When our calamari came, it was not made as it was in the past, and was tough, no bananna peppers and was bland. When our dinner arrived, we had a spiny southern lobster that was mushy and stuck to the shell. It was not a Main Lobster as we were told. We were dissapointed that the quality of the seafood was poor & the prices went up! Needless to say, I will not return to this establishment. This distinction helps to mitigate the high cost. We began our meal with a shared tuna tower, which was of excellent quality. It was evident that the fish used was sushi grade, fresh, and delectable. We also shared a side of broccolini, which was enjoyable but not exceptional. I opted for the Chilean sea bass, which is consistently excellent. Although I am not a fan of Beurre blanc, I was offered compounded garlic butter as an alternative. However, upon reviewing the bill, we discovered an unexpected upcharge. In my opinion, 21 Main should reconsider this practice, especially considering that the ingredients are not significantly different. My husband had the NY strip steak, which was satisfactory, but it was not served at the requested medium-rare temperature. Instead, it was closer to medium. A steakhouse, particularly of this caliber, should not make such an error. The meal concluded with an espresso, which was excellent and served piping hot. Despite the occasional shortcomings, 21 Main remains a favorite dining destination. I hope that the owners will take the time to read this review and consider the feedback provided.

We had the mussels appetizer, the sauce was very good then my husband had the lobster ravioli and I had a lady's night special of sirloin steak, I added the side dish of Brussels sprouts with bacon, Parmesan and balsamic sauce. Eric returned with our meals, the Salmon was thick, fresh, moist, well colored but most of all DELICIOUS. The asparagus was also delicious, not woody at all. How can you mess up a Valentine's Day Dinner? Well it starts with the restaurant canceling Open Table contract a few days before Valentine's Day so everyone who made a reservation for Valentine's Day to Bistro B for Valentine's Day got an e mail saying their reservation had been canceled. Right then I should have gone somewhere else but I didn't and took a chance. My reservation was for me and my girl so figured everything would be good. Made it to the restaurant and was seated at a table that had the previous guests garbage all over the table and when a server finally arrived, asked us if we were ready for our tab?? Seriously!! After I explained that we just got seated, the waiter asked if we were ready to order, yet we have not seen menus and no one had noticed the shit Pyle of garbage the previous guests had left. Once the waiter came back my beautiful lady ordered a sushi roll and so I went ahead and ordered while we had someone's attention. A few minutes after we ordered, the waiter came back over and said that they didn't have the items we ordered so we ordered again. A few more minutes go by and the waiter comes back and isn't sure if they have the items we ordered again. They gave us menus but apparently only had items on a specific Valentine's menu that no one explained to us or notified us of when making the reservation. No problem, I'll just order the fettuccine Alfredo with salmon on it and my girl said she was fine with the sushi roll. Shortly after ordering again the waiter comes back and says the sushi bar is closed BUT someone is going to make it for us anyways. I wasn't sure the purpose of this communication but in my mind I'm thinking this will be interesting. Not everyone knows how to make sushi but hey A is for effort! Fast forward, our food gets delivered and I received a slab of noodles that tasted like it had been soaking milk (fettuccine Alfredo) and a turd of salmon that looked like it had been swapped off someone else's plate. I had also ordered the bang bang shrimp that I was hoping to take home for my kids but I received 5 shrimp and some weird piece of bread next to them. I think they were pita chips but not real sure. I forgot to mention that the sushi roll my girl ordered looked like a bunch of shit was rolled up in a pancake. We had to cut it up to eat and someone asked if we had ordered a loaded baked potato. Lol. I wasn't trying to be rude but I was so ready to get out of there and calmly asked for to go boxes which they drummed up pretty quickly. The manager had stopped by our table multiple times to try and help which we appreciated but he could tell that they had ruined what we hoped was going to be a nice night out. To top it off, they overcharged us for a few items which I shrugged my shoulders over because I just wanted to leave and handed the waiter my card. I couldn't believe it when he came back and said, I'm sorry I accidentally charged someone else's tab on your card but I fixed it. lol. No apologies, no "how can we make this right because we have fucked up royally", no nothing but a shitty night. On a positive note, the place is really nice inside and has a neat atmosphere. They had a girl singing in background who was amazing. Insane voice! I hope they can turn these issues around because it is a nice restaurant. Someone did a nice job designing.
