First time here. Was excited to try a new chicken place for the first time. The staff was very friendly. The drive-through was very efficient and the pricing seem to be very fair. I ordered their basic chicken sandwich and asked for it to be a BLT. My meal came out very quickly. The sandwich was very hot very thick, very juicy and had a good flavor to it. However, they forgot my bacon. I was already down the road so I was not able to go back in as the traffic on the street they are on is not always favorable. Their fries are very good steak fries lots of seasoning, very crispy, and a good portion. I also got the peach cobbler, which unfortunately does not match the size or the look of what is advertised on the drive-through menu. It was, however, very delicious, flaky and packed full of flavor while the size was very disappointing. I would recommend eating it quickly as I do not believe it would be very good reheated. Overall good atmosphere good customer service good flavoring on their food however, I don't know if it matches up to other chicken sandwiches offered by other fast food establishments not sure that this would be a go to place for chicken. This is a new location in San Antonio and the chicken biscuits were amazing. The atmosphere was bright and had a lot of natural light. The line was very long since it's only been open a week. It's obviously a beloved chain. Despite the line being long, the staff was very quick. I will say seating is very space. It only have 1 table that seated more than 2. I'm sad to see this place has such low ratings. I stopped in after work and it was busy, but the employees kept the line moving. We received our food quickly and it was nice and hot. I had the Chicken sandwich and I really liked how flavorful the chicken was. The Mac and cheese was delicious and apparently made in house. The biscuit was also not too sweet and had just the right amount of tartness. We spoke to one of the owners and he explained how they make their sauces in house as well as most of their food. Delicious food! Super nice workers and maintained their good attitudes even with how extremely busy they were. Inside was nice but not much seating. More seating outside. I do recommend ordering inside due to long lines that come out onto Potranco Rd. There was barely any line and the wait was super short! We are coma full!! We had to try their chicken strips, Mac n cheese, fries, dirty rice, regular biscuits and the blueberry biscuits! Washed it all down with perfectly sweetened tea! Yoooooooooo! I was so excited to have Bojangles come to San Antonio. I tried it before when I was in North Carolina. At that time they were offering a pork chop biscuit which was so good I not only had it every morning of the three days I was there, I ordered two on my way to the airport, ate them before going through security, saw a Bojangles once I got through security and ordered two more to take back with me. Much to my sadness they only offer there at limited times. Still I was down to try it. I went on July 31 when they opened, but the drive thru line was all the way down Potranco. As I was on my lunch, I planned to go back later in the evening after work. I went back close to 8pm and they literally had shut down for the day. The drive thru was still packed but they were taking no more people. So wild. Fast forward to today and I got in there ready to give it a go. Again, drive thru packed so the guy that greeted you outside suggested I go inside. So that's what I did and was second in line. Customer service was fantastic and they answered any questions. So I ordered a 4 piece chicken tender meal, and also a grilled chicken sandwich just to try it. The grilled chicken sandwich comes with lettuce, tomato and mayo. I ordered it no mayo but added bacon and cheese. And pickles. You have to ask for pickles. This sandwich was delicious. They forgot my lettuce and tomato, but it was juicy and well seasoned. The bun was nice and buttery. I would order this thing 20x. The chicken tenders come with a side, a biscuit and a drink. The tenders were meaty and crispy with a thick crust. Nice sized. They are a little spicy. And before I get the I eat ghost peppers like popcorn person telling me they aren't spicy, I'm thinking of it from the perspective of my 8 year old who treats chicken tenders as a religion lol little bit spicy. I think he'd power through though because they are good. My fries were hit or miss. They are skinny steak fries. Well seasoned. But some were too crispy to bite, some seemed undercooked, and most were just right. The biscuit is heaven. Goodness so good. I'm already dreaming of a breakfast sandwich and remembering that pork chop biscuit. Sweet tea is pretty good as well. As far as the restaurant, the inside is tiny. Maybe 4-6 2 person tables. Most of the seating is outside. Good before the sun gets going. But if the drive thru stays hopping you're gonna be sitting right next to non-stop cars. But overall, I am so happy Bojangles is here. And I hope they open several more. I don't think they will have a problem becoming a local favorite. I'll definitely return many times. And if they bring that pork chop biscuit, just stay out of my way! Haha Lastly, I do have to say I am disappointed they don't have the bone in chicken. I came back and dropped a star for that. Came to this new restaurant in San Antonio, I always go to the one in North Carolina and they have everything on there menu, I go to the one in Cari. I walked in and was excited to to get my favorite meal which is the chicken egg and cheese biscuit, to my disappointment they did not service it here at the time, only for breakfast. I took photos and ordered the fries only and they were good and hot. Since I can not go during their breakfast time I will not be eating there unless for some reason I can go in the morning. I hope they go back to their normal routine of serving everything. I am looking forward when I get back to NC to get my favorite breakfast sandwich. I watched a YouTube video early this morning showing best chicken strips and bojangles was ranked number 2 out of every fast food place. I have driven past this place at least 100 times daily and it is ALWAYS empty so today I decided to give this a try. I ordered a. 4 piece chicken tender and of course had my food within minutes of ordering, my girlfriend wanted chicken fil a so got her some and came home and ate meaning I waited 10 minutes before trying. Me and my girlfriend will definitely be back so the chicken had a lot more flavor than Popeyes better crunch than KFC and seasoned unlike canes. They let me get gravy and honey mustard I'm honestly considering getting again for dinner it's so good. Cannot believe this place isn't busier and would regret if they closed especially since the next nearest location is 45 minutes away!!! read more

I'd like to start by saying the service sucks. The girl at the counter who appeared to be training a guy would just turn around and IGNORE YOU when you went to the counter to ask for something. What a joke. They were out of ice in the dining room, ( I get it it was busy) so you have to ask the cashier for ice, she made eye contact with me and TURNED AROUND and just stood there. I would understand if she was busy... but anyways. Food was mid. Fries needed more season, the biscuits were dry, the sweet tea wasn't sweet. I'm from NC, like many others, and I was really looking forward to this Bojangles opening, but I don't see myself going out of my way to come here. No mashed potatoes? No fried chicken, no supremes ... really the only good thing about this place is the fries in my opinion. I'd rather order the season online and make my own at home at this point. I know the lines have been long here since it opened, but I swung by at 7 AM before work on a Wednesday and there was only one car in front of me. Yay! I got lucky or maybe it was just too early. I decided to try a breakfast sandwich and a blueberry biscuit. I was told that there is a limit on how many blueberry biscuits you can order. I didn't really understand her, so I don't know how many you can order. I ordered two orders. Each order comes with two biscuits. The blueberry biscuits are drizzled with powdered sugar icing. Everyone love them at work. Their little hash brown rounds are perfect. They are a great size to snack on while driving. The sandwich was good too. The price was excellent. Maybe it was just this one time but we had high hopes. They don't have same menu online as the one there. Business only has chicken tenders and chicken sandwiches. We ordered the meal, my understanding is it came with biscuits( there was none) fries (side because they were out of Mac and cheese) and dirty rice. It also came with 1/2 gallon of tea. I asked girl if it came with biscuits and she said yes. I got none. The tenders are good have a small spice everything else is average. Service is ok, 2 drive through lanes and quick for ordering. Def worth trying but seemed expensive for what I got in my opinion. Also, no way of contacting the store, phone number online doesn't work just error message even though it rang twice. Blueberry biscuits of love! My aunt called me all the way from another state to tell me Bojangles was in town! So I skedaddled on over there and had the biscuit you only have in dreams! I bit into the soft, soft icing topped love circle and melted! Sooooo extraordinary! It's such a great idea to mesh blueberries and biscuits into one! Two of my favorite things! I really enjoyed the food. My boyfriend and I got 5 piece tenders with biscuits and fries. I ordered just a grilled patty and dirty rice. The biscuit and chicken were both thick and delicious. The fries had some cajun seasoning which was yummy and were crisp. The service was alright. I was told I could not order grilled chicken by itself which is fine so I tried to get the sandwich and not have the bun. I was doing this because I have celiac disease and can not have gluten. They kept declining until eventually said it should be fine as we were trying to find a solution. I will start this off by saying I have had bojangles in North Carolina, so that's what I have to compare this too. I ordered 2 three piece meals, and one 4 piece meal. The biscuit was very dry, and even with jelly and syrup it tasted very bland. The strips were dry, over cooked, and didn't have much of the Cajun flavor I know bojangles can have. The lemonade was very nasty- and highly concentrated, to were the flavor sunk to the bottom of the cup. Customer service was nice, and the building was well lit and very clean. I was SO excited about San Antonio's first bojangles because I grew up eating it where I'm from. Sadly this is not exactly what I grew up with because it's a limited menu and prices are marked up compared to the east coast. When I was in high school I probably ate at bojangles weekly and always on breaks in college. The 4 piece supreme and the chicken sandwich were some of my favorites, along with the Cajun seasoned fries and sweet tea. One of the appealing points was that the fried chicken has a little spicy kick to it and it pairs beautifully with the honey mustard. However the Texas location is up charging basically all the menu items. It also doesn't offer any bone in fried chicken as of yet. There are only about 8 tables indoors so it can be a little challenging to sit down to eat during the summer. The service was good and relatively fast, I do wish they will eventually offer the entire OG menu so Texans can taste the full spectrum of yumminess Bojangles has to offer! read more

Well, well, well, I finally made it to Bojangles fast food establishment and it's a NO for me. They only have chicken strips, spicier than Popeye 's and the chicken appears to be breast meat. I ordered a family meal ($43) with dirty rice, Mac and cheese and peach cobbler. The order came with a half gallon of sweet tea which tasted good and biscuits. The remainder of the order for me, maybe not for someone else, was terrible. The chicken was hot and spicer than Popeye's, the Mac and cheese was good and the dirty rice was good. The biscuits were big and dry, not tasty like the biscuits at Popeye's or Church's chicken. I do understand this was Bojangles and not Popeye's or Church's. The peach cobbler was just a biscuit with a very sweet peach topping, not real peach cobbler. I read on the internet upon arrival, there would be long car lines, so get out of your car and go inside and order. I did get out of my car, there was two long car lines, went inside with no wait and I received my order expediously! I will not return to Bojangles, the food and dessert was not my liking, but the food might be to your liking. RECOMMENDATION: For me - NO. For someone else, maybe or yes. Happy eating! read more

It's BO Time San Antonio! Least that was my impression how busy this place was on a Monday night. The lines were long however that didn't stop the pace of the staff. The drive thru moved rather quickly however upon arrival we opted to eat inside given there was parking spot to choose from. At least a 20 minute drive from my home was better option and fresh. Anyhow, once inside the line to take your order went quick however took about 10-15 minutes to get our food. The inside is rather small has very limited seating only one table has more than 2 chairs with it however plenty of tables of 4 outside in their patio. Now let's rate the food! I ordered the 4 piece chicken tender combo includes 1 dipping sauce (beware ask for more will cost 50 cents extra), fries (coleslaw is extra 39 cents) and a biscuit with a medium drink. The chicken tender was crispy, fresh and has a kick to it gave it a spicy tender juicy goodness and the seasoned fries pair well with these giant tenders! Their flakey buttery biscuits are amazing warm and buttery, made me come back for more however no need when I ordered their famous Bo Berry Biscuits I've been hearing all about! The Bo Berry biscuits are delectable warm sweet blueberry goodness topped with sweet icing oh my this was where it was at! Overall, I highly recommend you give it a try, for the chicken tenders which has a nice spice, their Peach Honey pepper sauce is worth the try, warm buttery biscuits and Bo Berry Warm Sweet biscuits! This place is busy! Recommend parking at the auto zone or sonic and walk over to the restaurant because their parking lot is small and the drive thru gets really long. My favorite item from here is the berry muffins! You must order more than 1 because you will want for later in the day or even for breakfast. They are flakey, packed with berries and they are warm with some icing. read more

Service is very slow; there were plenty of workers, but they couldn't prepare the orders fast enough. Food was prepared and ready for packing, but they seemed to be reading and preparing the orders slow. I ordered the #12 combo, 5 tenders with fries and drink. I ordered an extra side, Mac & Cheese, and a side of Bo-berry biscuits. Like I mentioned, they are not packing the orders fast enough; chicken was dry barely warm; fries were very salty. The only side available for medium portions is the fries. The Mac & Cheese regular portion side is very small; it's not worth the price. I went for breakfast then grabbed for lunch. For breakfast I had a sausage biscuit with potato rounds and sweet cream iced coffee. I did not care for the sausage biscuit. The potato rounds were delicious. The iced coffee was good also. For lunch I bought a 5pc chicken strip meal which came out to $14. The chicken strips were good. They had good flavor. I did not care for the peach honey pepper sauce. The dirty rice was ok. Hopefully, this location adds more options on the lunch and dinner menu besides the chicken strips. Got in drive through line (that began at the light by Sonic), a few minutes before 6pm, made it up to speaker to order at 8:19pm! While in line, still a distance away, staffer was handing out paper menus, so there is no excuse to not know what you want to order. Not sure any food is worth this much of a wait...but others were doing exactly the same, before us & after us, line was extremely long & slow, even though line to order branched into 2 lines. After zigzag car pattern to get to window, finally made it to payment window at 8:30 pm & received food at 2nd window at 8:37 pm.
