Vanilla Swirl Coke Zero -- Holiday Drink!

Not so good, price too high as well. Food tastes basic like a burger I could whip up at home.

Took my mom here for dinner tonight. Never disappointed with this location at five guys. My mom actually ate her entire burger. We love this place. So delicious. They make the best burgers ever. Highly recommend this place especially this location.

Grilled cheese with onions

I don't eat red meat, but I've heard about the 5 guys fries for a while now. So, I went for a light lunch of a grilled cheese and fries. The cashier was super nice and suggested I add some things into my grilled cheese. I was happy to see a whole list of items you can add to your burger or grilled cheese. So, I ended up with a grilled cheese with grilled onions. It was very good. My husband got a bacon cheese hot dog. He enjoyed it. The french fries were just thrown in the bag. I actually watched the guy behind the counter shovel a bunch of fries directly into the bag, ugh. The fries were pretty good but nothing special. I guess compared to burger king, they are great, but really they aren't so special. They are hand cut, which means you have a variety of sizes, shapes, and some burned ones as well. The music was dreadful. The speakers were tinny, and who wants to listen to Alice cooper and Jethro Tull while eating lunch? So strange. The grilled cheese was decent, but all the signs inside the restaurant that extol the virtues of the fries are just hype. So, keep your expectations low and you'll be fine with this place.

Paid my first ever visit to a Five Guys Burgers and Fries and I must say it was pretty good and a great option for lunch. This particular location is the first in Sugar Land, and from the looks of it, the beginning of a new influx of out-of-town burger chains like Smashburger into the greater Houston area. There are locations also in Rosenberg, Montgomery, and a few around Houston proper. The burgers were pretty tasty. I had a "Little Bacon Cheeseburger" with BBQ sauce, grilled mushrooms, and grilled onions. It was pretty awesome and it hit the spot. They have an assortment of other toppings that you can choose from (like jalapenos, green peppers, A-1 sauce, hot sauce, relish, etc etc) and they re all FREEEEEEEEEEEE which is good - except for the cheese and meat of course. I asked what was the difference between the regular and the little burgers... the regular has two patties of about 1/2 a pound... that was too much for me so I opted to go with the little and I was more than satisfied. We also got the cajun fries... they gave us a LOT of fries - so much that I took it back with me to the office and I still couldn't finish them. They also have Mello Yello and Cherry Coke on the fountain machine... I haven't seen Mello Yello since I was at the Coke museum in Atlanta. Oh and also while you wait you can have free peanuts in a shell... quirky but cool. Overall, a great place to eat and I wouldn't mind eating here or at any other location again in the future!

Burgers are delicious but I don't care for the fries. Next time I will get a burger to go and stop by McDonald's for fries.

It was hopping on a Saturday night, as they have a few other businesses in the same parking lot. Finding a spot was easy for me, but that's because I was lucky. The lot was packed and I just happened to be in the right spot at the right time. I'll take the win. Walking in the restaurant has outdoor seating, and indoor. A pretty good line when we walked in leading up to the door, but it went quickly. About half of the tables on the interior in use, but it was very easy to find a place to sit. Outdoor was about maybe 1/4 capacity. They have a pretty interesting menu, it definitely fits along the gastropub line. I was very tempted to do tacos and burgers but our goal was burgers and I stuck to it. I had the Brie and candied bacon burger. Was it messy? Yes, yes it was. Was it phenomenal? Yes, yes it was. With candied jalapeno, candied bacon, arugula and a fire vinaigrette, this was my favorite burger. The jalapeno was flavored but not spicy. For those who are adverse to heat. The vinaigrette really sets off this burger, on top of the medly of flavors. Cooked to juicy perfection, would 100% get this again. The gal went with the California Burger. Also an excellent choice, but I liked mine more. This one serves up sliced avocado, bacon, tomato, arugula, Swiss, and again, a house vinaigrette. Whoever thought let's make a burger more wet, you were right. That's why we have napkins. Both the truffle fries, and the onion rings sounded good. So we ended up just getting both. The truffle fries had fantastic flavor but it felt like we had the bottom of the bag. All of the fries were very tiny. It's like when you go out for fast food, and it's all the tiny broken pieces at the bottom of your fries. They also come with a nice dipping sauce. Highly recommend. The onion rings were fantastic, I really enjoy how they are battered. I served by themselves, they are delightful. The staff were excellent! They continued to check on everybody and make sure that they had everything they needed, they were busing tables left and right. Very proactive in keeping the place clean and getting seating turned around for the next customer pretty quick. We will definitely be coming back to try more items on their menu. They also have what appears to be an upscale joint next door of the same name with wine. That will also be a place that we'd like to check out in the future. Is it a drive, yes. Is good food and good experience worth the time and effort to get there, it absolutely is. Check them out. See what you think!

This time I tried the grilled fish tacos and they were phenomenal...so flavorful and the mango salsa was so refreshing and tasty. Def recommend if you aren't in the mood for their delicious burgers!

Unfortunately there was only one person working the front and there were quite a few tables in addition to several to-go orders. Our food ultimately took a long time to come out. However, per usual, the burgers and the fries were really bold and tasty. I tried their biryani for the first time which was also very flavorful and fragrant. Aside from the long wait, it was a good visit.

We ordered the tikka chicken masala paratha and chicken biriyani with a side of fries. The paratha was packed with protein, but unfortunately was hard and dry. The sauce/gravy within the wrap was decent, but just couldn't save the chicken. The biriyani was ok. Chicken was decent but the rice lacked something that made it taste like restaurants quality. The fries were the most disappointing - they were stale and tasted overcooked, sort of like when you reheat day old fries. There's an indicator when your child doesn't care for any fries. Overall meal was about $30. We tipped and cleaned up after ourselves. Not the best counter service, but not bad. The interior was ok. They had Mr. Bean playing on TV, so that brought back some old childhood nostalgia feels. Unlikely that we will be back, but if so, I'll try the burger next time.
