Turkey sandwich with chocolate chip cookies
    Rose A.

This is my go to sandwich spot I always get it mikes way. today I tried the turkey sandwich on the Rosemary Parmesan bread. It was good by go to usually is the Italian sandwich I just wanted to give something else a try. Definitely sticking to what I am use to. The chocolate chip cookies were nice and soft.

If your sandwich slips out of your hand and falls to the floor, that's a Mike Drop. The service here is good over in Richmond. One of the things that I like about Jersey Mike's is that they are similarly priced to Subway these days - maybe slightly more - but the products are probably three or four times better. Still not my favourite sandwich is in the world, but like my friend Terry always says, if you want a sandwich from a chain for a good price, it doesn't get much better than this. I'm hoping he'll try Potbelly soon because I'm obsessed with them too, but these guys are great.

I was so happy when this location got finished! Jersey Mike's is one of my favorite places to get a sub! It's so much better than Subway, to me. I'm not sure what it is but there's not a day of the week that a Jersey Mike's sub won't hit the spot. This location is located right off the toll, between the Whataburger and H‑E‑B. There's a lot being built in this area so a Jersey Mike's is a great addition. Every time I've been to this location, my experience has been great! Staff is attentive and greets me as soon as I walk in the door and my order is always made exactly the same no matter who is behind the counter. My go to is a Turkey and Provolone! Glad to have this location in the area. I'll be back!

This is the newest Jersey Mike's location in our area, and my entire family was thrilled to see one open up near us. My older son and I had the opportunity to dine-in this evening. Service - I'd give them 10 stars for service alone. When we walked in, we were greeted promptly. There was a customer in front of me, and a staff member told me that they would be with me soon. They were patient as we decided what to order. Our food was brought to our table with a smile. When I asked about WiFi, the young man was so polite when he told me the WiFi access. The best part - I noticed that every time a customer entered, all 3 of the staff greeted them with an almost harmonious "hello". Atmosphere - this is a fast food place, but everything was very clean. From the bathroom to the tables, to the floors. Food - my son and I both ordered the original Philly cheesesteak. Both of our sandwiches came out hot, and mine remained hot til the last bite. They also offer Agave Vanilla Cream Soda as part of their fountain drink options, and it's delicious. Overall, kudos to Jersey Mike's manager/training department for doing such an excellent job of training their employees. The Whataburger next door could use some training from these guys!

Paper that was folded up in my cheese steak sandwich.

The sandwiches have been good before, but today there was paper folded up inside of it! I'm praying it was from the packaging of the meat or cheese. I had a portobello mushroom cheese steak. Nonetheless, the employees should know to look out for this kind of thing.

I really wanted a fried chicken sandwich but they only have grilled chicken sandwiches. They offered to use chicken tenders but I declined and went with a burger instead. Ketchup is kept cold. I like that. Bacon cheeseburger was fine. The burgers appear to be frozen patties. The bacon was salty and cooked well, not too crispy and not floppy. The lettuce was shredded, could've used more. They put both mayo & mustard on their burgers. The hickory burger was ok. You couldn't really taste the bbq sauce. Tots were cooked extra crispy. Luckily that's how I like them but most customers probably would've preferred less crispy; like my husband. The crinkle fries were also a little too crispy for husband. Not too crispy for me. Overall the meal wasn't bad. It's what you'd expect for a small family grill. Fairly priced for the economy we are in. Two combo burger meals ran us $30.

That's when we came across Cup N Char and noticed they offered Detroit-style pizza--something neither of us had tried before. We stopped by to order in person, and right away the staff made a great impression. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant itself was very clean. There were also a few groups dining in, which gave the place a nice, welcoming vibe. Since we wanted to try a variety, the staff recommended ordering a half-and-half medium pizza, which turned out to be the perfect suggestion. We went with half Italian Mob (pepperoni, onions, banana peppers, and sausage) and half Grassy Chicken (chicken, onions, and banana peppers). Both sides were flavorful, with the Detroit-style crust really standing out--crispy on the edges and soft inside. We also ordered the chicken wings with the original hot sauce, and those were a great addition. The flavor was rich and buttery--definitely a must-have alongside the pizza. Overall, the portions were generous, and we loved being able to mix and match flavors. This is a spot we'll definitely be coming back to for takeout pizza and wings.

It was self seating but the way the rooms are split up, we weren't 100% sure where we were allowed to sit and no one was in the front greeting anyone as they come in so you couldn't really ask questions unless you go to the bar first which was located towards the back. The tables were all dirty so we picked the least dirty table which still had crumbs all over it but we just tried to wipe them away as best as we could. The customers who came in after us picked the table next to us which was dirty as well but their server went and wiped it down for them which was nice. Our server was kind and answered all of our questions and we did inform her it was our first time so she suggested a few appetizers and we started with French Onion Dip. It was TO DIE FOR! The tortilla chips it comes with were perfectly crisped and salted and it hit all the right flavors. The food? Oh my word. The servings are MASSIVE. My husband ordered the Philly cheese steak with a side of onion rings and it did not disappoint! I ordered the chicken Cobb salad with a side of their Brussel sprouts. The chicken Cobb salad came with two small scoops of chicken salad and it was so light and refreshing and nothing like any other chicken salad I've ever had! Our server brought me a little bit of Parmesan cheese to top off the Brussel sprouts with and it was so good. All in all, the food was a hit! At first look, everything looked really good so I was really excited to try this. Unfortunately, the burgers were super greasy. I personally do not enjoy eating a burger and grease running down my arms. That is just my personal opinion, but the burgers were really greasy. The french fries tasted stale and not very fresh. They were edible, but I would've liked to have had fresher french fries that were really fresh. The drink drinks were actually very good and very fresh and perfect on the combination of syrup and carbonation. I think I would possibly try this establishment again and try their hotdog, but as for the burger, they were way too greasy and weren't anything real special.

The location of the restaurant is not immediately visible from the Main Street. It was tucked away on the rear of a building creating a little challenge to find. Patty's is set up for orders at a counter in the back of dining room then take a number to the table for delivery. The dining room is very bright and simply decorated but spacious for a bistro. I ordered the Grandma's Morning Casserole and it was a solid 5/5 with great quality sausage and bacon. Everything about the dish is near perfect, especially the tasty crispy tater tots. My request for a croissant with the breakfast was honored and it was delicious. This gave me idea to check out more baked good from the showcase. I purchased a carrot cake to go and later wished I had bought two. The cake wasn't the traditional style with nuts and shredded carrots. Instead, the cake was the consistency of pound cake that came covered in a rich chocolate drizzled over the top. The cashier/barista Laura was so friendly and we enjoyed talking to her. You order at the counter, water is self service from a water station and the food is delivered to your table. I was here for Saturday brunch & got the "special omlette" with ham substituted for the prosciutto. The ham is deli-type ham. The omelette was very flavorful & tasty, however, definitely thinner than I am accustomed to eating. It did not come with any bread option or side item so make sure you look at the breakfast side items (only located on the Saturday/Sunday brunch menu, not the main menu) or ask about side items. I don't have a large appetite & I must admit I was still a little hungry. I inquired about bread after I finished & they offered to bring me some toast but I was already done eating. I had a bite of hubby's breakfast sausage & croissant. I'm not a big sausage person but the sausage tasted smoky with a hint of sweetness and it was yummy! The croissant was also buttery & good. I'd add that to my omelette order next time. Of course we had to try some sweets since there were so many options. We got the carrot cake; it's Brazilian style, which differs from the standard American version. The cake had carrots only, no nuts, a little less sweet, pound cake-like consistency and topped with chocolate. I enjoyed it! I also got a chocolate cake slice to-go. It's super rich with chocolate filling layers made with condensed milk. A bit too rich for me but I'm sure others will love it. They also have coffee drinks and they are setup to do the basics drinks (mocha latte, cappuccino, etc) without all the syrup flavors. I ordered a cortado. Although it is not on their menu, the barista gladly said she would try to do her best. I provided directions on the espresso to milk ratio for a cortado & she absolutely nailed it. The coffee was robust & without the traditional vanilla syrup available, a little brown sugar added made the drink great. I will definitely return. I'll try their lunch menu next time.
