Since first dining at bb.q chicken a couple of years ago, we have frequently ordered delivery and picked up food from them. I don't know what sorcery they're doing in their kitchen to allow for their food to arrive at my door hot, crispy and delicious consistently but I'm not mad at it. All jokes aside, they'd cardboard packaging with vents is really innovative and sets them apart. The great quality of their products and their service is noticeable and appreciated. If you have a fried chicken craving, give them a try. You won't be disappointed.

Nice place open all day (from lunch through dinner). There are self service kiosks to place take out orders (for dining in it's still with staff at the counter). I came here to get some original recipe crispy chicken wings. They did not disappoint. Made to order (a bit of wait; she said 15 minutes for 8 wings). At least it's a good sign: not pre-made. Crispy, tender inside, and delicious. Well packaged too. I got the radish to go with it (very good to balance off the more greasy fried wings) Beautiful interior with tall ceilings and funky lighting

Bbq chicken is a decent korean chicken chain. They have a lot more flavors than Bonchon but I prefer Bonchon as their chicken is crisper and I like their spicy flavor more. That said, I still enjoyed bbq chicken as they also offer a variety of rice bowls with chicken or meat. Haven't been to any other location but like this location as service was good and they play kpop on multiple TVs

This is my new favorite Korean chicken spot! The chicken is incredibly crispy and always comes out piping hot. I've tried a couple of flavors, and while the soy garlic is my favorite, the plain is also good (and the crispiest). I really enjoy the rose deokbokki - it's perfect for anyone who can't handle too much spice but still wants rice cakes. I can't wait to come back and try other dishes on their menu, especially the kimchi fried rice.

I was pumped to see a bb.q Chicken when I was out and about the other day - you can't go wrong with some Korean fried chicken! I went with my go-to fave, the soy garlic wings, and they were delicious as always, even after my 30 min commute home in the cold/snow. I was feeling particularly hungry and got their kimchi fried chicken but I wasn't a fan - the rice was a bit undercooked and just left me wishing I'd picked up more wings instead.

This Korean fried chicken spot is a solid cheat-day pick! I ordered the half-and-half whole chicken (original and hot spicy). They cut the breast into wing-sized pieces, which I didn't mind. The original was my favorite--crispy, juicy, and perfectly cooked. The hot spicy had good flavor but didn't win me over as much. The cheese ddeok-bokki was indulgent and packed with salty, sweet, spicy, cheesy goodness--definitely a comfort food splurge. I didn't care too much for the side radish but its radish. A whole chicken easily feeds 2-4 people. I was stuffed after just three pieces and some ddeok-bokki.

This establishment is easy for me to walk to, I love stopping by to get a midnight snack or quick dinner. My go to is the rose tteokbokki with pickled radish. I think my only gripe is that the pickled radish doesn't come with any dishes, especially the fried chicken, it's an add on side.

Good but nothing really special. I would definitely come here again if I was in the area and needed food hut there was really nothing special about the items. The service was definitely on the slow side even though no one else was there. The fountain drink was really nasty tasting though.

We got several types of chicken and they were all really good! I especially liked the hot spicy, honey garlic, and soy garlic flavors. Service was great and fast. Vibes were very casual-- good to come with friends for some chimaek (chicken + beer) during the week!

We were surprised to see this new location in Arlington so we stopped by for dinner on the way back from DC. - Soy Garlic + Gangnam Wings -- appears abnormally large + too much breading + not much actual chicken - Tteokbokki -- prefer the traditional without cheese - Snowju -- combination of sapporo with soju slush was refreshing The interior is vibrant giving a fun atmosphere for gatherings. We always dine at the Centreville location, but we noticed that some of our usual orders are not offered on their menu. The service was okay, but their staff were friendly.

Shout to Eric who was a great server. He was funny and very helpful when it came to picking food. The restaurant is very pretty. Low light at night and I saw they had a little karaoke set up. The wings were only okay. We got the galbi and gangjeong flavors. You can tell the wings aren't marinated and it's so much breading. The flavors we got were really light so we just weren't fans. They need to do something to make it less bready and more flavorful. The cheese buldak was so so spicy but it will be good if that is what you like. I was surprised at the large portion size. Wish it came with rice. The cheeseling fries were good. They taste sweet. The corn cheese was okay. It taste like corn with just a whole bunch of cheese melted on top. I wouldn't come back for the wings but I wouldn't come back for another dish or whenever they have karaoke!

So fresh, piping hot, crispy and super saucy. Wait time after ordering was about 15 min but you can tell from the chicken it was MTO. I got the whole chicken that includes wing and leg but they are not full sized pieces of chicken like from a KFC bucket. I wish they were; They are more wing sized. Some pieces were just batter so I don't think the order was fulfilled to its highest potential. But the pieces that did have meat were great. Plenty of seating inside and full bar

We said heck yeahhhh, so the decision was made AMBIANCE: Big space, pretty empty as we were one of the last people to eat before they closed! They were very accommodating-- letting us know their kitchen closed at 10:30 PM and the restaurant closed at 11 PM. When we arrived, it was 945, so we weren't looking to play around. We knew what we were gonna get. Onward we went SERVICE: My girl Arieles (PRETTY sure that's what her name was) was our server! She was so sweet and got us our stuff promptly. We knew we were coming in late so we weren't gonna waste time, but she was joyful to serve us regardless and I appreciate that. So many times people are FED UP, and it shows, to be at the end of their shift (and I get it), so it was nice to have someone of good demeanor to host us! FOOD: We ordered brisket, spicy pork belly, spicy chicken, and spicy bulgogi. First time trying the spicy Bulgogi for fear that it was gonna be TOO spicy and it was not at all! To reference -- I thought the kimchi was a bit spicier than the bulgogi! So try it, flavor is amazing! Can't wait to come again. I hadn't gone to KBBQ in a long while!

The setting is a bit dark with neon lights and table booths with their BBQ grills arranged around the restaurant. It did feel a bit tight for my legs due to the way the BBQ grill was set into the table. Service was great. The person attending to us helped explain the menu, how to order and decide on which proteins to be brought out. He would occasionally pop over and help grill our meats when we became too busy talking instead of cooking our meals. We ordered the All You Can Eat Option A and you are given 1 1/2 hr. to eat, don't know how strict they would be with that. Unless you are truly hungry, I would order an à la carte dinner instead of the all you can eat option. I particularly enjoyed the thick cut pork belly, steamed egg and spicy tofu stew. There were a few small portions of Banchan to go with our meal and you would need to order additional side dishes of noodles or rice dishes separately from the all you can eat menu choices. There were tried and true hearty portions of meats to grill and it was quite filling. Nothing extraordinary but tasty and a nice place to visit on a regular basis if you want a satisfying Korean meal.

I'm thinking that many people who come here know already what they want, because even before we cracked open our menus, the server was immediately at our table expecting us to place our order. When we told her we weren't ready yet, she left, but came back less than a minute later and then stood there waiting for us to place our order. So I ordered the Sullangtang, which is bone broth with brisket and noodles. JP ordered the Yukgaejang, a spicy red broth with veggies and flank steak. We also ordered the fried dumplings. I don't know if the fried dumplings were vegetable or pork, but they were very good, made even better with a delicious dipping sauce. As hoped, banchan was served with our meal, but was just cubes of daikon radish (kkakdugi) and kimchi. The kkakdugi and kimchi were fresh and tasty. Even if the Sullantang recipe is traditional, I was disappointed. The broth was thin and very bland. However, I was able to jazz it up and make it into a pretty good soup by adding spoonfuls of the Yukgaejang broth and the fried dumpling sauce, plus salt and pepper. The Yukgaejang, topped with crispy noodles, was the better of the two soups. It had a lively flavor and as billed on the menu, was indeed spicy. The menu is limited, almost exclusively vegetable and beef dishes, but there is a seafood pancake and whelk (mollusk) dish. No chicken or pork dishes. Overall, our experience was decent and we would certainly consider returning. Shin Chon has plenty of off-street parking.

So was the overhead music. Guess I expected a more authentic Korean experience, but the place was more or less an Americanized Korean bistro. Still, the foods seemed authentic! We ordered a few things to share... Mandu, Dolsot Bibimbap, and this Ssam Board. For drinks, my husband got some beer (?), and I got this fruity cocktail (??). First, the positives! The Mandu was really, really good...and quite meaty! The Dolsot Bibimbap was good in that it came with a generous load of fresh veggies. Now the problems. The Bulgogi in the Dolsot Bibimbap was problematic. It was a bit too fatty...and too chunky...and just hard to eat. It was also a bit bland! They should have cut it up a bit...or provided us with proper cutlery, like a fork and a knife! This is a pet peeve of mine...but nowadays, hardly any restaurant gives you the full set of cutlery. Just fork, or just chopsticks!! Then the Ssam Board. While it looked luscious, I personally had a problem with the meat. While I love Galbi, cuts of Galbi was all-out rare. The waiter didn't even ask for our preference, by the way. If I knew it'd be prepared that red, I would have ordered something else. If it was medium-rare, for instance, I might have liked this dish. My husband prefers a much more rare cut of meat than me, yet even he thought this was too red. Also, I expected something more than raddish for sides. Not sure if this "Board" was worth $42. We also tried this Black Sesame Ice Cream dessert. I loved the flavor...but nothing too special. Service was a bit off as well. While friendly at our table, our waiter wasn't too attentive...especially in the beginning. If he stopped by our table earlier, I might have gotten them to bring back the Ssam Board to cook the meat a bit more. Frankly, I was underwhelmed with the foods, the presentation, even the service. Overall, there were just too many things amiss (or just underwhelming??)...so much so that I doubt I'll pick this place again.

Great service (oddly they're all REALLY attractive Asian guys... save for the front desk girl - and I'm a straight, married, asian male), prices are great for the quality of meat and service you get (they cook for you) They come with the little appetizer plates like most Korean restaurants do, and they all have their own little twist to them, not super vanilla but still keeping to their roots and simple flavors. The green onion one was particularly memorable Our side dishes were excellent. Cheesy corn and seafood pancake. Both come out in cast iron pan, so it's piping hot and super fresh. Corn is hella cheesy and paired great with the appetizers. The seafood pancake was DENSE - really packed with seafood and not so much filler We got their combo so it came with kimchi soup and egg soufflé. The soup was very simple, very spicy. The soufflé was a nice contrast - light, fluffy, honestly almost felt like a desert. We definitely done made a mistake because for two of us, by this time the meats were ready to be cooked, we were about 60% full - and there were 4 meats to cook through We got brisket, pork belly, bulgogi, and another beef I don't remember - ended up taking about 1/3 of it home and half the pancake Our server was attentive and busy managing other tables so it's great to see all these guys staying sharp Considering how much food we took home, the bill was quite reasonable.
