I'm from Charlotte. We have a lot of good BBQ. Noble Smoke, Jon G's, etc etc. Fire to Table is on par or better with every single dish. Brisket, chicken, pork... it was all a 10/10. TLDR: Very good bbq in the Inlet, some of the best in Myrtle. I'm going to preface this review by saying that I've become a bit of a BBQ critic. You can blame that on living in the Carolina's for 13+ years and having a neighbor who thinks smoking meat is an art form. Fire to Table looked like a great dinner option for the entire family, so we went early with a reservation. I'm glad we did, as the place filled up quickly. The beer selection was pretty good, and I knew I had to try the BBQ platter to see how it stacked up against others. Everything I had was good - the ribs were tender, the pulled pork had good flavor, and the sauce was tasty. The brisket could have been a little juicier, but I tend to like them as little more fatty than lean, and thicker sliced. But still, very good. The owner stopped by our table and was very friendly. All in all, I would recommend this to anyone looking for BBQ in the Inlet, especially if you want to avoid the craziness around the other restaurants just down the road. read more

Fan-freakin-tastic!!! From the outside, I would've never have guessed how awesome this place is! There's dirt out front, an obscure entrance, an outdoor bar, some bar tables and picnic tables. When you walk upstairs, it's beautiful! Nothing super fancy but Country-chic meets modern lines. The bar is well stacked and has a welcoming design. The staff is so insanely friendly greeting us warmly. But where they shine is the food. AH-MAY-ZINGGGG! We started off with the BBQ, Bacon, Mac & Cheese Egg Rolls and they were fire! Both the pulled pork and pastrami sandwiches were on point. If you up for something spicy, try the jalapeño baked beans. Loved em! We had banana pudding for dessert and if I were to make a single negative comment would be the mason jar serving vessel for the pudding. While certainly nostalgic for a BBQ place, I couldn't reach all the nooks with my spoon to get all the last bits of delicious pudding out. But don't worry, will be back for another helping. Came here after visiting Huntington Beach State Park, and we arrived hungry. The food and drinks did not disappoint! We started with the peel-and-eat shrimp, which was absolutely flavorful and perfectly chilled after a hot day at the beach. I'm from Texas, so I have high standards for barbecue, and the pulled pork sandwich definitely delivered! I also snagged a bite of my hubby's smoked pastrami sandwich, and it was one of the most phenomenal sandwiches I've ever eaten. I seriously regret not stretching my stomach to the max so I could have ordered a whole one for myself! The sides were incredibly fresh, and everything tasted homemade. We even had the chance to meet the owner--such an awesome guy who made the experience even better. 10/10... actually, 100/100 I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the area. read more

AMAZING SERVICE! Ray, the owner, is very friendly and exceptionally knowledgeable about his restaurant and bourbon selection. The bourbon selection and prices were excellent. The restaurant itself was clean and had a good atmosphere. The pulled pork was delicious even without sauce! Mac and cheese was some of the best restaurant mac and cheese that I've had. The onion rings were perfectly cooked. The CORNBREAD was AMAZING. I can't say enough about how good the cornbread was seriously. Brisket was yummy, tender, and well sauced. Corn was seasoned well and delicious as well. Sausage and Peppers sandwich was one of the best and also had a great price tag! Had a hankering for BBQ and Fire to Table definitely satisfied it!! The restaurant was nice near the marsh in Murrels Inlet. Found the restaurant on social media and the reviews were pretty good. However after trying the food I was disappointed it didn't meet the all the hype. Reminded me too much of River City Cafe or Bubbas. read more

The food was excellent, some of the best brisket I have ever had, only to be exceeded by the service and how accommodating everyone was from the waitresses to Ray the owner. A group of us brought a girlfriend there for her birthday party June 13 everyone's food was excellent. Our party consisted of eight people service was great. The waitress was very attentive. The band was awesome that night. Unfortunately they were rained out in the middle of the show I highly recommend this place and we are local. We had a wedding welcome party for 65 people for our son and daughter-in-law at this restaurant and it could not have gone better! We were allowed to decorate the outside picnic tables to enhance the ambiance under the large tree with beautiful Spanish moss. The food was delicious, the service was top notch and the drinks were flowing from the outside bar. Following the party, a band played on the deck to finish the night! We have been regular patrons of this restaurant since they opened and will continue for years to come when we visit the area. Also the price for the food and drinks was beyond reasonable. Our experience was horrible. We made a reservation back in April because we have a large group of people and we wanted to make sure we got a table. We are from out of town and travel yearly with family. We waited 40 minutes for drinks and then half of our entrees came out. The other half took 30 minutes. The check came out and there was no mention of comping anything so we asked if we could get a discount. They gave us 5%. Our group was 17 people. First if all, all of the food received was extraordinary! The fries were perfectly seasoned, Mac and cheese fantastically melted, and all meat was cooked satisfactory! The setting was beautiful on the outdoor patio no complaints on that end. We had the absolute privilege of meeting the owner, who was a delightful human being with pride in his establishment. A complaint is the generic, "fancy Tomato Ketchup," which was not as fancy as it was displayed. As a Pittsburgh, PA citizen I truly missed Heinz. Our server, although nice, was rather slow at fulfilling our miscellaneous requests, and bringing us our check. The banana pudding was very highly talked of, was very underwhelming. So I'll start off by we found this place by driving past it... we looked at the menu and it looked good... the service was really good and our waiter was professional and polite ... the atmosphere was pretty nice it wasn't too noisy or too busy and we were able to get a seat quickly... our food tasted amazing ... burnt ends for both beef and turkey tasted amazing ... our dinner sandwiches were really good and were made properly... if we were going by food alone I'd give it 4.5-5 stars... however, the problem I have is the cost for appetizers were higher than actual meals and the portions were not the biggest ... when I asked about the check I was told that they " just re did their menus and they up-charge appetizers" also they add on an additional credit card fee for usage so if you go you may want to bring cash .... With that being said the cost for value to food is just not there and although it was delicious consider the hidden costs that this place puts on you ... a meal that should have been around 50-70 dollars quickly went over 100 with a tip ... a bit more price transparency would have gone a long way when ordering. read more

We were vacationing during Spring Bike week. Before things got too crazy in that area, my little family of three ventured to Fire to Table for dinner . My daughter and husband got the brisket and I got the burnt ends. The sides were as delicious as the meat. We had a lot of leftovers to bring back to the condo. I was looking forward to visiting this place based on their reviews and menu. Unfortunately, it did not live up to my expectations. Here's how it all went down... My buddy and I stopped in around 3:39 or so on a Tuedsay afternoon. There was one other table with customers at it, so needless to say it was not peak hours. We were told to sit anywhere so we did. A waitress ( not our actual waitress) came by with menus and took our drink order. We ordered lemonade and tea. The lemonade was missing one crucial ingredient, the lemon... the tea tasted horrible, almost like soap medicine. So we asked for new drinks. The next lemonade actually tasted like lemonade. My buddy went for a Cpt. Morgan and coke. It came and he said that it sure didn't taste like Cpt Morgan, but more like some other cheaper rum, and there was still a soap taste in it as if the glasses still had soap on them. Needless to say, those drinks were not finished.. :( For food, we ordered the brisket mac and cheese, and the smoked sausage and pepper sandwich. The mac and cheese tasted fine, but the brisket had no seasoning or smoke flavor to it and needed a lot of BBQ sauce to be put onto it. The sausage and peppers sandwich was actually pretty good and was the item that I was looking forward to trying. So that was pretty good. The place sits atop a fairly steep set of stairs unless you want to take the mile long ramp up instead. On a plus, the actual waitress we had was very friendly, so kudos to her. The service here was good. The waitress was nice and helpful-the outfit felt a little hooters-esque. I got the burnt ends which were fine. I found them too sweet (the menu does say they have brown sugar though). I also found there to be too many stringy ones as compared to the good fatty ones (but that could be a personal preference). I liked both the sides I got: the potato salad was solid as was the horse radish pineapple slaw-way better than it sounds-it is very well balanced. The cornbread was excellent. First of all to the owner!!!! The entertainment wasn't free in my mind. I paid 80 bucks for some wings and a brisket sandwich and yes, the wings were burnt the first time and when they brought them out the second time I just dealt with the over sauced wings that wouldn't still right so when you came up to the table and asked me, is everything OK? What do you want me to do? Throw them back in your face? I didn't get nothing for free my credit card was charged for food and drinks don't you ever threatened to put put a lawsuit on me I have a right as a consumer to let people know that your bar needs help and yes, we did have trouble getting drinks. Most of your customers did that night. You had people walk out people were bitching about not having service your own server, that poor boy who worked his butt off that night, said he couldn't even take it no more and how sorry he was he was the only one out there while they were four bartenders standing behind a bar and yes when a bar asked to keep my credit card I'm gonna question that because no Bar Murrels Inlet does this not even down there were dead dog is or wahoo. They don't take your card now if you got a problem with trusting your consumers and your customers then that's your issue not mine. You just lost four customers. And you can't sue me for posting my comment I didn't get nothing for free!!!!!! if you don't like your customers posting reviews to take yourself off of Yelp and what are you talking about under age drinking and there's nobody under age every single one of us is over 50 years old and 60 years old. read more

Not an issue except it was raining and difficult to maneuver in the rain. The inside was crowded and smelled old and musty so we decided to sit outside. Bad move on our part as there was already a table of about 20 there, but we made do. Someone came and took our drink order and never came back. Then someone else came to take our order and said they had a server call out and were short staffed. Okay, I can understand, life happens. So we placed our orders and waited. I came in here on a Saturday night. It was difficult to find parking since the place was pretty busy. I was able to find a spot inside at the bar. I ordered off the happy hour menu getting a taco and the Brussel sprouts. These were the best Brussel sprouts that I've ever had! They were cooked to a crispy perfection and I would have never thought to pair them with a blue cheese sauce until I tried it! For a beverage, I was intrigued by a fancy martini pic that I saw on social media. I ended up ordering the campfire s'mores one and it was delicious! read more
