Not so good, price too high as well. Food tastes basic like a burger I could whip up at home.

Took my mom here for dinner tonight. Never disappointed with this location at five guys. My mom actually ate her entire burger. We love this place. So delicious. They make the best burgers ever. Highly recommend this place especially this location.

I don't eat red meat, but I've heard about the 5 guys fries for a while now. So, I went for a light lunch of a grilled cheese and fries. The cashier was super nice and suggested I add some things into my grilled cheese. I was happy to see a whole list of items you can add to your burger or grilled cheese. So, I ended up with a grilled cheese with grilled onions. It was very good. My husband got a bacon cheese hot dog. He enjoyed it. The french fries were just thrown in the bag. I actually watched the guy behind the counter shovel a bunch of fries directly into the bag, ugh. The fries were pretty good but nothing special. I guess compared to burger king, they are great, but really they aren't so special. They are hand cut, which means you have a variety of sizes, shapes, and some burned ones as well. The music was dreadful. The speakers were tinny, and who wants to listen to Alice cooper and Jethro Tull while eating lunch? So strange. The grilled cheese was decent, but all the signs inside the restaurant that extol the virtues of the fries are just hype. So, keep your expectations low and you'll be fine with this place.

Paid my first ever visit to a Five Guys Burgers and Fries and I must say it was pretty good and a great option for lunch. This particular location is the first in Sugar Land, and from the looks of it, the beginning of a new influx of out-of-town burger chains like Smashburger into the greater Houston area. There are locations also in Rosenberg, Montgomery, and a few around Houston proper. The burgers were pretty tasty. I had a "Little Bacon Cheeseburger" with BBQ sauce, grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions. It was pretty awesome and it hit the spot. They have an assortment of other toppings that you can choose from (like jalapenos, green peppers, A-1 sauce, hot sauce, relish, etc etc) and they re all FREEEEEEEEEEEE which is good - except for the cheese and meat of course. I asked what was the difference between the regular and the little burgers... the regular has two patties of about 1/2 a pound... that was too much for me so I opted to go with the little and I was more than satisfied. We also got the cajun fries... they gave us a LOT of fries - so much that I took it back with me to the office and I still couldn't finish them. They also have Mello Yello and Cherry Coke on the fountain machine... I haven't seen Mello Yello since I was at the Coke museum in Atlanta. Oh and also while you wait you can have free peanuts in a shell... quirky but cool. Overall, a great place to eat and I wouldn't mind eating here or at any other location again in the future!

This is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat. I ordered the grilled cheese and the Cajun fries. I spent $8 and some change and thought to myself that it was a little pricey. After I ate the sandwich and fries, it was totally worth it! The food was delicious! I will be back! Great fast and friendly service too!

Didn't care for the smash burger at all. The fries were limp and greasy. That will be the last time we ever try Five Guys!

Five Guys has become way too expensive. $35 for two burgers, drinks and fries is ridiculous.

The food quality has gone down hill. The beef patty was flavorless and the buns didn't taste fresh. Lost a customer for life.

The interior felt sticky and unkept, which is a shame because this is not an old spot by any means and Telfair is a pretty nice community. The legs of the tables were rusted over and the plastic of the chairs were chipped. There were cobwebs on the walls. It just felt like the place has not been well maintained. When we ordered, the cashier never showed or told me my order back and just gave me the total price, expecting me to tap my card. Hearing that our order for 4 people was over $60, the price sounded high to me for the prices listed on the overhead TV menus. Come to find out there was a markup on the loaded fries I ordered that was not reflected on the display. When I asked her about it, she nonchalantly said "Oh yeah the price is higher". My first thought was, hey it's a digital menu, how hard is that to change? Secondly, the attitude in response to how my order broke down was definitely not one of good customer service. I also asked how spicy the chili ranch sauce was that came with the avocado burger since my 6 year-old was ordering it and she assured me it was not spicy. We ended up having to wait over half an hour for our food. Turned out the avocado burger had some sort of chopped peppers throughout the spread and my son couldn't even eat a bite. The biryani was also extremely spicy. I like spicy food as much as the next, but the biryani was hot fire coming out the chute, and there was a lot "chuting" from the family after this meal. Needless to say, we won't be returning anytime soon. Which is too bad, because I want to support local, ethnic foods and honestly, I like the taste of the food.

Sad to give this place two stars because the fusion concept sound promising. Burgers and biriyani…read moreare two things I enjoy, so I figured it was going to be hard to dislike. We ordered the tikka chicken masala paratha and chicken biriyani with a side of fries. The paratha was packed with protein, but unfortunately was hard and dry. The sauce/gravy within the wrap was decent, but just couldn't save the chicken. The biriyani was ok. Chicken was decent but the rice lacked something that made it taste like restaurants quality. The fries were the most disappointing - they were stale and tasted overcooked, sort of like when you reheat day old fries. There's an indicator when your child doesn't care for any fries. Overall meal was about $30. We tipped and cleaned up after ourselves. Not the best counter service, but not bad. The interior was ok. They had Mr. Bean playing on TV, so that brought back some old childhood nostalgia feels. Unlikely that we will be back, but if so, I'll try the burger next time.
