This has been a favourite of ours for a while today we had the steak Philly dip which was great as always, my wife had beer battered chicken tenders which were crisp and juicy. I ordered the shepard's pie which unfortunately had to be sent back due to having almost no beef filling and all mashed potato, I spoke with the manager who removed it from our bill asked if I wanted remade I said no thank-you but he never asked if I wanted something else. Luckily our waitress asked and I selected the meatloaf sandwich which was quite good but I could tell the waitress was clearly annoyed with me for sending back the Shepard's pie. Service was good overall. This is a very relaxed restaurant and bar with outdoor seating and indoor bar and booths but inside can be very noisy. Overall a solid 3 stars. read more

I go there once a week. Food is great! Very impressive! It's extremely noisy at certain times (which we avoid). It's so loud we either have to sit outside on the patio( where it's hot or wind up taking it to go. We're newer to the area and pulled up because we wanted to support local. We loved the bar and grill type feel but had a hard time getting the tv to work at our booth. Service was good but nothing super wowed me. They have a TON of options on the menu but maybe if they slimmed down the options a bit they could put some more razzle dazzle on a select few options. read more

We stopped on for a quick bite. It's definitely a sports bar atmosphere but outside is a spacious covered patio with a generous grouping of tables. The waitstaff was on point refilling before being asked and came back several times to inquire if we needed anything else. Food was standard bar offerings but tasty. Overall a pretty experience. A nice relaxing sports bar atmosphere. I had the fish tacos which were decent. My boyfriend got sliders which were ok but he loved the fries. The fried mushrooms were a stand out and will definitely be ordered again. We will definitely be back for a PSU game read more

Long shopping day near Tanger outlets and we found a great deal! The mom and grandma split a shrimp po-boy and it was perfectly seasoned and cooked shrimp and enough food for us both. The bread was soft versus the crunchy rolls most places serve. My daughter's chicken ranch sandwich was also perfect with actual thick, yummy chicken breast that wasn't cooked to the point of rubber. The food wasn't bad but the service was horrendous. After an hour the waitress said our food was coming right out. After a table that placed their order more than 10 minutes after we placed ours got their food, we started worrying. 5 minutes later, the waitress said there was a mix-up on my chicken sandwich because of the large table that came in afterward. Apparently, they sat outside because inside was empty. I asked the waitress where the large table was that caused our mistake, since 3 tables that ordered after we did were served their food. The answer I got was "I NEVER SAID THERE WAS A MISTAKE!!!" I really was quite upset after spending 1.75 hours in a place waiting for two sandwich order and didn't feel the need to explain that mistake is part of the definition of mix-up. The seasoning was perfectly balanced and the toppings added a nice texture. 10/10 would order again! I normally prefer crispier fries, but these still had a nice crisp on the outside and great flavor. Bobby's beef wrap was to die for! It has the perfect amount of meat and other fillings. It was amazing with and without the gravy that came on the side. It was also HUGE. When I ate the leftovers, it was just as good as it was when I got it fresh. The pasta salad was good too. First time here since we were visiting area. Yelp reviews did not disappoint. Was in the mood for a hamburger and the hamburger was very moist and tasty. We had the wings and they were good too. Onion rings didn't have a lot of flavor. Cold slaw was good. Service was excellent. Very loud place even outdoors, but good music. We would recommend and return. Came here for lunch while I was visiting the area and everything was great. Starting with service, we were greeted right away and our server was very attentive and nice the entire visit. We started off with the fried mushrooms app, which came out quite literally within 2 minutes of ordering. I am not a big fan of mushrooms, but I thought they were decent. We got both horseradish mayo and ranch and were not charged extra for both sauces. For entrees, we got the french dip and cobb sandwich. The french dip was really tasty, but I wish the meat was a little less dry and there was more of it. My dad had the cobb sandwich and really liked it - I haven't seen many sandwiches with hard boiled eggs on them, but he said it was good. We also got a generous portion of sides with our meals. My dad enjoyed the pasta salad and I liked the homemade fries they served. Everything was reasonably priced as well. Super nice covered patio area outside, bar inside, and TVs at each booth inside. Shameful! My family and I have been dining at handleys for over 6 years now and have first hand witnessed the decline of their food quality and safety. Last night however, will be the last time we EVER eat there again. There was 4 of us, we all had completely different meals, and all 4 of us have been up all night, physically throwing up, accompanied by all the nastiness that comes with food poisoning. All the portions are half the size they were just a year ago, and the quality of the meats are bottom of the barrel! Now, allow me to say" credit where it's due" service is and has always been great. Menu was traditional Irish pub fare w some American ding stuff mixed in. Wife had the quesadilla app as a meal. Was a healthy size and she liked it. I had Fish & chips. This is where it all took a turn. The fries were barely hot & had bad texture. Flimsy & bland. The fish was way over battered & cooked till the breading was rock hard & the fish was dried out. Kind of a strangely eclectic decor of sports bar meets Irish Pub. They have about 10 beers on tap, most of which were basic domestics, though they did have Smithwick's flowing. This is more of a "meat and potatoes" pub, and there's wrong with that at all. Just don't expect to have a super inventive menu at your disposal with a stellar craft beer selection; it's just not that kind of place. Bartender was very attentive and quite friendly, chatty. I doubt you'll go thirsty if you sit at the bar, and to me, this is a very, very good thing. Wife and I hit up their happy hour at about 4 pm on a Monday and the place was empty; that's all good. People started slowly filtering in over the next hour or so. Casual, yet chatty crowd sat at the bar and at various booths/tables. Folks were friendly and mostly local it seemed. Draft beers are 50 cents off during happy hour, which I believe runs from 4 to 7 Monday through Friday. Plenty of food specials on their happy hour menu. We got an order of mozzie sticks and 10 honey bbq wings, extra crispy. Both orders were just fine without issue and we'd order both again. I will say that the food came out really quick, but I believe it was because we were the only ones to have ordered food at that point. We found HH food prices to be reasonable. Not sure if they mix a great cocktail or not and they do have quite a few bottled beers, but if you're looking for an extensive craft beer draft list, Handley's will leave you disappointed. WiFi was strong and free, just like 'merica and there was lots of parking lot parking. I also found the men's bathroom to be clean, which is a must for me. We'll be back as we enjoyed ourselves.
