Really enjoyed the food here. We went for a happy hour and prices were very good. We had pretzels with beer cheese and chicken strips with fries. Super crispy fries, the pretzels were served plenty warm and the homemade ranch did quite well with the tempura like battered chicken strips. We'd order all of these again, though the beer cheese served with the pretzels could've been heated better. I believe we paid only $2.50 for pints of Yuengling and we received a good pour each time. We'd give it five stars except we sat outside and smokers came out and parked near us after we had already started eating and our waiter seemed like he was super overworked as they were undoubtedly understaffed. At one point we sent one in our party back inside to grab a round of drinks as our waiter was just too busy to get back outside to us. Nice deck out back overlooking the pond, and the interior has a dark, divey feel, but we like that! We'll definitely be back here. read more

The Philly cheesesteak was a custom order with provolone, extra onions and sautéed mushrooms. It wasn't listed on the menu, but I had heard locals mention it was delicious. It was! My boyfriend enjoyed his pulled pork, but liked my cheesesteak better. The place is what you would expect from a dive bar, old and dated. They were short staffed so we had to wait quite awhile for drinks, service and our check. My boyfriend ended up walking to the bar to obtain our bill. In town for 5 days, stopped in on day one and decided we had found 'our' place. Service was amazing and cheerful, great choice of beer on tap, food was fantastic. First four days were an every day event for us. Day 5 was Sunday, no parking because of football so we tried another place down the street. Was there for about 15 minutes with not so much as an eye contact glance so we left. Drove back by Pine Lakes Tavern and a space was available. The place was packed, but we were greeted by Sissy right away. She was amazing, the service was fantastic. All of the bartender/servers were amazing, we so look forward to our next trip! Last night, I brought my family here and they treated us with the upmost disrespect. We have little ones and they do not have 21 and over after a certain time posted nor advised us upon entering. The waitress was not welcoming and visible showed disgust that we were there. Being that the patrons and workers were all whit and we are a black family, this felt blatantly discriminatory. Even with this, we proceeded to order with the waitress. After ordering, I noticed the male bartender use the remote and utter something to the female with a smirk. He blasted the speaker above our heads to drown out the sound of my son. My wife went to speak and they said the kids need to be quiet. We left. It was slow. It wasn't what I expected. I thought it would be fancier and I didn't like that there are only high top tables. Not everyone is 6 feet tall and 100 pounds. However, the owner saw our discomfort and cleared some bar chairs for us. They were comfortable chairs and a nice height at the bar. Where they excelled was the food. My friend and I went for just appetizers. The pimento cheese was delicious, we also had the pork rinds and hamburger sliders. The food came quickly and was excellent. The service was great as well. The parking is tricky and I don't know if there is parking in the back. Overall it was a great experience. read more

My husband and I were looking for a place to watch the Eagles game. We met some people the night before at Captain Archie's and they recommended Pine Lakes since the owner is from Philly and we would likely see other Eagles fans. Plus there is outside seating on a small lake. We loved this place. We went outside and immediately met some Eagle's fans and sat with them. Drinks are reasonable, and I highly recommend the espresso martini. Sure it's a divey bar, but give it a shot. We shared a burger and salad. Both were excellent. They take their food seriously. It's high quality while still keeping the sports bar vibe. Overall a great place to catch a game. read more

I am a Philly boy and love my Philly cheese steaks. They serve an authentic and tasty cheese steak with amoroso rolls flown in from Philly. They offer provolone or cheese wiz whatever is to your liking. It's definitely worth having one. I will continue to drop by and enjoy my cheese steaks there. read more

If there were negative stars I would give them rightfully so. As vacation owners for over 15 years, we come to MB often. We also aim to eat local. We were not welcomed as we came in with our family of 4 lively children. There is nowhere posted on the website or on the door saying 21 and up. The female bartender did not greet us and looked pretty disturbed when we sat down. As a black family with white patrons and bartenders, this made us feel uncomfortable. We decided to go ahead amid because we looked at the menu prior and were genuinely interested. After placing our order, all of a sudden, the speaker above our heads was turned on very loud by the gentleman. I went to the bar inquire and ask to turn it down and the lady said the kids need to be quiet and this is a 21 and older bar. We immediately got up to leave and said that we hope they are not treated this way with their family. They were slow and it is a TUESDAY. The service was excellent and our drinks were very good. There was a mixup with my food twice and it left me eating well after the rest of my party was finished. It was awkward and ruined the vibe. When my husband went to pay, the bill was significantly lower than it shouldve been. He brought that to the server's attention and had it corrected. The staff is exceedingly professional, fast, friendly, fun. What an awesome find!! Found it through Yelp and called for a reservation. She said they rarely have a wait and that made me nervous, but the menu looked great so we went with it. What a totally wonderful dive bar! Even had the obligatory naked woman painting in the men's room and highly worn picnic tables out back. The service from Salina was perfect. Very polite and helpful. The food was spot on...every item. App was the perfectly fried pork rinds and hand breaded mozzarella triangles with homemade sauce- which was great. Meals were a piled high pulled pork, salmon sandwich, chicken strips and philly sandwich complete with Cheesewiz. We had not one complaint and I told the staff this joint should be packed...quality food, great service and very affordable. Give them a shot! read more

Portions were huge, prices affordable. 12$ for burger, 9$ for wings. Beautiful outdoor area near the lake. This place is amazing. It's my local bar that I go to all the time. For anyone who watches How I Met Your Mother, it's like my McLaren's. They treat their locals really well here, which is why I keep coming back. The chef, Billy, always has great specials going on that he designs and cooks. I can tell you I've never had a bad meal here. The prime rib sliders are definitely my favorite though. All the bartenders are super nice and take excellent care of everyone. The draft selection is what I like even though I always get the same beer, it's nice to have options if I want to switch it up. The liquor selection is pretty standard, no crazy expensive stuff. The inside has a nice intimate feel with TVs all around for big game days, but the outside is where it's at. About four TVs so you don't have to worry about missing anything, and it's right on a lake with a garden so you have a great view while enjoying drinks with all your friends. read more

Its a friendly place, the only thing i can say that is a small negative is that sometimes services can be slow , but i think that is something that is going on everywhere due to the labor shortage. Seemed like a nice cozy atmosphere. The bathrooms are a single one person restroom, which seemed odd to me given it's a restaurant and a good amount of people can eat and fit in there.
