming in late so we weren't gonna waste time, but she was joyful to serve us regardless and I appreciate that. So many times people are FED UP, and it shows, to be at the end of their shift (and I get it), so it was nice to have someone of good demeanor to host us! FOOD: We ordered brisket, spicy pork belly, spicy chicken, and spicy bulgogi. First time trying the spicy Bulgogi for fear that it was gonna be TOO spicy and it was not at all! To reference -- I thought the kimchi was a bit spicier than the bulgogi! So try it, flavor is amazing! Can't wait to come again. I hadn't gone to KBBQ in a long while!

The setting is a bit dark with neon lights and table booths with their BBQ grills arranged around the restaurant. It did feel a bit tight for my legs due to the way the BBQ grill was set into the table. Service was great. The person attending to us helped explain the menu, how to order and decide on which proteins to be brought out. He would occasionally pop over and help grill our meats when we became too busy talking instead of cooking our meals. We ordered the All You Can Eat Option A and you are given 1 1/2 hr. to eat, don't know how strict they would be with that. Unless you are truly hungry, I would order an à la carte dinner instead of the all you can eat option. I particularly enjoyed the thick cut pork belly, steamed egg and spicy tofu stew. There were a few small portions of Banchan to go with our meal and you would need to order additional side dishes of noodles or rice dishes separately from the all you can eat menu choices. There were tried and true hearty portions of meats to grill and it was quite filling. Nothing extraordinary but tasty and a nice place to visit on a regular basis if you want a satisfying Korean meal.

I'm thinking that many people who come here know already what they want, because even before we cracked open our menus, the server was immediately at our table expecting us to place our order. When we told her we weren't ready yet, she left, but came back less than a minute later and then stood there waiting for us to place our order. So I ordered the Sullangtang, which is bone broth with brisket and noodles. JP ordered the Yukgaejang, a spicy red broth with veggies and flank steak. We also ordered the fried dumplings. I don't know if the fried dumplings were vegetable or pork, but they were very good, made even better with a delicious dipping sauce. As hoped, banchan was served with our meal, but was just cubes of daikon radish (kkakdugi) and kimchi. The kkakdugi and kimchi were fresh and tasty. Even if the Sullantang recipe is traditional, I was disappointed. The broth was thin and very bland. However, I was able to jazz it up and make it into a pretty good soup by adding spoonfuls of the Yukgaejang broth and the fried dumpling sauce, plus salt and pepper. The Yukgaejang, topped with crispy noodles, was the better of the two soups. It had a lively flavor and as billed on the menu, was indeed spicy. The menu is limited, almost exclusively vegetable and beef dishes, but there is a seafood pancake and whelk (mollusk) dish. No chicken or pork dishes. Overall, our experience was decent and we would certainly consider returning. Shin Chon has plenty of off-street parking.

So was the overhead music. Guess I expected a more authentic Korean experience, but the place was more or less an Americanized Korean bistro. Still, the foods seemed authentic! We ordered a few things to share... Mandu, Dolsot Bibimbap, and this Ssam Board. For drinks, my husband got some beer (?), and I got this fruity cocktail (??). First, the positives! The Mandu was really, really good...and quite meaty! The Dolsot Bibimbap was good in that it came with a generous load of fresh veggies. Now the problems. The Bulgogi in the Dolsot Bibimbap was problematic. It was a bit too fatty...and too chunky...and just hard to eat. It was also a bit bland! They should have cut it up a bit...or provided us with proper cutlery, like a fork and a knife! This is a pet peeve of mine...but nowadays, hardly any restaurant gives you the full set of cutlery. Just fork, or just chopsticks!! Then the Ssam Board. While it looked luscious, I personally had a problem with the meat. While I love Galbi, cuts of Galbi was all-out rare. The waiter didn't even ask for our preference, by the way. If I knew it'd be prepared that red, I would have ordered something else. If it was medium-rare, for instance, I might have liked this dish. My husband prefers a much more rare cut of meat than me, yet even he thought this was too red. Also, I expected something more than raddish for sides. Not sure if this "Board" was worth $42. We also tried this Black Sesame Ice Cream dessert. I loved the flavor...but nothing too special. Service was a bit off as well. While friendly at our table, our waiter wasn't too attentive...especially in the beginning. If he stopped by our table earlier, I might have gotten them to bring back the Ssam Board to cook the meat a bit more. Frankly, I was underwhelmed with the foods, the presentation, even the service. Overall, there were just too many things amiss (or just underwhelming??)...so much so that I doubt I'll pick this place again.

The green onion one was particularly memorable Our side dishes were excellent. Cheesy corn and seafood pancake. Both come out in cast iron pan, so it's piping hot and super fresh. Corn is hella cheesy and paired great with the appetizers. The seafood pancake was DENSE - really packed with seafood and not so much filler We got their combo so it came with kimchi soup and egg soufflé. The soup was very simple, very spicy. The soufflé was a nice contrast - light, fluffy, honestly almost felt like a desert.
