We had the chefs 5 course meal for 2. The food was delicious and the portions were huge for 5 courses. We left full for sure. It's not appetizer soup salad entree and dessert. It's 4 main courses with a dessert. We enjoyed lobster salad for our first course, halibut with lemon risotto for our second course, pork kabobs with grits for our third course. Our 4th course was hanger steak Asian style with peanut mashed potatoes. Finally dessert was white chocolate milk with a cannoli cream. I did the wine pairing and enjoyed each glass with my meal. It was Halloween, and my wife and I were walking around the beach and boardwalk looking for a place with a good happy hour. Just down the road we found KC's Bistro, checked out the menu on Yelp, and decided to give it a try. As usual, we sat in the bar area. We ordered drinks -- I had an Old Fashioned and my wife had a Margarita -- and the happy hour prices were great. While we were deciding on dinner, it was fun seeing all the kids and adults in costumes walking around the shopping area and restaurants. It added a nice festive atmosphere to the evening. For dinner, we ordered: CK's 1/2 lb Bistro Burger -- with bacon jam, lettuce, tomato, pickles, house-made signature sauce (added cheese for $1.25) Chicken Cordon Bleu Sandwich -- with prosciutto, Swiss, provolone, parmesan aioli on a brioche bun, with a side salad instead of fries While we waited, we overheard other guests enjoying the happy hour food items. One table told us how delicious everything was and mentioned that the chef previously worked for a famous chef before opening this place. When our food arrived, everything was excellent. My burger was cooked perfectly, and the fries were amazing. My wife's Chicken Cordon Bleu sandwich was also very good, and the side salad was fresh and flavorful. A table next to us ordered the fries topped with bacon jam -- they looked incredible, and the guy told us they were amazing. That's definitely something we'll be trying next time. And we will be back -- in about 3-4 weeks! Overall, KC's Bistro is absolutely going on our list of go-to restaurants when we're in town. read more

Recently had a meal there. The special was a fried rice dish supposedly loaded with proteins: beef, chicken, scallops, and shrimp. The server did not offer the special's price. I chose it for the protein content but never would I imagine that a large bowl of fried rice would/could cost $62.00. It had some beef and some seafood, but mostly chicken. It did not taste any different than the typical chicken fried rice from any of the local Chinese food restaurants around the area. All of the food was freshly prepared. Our group ordered multiple different items: the mushroom tart (outstanding); the crab cakes (terrific); the bourbon maple glazed Brussels sprouts (fabulous) the Caesar Salad (made to order); the pork chop dinner (delicious). Our group enjoyed each and every dish. Service was great considering it was a Friday and all tables were full; the atmosphere is gay and inviting. Quality of food, presentation of food, and taste of food never disappoints. They offer a wide range of options, and if you can get Shane as your waiter, you will be pleased. He is very friendly and efficient. The dining room ambiance is very nice. The only time I've experienced a problem was with a young gentleman, who was hosting on 8/19/2026. He was young, immature, and wanted to argue with our waiter in front of my party of two. I felt a little embarrassed because I had recommended CK's, and it was her first time there. Very mediocre food while paying a premium. Do not order a special without asking the price! My wife ordered the shrimp scampi special and it came out on ravioli with a few shrimp/scallops. The real kicker was we get the bill and it was $72 - the same price as their Ribeye special. I got the pan seared scallops which was plated well, but the scallops had no sear and I questioned whether they were even cooked through. The drinks were good but I would not recommend getting a meaningful meal there. I felt kind of scammed by the time we paid for it all. I should have read some of the negative reviews on here before going. It's just a tourist/money grab restaurant in Market Common. read more

Was excited to try CK's Bistro. Stopped in for lunch recently. Ordered the Gorgonzola Salad. It came out much different than any I ever had. This was basically broken stem pieces of romaine (very little leafy pieces) along with feta drenched in salad dressing. I asked the waitress about the candied walnuts (listed as included). She said "I'll get you more"...um, there were none in my salad. Shocker: after a long wait (only one other table there) she brings out a small dish of walnuts covered in white sugar-as of these were candied walnuts. My friend had the pesto chicken sandwich which was bland. Even the fries weren't good. I'm a local and def won't be back. read more

I ordered a special; Asian pork chop, wasabi mashed potatoes and stir fried mixed vegetables. The food- I got the grouper special- came with lightly fried grouper, shrimp, on a bed of risotto and zucchini with a delicious balsamic glaze.... I was BLOWN away!! My favorite vacation meal yet. You can tell that the food is made in house with care. Our waitress was absolutely lovely and the chef came around to check on the tables to see how the meals came out. This was our second visit and one thing I've definitely learned my lesson on, is ask the price of the specials! $12 for the special watermelon high drink of the day and over $50 for beef short ribs & mashed potatoes seemed a bit excessive, and didn't include a salad just 5 skinny asparagus stalks. They both were good but not at those prices. My husband had Chicken Parmesan that was more reasonably priced and very nice size portion. We had their bread pudding that was just OK. So my husband offered to take me out for dinner @ Market Commons last night because he wanted to go to Barnes & Noble. After looking at a few different menus, we opted to go to CK's Bistro and so very GLAD we did!! I had heard good things about it and wanted to check it out. Everything was SUPERB!! The Menu, The Food, The Wait Staff (shout out to Shane and Nick!) , The atmosphere and of course Chef Kevin (CK). We shared the Zucchini Fritts that are just out of this world and I chose Red Snapper w/ parmesan asparagus risotto. Need I say more??!! Unbelievably fantastic! I am eating the leftovers for lunch as we speak. My husband had a Special of Stuffed Peppers Meatloaf and oh wow! So, So good! Neither one of us has had a meal like this in a long time. I mean the kind of meal that you have absolutely ZERO complaints! I even discovered I new wine that I fell in Love with - Oyster Bay Sauvignon blanc.
