    Happy hour loaded tots

Really solid happy hour and a fun divey atmosphere. There's a decent amount of parking out front as well which is nice. Drinks are strong, food is flavorful and the patrons are friendly. I'd go back for sure.

Always a good time!! We had an amazing time playing darts and meeting new people. Drinks are not too expensive and surprisingly the food is amazing!!! I'll go back for the wings!!

Nice place to grab.a drink watch a fight / game . Service was good considering busy had a small wait at times but again it was busy so understandable. Nachos were good no shortage of toppings which was great.

On our annual guys trip we decided to meet up here for lunch before checking into the hotel. It ended up being the perfect spot with lots of TVs, solid bar food, and friendly bartenders. I had the meatball ricotta pizza which was good but a little undercooked. We heated up leftovers in the oven the next day and it was even better either a little crunch. This will probably be our new go-to spot for lunch on this yearly trip.

This place is such a gem, so we went everyday during our stay in Myrtle Beach. The bartenders are so on top of everything, providing great service. Tried the pizza, wings, BLT and sliders and would highly recommend anything on the menu. Lots of TVs with all sports!

My friend picked this place, not sure what he heard about it that was so great because it wasn't and by the time we were done he was pretty mad. It was not busy at all but we had super lousy and lazy service. Waitress flirted with my buddy each time she came to the table but couldn't do her basic job...I guess that flirting probably gets her good tips. We had to ask for drinks four times before they brought them out. We got our food before we got our drinks. I got the sliders. They sound better than they tasted. The bread was grocery store quality bread...same thing you'd get at Walmart. The Sloppy Joe tastes just like it would if you made it at home. The London Broil and the French dip was the exact same meat except the French dip came with cheese on it and au jus on the side. The cheese pizza wasn't bad and it has those tiny pepperonis on it like a Tony's pizza from the freezer aisle. Bathroom is behind a paywall, code is 4321 for the mens room, probably same for the ladies. They do list their beers on Untappd which I think is just about the only positive thing I could say about my visit. When we asked our waiter for our checks, she told us to go get them from the bartender. I would not come back.

Great happy hour specials that runs from 4pm-7pm. It was quite surprising the very few people that were there when we were dining. Love the setup with a plethora of TVs and a sports ticker above the bar. The pizza is hand tossed and the exact same size as their reg. Pies ($8). Bang bang shrimp were great. Loaded tots were tasty. Garlic parm and sweet chili flavored wings were crispy and cooked to perfection. Mozzarella cheese sticks were made from scratch and excellent with the red sauce. One of the best values in a happy hour on the Grand Strand. The service was outstanding with the food coming promptly and drink refills offered continuously. I highly recommend Wiseguys for locals and tourists alike. Great inviting place not far from Broadway without the crowd. Cheers!

Our service was excellent. We arrived during happy hour. They have $8.00 for a cheese pizza. We were told what size it would be . We couldn't believe our eyes. We had loaded tater tots that were loaded and delicious. The music was great! Oh and the Pineapple Mule was delicious too!

10 year old review: Pizza was 5 Stars. He beat me in Mini Golf so his vote is legit. 50 something year old review: Pizza was cracking, service great and wings were fire. 4.8 stars. I'll let you do the math. Eat up!! Highly recommend!

    The bar area.

The Sloppy Joe and Steak and Mac & cheese bowls were fandamntastic and such a great value. Our waiter and waitress were both outstanding and very accommodating with our order, the bar is clean well lit and cozy as bars go my wife a I greatly enjoyed our experience. We also loved the little touches, having Michael Myers and the leg lamp along with Spuds MacKenzie really makes this place feel great.

When I walked in with three kids, I thought I made a mistake. It looked like more of a bar. We sat at a high top and ordered boneless wings(good), bacon Mac and cheese burger (good and messy), Philly cheesesteak Mac and cheese burger (really good), and the Philly Cheesesteak (really good). Service was good.

This is a cute little hole in the wall. I was looking for something new that would appeal to my extended family. Of course, someone made snarky comment, "did you know this was a bar?" But they shut their mouth once they realized the food and service were top notch. I came in on a Saturday afternoon just before the holiday. My family and I were trying to sit together but our server let us know we could sit at the booth right near the door. We missed it! The other tables were high tops or at the bar. Service was excellent and food was great. Portions were large. We all left satisfied and with leftovers. Bring your ID if you plan on drinking, everyone was carded including the 50+ year olds. In all honesty, good in them for following the law; I felt flattered, too!!

Unfortunately, this dinner just added to our frustration. We had a 6:15 reservation and waited quite a while before a server arrived. When she did, she was very kind and took our drink and appetizer orders. But everything moved so slowly -- drinks and app took ages, and we placed our dinner order not long after. By 7:30, we still had no food. The server kept apologizing (she really was kind and doing her best), but it was clear something was off in the kitchen or with management. Eventually someone else came over, offered 20% off, and said our meals were "plating now" -- but that wasn't true, because we waited another 20 minutes. We were ready to cancel, and when the food finally came, I honestly couldn't enjoy it at that point. My chicken sandwich was nothing special (definitely not worth the wait), and my mom's scallops were salty and just bad. While our server was lovely, the overall experience with management and the kitchen was disappointing. Won't be back.

The blueberry gin and tonic was good. We ordered bbq chicken tacos, mahi tacos, grilled mahi mahi and a scallop salad. The food was okay. Our server seemed like she didn't really want to be there. I feel like the prices were reasonable but I wouldn't go again.

We had a reservation for 6:45 pm and arrived a little after 6:30. Almost everyone in the group went to the bar to wait and was told someone would come for them when the table was ready. I stopped in another store on the way in to the restaurant, so I was a few minutes behind. When I came in, I told the hostess that I'm meeting the rest of my party who is potentially already seated, if she could direct me to where. I gave her the name it was under, and she said they weren't checked in yet. I thought it was strange, but it was almost 6:45 and thought we should still be fine. I texted them to let them know what I was told-they DID check in, so I told the hostess I would wait until the table was ready with her so I could let the rest of my party know. I waited until 7:00 and asked her if we were still waiting for a table or if they were waiting for the rest of my party to come out front and she said she would go check. She came back and said that there still wasn't a table ready and we'd have to wait about 15 more minutes. I joined the rest of my group and went back up front since no one came to get us and asked again. We are now approaching an hour past our reservation and she had seated several other big groups one of which specifically told me they did not have a reservation. I got a little frustrated and let it be known and we were finally seated right about 7:45. If it wasn't for the fact that we had two small children with us that were losing their mind, I would've been fine, even if I was annoyed. When we were finally seated, we were fortunately greeted with a wonderful server, Abby A. I was not overly thrilled with the choices of food on the menu, but we had 6 adults and everyone found something and they were all famished, so I couldn't get many pictures. We ordered the street corn dip (delicious), crab hushpuppies (probably would have been really good had they not been so overcooked/on the verge of burnt) and island fries (I didn't try because 2 of the adults were tearing from the peppers) As for entrees, I settled for the steak skewers, which were well cooked, and tasted OK. I opted to get asparagus instead of the broccolini, but it was WAY overcooked, flavorless, and soggy. I wish I thought to ask for some other than fries because the 2 I tried weren't worth eating. Others ordered chicken peanut mango salad (good), Hawaiian Kalua pork (enjoyed), Capera Island salmon (done well), low country pasta added shrimp (shrimp was cooked nicely), and hamburger kids meal...thinner that McDonald's! She didn't even want to eat the burger "slice". The food was decent, but not nearly good enough for me to ever go back after waiting over an hour our time for a reservation that was made over a week ago without any apologies or even checking in on us. If I hadn't kept checking back, I don't think we would've been seated for a while. I could've spent about $400 somewhere else and had better food and treated with more respect while waiting for our LATE reservation.

The parking lot is usually full, which always felt like a good sign. Well... after years of saying "maybe next time," we finally stopped in -- and we're glad we did. We were in town for a few days doing some work at our place and decided to try something new for dinner. I checked Yelp beforehand to see if they had a happy hour menu, and they did -- and it looked good. We arrived around 5:00 pm. There were only a few cars in the lot at that time, and the building (which used to be a Pizza Hut) is easy to spot. When we walked in, we were told to sit wherever we liked, so we headed straight to the bar. The bartender greeted us right away, gave us menus and waters, and made us feel welcome. Since it was our first visit, we had a lot of questions about the menu. The food seemed like a fusion of Asian and Korean flavors, and we weren't very familiar with it. She was fantastic patient, knowledgeable, and very helpful. She even mentioned their Date Night special, which turned out to be a great deal. She made my wife an iced tea that was different than the usual but very good, and I had an Old Fashioned that was excellent. We decided on the Date Night Special, which is a prix fixe menu for two for $45. It includes one starter to share, a selection of small plates, each person choosing their own main from a list of six (two with a small upcharge), and a dessert to share. For our starter, we chose the Scallion Pancakes. They aren't really pancakes in the traditional sense -- more like a thinner batter that's deep-fried and served with two sauces. Both sauces were excellent, and the appetizer was a great way to start the meal. For our mains, my wife ordered the Bibimbap with chicken, and I had the Korean Fried Chicken (+$3). When they set the plates down in front of us, I looked at my wife and said, this looks really good -- why haven't we stopped here before? Her dish came in a shallow bowl with cucumbers in a sauce, thinly shaved carrots, kimchi, rice topped with an egg, and a piece of fried chicken with sauce. Mine came with coleslaw, fresh-cut French fries, and two chicken breasts covered in the same flavorful sauce. The chicken on both dishes was the same, and that sauce was outstanding. My first bite was literally, "Why have we passed this place so many times?" My wife loved everything on her plate, and I enjoyed every bite of mine as well. Our dessert, the Apple Crumble, came out before we were completely finished with our meals. This was really the only thing that could have been handled a little differently. Even though we didn't eat it right away, it was still good we just felt a bit rushed trying to finish our food so the dessert wouldn't get cold and the ice cream wouldn't melt. Overall, we found a new top-5 restaurant to eat at when we're in town. To top it all off, while sitting at the bar we were talking with a waiter named Logan. He asked where we were from and mentioned he had family there. It turned out he's a cousin of a friend who grew up with our son and was actually in our son's wedding. Just a few weeks earlier, they were all in Myrtle Beach for a bachelor party for his cousin. Small world! Don't be like us driving past for years and saying "maybe next time." Just stop in and give it a try. The food is wonderful, the service was great, and we will definitely be back.

Since it was my father's last night in North Myrtle Beach until September I thought it would be a great place to have our last dinner together for a while. I dialed up my app and made a 7PM reservation for three. We pulled in about 6:50 and found a spot right in front of the restaurant...it was going to be a good night. We got inside and chose to sit indoors near the bar. My father likes to see people and I felt this would be a good spot to do this and it was. The restaurant was mid century modern in design, airy and uncluttered...we were seated in a booth - chair combo that was a rendition of that style. We looked at the drink menu and my father went for a glass of Pinot Noir, his friend went for a lemon drop martini and I went for a Heineken 00. The waitress couldn't be nicer and quickly brought us our drinks. The lemon drop was perfect and served in an ice cold steel martini glass while my father was quite happy with his California Pinot. We reviewed the food menu and decided to share two "tables"...the deviled eggs and the pimento cheese dip with home made pork rinds. Within a few minutes, four deviled eggs arrived dressed up with a slice of jalapeño and sprinkled with bacon bits. A large plate of fresh pork rinds with homemade pimento cheese came out simultaneously. The deviled eggs were excellent with just the right texture and not too moist...the bacon bits added another layer of flavor and the jalapeño gave it a nice kick, however, the pork rinds and pimento cheese stole the show. The rinds were light and fluffy with just the right amount of crunch and the pimento cheese was superb...very flavorful with nice chunks of pimento and grated cheese. My father was diving in on the cheese so fast it was tough to get some. His lady friend also commented on how good it was. Next came the mains. My father settled in the American Waygu Burger with hand cut fries, I went for the lamb rack with string beans and roasted fingerling potatoes and the lady went for the Arugula salad with candied pecans, Granny Smith apples , goat cheese and craisins. My lamb was excellent...medium rare with a nice flavorful crust with a hint of garlic and herbs. The potatoes were well roasted and tasty while the string beans were cooked correctly but a tad bland. The arugula salad was delicious with a nice citrus dressing that played well with the candied pecans and craisins...the smith apples was a nice contrast. My father in the other hand, ate way too much pimento cheese and rinds and as a result just picked in his fries, which were excellent...salted well, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. He ended up taking the burger home. Amazingly, when dessert was brought up he was all in. Although known for their "Butter Cake" we decided to share(and by share I mean my father had about 90% of it) the Triple Layer Chocolate Cake. Turns out it's as good as it sounds...intense chocolate flavor in a very moist cake with vanilla ice cream and homemade whipped cream on the side...top notch. Sadly, it was getting late and my father had an early plane to catch so we got the bill(more reasonable than I expected), tipped the excellent waitress and said our good nights. We made plans to come back in September...although I'll be back well before that...Bar 19 Twelve will be going on my rotation.

Omg the meatloaf sandwich. Great outside bar, bartender and view. Nice to find a place that's not…read morefried everything.
