Been coming to this Arby's location for the better part of 20 years if I remember correctly. I remember being so excited for its return to Houston after they closed most if not all for probably a decade. Having lived across the street from this one for my late adolescence and young adulthood, this place has definitely been more hit than miss. My orders are typically correct, the food is consistent, and Arby's has been doing new promotions every now and then to keep things interesting. One downside is when the little center where it's located gets crowded and everyone is funneling out to leave. Traffic congestion does occur, which can be frustrating at times. Although I'm over in Missouri City and they closed the Sienna location, I still find myself coming here for that classic roast beef option to every other burger joint that's around. read more

Forgot our drinks, forgot sauces, and sandwiches were wrong. I've worked fast food. I get it. But we were the only ones there and we ordered through the app. We waited a while and they still got it wrong. And some of the items, you could just tell they were old. I only come here to redeem the free kids meal 4 piece, as my little ones gets one every couple months for good grades, and begs to come. The loud Hispanic lady is not only rude, but yells at her employees. Even the young lady that works there look miserable!!! Oh!! Don't know why the 3 Stars. We love coming to Arby's after rediscovering it with coupons. Even without the coupons the website awesome to order from and they have great deals. Friendly staff, great service and great food. The place is always very clean. We noticed the manager would be always making sure her staff is trained up. I dare say they look like the model store. We love this place and then menu is always full of different options. Mozzerella sticks are always fresh and hot. Portions and the pricing is very reasonable. After a quick call to Sugar Land health department to make them aware of the health code violation involving their table lights and various dead bugs/insects a few months later one can finally eat in this place without getting sick at just looking around. As far as Arby's goes, this is one of the best in Houston depending on what and when you order. If you order late before they close you'll get some of the freshest food you can get from a fast food place. During lunch time when they're really busy might be spotty. The two swiss and roast beef sandwiches for $7 is the best deal you can find and lots of meat and no smashed buns like the other locations. The employees are super friendly if you are, but you have to start the conversation. Some of the sandwiches are blah, but they'd be that way no matter which Arby's you ate at. Like the chicken sandwiches in the two for seven dollars deal. That one needs to go. Blech! The reuben sandwich is good, (not great because it needs more meat), but as with all of their sandwiches make sure you ask for plenty of horse radish sauce because it just makes everything better. Thats it. Just thought it was only fair to acknowledge the way they turned it around after the health code report. Great job guys. read more

Sugar Land needs more restaurants. On a Friday night when the freeways were clogged like crazy (see gas tanker spill on March 12) I didn't get home to Sugar Land until 8pm. We tried a bunch of places and they were all too busy. We decided to try Arby's, since we're driven by it hundreds of times and never stopped in. This Arby's has been open about a year and is in a very attractive stone building. It's in the same building as Minuti coffee, so you can get a quick bite to eat and then stop next door for dessert or coffee. The two are really in different leagues and it's strange to have them next to each other and be the only two businesses in that building. I don't typically see one business attracting the other's customers. This Arby's is very clean. We walked in and the tables are clean, the counters are clean and while we were there, a young employee was cleaning absolutely every surface. The kitchen is huge and open. Overall, if I liked the food here, I'd come here often. Unfortunately, I don't. The food is well prepared for what it is still fast food. The curly fries were fine. They fried chicken sandwich with honey mustard was fine for my husband. There are several sauces to choose from (see photo). I tried the bbq sauce and the honey mustard and both were not for me, but my husband liked them. Overall, if you like roast beef and you like fast food, then this Arby's really can't be beat. Otherwise, it's just a place I would stop if I truly didn't have anywhere else I could go. I realized once I was there that I should have stopped at one of the other many sandwich shops in the area like Potbelly or Mission burrito... next time I'll remember. read more

As a kid I used to love getting curly fries and jamocha shake from Arby's. Today I decided I needed lunch and thought i would relive some old memories. I saw a picture of the new Smokehouse short rib sandwich and was excited to give it a try. You can see from my picture that it doesn't live up to the look and but the taste was equally disappointing. At $7 for just the sandwich I expected better. I also tried the loaded curly fries, which were not even as good as regular curly fries. Cheese sauce just doesn't work for me. On the upside, the place is really clean. I was going to go to get shake after my meal, but it seems like I'm getting a stomach ache instead. read more

Good food, the kids menu has a cheese burger no matter what. The meat was great! I am suspicious of the "meat mountain"??? I like the fries a lot, I was snacking on them for a while :D! Every once in a while we stop in and they always seem to be consistent with everything. Food I'd always hot, the details are never missed. While it is fast food and the company has tried hard to expand the menu, I still stick to the basics. I have a tough time giving 5 stars because I reserve that for the best of the best. 4 stars is a place that I consider a staple that I would choose any given day. The review is more for the restaurant than the food. The food was mediocre but least of my concerns. The place was so dirty and gross that I wanted to leave. I had already ordered before I really got to noticing everything so unfortunately I stayed. The floors were sticky everywhere, tables littered with food and trash on them and under them and flys all around us...barf. I found one table that was decent and there was a live spider and some dead bugs under it. It's an Arby's-- your sliced meat sandwich chain that's not sure if it wants to be a deli or fast food locale. I kept swinging by here over several weeks when I was temporarily stationed to work in the area. As a result, I had the chance to order quite a few of their sandwiches and sides, including the Angus Three Cheese Bacon, the Beef & Cheddar, the Jalapeno Ham & Swiss, and the Chicken Cordon Bleu. All of the sandwiches are a serious upgrade from what you'd find at a McDonald's or Burger King, but you'll be paying a premium on price too. Service at this location can be inattentive, but once you've gotten their attention they are very helpful. The place is kept very clean, except occasionally around the condiment dispensers, and the food comes out hot and fresh. read more

Love their traditional gyros. Great value. Great taste. Had a combo Gyro and 3 pce chicken tender the other day and nearly chipped a tooth on the batter of the tenders. This product should not be available. Someone will chip or lose a tooth or choke on the hard bits. Terrible. Wrote corporate but no one interested of course. I always liked the roast beef sandwiches and curly fries that Arby's serve. This is one of the closest Arby's to me. I prefer this one because of location. Parking lot is kinda small but I never had issues finding parking. The small combo meal is Classic roast beef burger with curly fries cost about $5.89. With tax $6.38. The tables need to be cleaned more often but I think of the shortage of employees. They are hiring. They keep the place pretty cool. This Arby's is clean and fast. The decor is fairly new. The parking is a bit of a hassle and the tables need to be cleaned off a bit more often. But the noise level is not that loud and you can enjoy a decent meal with friends. The drive through is also fast. FYI for the drive through, you have to drive around the Minuti Coffee side of the building. Definitely one of my favorite fast food joints around. They have a great selection of fountain drinks and sauces. read more

Ordinarily, this Arby's is fine - not spectacular, but good. Today, however, not so much. I ordered the new Bourbon BBQ Brisket and was interested in it because of the sauce. The sandwich meats were good, but nothing special. Even the bacon was not as good as in the past. But there was almost no sauce on the sandwich. It was basically a dry sandwich. Went there today May 1, 2020 around 1pm for lunch. Parking lot was clean and the drive thru was easy to access. I pulled around and the menu was glorious. They had quiet a big selection so I ended up trying Gyro. I ordered the large combo Gyro spicy sandwich. The employees were nice and friendly. The gyro sandwich was awesome especially on the pita bread makes it a genuine Mediterranean atmosphere, it makes you feel like home. I have eaten at this restaurant many times. I usually have the Angus Three Cheese Bacon Sandwich and it very tasty. I order the curly fries or potato cakes with my meal. I have ordered the Roast Beef Classic or the Beef 'N Cheddar Sandwich a few times so that I will not get tired of having my favorite sandwich. The employees are very friendly. We decided to try out the new gyros that are being offered. We stopped in on a Sunday evening. It took quite a while for us to even get a cashier at the register. Once we ordered our gyros, we set at a booth and waited, and waited, and waited. I had no idea that it could take so long to put together two gyros. After we had been sitting there about 10 minutes, my husband went to the counter to find out what was taking so long. Apparently they had given our gyros to someone else and had forgotten us completely because they made him show them the receipt for the gyros that we never received. They finally got them made and threw in a free order of fries. They weren't too bad, but the gyro meat didn't taste authentic and neither did the sauce...but not too bad for the price. read more

The first time I had Arby's (though my siblings will argue) was actually when I was still living in Taiwan in Elementary School, when one day, just for one school semester, perhaps through some marketing plans, decided to sell their equivalent of a "happy meal" as an alternative to traditional lunches to the students. Students essentially bring money to pay for the type of sandwich they want (Roast Beef, Chicken, Fish) during the morning when 1st Period starts in their homeroom, then lunch time, come pick up your order. I remembered at the time, the amount of money paid was approximately $2USD in today's money. You get a boxed sandwich, fries, and a small coke. For kids growing up dreaming of McDonald's and happy meals, this was a fresh change. I always end up envious my class mates who got the triangle shaped hash browns because I've never had them and the day I brought home lunch almost always end up being the days my friends got hash browns. Finally, they might have had some working partnership with Looney Tunes, because I remember getting stickers of Bugs Bunny, Roadrunner, Wile E Coyote, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, etc. Yes, again some might argue, that was the first time I had an Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich. Arby's closed their doors in Taiwan in the late 1980s (Wikipedia). So after moving to the States in the early 90's, we surprisingly didn't think much of Arby's during the years when I was finishing up grade school. It wasn't until my college years that driving past the locations in the college towns reminded me that wow, Arby's do exist! Biting into a roast beef sandwich brought me back memories of yesteryears past to that one elementary school semester and guess what, I finally had that triangle shaped hash brown that have eluded me all these years. I know what you guys are thinking, this guy is ranting about roast beef sandwich and hash browns. Hey, every one have their Aha moments, ok? So, this is obviously before inflation hits the economy. We were seeing those 5 small roast beef sandwiches for $1, no you didn't hear wrong, 5 small roast beef (they call them classic roast beef now) for $1 (no coupons required, heck they even advertise that on the bill boards). They had a Super Roast Beef, which is like a Medium with Red Sauce and Lettuce and Tomatoes (and for the longest time, this was the only item on the sandwich menu that had veggies), and finally, the Big Montana that could bring a grown man teary eyed to his knees because of how much it was (I think it was like $2 or $3 for just the sandwich). Those were the years that I could count on Arby's to cure my hunger when I was trying to study for exams or when I was trying to sit down and enjoy a movie. But prices changed, so now I see there is a 2 for $6 (with a coupon) on the sandwiches now. This location of Arby's opened a few years back, and like others have said, parking lot is a bit small and the drive through is a bit quirky because you have to go around the back of the Minuti Coffee shop next door, swing back out and watch out for in coming parking lot traffic to find parking spaces that also happens to be short distances to the traffic lights. The restaurant is often "not that busy" whenever I go, and is still in a relatively convenient location to my house. Over the years, I've grown to like the Beef n' Cheddar more and the Turkey Ranch and Bacon Market Fresh Sandwich (I think they changed a bit of the contents of this now). But one thing I do like about Arby's is that you can order things that are no shown on the menu (most people don't know you can still ask for a Chicken Cordon Bleu or a Super Roast Beef). Not our favorite fast food place any longer, but will still occasionally pay a visit if we ever get the craving again. read more
