It was softer than versions I've had elsewhere, but rich in flavor without being overly decadent. Ripley was our server and did a fantastic job taking care of our party of 11. She kept our drinks refilled, checked on us regularly, and promptly cleared plates as we finished. The restaurant offers beautiful views overlooking Marlin Quay Marina, the Main Creek of Murrells Inlet, the surrounding saltwater marshes, and the Atlantic Ocean. We also spent some time on the rooftop, where a pleasant breeze and live music made for a relaxing atmosphere. It's easy to see why this establishment was named a 2025 Best of the Beach winner. Between the scenic views, welcoming ambiance, excellent food, and attentive service, it's well worth a visit. Highly recommended.

Charging $19 for that sandwich was a complete waste of money. When the waiter asked if I wanted dessert, I replied that I don't eat desserts. His response was, "Well, I have to ask," and then he simply walked away. After bringing the check, there was no "thank you for coming" or "hope to see you again." The entire staff acted like they were unhappy to be there, and it showed in every interaction. I will never be back, and I can't recommend this place to anyone.

She was prompt, attentive, and gave extra attention to details like bringing a plastic plate instead of a ceramic one when I asked for an empty plate for our toddler. We had a large party and that didn't diminish the quality of our service. The food was fantastic. The crab cakes say "no filler" on the menu and they mean it. That was exactly how a crab cake should be made and the texture was perfect. Our party had every iteration of oysters you can get and they were all great. They were accommodating for a member of our party with celiac and her food was exactly what she was promised. Other points of note: Bar service was quick and friendly. The hostesses promptly accommodated our party of 10. The straps on the high chair actually worked (if you're a parent then you know what I mean). And my favorite of all: there was no tv to be seen from our table so we were all able to chit chat without distraction from glowing tv screens. This was our first trip, both to Graham's Landing and Pawley's Island. We typically vacation on Georgia beaches but we will 100% be coming back to this beach and more importantly Graham's Landing.

Okay, this is a relatively new place on the south end of all the "run of the mill bars" in Murrells Inlet, SC. It's gotta be new or we'd have been coming here for years. Great atmosphere, Atrium for a Casual experience, Dining Room with that "Dining" feel, A My-Kind-of-Place Bar, as well as an outdoor patio. It's got it all. The food is AMAZING! End of story. If you order it, it will be really good. This night, there was live entertainment and it was... very entertaining. A truly talented couple with a diverse song list that covered memorable songs from every genre at a volume that was perfect. After several weeks my sleep is still troubled. I feel violated and cheated. My party went to Palm 33 in Murrells Inlet for prime rib. It was Wednesday, as advertised, prime rib day. Everyone ordered prime rib, medium rare. Eventually, each of us were served, to my horror, left over, reheated meat. The nauseous brown outside mimicked the inside which was void of even a single drop of natural juice. Evidence of the restaurant heat lamp. Almost $300 for a ruined birthday. I will never go to Palm 33 restaurant again. I will give my opinion of Palm 33 to anyone who will listen. In my judgment, you deserve to fail if you're making a conscious effort to serve substandard food. Shame on you. read more

They still confirmed our arrival on their list and after waiting for a few minutes, they sat us at our table earlier than the opening time and started service. Out of the many places I have been to, it is the first time I see servers all come out at once with a demeanor of "it is go time". No hesitation, not dragging their arms... it looked like they had been waiting for this moment and it could not come soon enough... they were eager to serve us. I had my youngest child who is very inquisitive and the server had no issues answering questions and making concessions. What the server described about the things we were ordering was on-point. We knew exactly what we were getting and, quite honestly, the food and beverages were even better than described even when she was very detailed. I noticed a gentleman who was prepping our plates and believe me when I say, this fella was making sure everything was perfect. We could see the body language and the focus when setting everything on the plate. He wanted nothing out of place. That said, the food was nothing short from incredible. I had a New York strip steak which is probably my favorite cut. The seasoning, the cook and the tenderness was so great that I believe this might have been the best steak I have had and I have had many from the east coast all the way to the west and from north to south. The server came around the perfect amount of times to refill, ask if everything was okay or to take plates away. We were never left unattended at the point we felt we were the only ones there although the place was getting busy very quick. Food came out very prompt, but the quality never suffered. The manager came to us, introduced herself and said "if you need anything, do not hesitate to call me over". Once we were done enjoying our meals, my server asked me for my ballet parking ticket. She said to not worry about rushing but that she would keep an eye out for us and would make sure our car was ready by the time we needed to leave. When we closed our tab and started to leave our table, I could see her rush to the ballet and come back. By the time we walked to the door, my car was right there waiting for me. Plain and simple, I know it is fine dine. But I have experienced places that when you come with children they may not take you as serious or put you wherever you wouldn't bother anyone and even put you in the back burner. Here? If this is not excellent service, with staff that cares and high quality food, I don't know what is. This place has high standards and it shows. So, I will confidently say, you don't have to try this place... you NEED to try this place. I have never been as confident about recommending a place as I am about New York Prime. This is a well oiled machine that will not let anyone down. Great job to everyone who was serving guests on August 20, 2026 at 5pm. You guys rocked it! Customer experience 101 at the best of its versions!

UPTWN Prime--whether you spell it that way or simply call it Uptown Prime--is one of Myrtle Beach's newest upscale steakhouses. The restaurant specializes in 21+ day dry-aged USDA Prime beef, fresh seafood, and an impressive selection of bone-in cuts. The elegant dining room, live music, and expertly crafted cocktails create a polished yet welcoming atmosphere. We started the evening with a beautifully presented sushi appetizer, which strong way to begin a meal at a steakhouse. It set the tone for what would be an excellent dining experience. The meal continued with the house-made bread. It was so good that we asked for a second loaf. There were three of us, including our youngest dining companion--affectionately known as "Little Man," "Small Fry," or "Half Pint." He's an exceptionally picky eater, which can make restaurant outings a challenge. The staff couldn't have handled it better. After checking with the chef, they created an off-menu veal burger on a freshly baked house-made bun. Little Man devoured it faster than I could finish my excellent gin martini, which says everything you need to know. For our entrées, I ordered the Delmonico ribeye while my friend chose the filet mignon. My ribeye was beautifully cooked, flavorful, and paired wonderfully with the rich wine demi-glace, which was outstanding. My only disappointment was discovering that the steak was wet-aged rather than dry-aged. While still delicious, it lacked the concentrated, nutty depth of flavor that I personally look for in a premium steakhouse. The restaurant also offers a well-curated wine list. I enjoyed a glass of Cabernet Sauvignon that complemented the steak perfectly. What truly sets Uptown Prime apart, however, is the service. The willingness of the staff and chef to accommodate a picky child with an off-menu entrée demonstrated a level of hospitality that's increasingly rare. Combined with excellent sushi, outstanding cocktails, quality food, and an inviting atmosphere, Uptown Prime is a welcome addition to Myrtle Beach's dining scene. I'll happily return--next time I'll be ordering one of their dry-aged steaks.
