I was staying at a nearby beach hotel and was looking for a breakfast spot for today. I saw this place online and noted that it was only a two mile drive from my hotel. I am so glad I found it because everything about it was fabulous. The honey bee decor was adorable. Service was friendly and quick from my server, Paul. The menu offered both breakfast and lunch items. I went with the vegetable omelette and added cheese to it for an extra dollar. My sides included hash browns and a biscuit. Everything tasted great. I would definitely return here on a future stay in Myrtle Beach.

We had quick seating for 2 on a Saturday morning, around 9:30a. Our server, Tiffany B, was attentive, cheerful and professional. The coffee was great. If you drink black coffee, this is smooth and a perfect cup. I had the Belgian waffle with traditional bacon (as opposed to crispy), and home fries. The waffle wasn't spectacular-was a bit mushy/batter-y, not light and fluffy like I expected. It was doable. Bacon was perfectly meaty and not too crispy, and the home fries were basic. Enriching was fresh and hot and came out quickly. My husband enjoyed his Ireland skillet, enjoying the corned beef and how everything came together. Did I mention that the coffee was amazing? Did I say that Tiffany was attentive? This was a great breakfast experience! I'd definitely come back on every Myrtle Beach visit!

This place was definitely super mom and pop. We definitely could tell that this was the tourist Hotspot when we walked in. We had a little bit of a wait so that was an instant good sign. When were were greeted we were instantly met with a warm welcome and cold waters. I always judge places on how well they do there Chicken and Waffles and this place definitely passed. The waffle was fluffy and the chicken was well cooked. I would double back here if I had more of an extended stay but I have to move on and spread the YELP gospel elsewhere. But if you're town and are a foodie definitely give this place a go.

A friend referred us to this spot. We went for brunch. Upon entering, we were promptly seated in a booth. The restaurant is brightly decorated. Our server was attentive throughout our time there. The food came out quickly and was exactly as ordered. Everything tasted very good. The fresh-squeezed orange juice was delicious as well. I would definitely put this on my list of places to return to when I'm back in the area. Bonus- they have their own private parking lot.

Western omelette, home fries and wheat toast on first plate and vegetable omelette, grits rye toast. All delicious! Grits outstanding!

We dined at Honey Bee 3 times in four days while visiting Myrtle Beach. Brad was our server and was incredible. The food was amazing. I would highly recommend. Taylor and Louanne N. Greenville, SC

Super cute little cafe! Super friendly service and food was ready quick! My husband and I got the crab cake Benedict and split it. Was plenty for us.

The ambiance was great and the place was very clean. Their appliances were cute too! Very bee themed. Loved it! However, they were out a hostess that day and were scrambling about. They were apologetic though. I recommend the salad with the goat cheese, sweet potatoes, and blueberries!

The food at Honey Bees did not disappoint. I had the veggie omelet and French toast and my husband had pancakes and a two egg breakfast. Everything was absolutely delicious. The coffee also was bold without being too overpowering. Service was impeccable and the 80s music added to the ambience.

Overall a good experience! Food: 4/5, there was a slight hiccup with one of the burgers my party ordered, came out a little too rare. Otherwise it's brunch food, nothing over the top just good food! I loved my french toast and the Benedict dishes were all good from what my family said. Service: 5/5 our server was very nice and attentive. With the burger hiccup, the server took the dish back and was kind enough to take some money off our bill as an apology, without us asking for anything besides the burger being redone. Ambiance: 5/5 you can hear everyone just fine in the restaurant and ample space between tables. Not too busy though, probably 5 other tables when we were there.

Excellent and friendly service. Their ment covered a wide variety of dishes, enough to cover about every taste. Tiffany B. was very friendly and and attentive. Our plates came out quickly and hot. Monte Cristo, Breakfast BLT, Smoked Salmon Omelet. All were delicious. Definitely will come back again!

Honey Bees was a cute place! I love the signature bowls, plates, such a cute touch! Our fantastic waitress Tiffany K took great care of us. She was very attentive and sweet! The food was delicious. I especially enjoyed the Crabcake Benedict! It was fresh and tasty. The pancakes were sooo fluffy also! The cappuccino was strong and tasty, just how I like it! When I visit Myrtle Beach again, I hope to return and have Tiffany as a waitress again!

AMAZING!!!!! Food was amazing!! Fun atmosphere!! Great service!!!!! Super cute plates and cups! Fast service!!

Unfortunately, this dinner just added to our frustration. We had a 6:15 reservation and waited quite a while before a server arrived. When she did, she was very kind and took our drink and appetizer orders. But everything moved so slowly -- drinks and app took ages, and we placed our dinner order not long after. By 7:30, we still had no food. The server kept apologizing (she really was kind and doing her best), but it was clear something was off in the kitchen or with management. Eventually someone else came over, offered 20% off, and said our meals were "plating now" -- but that wasn't true, because we waited another 20 minutes. We were ready to cancel, and when the food finally came, I honestly couldn't enjoy it at that point. My chicken sandwich was nothing special (definitely not worth the wait), and my mom's scallops were salty and just bad. While our server was lovely, the overall experience with management and the kitchen was disappointing. Won't be back.

When we went to look at the special drink sign a bug crawled out of it and onto the table. The waitress didn't do anything about that. We ordered and waited for our food. The blueberry gin and tonic was good. We ordered bbq chicken tacos, mahi tacos, grilled mahi mahi and a scallop salad. The food was okay. Our server seemed like she didn't really want to be there. I feel like the prices were reasonable but I wouldn't go again.

We had a reservation for 6:45 pm and arrived a little after 6:30. Almost everyone in the group went to the bar to wait and was told someone would come for them when the table was ready. I stopped in another store on the way in to the restaurant, so I was a few minutes behind. When I came in, I told the hostess that I'm meeting the rest of my party who is potentially already seated, if she could direct me to where. I gave her the name it was under, and she said they weren't checked in yet. I thought it was strange, but it was almost 6:45 and thought we should still be fine. I texted them to let them know what I was told-they DID check in, so I told the hostess I would wait until the table was ready with her so I could let the rest of my party know. I waited until 7:00 and asked her if we were still waiting for a table or if they were waiting for the rest of my party to come out front and she said she would go check. She came back and said that there still wasn't a table ready and we'd have to wait about 15 more minutes. I joined the rest of my group and went back up front since no one came to get us and asked again. We are now approaching an hour past our reservation and she had seated several other big groups one of which specifically told me they did not have a reservation. I got a little frustrated and let it be known and we were finally seated right about 7:45. If it wasn't for the fact that we had two small children with us that were losing their mind, I would've been fine, even if I was annoyed. When we were finally seated, we were fortunately greeted with a wonderful server, Abby A. I was not overly thrilled with the choices of food on the menu, but we had 6 adults and everyone found something and they were all famished, so I couldn't get many pictures. We ordered the street corn dip (delicious), crab hushpuppies (probably would have been really good had they not been so overcooked/on the verge of burnt) and island fries (I didn't try because 2 of the adults were tearing from the peppers) As for entrees, I settled for the steak skewers, which were well cooked, and tasted OK. I opted to get asparagus instead of the broccolini, but it was WAY overcooked, flavorless, and soggy. I wish I thought to ask for some other than fries because the 2 I tried weren't worth eating. Others ordered chicken peanut mango salad (good), Hawaiian Kalua pork (enjoyed), Capera Island salmon (done well), low country pasta added shrimp (shrimp was cooked nicely), and hamburger kids meal...thinner that McDonald's! She didn't even want to eat the burger "slice". The food was decent, but not nearly good enough for me to ever go back after waiting over an hour our time for a reservation that was made over a week ago without any apologies or even checking in on us. If I hadn't kept checking back, I don't think we would've been seated for a while. I could've spent about $400 somewhere else and had better food and treated with more respect while waiting for our LATE reservation.

The parking lot is usually full, which always felt like a good sign. Well... after years of saying "maybe next time," we finally stopped in -- and we're glad we did. We were in town for a few days doing some work at our place and decided to try something new for dinner. I checked Yelp beforehand to see if they had a happy hour menu, and they did -- and it looked good. We arrived around 5:00 pm. There were only a few cars in the lot at that time, and the building (which used to be a Pizza Hut) is easy to spot. When we walked in, we were told to sit wherever we liked, so we headed straight to the bar. The bartender greeted us right away, gave us menus and waters, and made us feel welcome. Since it was our first visit, we had a lot of questions about the menu. The food seemed like a fusion of Asian and Korean flavors, and we weren't very familiar with it. She was fantastic patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She even mentioned their Date Night special, which turned out to be a great deal. She made my wife an iced tea that was different than the usual but very good, and I had an Old Fashioned that was excellent. We decided on the Date Night Special, which is a prix fixe menu for two for $45. It includes one starter to share, a selection of small plates, each person choosing their own main from a list of six (two with a small upcharge), and a dessert to share. For our starter, we chose the Scallion Pancakes. They aren't really pancakes in the traditional sense -- more like a thinner batter that's deep-fried and served with two sauces. Both sauces were excellent, and the appetizer was a great way to start the meal. For our mains, my wife ordered the Bibimbap with chicken, and I had the Korean Fried Chicken (+$3). When they set the plates down in front of us, I looked at my wife and said, this looks really good -- why haven't we stopped here before? Her dish came in a shallow bowl with cucumbers in a sauce, thinly shaved carrots, kimchi, rice topped with an egg, and a piece of fried chicken with sauce. Mine came with coleslaw, fresh-cut French fries, and two chicken breasts covered in the same flavorful sauce. The chicken on both dishes was the same, and that sauce was outstanding. My first bite was literally, "Why have we passed this place so many times?" My wife loved everything on her plate, and I enjoyed every bite of mine as well. Our dessert, the Apple Crumble, came out before we were completely finished with our meals. This was really the only thing that could have been handled a little differently. Even though we didn't eat it right away, it was still good we just felt a bit rushed trying to finish our food so the dessert wouldn't get cold and the ice cream wouldn't melt. Overall, we found a new top-5 restaurant to eat at when we're in town. To top it all off, while sitting at the bar we were talking with a waiter named Logan. He asked where we were from and mentioned he had family there. It turned out he's a cousin of a friend who grew up with our son and was actually in our son's wedding. Just a few weeks earlier, they were all in Myrtle Beach for a bachelor party for his cousin. Small world! Don't be like us driving past for years and saying "maybe next time." Just stop in and give it a try. The food is wonderful, the service was great, and we will definitely be back.
