Today I tried the saddle and silk latte. Omg it was so delicious and interesting! There's a hint of citrus, smoke, and slightly sweet without being overpowering. I also got their pork roll, which is one of my favorite things to get in Jersey. So glad they sell it here! I went to their new location in midtown, but either location is amazing. I'm surprised I haven't done a review of my favorite coffee shop before! Come try their coffee flights and enjoy the shops friendly vibe. I really wanted to like this place, but it was a big letdown. The cold brew, which is apparently "award-winning," tasted like watered-down brown water--completely lacking flavor or body. Even more concerning, the oat milk they used was not right. It wasn't sour, but it was visibly chunky and floating in the coffee, which made the drink pretty unappetizing. When I mentioned it, it felt like they were trying to pass it off as normal instead of addressing it seriously. That's not okay, especially for a coffee shop. The whole experience just felt careless. I don't mind the Jesus-forward vibe, but good messaging doesn't make up for poor quality and questionable standards. Definitely won't be coming back. My boyfriend meanwhile likes to support Ocean Breeze Café. Better coffee, better people, better vibe. read more

The vibes of this place are like no other!! From walking in and being welcome by the personnel working that were friendly to getting my drink it was top notch! I got an iced banana fosters latter with banana cold foam and I'm still thinking about it almost 2 hrs later! They had a ton of bakery goods as well that I didn't try but would like to come back and try! They have coffee flights which would love to try next time when I come with friends! Service was fast even though it was busy! I loved their shop that had clothing and other cute stuff like Bible verse hats! I love the meaning behind this coffee shop and love supporting local! Really great vibes with the music and friendly service. There was a bit of a line when I arrived at 10 AM Sunday morning, but it went relatively quickly. I enjoyed my half sweet caramel iced latte with vanilla cold foam as well as a couple egg bites and a blueberry lemon cookie. Everything was delicious. I'm pretty particular about my lattes and this one was perfect. Great spot to stop by the beach and make sure to check out their merchandise shop a few steps away in the next plaza. read more

We stopped here before packing up and leaving myrtle beach. This small shop has an extensive coffee menu and great bagel sandwiches! The cozy shop probably gets very busy. They were training new employees while we were there gearing up for the summer chaos. read more

I was looking for a good coffee spot my entire stay at the beach and found this gem on the last day on my way home and it was so perfect. I ordered a fan favorite, the dream Brûlé iced latte. No adjustment needed. The customer service was also great and the inside had cool decor that matched the name of the company. This coffee hits on ALL the right levels. If you can't decide what to get they have a really cool flight where you can choose hot or cold and get lattes or cold brew. Choose your own milk and delciiousness of the flavor of your choosing! Santa's Cherry Smash was just the right amount of cherry. Filthy Animal with the peanut butter twist was phenomenal. The Karimel Cookie was salty and delicious. Then the lavender honey was a great classic. Would definitely recommend and will go back for sure! They were GREAT! read more

I was disappointed with my coffee experience. The espresso tasted flat and lacked the richness and freshness I'd expect from a coffee shop. It also seemed overly dependent on artificial flavors. A quality commercial espresso machine and better-crafted recipes could elevate your drinks considerably. Went here for the first time & had a great experience. My coffee was excellent, my French donuts (gluten free/ vegan) were so incredibly tasty & it is hard to find good gluten free foods! From out of town and always encourage supporting local businesses. Quick search and stumbled upon this coffee shop. I love the small town coffee shop feel and this is the perfect spot. It is small and quaint; with artsy decor and good vibes. I noticed other customers, probably locals, are friendly and even said hello to me. (Rare these days) Besides the atmosphere, I ordered the tiramisu cold brew and it was very smooth tasting. I was expecting it to be sweet but was more coffee tasting, which I find a good thing but up to personal preference. Keep that in mind if you expect more sweetness. read more

What a CUTE shop! I'd guess that they're mid-moving since they have an extra-large building across the street (that we popped into first) that happens to be a retail/clothing store with the coffee portion currently still inside that strip mall across the street. Note: For anyone who would prefer to know, Beach Hippie is a Christian-forward religious business. They have a super-cute latte flight, and it's BY FAR the most customizable coffee flight I've ever seen. Not only can you pick from literally *any* drink on their menu for your four coffees, but you can swap between hot and iced, whipped cream or not, and even what milk fat percentages of the milk inside of it. Most places only have a set four lattes you "get" with a standard prep. You can basically make any latte you want, with customization you want, within your four-drink flight. Each one of their drinks was delicious too. We took full-sized, to-go options home with us and they were delicious to sip. I highly recommend getting their cold foam on your drinks. It's velvety-smooth. I never knew why people loved cold foam so much until today. They sell some gluten-free and vegan donuts and treats. As a person who doesn't have to worry about the allergen, I wasn't super into the gluten-free donuts we bought, but I'm glad they have a large selection available for people. Each donut and treat was individually-packaged in plastic packaging that kept it immaculate for travel and was clearly gluten labeled - though when we bought 5 different treats, that made for a lot of excess plastic. They also have some hot, wrapped, to-go bagel sandwiches that we loved. Really delicious. Everybody was friendly, and even after a flight and multiple full-sized drinks, we really didn't wait that long. Very nice, friendly staff. A couple outdoor tables as well - though I don't know how those tables had mosquitos at 9 in the morning. Why won't mosquitos just go away? We'll definitely be back! read more

We love checking out coffee shops while on vacation and Beach Hippie Coffee was first up on our list! It was very convenient to our condo and easy to find right off of king's highway. This is one of the more popular coffee shops so I suggest getting there as they open because they will have a line out the door. The space inside is tight but they do have menus scattered throughout to keep the line moving seamlessly. I also loved the beach hippie decor. I got the Beach Bun coffee and I liked it, I just wish it had more flavor. Next time I would get a cold foam to try to add to the flavorful taste that I love. Ordered a coffee whose description online was nothing like what I received. Ordered the Shaka love cold brew (coconut and macadamia) but it wasn't what I expected, the cup was lined with chocolate and did not taste of coconut at all. Instead of complaining I gave that to my boyfriend and ordered another 8$ coffee , cold brew with oat milk. When I received the coffee it was still very dark so I questioned if there was any oat milk in the coffee and the woman behind counter (blonde) gave me an attitude. Snatched the coffee made an additional and kind of pushed them towards me unpleasantly. Woman was so rude , spent 18$ for two coffees and an unpleasant experience. read more

I found this place on TikTok when looking for a great local coffee shop in MB, and it didn't disappoint. The vibes are great, coffee is even better, and the service is so nice. A woman who I'm assuming is the owner was so kind, and so was all her girls behind the counter. Filthy animal latte and peach green tea were amazing. My only nix was the bagel sandwiches, but we are from PA so we know what a good bagel is. Eggs were a weird texture and the bagels were nothing special. But it wouldn't stop me from going there again. 10/10 read more

A top find in Myrtle and convenient to Ocean Blvd hotels. Delicious coffees, great prices, outstanding breakfast bagel sandwiches. Ordering online was super easy and convenient. They have a retail store that's a standalone a little further up the road so make sure you're going to the right location, this one is in the shopping strip right next to the retail store with a blue umbrella out front. We ordered a few different coffees and they all blew us away with flavor. And again, the prices! These would easily be almost double anywhere else. Their menu is extensive and unique. I went several times during my stay in Myrtle Beach. This newly opened location was amazing and the owner super welcoming, passionate, and really intentional about what they're offering. You can feel the good energy as soon as you walk in. Although its mainly a coffee shop, the tea is incredible (I'm already trying to figure out how to get it shipped to a local shop in my city because it's that good), and the food did not disappoint. Lots of healthy options that still have real flavor, which I always appreciate. If you're looking for a place to relax, eat well, and enjoy really good cofeee, ir other drinks, I highly recommend this spot. It feels like one of those places you'll keep coming back to especially while being near the beach. FYI The new open location is the one at 2700 N Kings Hwy, unit 103. Beach Hippie Coffee is a great option for your caffeine fix in Myrtle Beach. They have a decent menu of food items, but what jumped out at me was their very unique menu of drink combinations. I went with an iced "Mahalo Kisses" which is described as an expresso drink with milk, macadamia, and coconut. and it was absolutely delicious without being too sweet. I wish more coffee shops were as creative with their expresso drink offerings. Service was friendly, prices were reasonable, and the interiors gave off cool hippie vibes. I'd definitely recommend Beach Hippie Coffee to others and return here on my next visit to Myrtle Beach. It's definitely a refreshing alternative to your typical chain coffee places. read more

Beach Hippie Coffee is my new favorite coffee spot on the GrandStrand! When on vacation, we stopped here three times on our way to the beach. My favorite go to drink is the tiramisu cold brew with cold foam. On our last day in town, I bought two of them because I knew I wouldn't be back for quite a while! Another fun thing to do is get the coffee flights and try a variety of different flavors. My wife and I enjoyed this while we sat and chatted. The vibe here is really cool. For breakfast, they have a good selection of bakery items and sandwiches. I went with a bacon egg and cheese cheddar bagel sandwich that was delicious and filling. When you are done, be sure to walk across the side street and visit their gift shop. I certainly bought a Beach Hippie Coffee Shop shirt to take home! Can't wait to visit again.
