Good food and very respectful to you would rate this 10/10.

She was the highlight of our experience, and my disappointment is solely with the food, not the service. I truly appreciate her kindness and professionalism. (The one star is because of her) I was really looking forward to trying the Dirty Bird, which is advertised as their signature Nashville hot chicken and waffles, but it was a major disappointment. The chicken tender wasn't spicy at all, so it completely missed the mark for Nashville hot chicken. The gravy tasted more like cream of mushroom soup than a flavorful chicken gravy, and it soaked into the waffle almost immediately, leaving it soggy instead of crispy. Overall, the flavors didn't work together, and this dish fell well below my expectations, Unfortunately, this experience was enough that I won't be returning or recommending this restaurant to others.

I had a cheese enchilada & tostada. The enchilada was good & the tostada's base was still very crispy. That's not always the case when you order tostadas. My hubby had the nachos, but they weren't anything special. He wouldn't order them again. The flavor of the beans in his nachos and also in my charro beans was a bit strange-almost sweet & cinnamon-y. We didn't care for that taste at all. Overall, everything was fine, especially the service. The food was standard Tex-Mex & that's not really a negative.

The bar is actually really cool because the countertop is full of coins from one end all the way to the other! Haven't seen anything like it before so that was pretty neat. My husband ordered a breakfast sandwich- as you can see from the picture, he enjoyed every bite! I ordered the chicken and waffles with a side of bacon. The chicken was thick and juicy, just how we like it, and the powdered sugar with strawberries on top really held that nice, sweet and savory fix I needed! Next time we come, I'll have to try the dessert and Bloody Mary!

We then went especially on a Wednesday to have the Chicken Pot Pie special. It was served in a bowl type (very large mug) with a big croissant type bread sitting on top. Have never seen it this way so we were kinda surprised. It was not terrible but won't order it again. It came wth a very large side salad. Also ordered a cup of the potato soup. It was very runny and unfortunately not a potato to be found. Also would not order again. Their daily specials seem to be a good deal. Their menu has quite a selection as well. Definitely want to try their breakfast!

Patty's Bakery and Bistro was my latest find after a short search for a great breakfast. I was…read morepleasantly impressed to find that a bakery had a menu that offered such a selection covering breakfast and lunch items. The location of the restaurant is not immediately visible from the Main Street. It was tucked away on the rear of a building creating a little challenge to find. My visit was during a weekday morning and no other patrons were inside. A completely empty restaurant is usually a cause for concern for me. Patty's is set up for orders at a counter in the back of dining room then take a number to the table for delivery. The dining room is very bright and simply decorated but spacious for a bistro. I ordered the Grandma's Morning Casserole and it was a solid 5/5 with great quality sausage and bacon. Everything about the dish is near perfect, especially the tasty crispy tater tots. My request for a croissant with the breakfast was honored and it was delicious. This gave me idea to check out more baked good from the showcase. I purchased a carrot cake to go and later wished I had bought two. The cake wasn't the traditional style with nuts and shredded carrots. Instead, the cake was the consistency of pound cake that came covered in a rich chocolate drizzled over the top. Perhaps, I got lucky with my first impression but I'm eager to give them another opportunity to repeat the great experience.

The cashier/barista Laura was so friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. You order at the counter, water is self service from a water station and the food is delivered to your table. I was here for Saturday brunch & got the "special omlette" with ham substituted for the prosciutto. The ham is deli-type ham. The omelette was very flavorful & tasty, however, definitely thinner than I am accustomed to eating. It did not come with any bread option or side item so make sure you look at the breakfast side items (only located on the Saturday/Sunday brunch menu, not the main menu) or ask about side items. I don't have a large appetite & I must admit I was still a little hungry. I inquired about bread after I finished & they offered to bring me some toast but I was already done eating. I had a bite of hubby's breakfast sausage & croissant. I'm not a big sausage person but the sausage tasted smoky with a hint of sweetness and it was yummy! The croissant was also buttery & good. I'd add that to my omelette order next time. Of course we had to try some sweets since there were so many options. We got the carrot cake; it's Brazilian style, which differs from the standard American version. The cake had carrots only, no nuts, a little less sweet, pound cake-like consistency and topped with chocolate. I enjoyed it! I also got a chocolate cake slice to-go. It's super rich with chocolate filling layers made with condensed milk. A bit too rich for me but I'm sure others will love it. They also have coffee drinks and they are setup to do the basics drinks (mocha latte, cappuccino, etc) without all the syrup flavors. I ordered a cortado. Although it is not on their menu, the barista gladly said she would try to do her best. I provided directions on the espresso to milk ratio for a cortado & she absolutely nailed it. The coffee was robust & without the traditional vanilla syrup available, a little brown sugar added made the drink great. I will definitely return. I'll try their lunch menu next time.

She took our drink orders, food orders and then everything seemed to fall apart. She returned several times, but mentioned that she was tied up handling several large drink orders and that was the last we saw of her. The food was delivered by other servers. As you can see, the fried catfish fillets were burnt on the outside, but the fish was undercooked inside and had raw (uncooked) portions inside. Not a pleasant surprise. We later learned that Lexus had left for the day and we were left on our own, so to speak. No drink refills for the nearly three hours we were there. Finally, we had to get up and find someone to help us and get our checks. When I was able to pay I requested a receipt, which I never received. Lastly, when we were leaving, someone was mopping the walkway and left puddles of water in the walk, which posed a slip hazard for our group of elderly individuals. When we told a server about the water in the walkway, she told us that she knew it was wet, because she just mopped it. Not an answer you want to hear. All in all, a very unimpressive experience.
