Stopped by in SC for a wedding and tried this Bojangles. Food came out fast even with a big order and the employees were friendly. The chicken was good, probably a slight step above most Popeyes in California. The real home run for me was the sweet potato pies, those had me hooked and I'd come back solely for them!! Raven & Montae are awesome. They are very friendly and helpful. I'm visiting from Colorado and they took time out of their day to help answer questions about the city on top of also providing an outstanding experience with the restaurant. They don't have Bojangles in Colorado so this was my first time trying it and it's great food also. I really appreciate these two individuals. Little details like that stick with you and make you want to come back. I'm hoping to move out here so I will be eating here a lot this was a very welcoming experience and I'm thankful for the help, great services, and great food. 10/5 stars if possible. read more

I wanted to order a family size dirty rice and a sausage gravy about 2 hours before they closed. I was told they were no longer serving sausage gravy even though it's supposed to be available all day and then paid almost $6 for a partially filled cup of rice. I used to love Bojangles growing up but they closed the one near my home and was excited now that I live near one but every time I order something it's either unavailable or very small portion especially for the price. read more

Ordered a $10 breakfast combo. Asked for a honey mustard. Lady who looked like a manager asked me for 53cents. I had paid with a card and was searching my dash for the change but did not have it. I tried to hand it back she threw up her hands as if she was angry. Ruined my morning. Drive to the Highway 17 location towards Surfside. Service there is awesome and the manager there gives you all the sauce you want for free with a smile and positive word. Even gave my daughter a free boberry for her birthday. Girl who took my money was the same girl who decided to make my food without gloves!! I asked for my money back after explaining it was disgusting to handle money and credit cards and then my food. The manager came to the window and gave me an attitude when I explained what had happened and accused me of lying about the girl who was helping me. Nasty food handling and nasty attitudes. Excellent service, I walked in and was helped within a minute. My food was ready right afterward, we do not have any Bojangles' in New York so this is always a treat when visiting South Carolina!! I prefer this over Chick Fil a when I'm South Carolina!! read more

Girl with enviable lashes but regrettable attitude was less than welcoming and offered unenthusiastic, slightly nasty help. Outside wait was LONNNNNG! Inside tables sticky and nasty. Bathroom for women was in deplorable condition with toilet paper everywhere it didn't belong, not quite aligned door latch, general dirtiness and only blowdrier for hands, despite COVID. Food was ok but our order wasn't correct. I wasn't given a receipt and was afraid to ask the mean (but enviable eyelashes) girl for a correction. Sorry Bo. I came to this location at 9:40 when they close at 10. I got the automatic message asking me to order then as I finished ordering nothing was said. We waited 5 minutes before we pulled around and saw a girl purposely ignoring us. When we pulled back around to the order screen we got a "we are currently closed" message. It wasn't even 9:50. It was frustrating and rude and if they didn't close at 10 they should update hours However until then they should do the job the are paid to do. read more

Staff was prompt in the beginning of our order... Found a hair on a biscuit. We thought the chicken was greasy and too much pepper. Mashed potatoes had cold spots through it.. mgr could careless about the hair!! our first time at a bojangles, won't return we will remain fans of popeyes. read more

As area Bojangles' go, this one is about middle. It can get rather busy at times - especially around high tourist traffic times. Service is quick and accurate. Quality is equal to all of the rest. It's clean and tidy. It would be nice if the TV and radio weren't cranked up at the same time - when added to diner noise it gets pretty loud. Best place on this side of Carolina Forest to get a biscuit no matter what time of day. read more

I have always patronized this business and always given glowing reviews in their customer surveys; however, my last experience changed all that. I have participated in the mug program since it started several years ago. I paid for the mug and get drinks free, even without the mug. My wife does also. This time the manager, Jessie Griffin, came out with a scowl on his face and rudely told my wife that this was not the way it works. I offered to pay for the drinks, but he stalked into the back. He was rude and disrespectful to us and his employees. The atmosphere was very oppressive. This man does not need to be dealing with the public. I noted all this in the customer survey on the receipt, and my wife left a message for the district manager to contact her. She was ignored. Neither me nor my family or friends will patronize this particular restaurant as long as Mr. Stuckey works there. read more

Until today, I was a Bojangles virgin. I moved here from California a few months ago. I have been driving by the Carolina Forest location almost every day, wondering if the food was good or not. I finally went in and ordered the 3 piece combo(1 leg, 2 thighs) It comes with 2 sides or "fixins" I got the seasoned fries and mac & cheese. Well, I was very pleasantly surprised. The chicken had a crispy coating, and was tender inside, and the seasoned fries were delicious and also hot and crispy. The mac & cheese was the best chain restaurant mac & cheese I have tasted. It wasn't runny and bland like most places. It was not overcooked and mushy. It was good. This Bojangles on Renee drive in Carolina Forest was clean inside and out. The employees were polite and helpful. Overall a good experience. I will be coming back. read more

Went by here during my trip from CA to SC to get my Bojangles fix being pregnant and they don't have them out there, only to be disappointed.. There sweet tea was horrible, wasn't the regular brand that I've had eating there from many other locations. Their credit card reader was down, messed up my order and had to ask them to fix 2 different times. They serve brown gravy instead of sausage gravy with the mashed potatoes. They don't carry cinnamon twist, but cinnamon biscuits , in which would have been good, if not so hard and over cooked. Definitely ruined my bojangles experience. read more

I've never been to a Bojangles' before, but you can bet I'll be back. The people were so friendly, the food is excellent, the restaurant is spotless, and the prices are wonderful. Got the pork bbq sandwich with fries. Kids got kids meals. Even the kids meals had plenty of food. The pork sandwiches were huge. We went back because we had to try the chicken and each got a drumstick. It was so good. Hot, juicy and bigger than most drumsticks you get these days. Very impressed! read more
