    Firecracker Burger

The weight wasn't long. The waitress was nice and accommodating. Our party of six was seated. I had a cheese pizza with mushroom and tomatoes and peppers. The pizza could have used seasoning. The sauce and the veggies could have used any seasoning. I ordered squash and zucchini. It needed seasoning. It was watery mushy veggies. My friend ordered the firecracker burger and he loved it. He said he was thrilled to have burger with 3 different meats on it. My nieces and nephews had hot dogs and fries. It came with a bun and frank. They were able to add any topping they liked. I have a coconut lime margarita, that's was pretty good. Gave off an island vibe. Based on my experience, I don't think it's the best place for me but others may enjoy it. I need seasoning on my food.

Great service, nice & friendly environment. The food was excellent. I would definitely recommend anyone to come here.

Loved the food. Service was excellent. Prices is really reasonable. The atmosphere is great. What else can you ask for?

I was not impressed. We were not helped when we arrived and chose to sit at the bar where the bartender waited a while before asking what we wanted. The spring rolls were piping hot when they came out and had decent flavor that wasnt too fishy. However, for $11.50, we thought they were overpriced. The nachos had a mound of iceberg lettuce which was not easy to eat with the chips. I don't think adding the chicken for $6 was worth it so maybe just stick with the basic nachos which themselves are $6.50. There weren't many people there so the overall ambiance was kind of dead. It potentially could be a good place to get a beer and watch a game but a sunday afternoon/evening was definitely a letdown.

I was hesitant after reading some of the reviews about trying this place. However, I prefer local establishments while traveling instead of chains so I had to give it a try. The inside of the restaurant looks like a small, modern firehouse (if a firehouse had a bar in the middle of the bays instead of trucks). They also have what appears to be a nice outside area with grass, games, a stage, and seating. The hostess was quick to greet us and must have read my mind about seating because she picked the perfect spot. Our server was super nice and took excellent care of us during our visit. The food came in large portions and tasted good. The only complaint was it could have been seasoned a little more. The "BBQ Platter" comes with two boneless chicken breasts, pulled pork, and two sides for just under $20.00; the Philly comes with one side for $14.75 and an additional $0.75 to add mushrooms. If you're staying in the area, looking for a quaint place to eat, or just have a thing for firehouses then check this place out.

The atmosphere was nice, music from a singer outside playing inside, not to loud we could still conversation! (HUGE PLUS) Our waitress was amazing! Had been in food industry for 20+ years just moved and started this job only her second day! Very friendly, smiling, polite, honest and on top of getting drink refills. Food was DELICIOUS, the southwest chicken and veggies flavorful and tender! I can't say enough good things about the zucchini and yellow squash! Cooked perfectly not mushy, not too hard and just the right amount of seasoning! Mahi Mahi amazing again cooked to perfection and so flavorful! Taco salad delicious, waitress again amazing at honoring requests! Taco shell not greasy or flimsy cooked to perfection! GREAT JOB CALLI BAKERS, keep cooking with passion! Can't wait to return for more delicious food!

We did takeout and were impressed by the ambiance so next time will be dine in. Of course by the time we got it home the fries n onion rings were not the best but the burgers were still warm. They had a great char to them and you could discern between medium well and medium rare. The kid menu options were great. Thank YELP for having a check in offer which I called back to mention, the lady taking orders was very amiable.

We have eaten at Cali Bakers twice on our recent trip to Myrtle Beach: lunch on our arrival day and a midweek breakfast. We cannot say enough good things about the restaurant. It is excellent casual food. We had great sandwiches at lunch (the buns on the sub sandwiches were excellent and the hot dog was enormous). Breakfast was also top notch. We indulged in cinnamon roll style frech toast, pancakes, eggs sausage hashbrowns, and eggs Benedict. All were top notch! Service was friendly, attentive and speedy! Can't think of any downsides here. Portions are also large and nor terribly priced! Run don't walk to this slightly out of the way restaurant in MB!

Service was great. Food was terrible. Very dry chicken. Very mushy, tasteless crab cake. Brocolli undercooked. Not al dente.

I was expecting more of a tavern or a brewery vibe which it does not have. It's in a strip mall and it feels like it's in a strip mall. It was VERY CLEAN and the bartender was friendly enough but the beer selection did not impress. Even though 20 taps sound like a lot, it didn't feel like it when I was trying to select a beer. And the food...do not go there hungry or at least do not expect a meal. We ordered Garlic Parmesan wings and got 5 for something like $8. They were tasty but looked like they came from a cornish hen. Seriously tiny. And the quesadilla was adequate but simple and unimpressive. Overall, not a bad place to get a drink, I just wouldn't go out of my way again.

The Crafty Rooster Bar and Grill Tucked right in the heart…read moreof downtown Conway, The Crafty Rooster Bar and Grill is the kind of hidden gem you hope to stumble upon--and then can't stop talking about once you do. Helen and I discovered it while scouting out local spots, and its location couldn't be better--just steps from the scenic Conway Riverwalk, surrounded by charming shops and historic buildings. Even the street parking (easy parallel with a two-hour window) felt like part of the laid-back, small-town experience. From the moment we walked in, the vibe hit just right: cozy, welcoming, and full of locals who clearly know a good thing when they see it. The staff made us feel right at home--friendly, attentive, and happy to help us navigate the menu. We kicked things off with the cold lobster dip, and let me tell you--this isn't your average appetizer. Imagine a creamy lobster roll transformed into a rich, indulgent dip, packed with chunks of lobster and served with warm pita points. It was the kind of dish you don't want to share... but have to. Helen went for the Reuben--perfectly stacked with shaved corned beef, tangy sauerkraut, Swiss cheese, and house-made Thousand Island, all grilled on black rye. I opted for the seafood platter with fish and shrimp, cooked to perfection. The fries were hand-cut, the seafood was fresh and flavorful, and while the jalapeño dill slaw had a bit more kick than I expected, the rest of the plate absolutely delivered. As we soaked in the atmosphere, we spotted a plate of loaded Brussels sprouts heading to another table--crispy, golden, tossed in garlic parmesan sauce, and topped with bacon and shredded parmesan. Safe to say, that's already on our must-try list for next time. And so is their "Everything but the Hen" wrap--a hearty combo of shaved steak, grilled shrimp, bacon, fresh veggies, provolone, and horseradish mayo wrapped up in a soft tortilla. Yes, it sounds as good as it looks. The best part? After a couple of beers, a full seafood platter, a loaded Reuben, and that incredible lobster dip, our total was still under $50--even with tip and tax. Great food, great prices, and a relaxed, local vibe--The Crafty Rooster Bar and Grill has officially earned a spot on our regular rotation. We'll definitely be back for more.
