    Cinnamon Roll French Toast

While visiting Myrtle Beach, we found this sweet & cutesy little gem. The food & ambience was amazing & so was the service. We liked it so much we went 2 days in a row! My first visit I ordered the sweet potato pancakes and they were great. The next day I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast with strawberries and whip cream. It was so good that syrup was not needed. This place had some of the best turkey bacon we've ever tried, so crispy. The first visit our server was Sam & she was great! We thoroughly enjoyed this place so much that we're already saying how we can't wait to go back the next time we're in town. I highly recommend this place to anyone when at Myrtle Beach!

My husband and I come here EVERY YEAR for our family trip and scrambled never disappoints. The pancakes are wonderful. Get a side of fresh fruit and top it on the pancakes.... Staff is so nice here too. The place is clean. Love the vibes.

It was not bad, but it was not a great experience. The waitress was extremely sweet and very attentive, but We were all here as a group for my sister's graduation, and her food had to be taken back two times because it kept coming out the wrong way. On top of that everything was pretty bland. We were throwing salt and pepper on everything. Frustrating

Honored to be the first review for a new fam favorite breakfast/brunch spot in Myrtle! Fun scratch made food, great service, trendy plant and neon signs vibe, new hidden gem Good diversity of healthy and hardy options, vegetarian and meaty fare, fun brunchy drink menu (both alcohol and non), and everything we got was sodanggood They still have the classics even for our "I get the same item every time for 30 years" dads. Support this new local business y'all!

Scrambled Kitchen is a cool breakfast and brunch cafe in the Carolina Forest section of Myrtle Beach. The servers are quite efficient and they all seem to help each other out with each table. They have a nice selection of Mimosas and other brunch cocktails available. My wife had one called The Myrtle which she said was mediocre. We came for breakfast and we had high expectations but unfortunately it wasn't anything that was memorable. I had a Chorizo Omelette with grits and sourdough bread. The grits were stone ground which I love. They were creamy and delicious. The omelette had a good amount of chorizo and thinly sliced jalapeños but what killed it was the it was cooked to death. I don't recall ever having a dryer omelette. My wife had the same opinion on her Bacon & Cheese omelette saying it was overcooked. Hers was also not very cheesy. She loved the potatoes though. I'd consider trying Scrambled Kitchen again but I think I'd do something other than eggs.

    The area and the cleanness

I love the food and the service and it's very clean! The pancakes were one of my favorite and the omelet was very very good and overall a very very good place to eat

Sweet potato pancake ($7 for one-ripoff) and Forest scramble bowl

The food earned it 5 stars. Service and the misleading up charge dropped it two. The inside decor was cute and I see people using it for photo ops. Server was disinterested and not very personable. I ordered the Forest bowl and it was well done and delicious. However, the hollandaise that it was described as having never made it to the bowl, and the server didn't return so I could ask for it. I do feel the cheese could've been distributed better, as one bite of the dish had a clump of melted cheese, and that was it. I ordered a single sweet potato pancake, as they had "single pancake" on the menu for $4. My friend got a short stack of two pumpkin pancakes, a menu special. When the bill came, she was up charged $2 for pumpkin and I was up charged $3 for pumpkin, which I didn't even order. Also, I got one pancake and she got two, yet my up charge was more. Tried to get the server's attention for several minutes, but she was busy chatting. Finally, she explains it and it just doesn't make sense. I stated how misleading it was and how it wasn't explained, and she simply said yes, that's the way it is. I also said how do less pancakes get a higher upcharge than a single one and she says well, you also got the caramel, pecans, and whipped cream. I said so did my friend, and you didn't ask if I wanted that. That experience ruined me ever going back. The fact that she didn't see the logic and how misleading it was and make it right. Sad, Scrambled. Do better.

We tried Scrambled today as I've been reading in various place that everyone loves it. I agree that the food was good. I find many of its competitors in the area serve greasy food but not here. Serving size was enormous. Even my husband who eats a lot couldn't finish everything. I liked their coffee a lot. I usually find coffee to be weak in many places but today's coffee was flavorful. Service was great. Our server was very attentive and topped off our coffee so that it was always hot. Restaurant was very clean with simple decor. I liked this restaurant so much that I will bring our family and friends who visit us in the future.

We tried Scrambled this morning and weren't disappointed. We started with the fried green tomatoes, and though pimento cheese isn't our favorite, it was a nice addition with the piping hot tomatoes. Hubby ordered an omelet with cheese grits and a biscuit. He thought it was fine but would have liked more cheese in his omelet. My daughter was pleased with her breakfast of pancakes, bacon, and scrambled eggs. My breakfast burrito was good. It was too large for me to finish, and the chorizo was spicy. While it was good, I probably wouldn't order it again. The service here was good because even though the place was busy and our server was often busy, other employees stopped by our table to make sure we were satisfied.

This is the cutest brunch spot. Our food and drinks have been fantastic both times we visited. I really enjoyed the chicken and waffles and the cinnamon roll French toast. We will definitely be regular visitors to this perfect addition to Carolina Forest.

There are only a few tables, but they aren't cramped. You order at the counter and just take a seat, and your food and drinks will be served to you. I'd guess there's only two people working here on a random weekday. Expect your food to take a bit, but it's completely fresh, piping hot, and absolutely delicious. Portion sizes were large but balanced. I often can't finish sweet crepes due to getting sugar'd out. This one felt very focused on the fruit and allowing the Nutella to take a passenger, enhancing vibe instead. Omelette was cheese-central. I might ask for lighter cheese next time, but it was ridiculously delicious too. Croissants were SUPER light and fluffy, and they get served warm for you. Really tasty, perfectly baked. Bathroom was a single unisex room and older, but it was clean. Two booths that'll seat four people as well as multiple two-person tables with wooden, no-armed chairs. No stairs, and while it'd be a tight fit, a wheelchair could fit in here. (I don't think the bathroom is wheelchair accessible, though.) The guy running the place wasn't super friendly, but he wasn't *unfriendly*, and he was very efficient. He also popped in to see if we needed things and was there to deliver silverware and other things before we asked for them. If staff reads this: please replace/update the folded, faded paper signs on the outside of the building. That's part of why we haven't given this place a try in so long - and I'm sad we hadn't!

Honestly, the matcha wasn't my favorite part of the experience. I personally prefer a stronger, more intense matcha flavor, and this one was a little lighter than what I usually like. That being said, pretty much everything else was fantastic. The service was amazing from the moment we walked in. The place is beautiful, and even the music stood out to me. It just had a really good vibe overall. I also loved how extensive the menu is. I went for breakfast, but what caught my attention is that you can order pretty much anything at any time. It's not one of those places where you're limited to breakfast items in the morning. I ordered the Tropical Bowl, and wow. It was honestly one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The coconut lime rice was packed with flavor, the shrimp were cooked perfectly, and there was a sauce on top that tied everything together. The avocado was perfectly ripe, the seasoning was spot on, and the pickled onions and pineapple pico de gallo added so much freshness to the dish. Every bite just worked. I also learned that the owner attended culinary school in Cape Town, South Africa, and spent years cooking while traveling around the world. It was interesting to see how some of those global influences show up on the menu. Even the name "Lekker" comes from a South African word that's often used to describe something delicious or enjoyable, which felt pretty fitting after that meal. They also have pastries, specialty coffee drinks, brunch options, lunch items, and even cocktails. The menu is huge, and there's honestly something for everyone. I also tried a lavender latte with almond milk, and it was excellent. Between the food, the coffee, the atmosphere, and the service, this ended up being one of my favorite stops during my time in Myrtle Beach. If you're visiting Myrtle Beach, this is definitely a place worth checking out.
