Visited for the first time this evening, we got it to go. Less than 15 minutes to get home. Fries were stone cold. Mac and cheese was soggy. They did not put the 4 biscuits in the box. Not a good first impression. read more

Was told this is like zaxby, I've never eaten there so can't say much. If only people knew there was two lines to order, there wouldn't have been such a long line. with how busy it was, they had only ONE person taking orders. Which didn't help much. No mash potatoes or peach cobbler. Was hoping to try a peach cobbler. I did like the taste of their fries. Receipt. Stated a pack of bbq sauce and ranch to dip your chicken in. I only got packs of bbq sauces. I'll try it out again once it dies down. read more

Pretty good food, and really quick too. Lots of good sauce options for the chicken or the fries.

The food was tasty, nothing that I would just run ‍ out and get but ok. When I went to this location the line was wrapped around the block. Its was about a week after grand opening. It wasn't with hype but again if you just want something to eat‍ also they only have chicken strips. If you are looking for other parts of the chicken it won't be here. read more

Charges for sauce, they don't serve the fried chicken (only the tenders) and get this, STOPS OFFERING WHITE GRAVY FOR IT AT 2 pm I waited in the drive thru for over a half hour wanting some chicken that would rival Popeyes. Super disappointed, more like NO JANGLES read more

Great food. Well seasoned. Was looking forward to them opening and was not disappointed. The service was great too!

I went around 7:30pm Food was good I got tenders and dirty rice, dirty rice could use more flavor. Service was great the young ppl did well. I'll definitely come back read more

I've eaten at Bojangles in NC so I had expectations of a great southern breakfast but they did not deliver. They don't sell grits but they do sell great biscuits & gravy. The gravy need some spice tho. The chicken tenders & sweet tea were delicious!! read more

Not a fan of the new menu for the new locations. I lived most of my life in NC and moved to texas so there's a place in my heart for the original menu. it's not allergen friendly anymore and less chicken options. read more

For being a new it was not clean. The restroom was gross. Food was ok. Fast service. Main issue was the cleanliness.

chicken fingers better than cane's, biscuit better than popeye's, white gravy better than whataburger, staff as firendly as chik fil a. what's not to like? read more

From the second you walk in the door you're greeted by friendly staff. Kaia at the register and the manger Haley went above and beyond. The food is amazing and well seasoned. Better than canes no doubt! My family and I will definitely be back read more

Country style chicken I went for the breakfast love their biscuits with sausage or bacon they are the absolute best

I feel like this was the last place I needed to finish my Fried Chicken Infinity Gauntlet so when they opened a location in San Antonio I was def interested in trying it out. I came by early afternoon and there was no line so service in the drive thru was fairly quick. I ordered a 5 piece tender meal with Mac and cheese. I asked for a BBQ sauce, honey mustard and their peach pepper sauce (paid extra for the two extra sauces), 2 Bo-Berry biscuits, sweet tea and a lemonade. The chicken was okay but it wasn't anything special. It had a nice crisp to it but flavor wise it def needed the sauces to take it up a notch. The biscuit that came with my meal was slightly burned and disappointing. The mac and cheese was bland as bland can be. The drinks were good however. The Bo Berry biscuits were surprisingly good as well. I wasn't sure what to expect from them but they ended up surprising me. Overall it's average and I'll prolly have it again but it won't be my go to place anytime soon. read more

I have heard for many years that Bojangles is better than Popeye's. I was glad when one opened here and I looked forward to trying it. Unfortunately they only have tenders and sandwiches. You can't really compare that to Popeye's or any other fried chicken restaurant. I was disappointed after going out of my way to eat there. The tenders were very good, I liked the biscuit and the Mac and cheese. It just wasn't what I was looking for. I was also surprised they don't have hot sauce. They have several dipping sauces none of which interest me. They were well staffed. The restaurant was busy and clean. The girl who took my order was a bit unpleasant but I wouldn't complain. Bottom line, they had good food that I don't want. I won't be back. read more

Worst chicken tenders I've ever had. Would never come back because there are so many better options for chicken tenders. I see people saying they are spicy but mine had no spice at all. Macaroni was so dry and gross. I enjoyed my lemonade the most. read more

***BIG PROBLEM*** They DO NOT SALE FRIED CHICKEN. They only Sale Chicken Tenders.....Really would like to have know this prior to driving out to the location only to find out in the DRIVE THRU location on Sales Chicken Tenders.....& Thier online website shows Bone In Chicken for Sale. Not a very Good Business Practice for Opening in a New Market. Was not impressed at all. read more

Very unique and very tasteful take on on chicken tenders! Bo Berry biscuits are also absolute fire. BBQ Sauce there is the perfect complementary sauce! read more

What a HUGE disappointment!!! This is not Bojangles! #1, they don't sell any bone-In chicken, only strips and chicken sandwiches. #2 The straps are hard and dry, nothing like Bojangles back east. #3 This place is so small an uncomfortable, its completely ridiculous. This was a complete waste of my lunchtime. They shouldn't be allowed to call this Bojangles. So tired of these franchises coming to San Antonio thinking they can just serve us anything. I do not recommend this place. You can find good chicken strips anywhere. read more

I am not even sure what to say.... They lady with the Pink Locs... (Shani.. missed spelled) is toooooo much! I would quit if I was talked to the way she is talking at these people and it is in front of customers! Horrible she made me uncomfortable Now the chicken is not my jus but the blueberry biscuits were delicious!!!! The biscuits and gravy need a little help... the sweet tea is too sweet that it push pass that southern sip of joy!!! Now those tart rounds are a blessing...would I drive 30 mins again ... hmmm probably not and they don't offer military discount!! Food was decent but that belittling by the manager is off putting... read more

Waited so long in line. The food was not good. Tenders were burnt and at the same time raw inside. Spoke with the manager and he was rude. Wish I could give it a zero. read more

When I lived in South Carolina I remember the biscuits being a little bit bigger. They were also more options for the biscuits. But all in all it was good. Would do a once a month trip for this. read more

Chicken tenders were okay. The fries were not good. Cole slaw was okay. Biscuits were good though. Service was bad. Witnessed the assistant manager yelling and belittling the employee at the register right in front of me then when she noticed I was looking slammed the window shut. I wouldn't go back because the food isn't anything special I'd rather have Popeyes any day. read more

This isn't a North Carolina BoJangles. There's only chicken tenders. The tenders taste good. But bone in fried chicken is just better. The dining area is tiny compared to typical BoJangles in NC so don't expect to find seating reliably. Unlike in NC, they aren't making your order as you walk down the aisle. This means they can accidentally clear your order without giving it to you. Turns a 12 min wait into a 30 min wait. No apologies or coupons. They've been open for weeks now. The kinks should already be worked out. Not worth going back until they have real fried chicken. read more

I grew up on the east coast. How in the hell are you trying to sell tenders. You're know for fried chicken. I hope you change this theory because your going to be out of business very soon. Glad I haven't tried them tenders. If I wanted tenders I'd go down the street to get them. This is a very terrible idea for a business of your stature. read more

Good flavor . The tenders were crispy a little spicy but good flavor reminds me of the hot tenders from Popeyes but better. Biscuit taste the same as Popeyes and I wish the fries did taste like Popeyes. Small dining area though. Overall , I would come back . read more

I have been to several Bojangles before but this one in SA doesn't sell any bone in chicken... wtf might as well be golden chick.

The drive thru line was super long and we found it much faster to go inside. We had the tenders, fries and biscuit meal which was really good. I tried the peach honey pepper sauce and gawd that sauce goes on everything. I would definitely be back. read more

I got a chicken sandwich and it was good, i would go there again. Sweet tea is also good

Awesome food and service. The environment was very complimentary. Fresh hot chicken every time I come

-999 if I could! HELLO!!! Is anyone gonna talk about the elephant in the room??? They DON'T SELL BONE IN FRIED CHICKEN!!! Which is what they are know for! Bojangles - it's Bo Time - Chicken Wings Near Me - Richmond, Texas

Went out to the new Bojangles with high hopes even after reading the reviews. The wait was well over an hour in line, and we expected that. We used the drive thru. The person taking our order was friendly as well the person who served us. They only serve chicken tenders at this location, which we didn't know. Gravy isn't an option as a dipping sauce. Please believe the comments on the saltiness of the food. The fries are 3x salty. I wiped each fry with a napkin. If you sub the fry, you are charged the full price of that side item, not an upcharge. If you don't want tea and want lemonade, you're charged extra for that beverage. It would be nice if they told you that when you ordered. I'll admit your receipt might give you sticker shock. The biscuits are delicious. They aren't dry like a puck. There is no need to heat it to make it edible. I wish they offered butter and honey. The blue berry biscuits are scrumptious. If you want the Bojangles San Antonio experience, give it a try. I went, I saw, I ate and I'm done. read more

So this was my first experience at Bojangles. I waited in line for approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, which is understandable, It's a new establishment. Also, the staff is still learning as well, however I found the food to be underwhelming. For starters, no bone-in chicken. I had previewed the menu online, which is definitely not the menu at the location on Potranco. So it's just chicken strips. So the first thing I ate was the French fries. They were fresh and hot, but extremely salty. So me and my mother had to dust off the seasoning. Next I tried the dirty rice, which was very bland and had just two pieces of breakfast sausage crumbles in it. I was expecting the holy trinity in it, some bell peppers, onions, and celery with some sausage. All I received was undirty rice and two breakfast sausage crumbles. Very unseasoned. The Mac n cheese was delicious and the biscuits were soft. Now to the chicken tenders. I found mine to be salty. You can have flavor and spice without so much salt, especially when dipping the chicken into other items such as the jalapeño ranch. I also ordered a salad, which was full of brown leafs of lettuce. However, the house salad with the chicken tenders tasted better with the mix of salty chicken. So the best thing in my opinion was the Boberry biscuits, the regular biscuit and the Mac n cheese. I say, maybe stick to breakfast, and get your chicken tenders from Canes, Popeyes or Chick-Fil-A, but not here unless you love salty tenders. read more

I see the 2.7 rating. Problems starting up? Bo Berry biscuits were fresh and awesome. Regular biscuits were awesome. Got the 12 pieces family meal. Chicken was very good and get choices for the sauces (listening Raisin' Canes?). The sides were good. We selected dirty rice and cole slaw (similar to KFC and delicious). Added the very good Mac and cheese. Loved the food. Happy to see them using cardboard boxes for most of the food. Can the fixins go that way instead of plastic? The roaming employee in the seating area was awesome! Saw him interact favorably with multiple customers. Wish I had caught his name! Visiting from Austin and can't wait for a location to open in Austin! Keep it up! read more

Was waiting in like for my food & the owner (Mr. Bo) came over & took my card. Started a little small talk with him & asked him how long the place been open & he said two Monday's ago. I had asked him how old he was & he said 50 & lemme tell you he does not look like that lol. BUT he said I got two free bo berry biscuits on him . Thank you Mr. Bo for being so nice & bringing this amazing establishment to Texas. Only thing I'd ask/like to change is the cups because the lid comes off real easy read more
