I really wanted to enjoy my visit at Vincenzo's but it fell just a bit short for me. First, the stairs to the upstairs dining were steep and hard to navigate for me. We were promptly seated with menus by a smiling waiter. The restaurant apparently doesn't do specials and had no 'recommendations' for us. I selected Frutti de Mar and DH had Chicken Parmesan that he said was underwhelming. My seafood was tasty but reeked and had a copious amount of sand. We were catered to by servers but just didn't enjoy our food. Perhaps another time. read more

Parking: Easy parking since it is in a plaza! Ambiance: The ambiance is wonderful. The decor is great and it is very inviting. Service: Service was good considering it was prime dinner time and we were a large group. Food: The appetizer bread was great and one of my friends asked for a spicy marinara and it was amazing. If you like a nice spice level do NOT skip out on it! We ordered the watermelon burrata salad and it was very good and refreshing. For dinner we ordered 3 pizzas: one margarita, one with fig/balsamic/arugula on top, and one pepperoni! All tasted amazing! We had high hopes coming in, but unfortunately, the experience really let us down. We were our waitresses only table, and she just didn't seem prepared. She had no idea what the kitchen was out of, we place an order we were excited about, only for the kitchen to inform her (and us) that it wasn't available. This happened not once, but three times as we tried to settle on a dish. When we finally did get a food order in, it came out wrong. The main dish came out before the appetizer. On top of that, waters weren't refilled until we got tired of waiting and asked, dirty plates sat in front of us for far too long, and basic service was lacking. Meanwhile, the waitstaff sat at the bar right behind us, chatting about their personal lives instead of doing their jobs. We were offered free dessert for all of our inconveniences. Really disappointing overall. We expected better. read more

Totally bad service. Note: I called the manager about my experience so they are aware of this. We walked in for table of two plus high chair but the waitress asked if we had a reservation but we didn't. She said unfortunately we don't have any space for you but you can order downstairs. I ordered a pizza to carry out at that point. While waiting downstairs, two ladies came and went upstairs and I overheard a conversation with the hostess that sounded like they said they didn't have any reservations but they let them in easily. I thought I must have misheard it so once I got my pizza, I called the store and asked if I can make a reservation for two for the night and they told me there is no wait I can come in anytime. By this point I felt totally discriminated against and felt a sick feeling. I called the store again and told what happened to me so the manager knows. Stick with pizza. Service was ok, everything except pizza was not good. I wish we sat on main floor and just ordered pizza. I ordered mussels in white wine sauce. The mussels were dry, shriveled up and sat in a wine bath of about maybe a quarter cup which was weird. I didn't eat them. Then we got the octopus which was so inedible I couldn't eat. Here's the problem, we didn't want what they served upstairs, we wanted what they served downstairs, but brought to us upstairs. We didn't realise we were going upstairs to get something different. The food downstairs looked great and that's what we read about online, but upstairs was the fine dining attempt - a bar, covered outdoor area. It was nice but the recipes for pizza downstairs are what we came in for. It's too bad. Maybe next time we'll get the right thing! It was a little expensive upstairs but whatever. read more

Updated 9/26/2024 Don't Go! Ownership has changed. Signature dishes are gone. They had almost nothing on the menu. We almost walked out. Hardly anyone speaks and understands English Victor had to interpret everything for our incompetent waitress. She told us they had no mozzarella. This is also a pizza place. The mussels in white sauce was fair as compared to previous visits. They were out of alll eggplant dishes and listed menu items. Their Signature pasta dish, gone. Save you money. This place is not good. The couple next to us decided to leave after no ability to understand the waitress and new menu was so disappointing. Very sad that what was a wonderful place went downhill so quickly. I'm betting OOB in 60 days. read more

We went with another couple last night. Surprisingly at 6:30 there was hardly anyone in the place (we were the only patrons in upstairs dining room). We ordered one appetizer- calamari. Breading was good, but actual calamari was rubbery. But our biggest complaint was the kitchen timing. My husband's eggplant parm (he said the eggplant actually had little flavor) came out a full 8-10 mins before our friends' pizza (they fully enjoyed). But wait, my individual pizza did not come out for another 10 mins!! No one in the restaurant and three entrees all coming widely spread apart! My husband fully finished his meal before I got mine. We asked about all the delays with our server (she was super sweet and not her fault for the kitchen disorganization). She just kept saying sorry. Said my pizza was coming from the brick oven - which literally takes less than 2 mins to cook! Never did a manager come over to explain. Nor did they offer to take any of the items off the bill - but did bring 4 shots of limoncello. 2 of us didn't care to drink this concession. How does this happen when there's barely anyone in the place?!? And it was obvious we were upset but no one came to explain anything. We all live here and not visiting tourists for the summer. How does a restaurant survive when they can't get one table's service right when no one is in the place?!? read more

She really struggled with English, didn't know the menu & we waited a long time for drinks. Had to go up & remind her! Service wasn't great.. food overpriced for what you get and how it was displayed/served. Caprese salad had that out of package vibe. Not fresh. Employee was hiding in the bathroom for a long time and there are 2 bathrooms one down stairs (steep stairs) and 1 upstairs. We (my 4 year old & I) had to run down steep stairs after obviously standing and waiting for the bathroom while two employees were chit chatting and when I asked if someone was in there they were like yeah idk shes been in there a while... yikes no concern or compassion. Lots of bugs on the "patio" seating. It's more like an indoor with an open door area it was a bit uncomfortable, rocking tables and such.. but it looked tight inside so we stayed outside. When we politely mentioned the bugs the waitress was very sarcastic and defensive immediately and said "well you are sitting outside" like really girl? I didn't know that. Funny part- Owner was walking in as we left and asked how everything was when I said not that great he said nothing and went inside!!! Likely picking up the money from the day and heading home! So my friend and I came here on a Sunday night pretty late and they seated us right away. There was a server that was training and both of them took such good care of us. The drinks I got were sooooooo good and point that we got another round just to explore and both drinks hit the spot. The pizza... oh my god, we got the classic margarita cause my friend was vegetarian. After I had that even though I had a small dinner before, I killed 2 slices. As soon as I went home, I told my fiancé about it and we went back the weekend after and I finally got to try their famous angry Vinny and we were both just eating the damn pizza and not talking that's how good it was. I'm so glad a place like this exists in Myrtle since I just moved down here from Fort Lauderdale. We will be going often and I advise you to look no further and TRY THIS PLACE OUT! read more

Best pizza in Myrtle Beach. Crisp crust with super fresh toppings. Cafe was clean and the staff was awesome.

We ate dinner here last night and enjoyed it. It feels like a little slice of neighborhood-New York. Eat upstairs music throws you back to the 80's disco base . Clientele is international, staff is friendly. Food is fresh and made on site. Salad dressing is traditional Italian and pizzas are light and not greasy with a special sauce. What a pleasant surprise. They had me at the calamari's appetizer. Our three dishes were superb. A linguini (fresh pasta by the way) Alfredo was delicious and made properly. My Eggplant Rolatini appetizer was enough for my dinner. Lightly fried and filled with creamy ricotta and mozzarella, the covered lightly with a very tasty tomato sauce. Then another dish of chicken parm (2 nice thin cutlets) with a creamy risotto was equally good. We went there on a try-out and it worked out great. Service was terrific too. read more
