When traveling I always try to find a place with Gluten Free Eggs Benedict. I am so glad that I tried Seasons. First of all, it is the cutest cafe/restaurant. It has two stories, so the size of the downstairs will fool you into thinking it's really small but it isn't. The chairs are esthetic are relaxing and beachy. A great place for brunch with the girls. They have an amazing looking cocktail menu that I would love to return to try. Also, you seating my 4 yr old and me, they brought out Wikisticks for my son instead of crayons. The wickisticks were a huge hit and kept him entertained the entire time we were waiting for our food. For such a cute place, it was very kid friendly. They were able to make eggs Benedict on a gluten free biscuit. It was my birthday and it was exactly what I was craving. It exceeded my expectations and the biscuit really added to the flavor. The hollandaise, the Canadian bacon, the poached eggs, and the greens were all perfectly complimentary to each other. I couldn't believe how much I enjoyed the greens. The ambiance was beautiful on the inside however we sat outside as it was a beautiful warm day. The food was great! I had the avocado toast with a side of bacon and eggs. We've only been in town 2 days and we've eaten here both days. The food is amazing and service is stellar. First visit we had the shrimp and grits which is the best we've EVER had. So tasty! We also had the garden omelette with fresh fruit which was also really good. 2nd visit we had the chimichurri steak salad and the chicken pesto panini. Both very flavorful and delicious! We started our meal downstairs, but after chatting with one of the managers, we were graciously allowed to head upstairs for a bit to get some work done before hitting the road. That gesture alone spoke volumes about the kind of service this place values: friendly, flexible, and genuinely thoughtful. To eat, we ordered the dulce de leche French toast, biscuits and gravy, a side of bacon, and a side of grits. The iced latte was delicious but the pistachio latte had zero flavor. We had to ask for water and it was barely refilled but again we could see our waiter busy with other tables. The biscuits and maple gravy were plentiful and scrumptious. The bacon was good and the grits were seasoned well and served piping hot! We really enjoyed the French toast as it was such a treat with the fresh peaches and indulgent caramel sauce. I usually don't order dessert breakfasts as I prefer savory but my daughter convinced me and I'm so glad she did. I would definitely order that again! The juice is in fact fresh squeezed, and was very good. Does have pulp but not a ton. Coffee is okay, but I would go with the juice personally. Prices are not the cheapest, think upscale brunch pricing. Keeping that in mind, the food quality made the prices worth it to me. The portion sizes were good, and everything was cooked perfectly. The French toast, waffle, and biscuit were soft and fluffy and buttery, the grits were soft and creamy, and the potatoes were well seasoned (with a little spice to them). This is a really nice place where the food just doesn't rise to the level of the ambiance nor the service. We had the Firecracker Waffle (think chicken and waffles) and the Taylor Made Benny (think eggs Benedict, but with a southern biscuit). The Firecracker Waffle had a pepper jelly (or jam) that was very tasty, but it literally thickly covered the piece of chicken that was on the waffle and it was WAY TOO MUCH and ruined the whole thing. Then, the Taylor Made Benny just wasn't a good dish and it took me some time figure out it was that ruined that dish. Ultimately, I think it was the ham; it was very salty and tasted of cheap meat besides. And the hollandaise sauce had very little flavor to me. The service and the place were great. And I'm sure there are some dishes on the menu that are better, but our 2 were very disappointing. Again, the service was great with a VERY nice group of people serving and checking on each customer.
