OMG THIS PLACE IS AMAZING! The food was absolutely delicious the drinks were perfect the prices are affordable for Myrtle Beach! I highly recommend the mimosa flights! I ordered the monte Cristo and my husband had some "skillet" can't remember the name and it was all so good! Show up early or you'll be waiting they do get busy! The setup is so darn cute I wish I would have gotten pictures of the actual restaurant. First time and not impressed. People left high reviews but I don't know why. I had the healthy omelette and it was ok. My turkey sausage was overcooked, there was some kind of gooey meat on my fruit bowl that I sent back, got toast figured that was safer. My hubby had the southern breakfast and he said the biscuits and sausage were tasteless. The Bloody Marys were ok. But this two-person breakfast with tip was $103!!!! Phenomenal customer service from the time you walk through the door until the time you leave. Extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing. The honeybee hive decor is beautiful. Food 1000/10! The Food was fresh. I had the Irish skillet minus green peppers. The corned beef hash was made from fresh corned beef not can and was cooked to perfection. My Husband had the southern breakfast with grits and bacon which he really enjoyed. The staff was kind and courteous. The wait for food did not take long at all considering today is mothers day. I found this place just browsing on Yelp and immediately felt like I needed to come here just so I can adore the cute glassware in person. We came here Friday at 10:30am without a reservation and it was PACKED The hostess told us it would be a 25 minute wait so I put my name down- we only waited about 15 mins before we sat! This place was just as cute in person as it was in the pictures. Started off with a cappuccino and a fresh squeeze orange juice and took some adorable pictures while waiting for the food. I ordered the Salmon Benedict and also a waffle on the side. The Salmon Benedict was ok- the did not skimp on the salmon which was great but I found the eggs to be a little over cooked and the English muffin could have easily been toasted more along with a little more cream cheese added. My husband also got a Benedict and he says his came out great. The grits that it came with though were THE BOMB- I have been to a lot of breakfast places around here and they definitely mastered it. Another Home-run was the Waffle- easily one of the best I have had in a LONG time- I have been craving another one ever since I left. We went here for breakfast on a Friday around 2 o'clock. They close at 3 o'clock. They weren't busy. They have a small parking lot. We were seated right away and the staff were friendly. The place was nice and clean and service was fast. I ordered a mocktail and fresh squeezed OJ. I had the crab Benedict which was good and my fiancé had the Hungary man breakfast with scrambled eggs pancakes which were a good size and sausage links with home fries. We had quick seating for 2 on a Saturday morning, around 9:30a. Our server, Tiffany B, was attentive, cheerful and professional. The coffee was great. If you drink black coffee, this is smooth and a perfect cup. I had the Belgian waffle with traditional bacon (as opposed to crispy), and home fries. The waffle wasn't spectacular-was a bit mushy/batter-y, not light and fluffy like I expected. It was doable. Bacon was perfectly meaty and not too crispy, and the home fries were basic. This place was definitely super mom and pop. We definitely could tell that this was the tourist Hotspot when we walked in. We had a little bit of a wait so that was an instant good sign. When were were greeted we were instantly met with a warm welcome and cold waters. I always judge places on how well they do there Chicken and Waffles and this place definitely passed. Our daughter was a little cranky coming in and the staff offered her a little sauce cup of blueberries and strawberries along with a sticker to "help her feel better". I thought that was just so genuine and sweet. The place is DECKED OUT in bees and is so cute! The tables, notice them, are gorgeously made. I ordered a Paloma Mimosa--if you're a grapefruit fan, I highly recommend it. My husband and I also got their coffee (another excellent choice). We then got their "hungry man" (husband) and I got their classic. Both were super good. Overall a good experience! Food: 4/5, there was a slight hiccup with one of the burgers my party ordered, came out a little too rare. Otherwise it's brunch food, nothing over the top just good food! I loved my french toast and the Benedict dishes were all good from what my family said. Service: 5/5 our server was very nice and attentive. With the burger hiccup, the server took the dish back and was kind enough to take some money off our bill as an apology, without us asking for anything besides the burger being redone. I came here with my family because I had seen a video about it online and it was about walking distance from our hotel. My family and I absolutely loved it! We have went to first watch and honestly Honey bees is soooooo much better than them and I wish they had a restaurant in Virginia. It was so good we came two mornings in a row. The restaurant is unique, as it has many decorations to make you feel like you are in a honeycomb, or beehive! Everything is clean, but can get busy. Prepare to wait on a Saturday or Sunday morning. Even their mugs are honeycomb themed! They put a lot of detail into decorations. I had a waffle with scrambled eggs and home fries. The waffles are like dessert! Whatever topping you get, they give you a lot of it! I just got some chocolate chips on mine, and the whole waffle was covered in chocolate! You can even get ice cream on your waffle! The scrambled eggs are soft scrambled and a little runny (that's how we like it), and home fries are great also!! They have a bar at Honey Bees. They have plenty of non-alcoholic drinks (10-15 options), as well as a wide array of alcoholic drinks. The restrooms are clean, just like the rest of the restaurant! Our server was personable and kind, but was inexperienced because he didn't know that some things we mentioned were on the menu, and had a hard time navigating the device they use to handle orders. The wait time went by really fast and the place is BEAUTIFUL inside. Things went downhill after that. Our waitress had a little bit of Latina attitude but not enough to make a big deal about. My problem was the food was barely edible. I can count on 1 hand how many times Ive sent food back to the kitchen and it seems like none of us really enjoyed our meal.
