It had been on my radar for a while because I was craving fried pork belly, and I'm glad I stopped. I ordered the fried pork belly to go, and it was outstanding. The fat was beautifully rendered into a silky, melt-in-your-mouth layer, while the edges were perfectly crisp from the fry. It struck that ideal balance between rich, tender, and crunchy. It comes with plantain fries, which were a nice touch. I only sampled one since I'm currently following a keto/low-carb diet, but they were tasty. The biggest surprise, though, was the restaurant itself. The exterior doesn't prepare you for what's waiting inside. As soon as you walk through the door, you're transported into a gorgeous, open dining room. It's hard to believe you're standing inside one of Myrtle Beach's historic buildings. The space is stunning, with a beautiful bar, eye-catching décor behind and around it, and even a large decorative tree in the middle of the dining room that really adds to the atmosphere. They did a fantastic job with the design. If you're in downtown Myrtle Beach and looking for somewhere different to eat, especially if you appreciate well-executed pork dishes, I highly recommend giving Boteco VIP a try. If you're looking for a Brazilian restaurant that gives you a little taste of Brazilian culture, this is a great spot. The restaurant is in a really nice location with a beautiful view of the oceanfront. My wife and I got coxinhas as an appetizer and feijoada for our main dish. The coxinhas were fantastic and probably my favorite part of the meal. The feijoada was good too, although you could tell it wasn't made very recently. I highly recommend the Green Paradise, a caipirinha with mango that is not too sweet. Lovely spot perfect for a date or small group of friends to have dinner and drinks. Went on a Saturday night and there was a live band playing Jazz. A wonderful setting, the place was lovely. The only thing we didn't like were the Pastel's - they tasted old... like they were cooked in the morning and left laying around all day. Came to the table cold...weird. I prefer to eat pastel's freshly fried, and hot. This was not the case, unfortunately. Other than that the Garlic shrimp, Yucca fries and Coxinha were pretty good. Never had corn in a coxinha before but I liked it. I would return and try the Tropical Shrimp and Shrimp Moqueca. Hopefully they make better pastel's next time. The worst customer service in the world! I paid for a large order with delivery and never received it. The manager did nothing to resolve the situation! He simply suggested I order again and wait another hour for the delivery--meaning I'd pay twice, wait twice as long, and only get one meal. We stopped in before heading to see the Christmas lights on the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk, and it was a perfect start to the evening. Boteco VIP is warm, inviting, and comfortable, with décor that feels intentional without being overdone. The holiday details were especially well done--the Christmas window display and the artificial tree in the center of the restaurant that reaches the ceiling added a festive touch without overwhelming the space. The menu is diverse and accommodating, which made it easy for our family. My vegetarian wife had good options, my son was happy with his cheeseburger, and everyone enjoyed their meal. cute little place, not a lot of space. the food was just okay nothing spectacular probably wont come here again. we got the shareable boteco mix which is chicken, sirloin, pork, and smoke sausage. the steak was ALL fat, every bite you took was fat. we had maybe 2 good pieces but that was it. it was also very overcooked. the chicken was very tough as well. Definitely not worth $50. like I said the place is nice and all but the food just isn't hitting. they have happy hour but only at the bar. read more

This is an unassuming spot just a block away from the boardwalk and craziness of Myrtle Beach. It is next to Grand Strand brewing, which we frequent. When we saw a vegan option on the menu, we made it a destination. It was clear when we walked in that this was going to be a good experience, based on the diversity of diners eating there. The servers were lovely and helpful, and there was even live music the Sunday evening we were there! Beer came with frosty mugs. As a vegetarian, I never expected to find a Brazilian restaurant that could accommodate me for a meal. I loved everything I ate! The carnivore said his steak dish was great, his only complaint was cold french fries. If the french fries had been fresh, we would give five stars! My wife and I travel the Low Country together and we are always looking for new places to eat. I came in with no expectations and what I received was Outstanding!!! From the lighting to the decor it was very energetic. Our waitress had 1 table when we walked in and by the time we left she had 6. She did not miss a beat with us, she was wonderful!! The dipping sauce for the cheese balls was a mix between chimichurri and mayo. Fresh and nice. Our entrees: Chicken Parmigiana, Braziliernho, Gaucho Burger and Fiejado. Rice was cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Hubs had the grilled steak with his Brazilerihno. It was on the smaller side but for him it was enough. It came with salad, fries and rice and pinto beans.ALOT of food. He also had a capirihna and it had plenty of cachaca. Plenty. Kids enjoyed theirs too. The Parm came with rice and my daughter didn't mind at all. Ate everything. Great little place away from the hustle bustle. An easy walk from our stay at the Hilton Ocean Enclave. Service is absolutely wonderful and friendly. Let me say I am partial to Brazilian food. This did not disappoint. We had the trio pastel appetizer. I've tried a lot of Brazilian food but had never had pastels the see all equally delicious. My husband and I shared the paella for 3. It was enough for five people. 100% Spanish flavors. Espresso was really good and the brownie to die for. If you want to try Brazilian food or just want a wonderful dinning experience I recommend you give this place a try. The waitress was awesome, very attentive she explained everything on the menu. When food came out our appetizer and our main course. Everything was totally delicious. We have never eaten in this type of Brazilian restaurant before.. I would totally recommend this place. We did not drink any alcohol so I cannot speak for the bar drinks, but we did drink the juices and they were yummy. There is an area for children to play. We were there a little earlier in the evening. We went back later in the evening and noticed that all that had been put away. This was truly a great dining experience. The location is not far from the beach so we walked on the beach afterwards and went to the boardwalk. I would highly recommend this restaurant. The wife was looking for a good martini. This restaurant came up in my search so we gave it a try. Their drinks were amazing!! So amazing that we stayed there for 4 hours. The wife had an expresso martini, mojito and I had a Long Island ice tea. The atmosphere was very nice (classy). The service was also amazing. They treated us as if we were locals. Men's bathroom was nicely clean. Flan tasted good but way too sweet to my taste and not that big of a slice. Best part for me was the service from waitress ALE XANDRA: very friendly and welcoming. When she saw I cut off the fat from my top sirloin she offered to bring it back to the kitchen and refry it till it was "burnt" to my taste.
