I found this place after I said, "I want mimosas." When I searched, "Mimosas," it popped up! Our party of 4 had a short wait because we didn't have reservations on a Saturday at noon. We were seated pretty quickly, though; less than 30 minutes. Food portions were plentiful and the flavors were okay. I also had a mimosa flight. The seasonal flight was just okay, but I do wonder how the regularly mimosas are, but I didn't try them. I would visit again and try more food and the regular mimosa offerings. If you're hoping to have mimosa options with brunch, this is definitely the place. Two stars off for the so so food. It's give it 4 stars if the mimosas were better. read more

I arrived around 8:00 and they were already getting busy! The waitress was on her own for a bit and in the weeds but other staff started arriving. I started with the beignets. They were ok, not nearly as good as New Orleans. I'd say a 3.5 out of 5. They were hot but too thick/doughy. I ordered the lobster omelette and was really disappointed in the complete lack of lobster. I swear there was no more than one small pincher of meat - you know, the little legs that next to the claws. That was the only lobster I encountered in my omelette. However, there was plenty of shrimp, I was just expecting a couple chunks of lobster meat. No such luck. I had one of the specialty cocktails and that was well mixed. Overall, they give big portions but it doesn't make up for expectations vs what is delivered. I'd pass. read more

We have been to Mimosas several times for both breakfast and lunch, usually on weekends. Their menu offers a wide variety of tasty options with truly something for everyone! (Vegetarians included!) This particular visit we arrived at 8:00 am on a WEEKDAY to eat breakfast. There was ZERO waiting for a table and our service was fabulous! The restaurant has always appeared cheerfully decorated and clean. This was our first time trying Mimosa flight and we opted for their Seasonal Offering vs Traditional Mimosa flight. Never again! No wonder there was no wait for Sunday Brunch at the peak of tourist season. We sat at the bar and I ordered a burger and dressed greens. Hubby had pancakes and bacon and we both had bubbly. Three bartenders and a bar back were scrambling but all three bartenders disappeared for about 15minutes at the same time. This was after I ordered but had not received a refill of bubbly. By the time they came back, they were slammed with orders and I had to wait another ten minutes before my refill was served. The dressed greens were disgusting looking and the blue cheese dressing was separated and looked like it had set out in heat too long...I didn't touch them and no one bothered to ask me why. They cleared all pf our plates except that one as I believe they were embarrassed. There were two huge white stems with some unidentifiable wilted leaves on top-gross! read more

The waffles were crispy like crackers and had to be sent back. The plate of pancakes had a long hair in the bottom and that also had to be sent back. Four out of six meals had to be sent back and have items redone while the rest of the food sat getting cold. This place is packed! I highly recommend that you get a reservation if you plan to eat here. We waited 38 minutes for a party of 2 at 10:30am on a Sunday. The service was great. Everyone was quick, efficient, and helpful given how busy they get. It was impressive. Ambiance was nice and fun! They play great music. Everyone there is upbeat and happy. Place was relatively clean, except for the flies. The place was filled was flies. Food was pretty good. There are things i would and wouldn't get again. I got the columbian roast coffee. It didn't taste very good. A fly ended up landing in it, and i had them take it. They do have flavored coffee creamer cups on the table. The plain waffle was very good! It was nice and fluffy. The bacon was not very good. It was thin and had an odd taste to it. It kind of reminded me of instant microwave bacon. The white toast was so good that the flies enjoyed my left overs! Home fries were amazing and well seasoned. They were my favorite. They are deep fried. Eggs were subpar. The new Orleans style shrimp and grits was good and had a bit of a kick to it. Best brunch we've had in a while. We arrived a little before 10am on a Saturday and were seated right away. We were greeted promptly and our waitress was very friendly. We ordered the strawberry mule and strawberry pineapple mimosa first and they were both delicious! We had the blueberry pancakes (with bacon and sausage) and the chorizo scramble. The scramble was a bit dry, so I asked for salsa and sour cream which was exactly what it needed! We will definitely be back to visit Mimosas on future trips! read more

Very busy on Easter Saturday but just 15 minute wait for a table and server delivered coffee very quick,y once we were seated. The wait for food was pretty long (25/30 minutes) but our waitress checked in a few times and when breakfast arrived it was very good. My wife had a basic eggs and sausage whereas I had a skillet loaded with chorizo, potatoes and peppers with three eggs in top; a lot if really tasty food! I would not hesitate to recommend Mimosas even with a bit of a wait as the friendly staff make a real effort to provide good service and the kitchen delivers good food! read more

We went at 8:30am and sat right down. Our waitress was training a person which was completely fine. Sadly the service just was not great at all. They only stopped back once after we were done eating and they didn't clear any empty plates. When we paid, they did not seem friendly like other restaurants have been. The food was just ok. We waited roughly 35 minutes to get our food which was fine but was also longer than all other breakfast places. For the price, it just wasn't worth it for us. But maybe others would have a better experience. The place was however very clean. The food here is worth the hype! The service however varies depending on the day and time that you go. My first time here was a mid morning weekday meal and the service and food were amazing. My recent visit back was on a Saturday and we expected a wait going on at 10am. We were added to the list and advised a 20 minute wait which in reality was 36 minutes but I was still thankful to be seated. The shrimp and grits New Orleans style are so creamy and delicious! The eggs Benedict's are also a solid option. The chicken biscuit was tasty but dry. The cappuccino and mimosas were liked by all. The service on this last visit was very slow but I could see our waitress busy with large tables around us. I'd definitely return here on a weekday! read more

Every single time my fiancé and I visit Mimosas, it is an absolute MUST on our list! We literally refuse to come to the beach without eating here at least once! Not only are the drinks and food AMAZING, but the atmosphere is so fun, friendly, and vibey. It's one of those places where you instantly feel the good energy the second you walk in. We love that we can order something different every time because the menu is just THAT GOOD! Today we went around lunchtime, which meant we had the best of both worlds - breakfast and lunch options! I chose lunch and ordered the Pimento Chicken Sandwich with their homemade, perfectly seasoned French fries and LET ME TELL YOU...it was hands down the best chicken sandwich I have ever had in my life. The flavor, the pimento cheese, THE BACON JAM - Unreal!! My fiancé was jealous of mine - until he took a bite of his! My fiancé went the breakfast route and ordered the Lobster Me! Omelette. Of course, I had to steal a bite, and WOW!! It was easily the best seafood omelette you could ever imagine! So fresh, so flavorful, and cooked perfectly! He also had the grits and croissant as his sides and those were BOMB! And we cannot say enough about our sweet server, Skylar! She was phenomenal! So polite, professional, knowledgeable about the menu, and genuinely kind! You can tell she loves what she does! Also, a huge shoutout to the rest of the team as well for helping her get our drinks out quickly so we could enjoy our seasonal flight and those iconic breakfast shots before diving into our meals. (Pro tip: the breakfast shots are a MUST. The orange juice is fresh-squeezed in-house and paired with the best tasting bacon topper!) I'm honestly mad at myself for not taking pictures of the incredible drinks and absolutely DELICIOUS food because everything was presentation-worthy!
